Traveling to the Capital (Private)

As Shingai would leave the tunnel system of Cloud and make his way through the thickening forest he would finally find himself free in the Land of Thunder once more. He would turn back and wait for his team to meet back up with him. The day would be calm, a few clouds would float by through the rich blue sky. The sun was warm but contradicted by the cooling breeze that passed by.

Such a wondrous day...

Shingai missed days like these, the days of travel where he could go anywhere he wished. The days of the free man on the run from numerous countries. The outlaw of the Akumu, the Demon of the Nightmares. Shingai Kujo Akumu, was set to roam the land once more, but now as a leader, and not a loner.

[Kvasir]

The ANBU at the gate had held us all up, the team was seperated but I was sure Shin would wait right outside the tunnel system... And sure enough, after dashing through the tunnels I'd see Shin waiting there. I could hardly contain the excitment as I ran about the small area, waiting for our third and final teamate to show up.

[Haruka]

Yori and her team mates were finally reunited and ready to head towards the Thunder Capital, a place she had been only a few days ago on her last mission. The day was beautiful and soothing, and the pastures of grass danced with the wind. Yori would put her hand over her flowing blond hair to keep it going into her eyes. The girl would take a look at her surroundings and try to recall which way was the capital....

The team has gathered once more and the mission would soon begin. The trio would no more than shortly after gathering together head off through the woodlands of Thunder towards the Capital. Shingai's ice cold eyes, would peer through his mask observing the nature around him. He was coming to realize that even the most obvious of loners can quickly become a well organized leader. He hoped to be as good as his former captain. The one who helped him reach the level he is today.

The quick movements building on the quick but steady pace was something Shingai learned from the Hunters who stalked him throughout his childhood. Only to be thwarted by the well organized ninja who aided him. Stealth is a key aspect of a shinobi, but without a good plan and organized train of thoughts the team of hunters will fall to the team of shinobi who have thought out how to work well together. Now he only hoped that this team of his would fit well together.

(OOC: Yori at the end of your post we'll be moved to the Capital.)

Shin moved quickly, as soon as the whole team was back together we where already moving out again. I couldn't wait for the soon to come missions once we got to the Thunder Capital. I would dart from place to place as we moved toward our destination, looking at everything and anything but making sure to stay with the team. It had been some time since I had been outside the Village and I was happy to see someting other than the Village for a change.

[Haruka]

Once the team were united, they would dash off towards the capital. Yori made sure this time not to fall behind, and followed the chunnin's every step. Several hours would go by, and the shinobi would not speak to each other, for they were more focused on getting to the capital in time to meet their allied team, a team of Sound ninjas. Yori was excited because she had never see the people from Sound, and so she would pick up her pace and hurry towards the capital's gates....

As the trio would travel onward, they would begin to see the outskirts of the luxurious Capital. It hadn't been that long since Shingai himself was here, with those two children. Upon entering the Capital Shingai would come to a slow and steady pace, until finally reaching his end. He would then turn back to his teammates, observing their movements carefully, he didn't wish to make any wrong assumptions about them.

"Let's just get this done so we can work together better," he would say at first, his voice expressionless as usual. "My name is Shingai Akumu, I will be the Team Captain for these missions. I am what some refer to as a Clan Specialist, someone who learns the arts of well organized special families. I am also very proficient in close range combat, particular to the art of swordplay," his explanation of himself seemed rather unlike him. To give such information away so easily could be dangerous. But the situation was obvious, he would need them to trust him and return with information that could be of use in the battles to come.

Great risk can provide great reward...

He would face more so towards Kiyoshi now, and take a quick note of his ticks and movements. Trying to figure out exactly how he works, and to see particular characteristics that could aid him later. "It's your turn Kiyoshi," he would say, and the microphone would be handed over, or so to speak.

Cool! Not only did Shin finally give me his full name, but he actually told me stuff about himself without being asked. This told me he wanted to get us to trust each other, which was good. I would soak in the information like a sponge, it could come in handy. And then, of course, he wanted me to do the same. I'd stand up straight and speak. "Alright, my name is Kiyoshi Moriko! *Arf!* I am good at Genjutsu, Phantasm and Invisibility Genjutsu in particular, and might be able to match your swords with my staff. I look forward to the mission... err... missions! *Arf!*" I'd finish with a smile and then turn to look at Yori, who would most likely speak next.

[Haruka]

The team of shinobi would finally arrive at their destination, the Thunder City Capital. Seeing no sign of Sound ninjas, the team seemed to have gotten there a bit early, which was in fact a good thing, because it gave them enough time to finally get to know each other. This was important in order to be able to work together. The chunnin would turn to the two genin and speak. “My name is Shingai Akumu, I will be the Team Captain for these missions…”

Yori was relieved to finally know the chunnin’s name and was very impressed at how experienced he claimed to be. She almost felt intimidated, especially when it was Kiyoshi’s turn, because that would mean she would have to go next. The girl would twirl her hair nervously as Kiyoshi spoke. “I am good at Genjutsu, Phantasm and Invisibility Genjutsu in particular…” She listened intently as she tried to relax her nerves. Once the boy had finished explaining what he specialized in, Yori would go next.

