Forgetting the Past [Travel]

Mist village didn't suit Haru, he couldn't use the water release and the constant fog made for soggy sand that didn't help his cause. Unfortunately, he had planned on becoming Mizukage some day but that didn't look like it was going to happen at this rate. The news that the current Mizukage had died spread throughout the entire village ten seconds before it happened, or so it seemed. The third kage in a month, the village was failing fast and his lack of acceptance as one of the few Mist nin still left didn't help. The only option was to go, to leave, to go missing. Even at his low level it seemed like it would work, after all, the ANBU were distracted trying to hunt down the kages killer so they wouldn't care about a little genin taking a boat over to another country. The decision was made, now where to? The fire country was due west from the Island that was the Water country, but they had a hidden village which meant they had ANBU, a smaller country was a better idea. The country of Tea was the closest at this point, that was where he would go.

Every Mist nin knew how to sail, it was a necessity for living on an island, so he had no problem when it came to making his escape. The docks were barely guarded, the only sentries were on the particularly grand boats, so he had no problem locating a small two-masted schooner with no one guarding it. With the help of his sand on board he was able to rig the sails up and be under way in about five minutes.

Now in the country of Tea Haru felt free, the oppressive fog wasn't as prevalent here, he felt like he could breath. Even the sand on his back felt lighter, no longer waterlogged. He set off to find somewhere to train, now that he was missing he was on his own and therefore needed to be ready for anything. Here wasn't the best place though, right next to his vagabond vessel, he needed to move and keep moving to be safe. The only option would be to follow the beach and keep plenty of sand at his disposal at all times to be safe.
