Reigning in a new Era [Event]

When he heard what one of the ninja whom investigated the explosion site said he felt a mix of relief and confusion, he distinctly remembered seeing the fifth kage being executed by command of the then council, it was what first made him seek out the resistance, unfortunetly it was to no avail and it proceded without him, "Yo Zag, Kazuya just signaled us to come over to him, lets go Haimaru." said kouga, Zag put his thoughts aside and looked up to see Kazuya was indeed signally to the both of them, he put away his weapon and followed kouga up to their teams leader.

((OOC wierd event eh? the coronation was upstaged by a kamikaze kage))

[Kinz]

“A rain check for you then Kazuya. Perhaps when next we have an opportunity.”

Muteki’s offer had been declined, and though he was a little perturbed by the lack of respect shown him, he cared not. As long as Kazuya continued his forceful ways the way he had shown earlier, he thought he would make it just fine as a kage.

“Oh, Kazuya. I thought you should know, I will be heading off for a time outside the village. I’ll be back, but traveling is to much fun for me to stay away from it forever. Just to let you know.”

After Muteki had informed the kage of his intentions, he would hop off the stage where he had been and begin striding away, until he heard a voice. What ego this being had to presume he could question Muteki’s actions. Looking at the lad it would seem he was slightly older then Muteki himself. After not only criticizing his “investigation” he then proceeded to say that Koga was some how going to help overthrow a council? And that he was Koga’s friend? Anger once again built in the animalistic emotions of Muteki. Striding towards him, Muteki would stop just a bit away from him.

“You. Who the f**k do you think you are? Koga was a traitor. I left rain in his hands, trusting he would take care of it. I left to prevent war that he allowed to happen. Now you try to tell me he comes back now? We already defeated this council. Where was the asshole a year ago? Probably traveling with your sorry ass. Just for saying you aided this criminal, you should be thrown in jail, or worse. Do not ever criticize me you scum.”

The snarl behind Muteki’s voice was filled with animalistic rage. He had always been an emotional man, but this was on an entirely different plane.

“If it wasn’t for Kazuya being here and the few innocents being around, I’d make sure you were in worse shape then your friend there boy. Mark my words, your life is forfeit the moment I see you outside this place. No useless sack of girl thingy willows will be allowed to criticize me and live. Or perhaps you would like to settle this now? Throw the first punch tard-o. See what becomes of it. Either that or get the hell out of our village. So what boy? You feelin froggy? Then leap biatch.”

Muteki had closed the gap even further, being face to face with the man. His wide toothy grin level with the other mans face. This was indeed a tense situation.

Kazuya would nod softly to Muteki, he knew that he should have accepted however he had much to do with all of this. Putting his palm over his face softly, he would sigh heavily and shake his head. His head was starting to hurt from all of this, someone would be mud stomped if they did not tell him what he wanted to hear next. "Yes, another time. I've simply got too much going on, and now an investigation to boot." he said with an annoyed tone as he turned to ZaG and Kouga. "You two alright..?" he would ask, however he would not truly wait for a response. If they spoke, he would of course hear it however his attention was now once more back upon Muteki. Did this day never end!?! Carrying himself forth, Kazuya would assert himself once more into the situation. "No, you will stand down now, both of you. You may be a Kage of old, however the way you are acting is uncalled for. I will deal with this, go." said Kazuya as he drew closer.

A look of powerful determination shown forth upon the young Kages face. If he had to result to force, so be it. Bloodshed among comrades, what would come next? The fall of all they were working for would not happen today, he would fight anyone just to ensure this. "I will take the man to the tower for questioning. It is all under control." he stated with a nod as he turned back to his two students. "Escort this man (Jason) to the tower, make him comfortable and wait for me to arrive." he said with a tone of command. This was no longer a request, but an order. His tone had quickly gone from friendly to serious, a new Kazuya that had developed within the wars womb. "Everyone else, carry on. Go about your tasks." he would state as he turned to shuffle off towards the stage. He would collect the vestiments he had cast aside and once more slip them on. His people would recognize him as a symbol in such a manner.

Zag was surprised by the command Kazuya displayed, 'I suppose it comes with the crown.' he thought privatly, "yes lord amekage." he said sincerly and nodded at his orders "We're fine by the way." he added, he turned to face the stranger he and kouga were assigned to escort "Come with us, the towers this way." he said to the stranger and gestured the way out of the festivale, he then led him away from the stage and exited the festivale grounds.

