Forward to the Past [Travel]

Prygus ran. His cloak now tan with sand. He knew that he would soon be overheating in the glaring desert sun if he did not rest soon, but he did not care. He put this aside and continued running, possibly at an even faster pace. He was near the Village hidden in Sand and was moving towards the Wind capital, where he hoped to find the Kazekage. His earliers doubts were gone. He had only one goal now: To find Them. To find Them he would need the help of the Kazekage, which had led him to his current journey. He was dashing through the desert, perhaps even sprinting, with his eyes closed to keep out the sand. He could only hope that no one would run into him.

Eventually, the sand stopped blowing at his face. Prygus opened his eyes and looked around. He was still in the desert, but the wind had reversed. Now sand blew into the back of his head. But the change in the winds was not the best thing that he found. He now looked out across the desert, where he could now clearly see the gate to the Capital City. He approached the gates and entered head lowered, deep in thought. Hopefully, the Kazekage was still here.

What had caused such a rushed journey? Just a few days ago, Prygus had visited the Academy in the sand Village. It brought back a memory. This was a memory of one building. It was round and in a pleasant yard with grass and trees. His mind assoiciated this building with one word: Academy. He knew that if he found this academy it might bring back other memories that he had lost for an unknown reason.

And so, the search began. Prygus strode purposefully through the streets of the Wind Capital, his eyes peeled for the Kazekage or his bodyguards. His urgency was not paramount, his only goal being ot speak to the Kazekage before he left the capital. However, the sand-nin was not patient man, and so his search was conducted with the utmost rapidity. From shop to inn to bar, the sand-nin followed the Kazekage's trail all around the capital.

Shop keepers and barmen gave him vauge directions, such as " He went North" or " He went to a store" At one point Prygus became so rustrated by one barman's vauge directions, he seiosly considered killing him. However, it turned out that the barman was one lucky man, as the sand-nin calculated thaat sucha murder would be a waste of time. Eventually, he ended up in "The Drunken Gourd", a bar on the eastern side of town.

"Have you seen the Kazekage?" the sand-nin would ask in a polite voice that he struggled to maintain.

"Why no, I haven't, so get out of my bar you little runt!" the barman replied in angry tones. Evidently he did not like having a child in his bar.

The Shogan armor attached to the young man gleemed slightly. The large six bladed sword stayed against the armor along his back. His Katana and Watizashi stayed along his right hand side. The great snake crawled along the sides of the warrior. Walking on through he would reach where his next destination would be. It was somewhat painful to stop everywhere that he was going, except where it was needed. Taking in a deep breathe the young warrior would reach his next destination, though he would not know it. He would give out a little wave towards the Sand Ninja, awknowledging him, knowing of him as he would continue to walk on, without saying a word. (Short I know sorry I also did not mention that Heero knew lol cause that be weird.)

Prygus sighed and stepped out into the street, preparing to once again continue his search. He turned and saw, in some strange stroke of luck, or perhaps fate, the Kazekage himself walk by and wave, shogun armor gleeming in the sun, great sword attached to his back. He gave off a very aura of power and control, and perhaps even evil. The genin was so stunned by his sudden appearance that he simply stood and stared for a whole ten seconds. then, he dashed down the street to a position level with the Kazekage.

"Kazekage-sama. May I have a word?" he asked the young warrior as he caught up to him.

As the one who wished to speak to Heero stopped, the warrior would glance at him for a brief moment. Then he stopped and flicked his head some jerking it back slightly as the helmet along his head would slowly begin to seep down, as if alive, as if it was real. The armor slowly began to move along the face mask, showing his tanned skin tone. Then the dark, black goggles covering his eyes. Finally it would seep over his head as his long black hair gently began to float off into the distance as he stood there calmly, watching with every intention. His eyes were not normal, it seemed he never released his true eyes, the eyes of the demon within him as he watched calmly. These eyes of course can not, nor were not capable of being seen through the dark black goggles.

"Yes, how may I help you" he would speak out somewhat stern, direct, but calming in a sense as he stood proudly.

Prygus would watch as the Kazekage's mask would move, shifting, almost as if it was a living organism, moving onto his back.

"Yes, how may I help you"

"I would like to request a special mission. It relates greatly to my past, which I'm sure you know at leat a little about. You see, four years agoI was found in the desert near the Village. I was brough in and made a part of the village. I later became a shinobi because it was obvious that I had had previous training. The problem was that, other than how to perform academy level tecnigues, all my memories before I was found in desert were wiped clean. However, recently, while visiting the sand academy, I had a flasback. I remembered a picture, and related to this picuture, the word 'Academy'. This picture was of a large building, made of wood and a little stone, with a red roof, surrounded by trees. This is my only link to my past. I think that if I go to each ninja village, I will eventually find this academy, and at the very least, know my birthplace. Perhaps I will have futher flashbacks; I do not know. However, to achieve this goal, I need your help. I have no way to get into any of the hidden villages, and, even if I did, I would become a missing nin without your permission.

In return for assisting me on my mission, I will collect and bring back as much as possible of that witch Sand hungers for more than anything else: Knowledge. If you worry about me leaving the village, send another sand-nin with me; I do not care. Just give me permission to go search and a reason to enter each village."

The young Kage heard the words of the man. He would listen very carefully. His eyes would be upon the man watching with that of the demon within him. If he was indeed lieing about the information there was a seventy percent chance that Heero will know if he was lieing. (doubt you are) He was reading every word the man was speaking about, from him speaking about someone accompany and the whole flash vision. (Doubt you are lieing but if you are let me know so I can dot he die roll. I never turned off his eyes from the previous thread so he is reading a lot. Not intentional)

He would slowly place a hand up along his chin as he nodded a few times. "Well, from what I have heard from you" he would say calmly taking in a deep breathe. "Hmmm, well, first accompany to the shop then and I will allow you to go" he would say softly turning and to begin his walk. "From what you have stated I have three theories. Three Academies, well you said Wood so my first guess is perhaps Leaf, and Grass Village, then you spoke of Stone so I am considering perhaps Stone Village as well." he would stop and turn to the young man. "I can get you a map that may help you with your Journey. We do have location to a few villages, however, we are not in Sand Village so I can not give you this information." he said calmly. "I will allow you, just be safe, and please check back with us by a message at least every month" he would say softly. (Every month like maybe a couple of weeks in real life). "It is not to check up on you, but to ensure your safety." with that he would wait to hear what the young man would say, if he was willing to go to the shop he woudl head off there, it was his next destination.

Prygus would listen carefully, taking in every word the Kazekage said.

"I shall go to the shop with you then. Thank you."

Through the streets of the Wind Capital he dashed. Small fluries of sand fallowed in his wake. Towards the gate he went, and with a new determination did he travel. He weighed his options as he approached the gates.

The kazakage said to go to Stone, Grass, and leaf. However, my gut tells me its not Stone. Grass first then.

Out of the Capital he would go, turning Northeast. He would check his equipement, doing a cheklist in his head. His equipement is as follows: His ususal black cloak, black t-shirt, and camo pants. He had his sword, a canteen of water, and a small pouch of food. He also had his ninja tools and a map. Commited to memory, he had various tecniques, most of which he planned to learn on his journey.

To the Northeast he went, his speed nmatched, his determination set. Nothing could stop him now.

Through the desert he tromped, knowing things were bad. His water had run out days ago, and he had become lost. He was in a horrid condition, and so he never saw the quicksand. Never was he seen again.
