When the user attacks the user may hit a part of the body. If the user makes skin contact with the rose the seeds are then implanted into the opponent's skin as they lay dormant. Afterwords the user performs handseals to control the seeds. The seeds found inside the body of the opponent burst out sprouting all through the opponent's body. The Rose seeds then feeds off of the opponent's body till finally there was nothing left as the stems and roots found in the roses constricts all around inside the opponent's body before exploding creating a bush garden of roses found on the floor.

Ishi would slowly walk into the small area she had chosen to train in. Sea country was well and truly beautiful, the air clean and clear from it being near the well, sea, of course. Gulls flew around the place, attempting to find food, and the constant smell of nice days at the beach rolled back on her, as if she was right near the water, smelling the h20 which was all around them. The salt in the air was quite nice, different to the leaf, but quite nice in it’s own weird, special way.
Ishi had only been to the beach once before, and that was when she was young, although she couldn’t remember much about being there. Here in sea country, the water surrounded the island she was on, so there wasn’t really any way to escape the nice breeze which was surrounding her.

She would slowly inhale the salt in the air, thinking for a few moments. Was the air so salty that it never snowed here? Probably, since it would just melt it. Ishi had only seen snow a few times, so she wasn’t quite sure about how it would be if you had just seen snow for the first time in your life. She figured here that no snow would fall.
Would it be like summer all year round then? Hm. ”I wonder..” she murmurs, thinking about the subject. Inhaling the air r wasn’t as salty as when you’d accidentally swallow some sea water. Ishi would know, since she had done that many a time on accident before, whenever she went paddling in the ocean she always managed to do that, as annoying as it got.

She would need to begin learning this technique by using around.. four techniques first? Hahaha.. it was a long process, yes, but the outcome would probably be great. Ishi was currently situated on an earthy patch of land, near a beach.
She could see the sea rolling in constantly, and then rolling back, the foam leftover from the sea appearing on the sand, and then seemingly dissolving. She would smile at the sight, not seeing this sight at the leaf that much. All she saw was trees, trees, trees and more trees, and the occasional river or lake- Although, she hadn’t seen a lake for a while. Lately, she had been training her water techniques on puddles alone.

The grand leaves of the palm trees swayed in the pleasant breeze which roamed around the area. Looking up at them, she would think. Were coconuts at the top? Grinning, she would examine the trees, narrowing her eyes down to try and see. It seemed as if... there were no coconuts there at the moment. Ishi would sigh lightly. She felt like eating some coconut at the moment. Having not tried it in a while, she had forgotten what it tasted like, but knew that it had a sort of creamy taste to it. Ah well, she would have to look around for them, and if she could find some, she would bring them back to the Leaf.. and begin her own plantation of coconut trees! Bahahah!

”Or is it illegal..” the young red-head murmurs, thinking deeply as she looks at the large leaves, which continued to sway. Ishi had no clue as to if bringing fruit and things from other countries were illegal or not, but hoped not, since having her own palm tree would be quite nice, but didn’t they have to be near water, and be in certain conditions to be able to grow? The leaf would hopefully be warm enough. It was warm most of the time anyway, hardly no rain except for a few times in the year. It was a nice place to live, although Sea country was both beautiful with it’s tropical plants, trees, and animals, and the beaches and the sea which stood nearby. Although Ishi was outside 98% of her time, she hadn’t caught a tan, the young girl was very, very pale, as if she had spent her life inside of a house.

She spent a few more minutes, just spacing out, letting the calm and relaxing aura of the place get to her. This would probably be a nice holiday spot- If people could afford it. By partaking in the Chuunin exams, she was able to come to this beautiful island, but at a cost, of course, that cost being her life, if she was unfortunate, but, Ishi would do her best in not dying in the exams. To be honest, she had too much to live for. Sure, she didn’t have a home, or a family, but she had friends at the leaf, and she wanted to become a stronger ninja, so hopefully she would be able to live this through, and go back to her homeland with a shiny new title to her name. Ishi Kishiko, B-Ranked Chuunin. It sounded quite flashy, but, she knew that it wasn’t that impressive to people who had already been given a Kage level or a Jounin level.