[Shikaku]

Kouga's eyes widen as a result to the Amekage's orders. Kouga didn't like the tone of his voice. Nonetheless, Kouga knew where he was coming from and the situation he was in. Listening and following his orders, Kouga simply nodded as he turn his head to face the kid and had a look of annoyance and slight anger in his face. "We have orders to take you to the tower and wait for the Amekage to come. Come and follow us now." Ordered Kouga as he headed out the exit with Zag. (Exit)

[Saiyuki]

A rather interesting situation, but also a depressing one as well.

"I'm fine Hiro."

Seion stared at the remains of the former Amekage. He was quite surprised that something like this would happen. He shook his head. Blunt murder, in the open, and here on all days. It seemed that Muteki did not have much patience. He wondered how hectic the current Amekage was feeling at the moment. He gave a soft sigh. This place had changed so much, but bloodshed was still here, as if it were a curse. He looked at the situation. It seemed that a friend of Koga had arrived and now Muteki and him were aruging. He noticed Kazuya giving orders to two shinobi and did not feel like sticking around to see what would happen. He shook his head and proceeded to leave after saying his good bye to Hiro.

"Hiro, I'll see you some other time. My mood is not the best as of the moment. See you around."

[Jason Arilani]

Jason listened to the words from the one who stole Koga's stuff. He was not pleased with what was said, but did not respond at the words as the Kage spoke and told them both to stop. When he was asked to go to the tower with the two, Jason nodded. But before leaving, he turned and said "Believe what you want, Former Amekage."[/color] He then followed the two, but not before bending down and removing Koga's rain headband and taking it with him.

"No, you will stand down now, both of you. You may be a Kage of old, however the way you are acting is uncalled for. I will deal with this, go."

Kazuya’s words echoed into Muteki’s ear. It was true he thought the forcefulness would serve Kazuya, as well as Ame well…but not in this case. Turning from the boy he had been insulted by, and rounding on Kazuya he was now face to face with Kazuya. Stretching out his right index finger, and using the rock hard digit to poke into Kazuya’s chest, he began quietly voicing words to Kazuya. Quietly, but with the most foreboding tone imaginable.

“Know this Kazuya, I am treating us as equals. Never make the mistake that I am your subordinate. I’ve fought just as long as anyone for Rains freedom, and have done much more in my time on this earth then most people have done in lifetimes. I admire your forceful words, and your ability to stand up to those who you wish, but be cautious. There is a fine line between forceful and disrespectful, and an equally fine line between life and death. Perhaps the gifts I have acquired are best not entrusted to you at this time.”

With his overpowering words echoing forth, Muteki turned and strode away, his cloak fluttering in the breeze behind him.

"Just learn to control that temper!" Kazuya would shout after him, none too concerned with what was said at the time being. He had much to do, many questions to ask. Of course he knew those words to be truth, Kinz was an equal, in that moment he had acted as if he was a simply brash academy graduate. Clicking his tongue softly, he would raise a singular seal before himself and smirk. As the wind kicked up, his Kage robes would be gently brushed by the wind before he vanished within a burst of Rain.

[Kumo Kouba]

Mare heard the whisper that came from the wind. It was Syoara and she wanted me to stay put... until the event was over. There was also a slight chance that the girl next to him also overhead what she said... but he wasn't exactly sure. "So... your a sand master... same with me" he said with a slight smile. Then the event was over... "I guess its time for me to leave" he said as he walked back into the shadows.

An interesting turn of events, per say; and I did not plan to stick around. Muscles tensed as I erupted myself in motion, dissapearing from the festival completely.

Watching the events unfold around her, Kaori simply stood, watched, and listened, but there was to be no more bloodshed here. A former Amekage had already been killed and the entire thing was still left a mystery as far as the Kaguya could tell. Everybody was making their leave, but she stood and waited, watching everybody formally exit. The crowd of regular citizens dispersed for the most part; different cliques and groups stayed to discuss, but all the shinobi were gone. Kaori sighed slightly. Ame still had a lot of trouble ahead of it. Who would be there to solve these problems? She was beginning to think maybe she should simply take over this wretched place.

With that thought lingering in the back of her head, she made her own exit of the scene.
