Effect: A specialized flute in which is used to allow the user to create devastating power from within the item. The flute is used for techniques to distort an opponent by using the knowledge of Sounds.

Drawback: The flute costs a pretty penny, and takes time in order to learn all of the strong techniques within the weapon. The weapon is somewhat strong but with a good blow against the flute the flute is capable of breaking.
Description: A somewhat long flute that is made out of steel. The flute is usually known to be of glossy sliver color. The length of the steel flute is thirty to thirty-five centimeters, while the width is five centimeters. A small tie is tied around the flute as just a simple design to keep the flute somewhat of a delicate feeling. A picture can be found here.

Kasama is generally fairly perceptive and curious. He has a particular interest in what other people are thinking, and is usually fairly emphatic, but he can frequently cross the line into rudeness. He has a calm and focused demeanor, making it difficult to get him frustrated or upset, which can either be a strength or a weakness depending on the situation. Although he's generally a moral person with the good of others in mind, Kasama has a sadistic streak and is not beyond torturing his opponents if he needs too. He doesn't care much for the fact that he's blind, or if other people note it, seeing it more as a constant reminder and a boon to his abilities more than a crutch. He tends to be more withdrawn than his adopted brother Denkou, and tends to depend upon to get about several simple tasks that have become difficult with his blindness.Appearance:

Physically, Kasama is quite typical of a boy his age; a lean, athletic body of typical height. The ubiquitousness ends with the blue headband covering his eyes. He is quite clearly blind, but seems to have no issues operating as a normal human being, even showing surprising reflexes where others eyes would have failed them. He wears a light green tunic that goes about midway down his arms. his right arm is bandaged up to his knuckles, and his left has a pendant wrapped around his wrist. Slung around his back is a sheath resting sword-style, but it instead holds his flute. His pants are roughly the same color as his tunic, but made of sturdier material. They come down a little about the ankles, making them look a size too small. He wears typical shinobi foot-gear, with his feet bandaged up under his pants. His kunai pack is strapped too his left leg. On his left arm he has wrapped his father's bloodied headband.

Effect: With this technique the user is capable of performing Jutsus that deals with the type of perception of Figment kind.

Drawback: Without this the user is unable to perform Jutsus dealing with the Figment Perception.
Description: Figment Perception creates a false Sensation. When a Figment Technique is perceived everyone feels the same thing, there is no alter, or different versions of a technique from person to person. This means that if a user performs a Figment Perception on a group, everyone feels the exact same Perception. With a Figment Perception if a user wishes to create an affect such as speech, the user must pick the speech first in order for it to speak or else no audible speech will be heard. If intelligible speech is possible, it must be in a language the user can speak. This goes the same with images, a user cannot create an image unless the user knows the image. User can only create figments out of two sensory, sight and sound. Figments cannot cause damage to objects or creatures, support weight, provide nutrition, or provide protection from the elements. Figments are pure illusions, used for distractions, confounding, or delaying enemies. This is not a mind affecting perception.

Description: Phantasm Perception creates a mental image usually only the user and the opponent (or opponents) of the technique can perceive. These are considered to be as personalized techniques that affects the opponent's mind. These techniques could be messages, dream stopping, complete disarray techniques. Phantasm Techniques are known to harm the person's mind, making them feel weaker, harming them through the perception of the mind but not with real life effects. Phantasm techniques are all in their heads, and are known to make people go crazy. Third parties viewing or studying the scene do not notice the phantasm. All phantasms are mind-affecting Jutsus.

Effect: A technique that brings those that hear into a deep trance, the trance takes them into a world of different proportion. One who feels they know this very world would be brought forth in a world where great tortures may occur. By how one plays the Mateki, they are capable of mixing and messing with the very senses of the brain such as sight, smell, and touch, creating a figment by using sounds, and a harsh like melody.

Drawback: The Drawback of this very technique is that this technique is a prerequisites for many other types of techniques to which brings those into a different realm in a state of mind. Without this technique the other melodies are useless. In order to learn C-rank techniques, one must have the C-rank version of Mayko no Ran. In order to learn B-rank techniques and higher, one must have the B-rank version of Mayko no Ran.