”Nhm.. Ishi Kishiko..” she would ponder her name, thinking about it. Her mother who had practically abandoned her at the first few seconds of seeing her, who had chosen her name? Her adoptive parents, probably. Maybe she had been planned to have another name, like.. Kasumi or something. Kishiko was the surname of the couple who had adopted her, who were happily married. So, if things hadn’t taken a turn for the worst when she was born, who would she be now? Would her personality be different? What would her name be? Those were one of the millions of questions which puzzled her, but she tried not to think about them, since they just steered her away from training and just made her space out all the time.

”You’re doing it again..!” she warns herself, shaking her head until she would awake. Spacing out was not good- Of course, it was okay for her health and everything, but not good in the way that it refrained her from training. ”Right.. to learn this I need to summon some seeds.. Use genesis.. And then manipulate the roses which I create in order to be able to use the seeds for this technique which I am to learn..” Upon giving herself a short briefing of her goal, she then nods, grinning, and prepares to begin. She would stretch her arms a little bit, holding her hands towards the sky for a little while, stretching. She would then stretch her legs a little bit, and finally begin, beginning form the handseals which were needed for the technique.

Dog, Boar, Monkey, Bear, Sheep. the handseals were weaved swiftly, her bitten fingernails a blur as she moves her hands quickly to use the weird sort of symbols which the handseals meant. She would then place her left palm on her right hand, as if she was cupping something, to keep it inside her hand. This was how she always made seeds, maybe she should change it so that she could just close her hand into a fist, and then do it? It would probably crush the poor seeds though, so that wasn’t a very good idea. She could try without using anything at all to cover her hand, but Ishi seemed to create more seeds if she covered it. Goodness knows why, but Ishi was just weird in that way, so she couldn’t really help it that much.

She channels a small amount of her chakra into the palm of her hand, and combines it with her knowledge of Mokuton, which would hopefully make her able to create seeds. It had worked the last times she had used it, so it would probably work now- Or so she hoped it would, that is. There was no saying that it wouldn’t work, of course. She just hoped it would though, since she really wanted to learn this technique, no matter how dangerous it was, it would probably be of use in the future, if she was in close combat- Or she could throw the roses like Kunai to make them stab into someone. That was a good idea, but it would be more effective to use in close combat, then there was a better chance at hitting the target.

She would then open her palm, and there, lo and behold, were five perfectly shaped rose seeds. Smiling at them, she would then plan on using her genesis technique to grow them. The seed and genesis were quite fantastic, to be able to create plant life by yourself. Sure, it was easy to just well, grow things, but only people with wood release could create their own seeds in the first place, and make them grow in seconds. It was interesting, and helped the environment too, she guessed. She had yet to learn how to create trees, though, so she would have to learn that soon, although she had no real reason to learn the B-Ranked technique, she could still learn it anyway, since maybe in some time she would need to create a time, although she couldn’t think of any situations where she would need that.

And the technique seemed to drain lots of chakra too if you wanted to learn it as a B-Rank, or so she had heard. She guessed that growing a tree was much more stressful and needed more power than to just learn how to bloom a flower, which was much well, similar than a tree. She was wondering as to if the amount of time she grew it would make it more powerful. Since the rings inside trees, if she grew them using a technique, would they still have rings? Since they were called.. age rings.. or time rings.. something along those lines they were, but she couldn’t quite remember. At her time on the farm, the only trees she would grow were apple or cherry trees.

But her days on the farm were now long, long gone. They had finished about two years ago when Hiroko had taken her in to teach her things, and she was glad of that, although she did usually have the urge to just plant random crops in the ground. Maybe she should plant some in her clearing.. When they would be harvested, she would be able to keep them to eat, which would be good. But she would still need to buy the seeds. It was too bad that she wasn’t able to make her own sorts of fruit or vegetable seeds that would be awesome- Actually, there would be no need to wait for growing, with the genesis technique she had.

”Now to begin the growing..” she murmurs, nodding, and then kneeling down into the earth which she was standing on. As you went south, Yours truly, could notice the earth slowly getting a sandy consistency, since it was then the beach. The sands looked nice and warm though, not boiling hot so that you couldn’t even sit on the beach, but it looked nice and well, pleasant to sit on. The sight practically lured her over there, although she knew that if the place was a holiday resort, she would probably be fined a bit of ryo or something just for sitting down, or she would be asked to book a holiday, so for now, Ishi stayed to the edges of the tropical jungle near her.

