A Reservation (MBIS Private thread)

[Mikuru Uchiha [~Miko]]

Mikuru made her way to Mitsubachi where she'd reserve a specific hotel. If the other agents had shadowed her movements well then they'd be able to arrive here where rooms were reserved for them. Within her own room she'd rest down her items and make sure that their uniform though official looking did not imply they were shinobi (how preposterous...they were civilians to begin with). She'd be leaving her pouches... as sad as it was. She'd however be armed with her newfound Mateki (Main) as well as exploding tags x4 (1 slot), 2 Trench Knives (x2 slot), two smoke grenades (1 slot) and one light bomb (1 slot).

At long last, Mikuru was ready to get on the case!

Upon entrance to Mitsubachi, Reuna had spotted the presiden and leader of their investigation, Mikuru. She'd follow her from the shadow silently, wondering if she'd already found a lead or figured something. This shadowing of her step would continue on until a hotel was reached. She'd wait outside for a few moments, until she heard the same set of step exiting. Quickly disappearing, she'd see her leave again.


Curiosity would over take her as she decided to head inside to see what was going on. As soon as she did, she'd find out that their had been a room preserved for her, and the other agents here. Once she made her way to her room, she'd removed any excess equipment that might get in the way or make her seem suspicious and shinobi like. Hardly. The items she'd remove were her crafting tools, and her whip. Of everything else, she only have on a pair of tactical gloves, three kunai (three slots), two knives (two slots), and a kodachi. The business taken care of, she'd leave and proceed to the scene, or what would be the seen

The mission was complete but the case itself had expanded into a whole new world, far beyond the simple case of stolen goods. It involved a plot to recover a whole hidden village from the brink of mediocrity but perhaps there was still more to it than what was discovered. Regardless key information was acquired and kept on her person, along with Akuyama conveniently in tow. Capturing the leader of this group of thieves was in itself a defining accomplishment and the best way to debut the Moyoushi Bureau of Investigations and Security- Code Name: Dawn.

The group had solved a case the original Security Force failed to do which added a nice platform to her speech when she'd have her Inaugueration. Yes, Mikuru was always looking to benefit from her various ventures and the benefit was laid out for her in many ways. They had become quite profitable from this case and surely there was still more profits to be had. Within the rather large hotel suite Mikuru would begin to accomodate the hostage by insuring she was thoroughly underwraps.

It started with completely undressing the jounin leaving her with just her undergarments. All weapons on her person were conveniently stored away with her own possesions. With her trench knives she'd carefully cut key tendons which would inhibit any sort of movement of those ligaments. Using the bed sheet, she'd make a makeshift lasso of sorts, carefully wrapping it around her neck and maintaining a releatively tight bow-tie (to prevent much oxygen from going through). This would allow the diva limited ability to speak, yet alone hit any musical notes. With the thirty feet of ninja wire in her possession she'd begin to tie up the songstress. One arm was firmly bent behind her back and broken for good measure. The other arm was tired towards the front with her hand rested along the shoulder. With any false move the wire could very well cut into her skin. The main points of said wire were linked to the center of the shoulder blades ( a point where hands can't reach) and to the lower right calf.

From here on out, Mikuru kept a hand closely to the lasso, witihin an instant she could tug and it would wring Akuyama's pretty neck. She'd await her MBIS agents settling down so they could make plans for their trip back home. There was a lot to discuss in order to wrap up the case.

Having left the mansion behind, Reuna pondered about her own doings. The usual nonchalant manner of her stride was lost as she actually began to think pretty intensely for a moment. Her slowing stride was due to the recent fights of the day. Sure, she knew the moment she began traveling from Moyoushi even before this mission, that there'd be fighting. However, she never thought that such opponents existed as what she encountered.

