Talo awoke with a start, he looked about himself quickly getting his bearings. Today was the day he was going to start his new work ethic, which consisted of vigirous physical exercises and a personal rule to not stop until he was satisfied. Talo climbed out of bed, blindly searching for his shoes in the dark, good, they were under the bed were he put them last night. Stumbling out of the room and grabbing his forehead protector, Talo set out to the training grounds.
The morning sun felt good on his face as he strolled out of the apartment complex, he had a good feeling about today. He'd been working on a new technique he'd heard about and was extremely interested in mastering.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: kaze haji no justu (Wind grasp Technique)
Rank: c
Type: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user concentrate air pressure under- or around- an objects so that the wind created is able to lift it into the air, by increasing the pressure and adding a lot of extra charka the object begins to be crushed.
Special: Ox, snake, Dragon, boar.
Drawback: The position of the attack can be normally judged by where the user is looking and it can also takes years of training to reach the chakra contol necessary to use this jutsu. Apart from the training aspect it also puts extreme pressure on the shinobi's body if it used in rapid succession.
Description: The user performs hand seals, as this happens a current of wind shoot under the selected area and lifts any objects in the zone into the air forcefully. This includes the ground someone is standing if a lot of chakra is poured into the jutsu, this said it is impossible to move anything too large for an average shinobi’s skill I.e. whole bridges, mountains, houses etc.
Limit: Release wind (futon)
He knew this technique was an extremely difficult jutsu to master because of the percise chakra control and focus, but he had decided he was up to the challange. His recent trys on the technique involved him using small stones to begin with. All he had managed was to lift the stone feebily off the ground and apply a little pressure, hardly the results he was looking for. Today was going to be different though, he planned on using wood so he could see just how much pressure he was appling. As Talo was nearing the training grounds he spotting a small log off the side of the road, strolling by, he grabbed the log up and went on his way. Once at the training ground, which was particularly empty today, Talo placed the log cautiously down and took a few steps back. Taking a deep breath Talo made the correct hand signs with stunning speed, Ox, snake, Dragon, boar. He cleared his mind and focused, creating the image of the log in his mind, seeing it being lifted into the air and being pulvorized into tiny splinters. He peeked his eyes open and was dismayed to see the log just clattering to the ground in one solid piece. 'UGHHH" groaned Talo at the frustation he felt, but this was not going to stop him, not by a long shot. Talo again made the hand signs with hastened accuracy Ox, snake, Dragon, boar, and focused his chakra. He started to manipulate the air under the log, lifting it gently into the air, and then he began to push the air around the log inward with increasing force and pressure. Sweat rolled down Talo's temples as the pressure on the log increased, more and more Talo poured the pressure onto the log, until finally he lost focus with a gasp. Talo looked about himself and at the log, he smiled slightly to see the log had several fractures and at the top was splitting. "Good" he enthused, "but not yet."
Talo rolled up his sleeves and began to clear his mind once again, making the nessessary hand signs, he took in a deep breath. Focusing all of his chakra on the log, the wood lifting off the ground swiftly, the sounds of snapping and popping of wood could be heard easily. Talo redoubled his efforts and poured on my chakra, increasing the pressure greatly. The log's fractures widened and with a resounding CRACK, the top of the log inploded and shards of wood whirled out in every direction. Talo whooped in excitement and put down his hands as he went to examine his work. The log had been entirely crushed by his focused chakra and manipulation of the air, this was his first step in mastering kaze haji no justu.
As the day went by, Talo went from that log, to wooden posts, and finally small boulders. The rocks were a big leap in his mastering of the technique, the new composition of the material he was trying to crush posed a problem. The rock required almost double the chakra to crush and took him almost 3 hours of clear focus and hard work. Talo was confident in the technique when he decided to put the jutsu to the test. Talo strung his bow and notched an arrow with pain staking carefulness and meticulous percision. Talo aimed his bow up high at the right angle and drew back with trained ease, the arrow zipped up upon release and almost instantly Talo dropped the bow and made the proper hand signs for kaze haji no justu and focused his mind on the arrow. High up in the sky one could see the helpless arrow flying straight and true one moment, and the next being crushed and shards of it's once flawless shaft exploding in different directions. Talo smiled, strapped his bow back on his back, and left the training grounds, he needed to rest up before another session of training.