She would then narrow her eyes down at the earth, beginning to burrow tiny holes in it which were small, yet big enough to place seeds in and make them grow successfully. ”………” she would stay silent, placing the seeds one by one in the holes which she created, and then covers them with earth once more, smiling, she grins, and then begins to perform the technique. She needed to place chakra into the seeds to accelerate the growth of them so that they’ll be able to grow into the rose bushes that she would need to perform the technique. By placing her palms on the seed, she pushes some of her chakra into one of them, then moves to the next, and the next, etcetera, giving off a blue light as she does so, as then, quickly, green lines begin to sprout out of the ground, the plants were growing quickly.

Ninpou: Souseiki no Jutsu (Genesis)

Effect: Causes seeds to grow.
Special: Ram, Rat, Tiger, Snake, Dog, Ram
Drawback: Can only effect one seed at a time.
Description: A blue light envelops a seed and the user forces it to grow at a rapid pace.
Flowers are C rank growth; they grow within seconds and require little chakra in order to grow. Can grow inside the hand, but will die within thirty minutes if not placed into the ground.
Vines are C rank growth; they grow about 10m/second. One seed is capable of growing 100m worth of vines. Must grow inside the ground.

Trees are B rank growth; they grow within minutes, generally within one turn, but is dependant on the size you want the tree to be. Depending on how far you spur the growth process, it can require little chakra (to the growth of a sapling) or a large amount of chakra (growing into a fully-grown adult tree). If you grow it into an adult tree, it can produce fruit, etc., that are common with the type of tree you grow. Must grow inside of the ground.

The bush then begins to grow, as the stalks push up from the ground, as then spikes begin to form on them, along with buds, which she would hold when she would learn how to use the technique she was using. The goal of the dangerous technique she was learning was to manipulate the seeds in the rose, and to send them to the stalk, to the thorns maybe also, and then hit them against someone, the thorns would then pierce the skin, and send the seeds into the skin, then manipulate the seeds, to go around the foe’s body, then grow them to then make them sprout along the body of the foe, making them sprout around them, killing them. It would hurt quite a lot, Ishi figured, but still, it would be nice to die in a bed of flowers, right?

”Now to clip a rose off..” she murmurs, taking out a kunai, and clipping out a random rose, looking at it, and then nodding lightly, spinning the kunai back into her weapons pouch. She would then examine the rose. It looked nice and healthy, as she hoped it would be like. It turned out that growing them using her techniques were just like growing them normally, just well, less fast to grow. It would take time to look after a rose bush, growing it, nurturing it and pruning it when it got too big, but with this, she could just grow them straight away to her whim without having to spend ages perfecting the plant and making it well, pretty.

She grins at the plant, tilting her head and looking at them. She still found it morbid that well, roses could kill. With this technique that she was learning, it would be able to make roses grow under the skin, practically exploding them. Very morbid of course, since roses were usually a sign of love and romance, but with these they gave a very, very different message to the old meanings of what roses meant. She just hoped that well, this technique would be able to stop people from fighting, as well as kill, since she would like to use this in the Chuunins, but she would also like to use it, not to kill, but to just disallow someone from fighting-

Although young Ishi was sure that medics would have quite a hard time trying to remove.. a whole garden of roses from someone, that foe would probably have a lot of stitches, but would they be happy because they wouldn’t die? Ishi wasn’t quit sure how painful it would be to well, be hurt by having a rose garden sprout out of you, and she didn’t really want to know either, due to the simple fact that it didn’t sound very nice. But then again, who would want to grow a rose garden out of well, you? They would be eager to use it on someone else when they don’t know how bad the pain is to be hurt by having roses and thorns dig into your skin and nerves.


The idea made her feel slightly queasy, but she tried not to think about it, naturally because well, it wasn’t a very nice idea, really. If she did attack someone with the technique, how hard would it be to remove the roses? She figured a lot, since they would burrow under the skin, so you would need to open up the skin to remove them, resulting in having stitches. And what if they mess up the nervous system or something? That would be even worse. You could hurt them long term, not just short term. ”Nhmhm..” she murmurs, looking at the harmless bush of roses which stood infront of her. If only people knew what bad things could happen with roses, if used in the right hands, that is.
Not that the right hands would use this technique.

”Now is the time to make the rose into a useable weapon..”