The sun still glinted off nearby signs and polished objects in the vecinity. It was mid afternon by this time. The concert must have consumed much more time than she'd thought, for it was not the next day and yet, she'd not slept at all, or even eaten a thing. These were concerns she'd normally worry about, but not now. She'd almost died today at the hands of something that was terribly hard to defend against. In all truth of conflict, how did one combat sound? Surely, it would be impossibly to fight with a whole sense dead.

Her ears were still sensitive now as she'd been defeaned earlier for a while. It was too early to tell if she had some kind of permanent hearing problem and if there was serious damage done to her eardrums. And it annoyed her that she'd become consciously aware of every sound about her now, cautious as if any one of those random sounds could turn against her and attack with great gusto. These were not even the sounds to normally cause a human great pain and discomfort. No, these were simply sounds like the wheeling of a cart, the ringing of a doorbell as children came back home to the mothers, or ... simply the shuffling click of her own feet.

Yes, she was spooked. But she'd have to deal with her own dillema at another time. She'd quickly approached the hotel where Mikuru had made them reservations, even with her slow pace. Even if she didn't have a case to continue working on, she still had a number of goods to pick up that she'd left earlier on in the day.


Thus, as she passed through the door and spoke with the hotel keeper, she shook the feelings from her body and continued on as if she were fresh as ever. She could collaspse safely in her bed and ponder what ought to be done once she got there in Moyoushi. The Suite in question was already in use by Mikuru, who'd already gotten their prisoner situated by the time she'd arrived. She'd go to her own private room and re equip the items she'd previously removed, taking the time to situate them with the ones she'd gained in the mansion.


Once finished, she'd move back to the main room where the prisoner and Mikuru were. Once all the other agents had arrived, she'd inquire about their leaders findings. All the while, Reuna would wonder just how large had this arc grown.

“Hrm..”

A soft moan escaped the young agents lips as he made his way towards the hotel. Blood lust within him had built to the point of overflowing, however nothing had satisfied this beyond tearing down the building. Perhaps when they were done with the woman he would be allowed to end her miserable existance. The thought put a smile on Sai's face as he placed his hands into his pockets and turned the street corner. This was the place she had come to, Mikuru had fled faster then he had been able to finish the demolition however he was able to track them here. “Pretty place..” he spoke quietly as he entered.

Entering the room slowly, Sai would stare at Jounin with nothing but blood lust in his eyes. Of course he was focusing on the case, however the thought of exploding her insides unto the room was also quite appealing. After moments of fighting with that idea, he would chuckle and have a seat. “..alive. Too bad..” he spoke through a yawn as he nodded indicating the prisoner. “..did we get it then? Not that I'm complaining.. that was fun..” he started to speak only to stop himself. He'd realized that perhaps he should just wait, rather then question.

With the mansion demolished, Akuyama captured and the other band members defeated or otherwise the mission was complete. The agents were booked at a local hotel before their departure back to Moyoushi. Though Shen already a doctor, the title agent had a good ring to it. "MBIS Agent Dr. Kaguya, Shen" BUt this acheivement was more than well-earned. Shen couldn't have done this alone. And if he wanted to ever attempt such a feat again he needed to be ready.

He entered the hotel with these nonchalant thoughts racing in his head. He seemed calmer than the others as Shen met up with Reuna, Sai and Mikuru and the incapacitated Akuyama. Mikuru had further disabled Akuyama in many ways for what Shen could see. Though he was a doctor, he wanted no hand in treating any of the wounds of the Sound Jounin. Everyone was somewhat hurt from the battle but nothing some rest and relaxation could cure.

[Genju Kaishin]

His movement was slowed but he still managed to keep up, Genju leaving his piano outside the hotel as he followed the group in. The leader after all said he could follow. He and his clone followed the group to their hotel room but that was all. He simply needed to know where they were staying so he could come back later.

He needed to sell the piano and get his wounds taken care of, so as quick as he entered he left. The pain that had threatened his every step now a dull ache, his body growing accustomed to it.