“Umm, my name is Yori Shimizu. I’m…a puppeteer…And I specialize in ninjutsus.” She looked up at her team mates, hoping that they wouldn’t think she was weak because she ‘played with dolls’ so to speak. This was something she had been made fun of ever since she was a child. But by looking at they’re faces, they seemed more impressed then disappointed. Yori would smile. “I also look forward to our missions. Let’s make Raikage-sama proud. ^^”

[Kuro]

So the introductions would begin and complete quite easily. So it would seem that he had quite the variety of abilities within this team. Himself specializing in close range combat, added with the abilities that Kiyoshi possessed in Genjutsu, and finally Yori's puppeteer abilities. Something he had never witnessed before was the puppeteer style. He would grin slightly as his curiosity would grow at the possibilities that a puppeteer could hold.

Interesting...

He would look at both of the gennin now, both so promising, he wondered how well this set of missions would go. Pulling out the scroll that contained all the information on the missions, he would look at Kiyoshi first, and then to Yori. The age difference was visible to him. "Kiyoshi, you and Yori should look over our missions, I have a quick errand to run," he would say at first. Tossing the scroll to Kiyoshi he would let the grin under his mask remain as he would then quickly make his exit. Leaping up to the roof tops and making his search begin.

This was awesome, the team was well balanced, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and Ninjutsu. Each one had it's own place in our team, I couldn't wait to show off some of my Genjutsu techniques..."Kiyoshi, you and Yori should look over our missions, I have a quick errand to run," I caught the scroll quickly. "Alright, I guess we'll just stay around here or something..." Now that we had got to the capital it may take a while for those Sound Ninja to get here. In the mean while, there was no reason for us not to train right? I decided that unless Shin came back with the Sound ninja I'd ask if we could meet up later. I turned to Yori and put the scroll out, I had already seen the mission at the Raikage tower, although I wasn't sure if Yori had. "Do you want to look at it?"

[Haruka]

Yori also noticed how well balanced their team had ended up being. They should be able to have no problem if any encounter was to occur with an enemy. After a few moments of waiting, Shingai would begin to look a bit impatient. Before Yori knew it, the boy had tossed the scroll at Kiyoshi and said he had a few errands to run. He would not allow himself to be questioned and dashed off into the forest. Yori scratched her head and wondered where the hell were those Sound ninjas. She sighed softly as she waited for Kiyoshi to finish reading the scroll. After a few seconds he handed it over to Yori. "Do you want to look at it?"

Yori nodded and took a look at the scroll. It was filled with small, tightly packed words, describing their missions in detail. Her eyes would scan the scroll and stop at the amount of Ryo each mission awarded. She did a quick mental math and was glad to know she would obtain a large amount of money if they were able to complete the missions. Yori thought about all the possible things she can get with this money, such as buying new puppets...

[Kuro]

[Enters]

Like a bird Shingai would appear leaping over a roof top with a great speed, diving down to the ground below almost as if a suicidal tendency would be applied in his mind. Flips and twists into complicated turns and the elegant Shingai would land gracefully on his feet in a crouched position. He would stand up and look at the duo, he wasn't sure what he had missed but Yori seemed to be dazing off about something.

Within one's mind is where true freedom reigns...

Reaching back into his pouch he would pull out a comm device holding it out to Kiyoshi. "Consider this a gift, it will come in great use in our mission," he would then look to Yori, he had known the name from somewhere. Something told him that she wa sa little bit more experienced than Kiyoshi. "By any chance do you already have a communications device?" he would ask. If not he would be forced to return to the store and buy yet another comm device set.

Sweet! I was not even into the missions yet and it was already paying off. "Thanks! *Arf!*" I'd grab the comm device and messed with it a bit. I'd seen them in use before, but had never owned one myself. After a few moments of fumbling around with the new peice of equiptment, I'd have the comm device on and working. This would definently come in handy later during the missions.

Yori snapped out of her day dream of buying new puppets and saw that Shingai had arrived from running his errands. He landed gracefully in front of the two genin and rose up slowly. He then reached inside his pouch and took out a communication device and handed it over to Kiyoshi. The boy would thank the chunnin and began examining the device for a bit. Shingai would then turn to the girl and asked if she already had one.

"As a matter a fact, I do. I received one from an assistant at the Raikage Tower." She went into her own pouch tied to her small waist and removed the communication device to show him. She placed it on her to try it on. She couldn't help but feel really cool wearing one ^^. Suddenly, in the distance, Yori would notice a large group of people looking a bit lost. They were dressed in elaborate outfits and resembled a rock band. "Could those be the people we need to escort?" said Yori as she pointed at them. Without saying another word, the girl would dash towards the group and hope that her team would follow....

Kiyoshi had received his gift, and Yori confirmed a goal of his own. She then spotted a group of what would seem like the mission's objectives. She would set off to see them, and it was rather irritating that she would set off so quickly but it reminded him of his own youth, before the event in the Akumu Village. A sigh would escape his lips behind his porcelain mask. He would then look at Kiyoshi, it was time for Shingai's first test. A test that would truly prove their worthiness as shinobi.

To act as one without guidance...

"Kiyoshi, I have something I must do before I can join your mission. Special orders, so to speak, I need you and Yori to greet the Sound Nin and work together with them. You two will be beginning the mission without me," he would say at first, then looking off towards Yori as she made her way to her destination. "You both have comm devices, use them and keep in touch with each other. Use radio frequency seven, when I'm done with my task I will return to you, I promise it won't take long. Just communicate with her, you'll be fine," with that said he would preform a quick sunshin and his exit would be made. For Kiyoshi and Yori's sake, he hoped they would work together.

As Yori ran off, Shin started giving me instructions. It looked like her wanted me to stay with her and start the mission by ourselves. At this point, I was just excited that the mission could get started. "Alright! We'll handle everything untill you get back! *Arf!*" He'd Sunshin off and I'd run toward Yori, ready to get these missions underway.