[/color] she murmurs to herself, telling her what to do, because she had spaced out for the last few minutes, and that was no good if you needed to train, like Ishi desperately needed to do. She only had a few days, and most of it had been used already since she had been in that café- She would return there soon, it was a nice place to be, and it had quite a relaxing atmosphere, although some of the enemy villages’ nin were there, it wasn’t their fault if they were born in an enemy village..

And it wasn’t Ishi’s fault if she was born in the Leaf, right? They hadn’t fought there, thankfully, and Ishi diddn’t really want to fight, finding it useless and time-wasting.

Because, why did villages even turn against each other anyway? She didn’t really see the point of it, but guessed that some village somewhere had to be an enemy of some village somewhere else, or it would put the balance of nature out of hand. There was always someone you would hate wherever you would go, and there was no helping that. Maybe some villages just diddn’t like others or something, although Ishi still thought that things would be better if no-one fought and everyone lived in peace, but for others, fighting and war were exiting, and thrilling, Ishi knew there were a few people like that in the world. There had to be.

But Ishi herself was usually a quiet little bystander, and was more of a helper, not a fighter. If someone was ill or something, she wouldn’t kick them down and make them feel worse than they already are, she’d go and ask if they were alright. Fighting and everything wasn’t really that much for Ishi, but she knew that she’d need to fight, and maybe, if the situation went bad, kill to get the title of Chuunin which she was aiming for, although Ishi wouldn’t really try to kill anyone, unless there was a good reason why to, like if the person was trying to kill her in the first place. That’s the only time when she’d attack and kill.

Although she wasn’t quit sure if she was capable of killing. Sure, Ishi knew quite a few good techniques to do with killing people, especially the grass silencer technique which she had learned earlier back at the leaf, but she wasn’t sure if her consciousness would allow her to. Her hands would then be stained with guilt and the blood of her fellow nin, Leaf nin or not, and she wouldn’t be able to let herself live it down. But some people would just kill wherever they went, Ishi wasn’t sure how they could do that, knowing that they took someone’s life, and that some people in the world would be missing them right now, family, friends, children even. Shuddering at the thought, the memories of her adoptive parents came back.

They had been gone for a while now, and Ishi was thinking of the worst. Maybe they just fled the village, telling Ishi it was a mission to not make themselves appear guilty to her, or maybe it was a mission, but they were killed in the process. Ishi didn’t mind what it was, but just prayed they were safe, knowing that although they might have become missing-nin, they still took her in and looked after her, no matter of how big a burden she was. Tears began to well up in her eyes, but she wouldn’ t allow herself to cry, not here, not in the exams. Shaking her head, the tears disappear, as she then takes a deep breath, and relaxes again. She would spend this time trying to train, not crying.

Taking another deep breath, Ishi finally decided that it was time to train again. The tears in her eyes had let up, and now she was back on the ball again, ready to go. She would now need to strengthen the rose to make it able to well, fight as a kunai or a sort of blocking item. The rose weapon which she could create at the moment was really more like a kunai than anything else, having the capabilities of it, being strong, sharp and metal-like. If you would throw one of these roses into a tree, they would probably just stick in the bark, as if it had been flung at it at quite a speed. Grinning, Ishi looks at the rose which was now carefully held in her hand, and nods.

She then moves her hands a little bit, changing so that she was holding it now by the bud, and not carefully holding It around the stalk, since this was how the technique started, by holding the bud. She wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out if she would hold it another way, but guessed that it would, although the bud.. it was far less dangerous to hold it there, than hold it by it’s stalk, and she guessed that was why you held it by the bud, to refrain the person who is using the technique in the first place to get hurt, because they would be awful if you would, imagine being turned into a rose garden with your own technique! Eugh. That would be one embarrassing mistake to use, not that you’d have the time to be embarrassed afterwards since you would probably be dead, unless somehow you survived it.

”Now to start..” she mutters, nodding lightly, and then begins to perform the handseals which were vital if the technique should be used correctly. Those took about a second or two, and then, she begins to flow her chakra, and combine that with her wide range knowledge of the wood release skill- Although it wasn’t that much of a ‘wide range’ she just knew a few things from all different ranks of techniques, from A-Rank to D-Rank, although she wasn’t quite sure if she knew a B-Ranked wood technique. She had forgotten, but she knew she could use an A-Rank, since the grass silencer technique which she had learned before she left for the chuunins exams on the boat with her teammate.