Genju returned a short while later by himself, his clone and piano gone. Finding the room he had seen the leader enter earlier, he knocked three times. From the way she held herself and gave commands, one would thing the girl would be the leader. Knocking at the door Genju would call out, "Excuse me miss, it's the Yuki ninja from the mansion. Do you have a moment?"

Genju would enter the room if she offered. She said there was more to this case and Genju had his own information that agreed with her assessment.

A new guest had appeared, though it was actually an unlikely ally in the form of the snow ninja. It was wise of him to accept the invitation to join the MBIS Agents gathered. There was plenty of information which needed to be decoded about the case. Mikuru looked to the entrance and with her free hand motioned for the snow ninja to come inside.

"Please lock the door behind you Yuki-nin. Once you're settled I'll begin to share the information."

Mikuru's eyes began to glance over the room and once he was settled she'd begin to speak about the case.

"This case stems from desperation. The Five, a band consisting of five sound jounin initiated their tour around the lands. Apparently this was influenced by a meeting with a man from mist who claimed to be able to help Sound. Our little diva here took to this man's woes easily. It's safe to conclude she truly wanted what was best for her village. Of course, stealing from the various nations surely isn't the "best" thing for Otogakure."

Mikuru paused for a moment looking specifically to the Yuki-nin present.

"After all, wouldn't Yukigakure be very displeased with otogakure? I can say for sure that our little city is very upset that this happened. When they find out that it was related to Sound our relations will be affected. More importantly, we have to ask ourselves the importance of these items. The documentation that was present within the mansions chambers didn't give any leads to the objective but it was considered a 'mission' of sorts."

Taking the time to gently caress the cheek of the captive, Mikuru concluded her assesment of the case.

"While I believe everyone is due for some rest back home, ultimately we'll need to meet up again and head to Mist to find this man who was pulling all the strings. Otherwise another spree of robberies could occur from another backwater village. Yuki-nin, can we have your name? We'd like to let our city know of the one who fought bravely with us. It also helps us to get contact with you for future work on this case. That's it for now, was anyone able to retrieve something that was stolen? I myself retrieved Moyoushi's precious artifact."

Ending the wrap-up of the case, the focus was now more of an open-table discussion. Each person present would be able to comment on the case from their point of view, ultimately it would allow them to build a unified experience. Regardless the return home would be sweet and hopefully quick. They had been on the case for so long, the feeling of home sickness wasn't out of reach.

OOC: After everyone posts, lets all return to our respective places. No need for a Post order to head back to Moyoushi / Yuki. Just be sure to jump in with a long post to contribute as this is extending plot for us =D Oh and sorry this took so long. -_-;

Whilst the Yuki nin adjusted himself and got comfortable Reuna would regard him closely, trying to judged how much of a future ally he might prove to be. Yuki was a snow nation far to the north east, which she'd never actually been to before. Every base opinion she would hold if they did future business together would be judged solely off of him. Thus far, it was a very messy, sloppy first impression, limping in wounded, bleeding and half dead, but still a good impression. He'd been quite brave in his attempts at their former opponents. Though now, it seemed things had calmed drastically, and he had healed himself. He definitely could see him as more presentable now, and could perhaps let her opinion of Yuki improve a bit.


As she observed the Yuki nin very posture and self composure, she'd listen intently to Mikuru who had the most info on the case out of the group. Fortunately, she'd been able to recover one of the artifacts, even with that banshee of a girl at her throat in the dark. "I'm pleased to report that though it seemed they did a good job of splitting up the artifacts, I managed to recover one. The lady I combated had this once she was slain by me." At that point, she'd rummage though her clothes and pull out a single odd shaped object. Presenting it for all to see, she'd say, "The Crown of Jhysta, I believe. Was this not stolen from the City of Dante?" Turning her head to the Yuki nin, she raised an eyebrow as she asked him a question. "Yuki nin, which artifact was it that you were after now? I remember you asked about a Tricu. Does that mean your target got away? And what about the artifact? Did he get it as well?"