Effect: Creates the illusion of one thousand flute players; specifically, the user.
Special: Flute melody.
Drawback: Only usable for three turns. Pain will end the jutsu, as will kai.
Description: A supplementary technique, this Genjutsu allows the user to fill any amount of space with an large amount of clone-like images of the fluter-player. These clones cannot talk, cannot move, nor use any sort of jutsu. When touched they will simply fade away soundlessly. This is moreso used as a diversion so that flute player can escape, though more skilled users have learned to use it as a way to mask their presence and blend in with the "crowd".
Limit: Figment Perception, Sound Release, Mateki, and Makyo no Ran (War of Evil Men).
Mateki: Hyoukai Nikutai (Demonic Flute: Melting Flesh).

Skill: Genjutsu.
Effect: A Genjutsu which makes traps the victim in a great state of pain, as if their flesh is melting from their body, restricting their movement.
Special: Flute melody.
Drawback: This technique can be canceled out by inflicting great pain upon the victim.
Description: When the sounds enter the opponent, that is when the "worldy" figure begins to appear. A numerous amount of wires shoot up from the ground as they wrap around the opponent creating a grand restriction of movement. As this occurs the flesh of the opponent then begins to melt off the of the opponent. The Flesh slides down along the wires as the muscles then begins to melt off as well from the very opponent.
Limit: Phantasm Perception, Sound Release, Mateki, and Makyo no Ran (War of Evil Men).
Mateki: Mugen Onsa (Demonic Flute: Infinite Fear).

Effect: Fills the victim(s) with uncontrolable fear and doubt.

Drawback: The effect only lasts as long as the user plays the flute, and for a maximum of five posts. The song does not descriminate against friend or foe, only the flutist is uneffected.
Description: The doubt and fear the fill the victim(s) causes then to question their every action, as well as making their attacks much less effective due to the fact that they doubt it will be worth it at all, thus it is much easier for the flutist to successfully incapacitate the victim(s) of the Genjutsu; since they will fear and doubt that doing anything would help at all.
Limit: Phantasm Perception, Sound Release, Mateki, and Makyo no Ran (War of Evil Men).
Ichuu Fue (Moving Flute).History:

Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: Allows the user to play their songs while moving.

Drawback: The user can only play the songs corresponding with the level learned of this technique.
Description: In order to increase the effectiveness and range of their songs, some flutist have learned how to literally move about (walk, run, jump, etc.) while playing. This requires a great amount of concentration, thusly a user who is not proficient with this will not be able to play the more complicated, harder songs; even if a master of the mateki tries to play one of their powerful songs and does not properly know how to move, it will fail. Upon learning the c-rank version, the user is capable of move while playing c-rank songs; upon learning the b-rank version, the user is capable of moving while playing b-rank songs; upon learning the a-rank version, the user is capable of moving while playing a-rank songs; upon learning the s-rank version, the user can move while playing s-rank songs.
Limit: Must own a mateki.
Kasama was born a normal child, nothing peculiar about him except for his remarkable musical talent. Rather than dreaming of being a great ninja or the kage of the village, Kasama's passion was music. Kasama was a child prodigy, excelling at the flute, his preferred instrument, and by the age of seven was already figuring out how to mold some sound chakra into his music to give it more passion and emphasis.
His dreams came to a crashing halt at the age of eight, when his family went on a vacation to the wave country. While in transit, they were attacked by a team of skilled assassins - Kasama's father was a Jonin and was in the bingo book - and killed everyone save his mother and himself. Unfortunately, he was left blinded by the event.
After words, Kasama began to grew bitter for a while from the loss of his father and the blindness that was the result of these unknown ninja. His father had taught him some basics of nindo, and he was fairly good at manipulating sound chakra, so he drove himself to become a ninja to replace his father and protect his family. Thanks to much help from the village and his new adopted brother, he taught himself to "see" the world around him by using a sort of echo location born from his innate musical aptitude and his manipulation of sound chakra. It operates much the same as normal sight, with the exception that he cannot perceive color.
Kasama, after training for seven years to transition his music into a weapon, can use the sounds of his flute to produce effective genjutsus, working to render his opponents ineffective. He works to perfect this art, seeing it as the ultimate extension of his talents. He still has difficulty with some parts of ordinary life, like reading, but his brother and best friend Denkou is there to help him along.