She continues to flow her chakra into the rose, and attempts to make it stronger than it had been before. In order to use this technique correctly she needed the rose to be strong, and not weak. She would also need to use the rose whip technique also, in order to make it flexible. Looking around, she began to think about where she should train the technique, since she didn’t really want to train it on a living being, so she would have to train it on a tree or something instead, that would be best, although it wouldn’t have all of the effect that came with using it on a human, you know, the explode part, and the well, turning into a rose garden. Maybe roses would entangle the tree, and crawl up it’s bark, but Ishi wasn’t quite sure about that, so she would have to wait and see.

But at the moment, her main thought was to make the rose into a weapon like she had done before, of course. Although she had done this many a time now, she still found it weird how by pumping chakra into them, they could become like kunai or other weapons, then the thorns would become harder, and probably therefore become much more painful if you accidentally fell on a rosebush, like Ishi did when she was young- Although, thankfully the roses were normal, and not like these flowers of death which were able to be made when the user had control over wood- Control over wood? Wasn’t that also control over plants? Since there was no real wood in flowers.. or were there..?

The rose which she was holding then seemed to be given a sort of harness as her chakra was pumped into it. It seemed to be stronger to the touch underneath her fingers, and she couldn’t really squish the stalk anymore, it was rock-hard, like steel. Grinning, she then examines it turning it over and placing her hand on the thorns to see how spiky they were- Of course she just puts it on the edge of the thorn, not on top of it, since she didn’t really want to get stung by it, it would probably put her off her training if it would, and that was just no good, no good at all. Shaking her head, she takes her hand off the once-delicate little red rose which she was currently holding, and then looked at the sky for a few moments.

The clouds were white in the sky- Although, there weren’t many clouds about. The sky was blue, and looked as if rain wasn’t going to come here for a while now. The perfect little relaxation spot if someone was stressed or something, with the lovely warm sands and the warmth of the area hanging around like a blanket, and the constant relaxing sounds of the weaves hitting the sands, and the gulls flying about.. Screeching? Well, not so much the gulls, but the sound of the waves were nice, a natural sound which usually told you that everything was alright. Except for the sound of Ishi moving from one foot to the other, and the waves, and the gulls there weren’t really any other sounds to be heard. The small beach was in perfect harmony.

”This place is really nice..” she murmurs quietly, then turning her gaze to the sea, which was a deep blue in color. She was wondering if she went nearer to it, would you be able to see the coral reefs there? If there were any. Coral reefs were.. interesting, they housed dozens upon dozens of breeds of fish swimming around the multicoloured plants which also grew around. They could only be seen when the sea was clear- Or that’s what she had seen in holiday brochures, where the sea was practically transparent, and you could see the coral reefs underneath with a whole reef of fish and tropical water plants, which you usually couldn’t see in the leaf.

She expected the small island to have them, due to its luxurious sights, she figured that it did have one, naturally just because it had a perfect beach and jungle near it, a coral reef would be the icing on the cake- Although Ishi was slightly scared of some types of fish, having heard of some which looked like rocks, and if you would step on them you’d be injected with a deadly poison. She shudders at the thought of that, not wanting to do that, ever. So at the moment, from that thought she was put off paddling in the sea, not that she was planning to anyway. And the thought of sharks attacking her also seemed to wave her off wanting to mess about in the sea.

Thinking of sharks made her think of that boy who had been in the café, the one with white hair and grey skin. Oddly, he reminded her of a shark. She had heard of a certain clan which was around, which well, the beings in the clan had shark-like faces, but the boy that she had seen didn’t seem too shark-like, except for his spiky white hair and his grey skin. She had heard that most of them came from countries with sea, or plenty of water in them, like Kirigakure or Amegakure, due to well, being of that clan you probably dealed with water attacks, being part shark and all, and to use water attacks you would use water, and it wouldn’t be that great for you if you had to wait for every rainfall until you could use techniques, and even then, you wouldn’t be able to learn any of the bigger ones due to the simple fact that you probably needed more water to perform them.