Her face never lost the nonchalant edge and her voice did the same, likewise staying indifferent to the whole situation. Her body nestled on edge of a bed, her feet dangled and swung slightly the whole time as everyone conversed. She was getting quite tired of this place, and longed for the sweet tranquility that was Moyoushi. Though it didn't show on her face, her idling body movements could easily be written as her cat like demeanor continued.

Shen listened closely tp the words of their president as she broke down the story behind their opponents. The story was far from over as "The Five" had someone pulling the strings behind their fates. Shen stayed silent even though Mikuru mentioned his home, the Water Country.

Mikuru now asked if anyone recovered any other stolen artifacts. Shen remained silent. Reuna had recovered something and began pressing the Snow-Nin if he had recovered something. Shen felt this was the time to speak his mind.

"From what our president is saying we might run into another even further advanced ninja. Before now, we were all either regular citizens not trained in the ninja way. I feel we all should become on an equal footing with the ninja. By either learning their secrets or finding something equal to their strength. Our teamwork is great but it will only get us but so far."

Shen hoped he had encouraged the group to get stronger. He needed to learn the ninja arts or even train his own abilities.

[Genju Kaishin]

Genju locked the door behind him as he made himself comfortable inside the room, sitting a welcome relief to his sore body. He would be hurting for a while to come but the doctor had done an admirable job. His outfit still looked a mess but he was presentable. Leaning forward, Genju would listen as the woman who had welcomed him began speaking.

At the mention of Yuki's reaction to Oto, Genju merely nodded his head. It would be something for the Yukikage to decide but the Five being from Oto would no doubt hurt relations between villages. Genju waited for the woman to finish speaking before he responded to her last question.

"Oh sorry, where are my manners," Genju said. "My name is Genju Kaishin and I would be happy to join you for the completion of the case. Umm, let's see."Pausing a moment, Genju thought it through saying, "Send word to the Snow Capital and they'll be able to pass it along to my village, unless of course you know where the Snow Village is." Genju had a thought but held it as another female began to speak.

Genju let part of a sigh escape before stifling it as the young girl began pressing him on artifacts and Tricu. This would be a sore subject and he did not look forward to his report back in the village. "I'm looking for the Ring of Cabana, stolen from the Snow City Capital. I don't suppose one of you have it?" though he doubted it, his gut saying Tricu made off with it. "As for my opponent, Tricu, he escaped with an artifact if he indeed had one. I never got a look at him but I can tell you his style. He enjoyed hiding in shadows playing a piano to cast his Genjutsu. Tricu likes traps as well, managing to blow up the entire room, followed by flooding the entire room, rotating floors and using trap doors. I never managed to get near him and I can only surmise that he escaped through a secret door. If there is a mysterious mastermind from Mist, then he has probably gone to join him. When I find him again, he won't escape me."

His conviction burning brightly, a realization dawned on Genju as a man began speaking. When he finished Genju had a number of things to ask. "Sorry, I may have forgotten" began Genju feeling the waters, " but may I have your names?" Genju had figured the lady who gave the most detailed report to be the leader but what was she president of? "Oh and what organization do you work for?" Genju said facing their leader. "It's obvious your not normal civilians but your lack of headbands say your not from a ninja village either." Genju leaned back in his chair, wanting to hurry home to Snow but intelligence always came first.

The young agent would say nothing as he adjusted himself quietly, the heavy gourd in his back weighed a ton. His face would be a blank mask as he listened, the task was complete therefore he no longer held much care for the case. When asked for a name however he'd remain silent, he did not care to speak with the snow shinobi or let alone exchange pleasantries.. he hated Shinobi. "When do we depart?"

The group was now sparked into good conversation concerning the case. Noticing the questions of her first MBIS Chief, Mikuru was pleased. It cemented the decision she had come to based on each individual candidates performance and strength. Definitely worthy of being an agent, though she'd love to have seen some more of it. Of particular note in her mind was Kikkawa Sai whom seemed to share her own bloodlust. Just at the thought she felt her free hand caress the cheek of Akuyama before trailing a sole finger along the key vitals of the neck.

