Mika blinked at the sunny day, smiling gently. She pulled her black backpack higher up her shoulder to a more comfortable position, her eyes searching the grounds. She couldn’t help but feel excited; she didn’t get to visit the Water City Capital often.
She decided to take a stroll through centre of the street, head turning at the variety of shops calling out to her little purse. Mika squeaked in delight with a little jump to her step; she hadn’t taken much time for fun lately. She looked around meekly at all the other people of the streets; flecks of ninja here and there. Mika played with one of her ponytails absentmindedly as she picked ninja from the average town’s folk. Not that she found Ninja at a higher rank to the villagers; she considered all equal.
She smiled with childish delight and ran over to a window to peer in. A selection of fresh sweets and goods was displayed within; the colors and fancy styles making Mika giggle girlishly.
The shopkeeper caught her eye and Mika moved of quickly, not wanting to draw attention to herself or offend the man with her inappropriate behavior. She continued on down the bustling little street, admiring all this day had to offer her. She tugged her fluff-hemmed hood to a better position about the back of her neck and walked forward to a neat little noodle shack. She peered in and took in the aroma of all flavors of Ramen, her mouth watering only just. She placed a finger onto her lip cutely, pondering the question at hand; should she?
Mika removed her finger and turned her back on the little hut, sighing. She was here today to meet a friend, and to start lunch without him was just so impolite.
Mika found a little bench off to the side of the path; in the shade of a large, deep-green tree. Mika sat daintily on the bench under this tree, placed her backpack at her feet, and awaited the arrival of her friend.