"Hmm, yes...soon Sai-kun, soon you can spill this lovely ladies blood."

It was Shen's words that snapped her out of the small world she was in. He spoke of an inevitable truth, one that she went and did research on first hand. Essentially she herself became a kunoichi of Kumogakure, a Chuunin no less! It reminded her that she was due back to finish business there. Though what was important was training the MBIS to handle ninja tactics and to develop their own strength away from that dreaded world. She'd need to word her response carefully since they were in the presence of a shinobi but Mikuru was one to be upfront unless she needed to act otherwise.

Meanwhile the snow ninja had provided details regarding his enemy. Like much of the Five, he too was a genjutsu specialist whom attacked from far using Sound as a medium. His reliance on traps meant that he needed to be taken out of his element in order to subdue him. Such an enemy would easily pose problems to a close range fighter. Perhaps Genju Kaishin was just such a fighter. By his family background she could tell that he originated from her home country. Though she didn't really consider much of it and the fact this warrior was a snow ninja proved he didn't either. Still, he had asked some interesting questions...one that deserved some answers.

The President-Elect's eyes locked onto his own before speaking. She also took into careful consideration Sai's lack of words. He was rather stoic and more than likely a bit home sick or just sick of the area.

"It's true that the young men and my dear maiden are not oridinary civilians...anymore. Before they came here they were indeed ordinary civilians of Moyoushi City. Now, they have been reborn. As of right now they are...the Moyoushi Bureau of Investigations and Security; Code Name Tenmei [Dawn]. The lovely Maiden is Chief 00."

Mikuru announced before pointing next to Shen.

"This is Agent 01."

She then gestured to Sai, "And last but not least, our silent hero Agent 02."

She then feigned a look of surprise, as if she seemingly forgotten something.

"...Oh and as for myself. I am the woman who will soon rule Moyoushi City but out here you can call me Shiraha."

She flashed a sweet smile before standing up. She soon hauled Akuyama's body up, carrying the diva in bridal fashion. The most important question was asked by Sai in the end.

"When do we go home...? We leave now of course."

As if Mikuru would allow them to rest outside of their home. Thus she moved towards the door. It took some careful weight manipulation to handle the door but it was unlocked and before long the President-Elect was off.

Genju thanked the leader and nodded to the others in the room. He had the information he needed and hopefully if they found a lead, they would get back to him. In the meantime, he felt exhausted and merely wanted to get home, mentally plotting out his route. He had been gone a long time. Hopefully he had not missed much. As he stood up and turned towards the door, he wanted to say one last thing.

"Farewell Shiraha and the rest of you. Best of luck to your security force and I look forward to working with you again." Genju bowed and made his way to the exit, making sure he remembered the faces of everyone he met. He failed in some ways but the mission was not an entire wash. With thoughts of his village, Genju made his exit.

A brief nod was the only indication she'd given in acknowlegement of Mikuru. And thus it seemed time to return home, at long last. "Good bye Genju." A brief shadow of a smile graced her lips as she passed out of the hotel. Whether it was because of their meeting, her new station, or just going home, only she'd really know.

Yawn.

Sai turned with the flutter of his cloak, a single sleeve missing from the garment. He wasn't sure what had happened to the coat he wore or when he'd lost the sleeve, however he much liked the look of a one sleeved trench coat. Turning to take his leave, he'd glare at the Snow Shinobi who'd done so as well before heading out of the door. It was time to go home.

"Agent 01",

His name within the MBIS. Who couldn't respect that. Though the MBIS was only three strong or two members strong excluding their newly instated chief. But nonetheless Shen was now an agent. But a fear overshadowed him... what if he stood against as enemy like Akuyama once again. Like he commented in the meeting, it was a fear that could be realized soon. As they all soon departed. Shen would leave quickly but with many thoughs in his mind.