”The perfect island..” Ishi would murmur, smiling as she watches some of the gulls dive down into the water, and probably pick up some fish or something which they would find swimming around in the water. Seagulls were common here, probably due to the fact that they well, usually lived where there were natural water sources, like rivers and seas. But you mostly saw them at seas, due to the obvious fact that ‘sea’ was in their name, so whoever would have named them probably saw them first near a see or something. And a gull.. was a type of bird, yes? So a gull seen near a see. That was easy to figure out. Ehehe. Grinning, she looks back at the warm sands, who still lured her towards them, but she knew that she needed to train, so no relaxing beach lounging at the moment for her.

Maybe she’d come back here later to laze around. After this technique she would probably be tired, and after the battles she would probably be tired also- If she would live- Wait, what was she thinking? Of course she was going to live. Ishi wouldn’t die, she didn’t want to, having too many things to get done in her life. How was she going to fulfil them if she wasn’t alive anymore? That would be quite impossible, unless she was reborn as something, but didn’t you lose all of your personality and memories then? Or, some religions thought that. Ishi wasn’t quite sure herself, and tended not to think about it because well, it was quite depressing, thinking about what happened when you died and all.

Ishi wouldn’t really mind being an animal, really, it all depended what kind of animal. It wouldn’t be that great to be born a cow or a sheep or an animal which humans hunted and ate, maybe it would be nicer to be reborn as a dog, since you were looked after- Most of the time, she had heard of people who mistreated animals, and Ishi thought that was unneeded and cruel to the animals- you were fed, and you could have adventures every day with your master, if you were a ninja dog. She knew of a clan which specialized in dogs, and people used them for attacking also, being sort of.. a team-mate to them. Since the animals could learn techniques too, if they were taught.

And you could also have special techniques to do with both the user and the animal. Ishi spend a lot of her time reading in the library- Or, she had been over the last year or so, learning of different styles of techniques, techniques themselves, and a few clans which resided in Konoha, and all around the world. She wouldn’t mind learning the ways of one or two clans, hey, maybe it’d actually turn out interesting. if she could grow fish scales or wing or something like that boy in the café who had a beautiful pair of black wings, similar to the ones which his cute pet raven had. She smiles at the thought, but wasn’t sure if anyone in konoha was able to use that, sure, it was a nice technique though, but not for Ishi, although she knew that it was probably very useful for the person who had them.

”Nhm..” she would then look back at the steel-like rose, smiling at it once more, wondering over it’s design and well, strength. Maybe she could use the thorns to cut bread. Hahah! But, sadly they weren’t big enough, and they would probably infect the bread with something if she would use them. Not very nice, really. Shaking her head once more, she grins, planning to use the next step of the technique. There wasn’t long to go until she would finally finish learning this technique- Of course, there was a real while to go, but still, there wasn’t that long, was what she was saying. The second exam would begin soon, and Ishi really wanted to learn how to use the technique before she would go, just encase she would need it.

”Right, now is time to use the whip technique..” the young red-head murmurs to herself, and continues to hold the rose by it’s bud, not wanting to accidentally stab herself with the thorns, which now, due to the fact that she was seeped chakra into the plant, they were slightly more dangerous now, and there was more a chance now that it would hurt more if thrown at someone. Shuddering lightly, she then begins to train once more, smiling to herself as she looks from the rose to the sun which hung in the air happily, beaming down it’s rays on Ishi and the jungle which stood near her, and of course the beach, which oddly had no people lazing about on deckchairs or on blankets. Maybe the sun was too strong for them today..

The day was very warm today, but, it was the type of warm that was.. very warm, but nice at the same time, not making you sweat until you would shrivel up or something. To be brief, it was a nice day, the sun was out, there were no clouds, and the sea rolled happily along the sands of the beach. A sight which you saw in travel booklets, in all it’s lovely natural glory. See, why do you need TV and everything when you could just watch this? It looks nice, and she betted that it would feel nice too, to walk around in the sea, splashing water about- Even though you would become salty from the experience, and sand might get stuck in-between your toes, and the risk of being pierced by a stone fish. Maybe it wasn’t that good of an idea after all. Ehehehe.

She then begins to concentrate on the rose which she was holding, not the scenery around her, even though it was oh-so beautiful, and could only be seen here, at the leaf. Maybe she should take a few pictures or something, but poor Ishi had no camera to take pictures with. Ah well, maybe next time. Narrowing her eyes down at the beautiful flower which she held in her hand, her index finger and thumb firmly clasped over the bud of it. She then continues to concentrate it, manipulating the chakra which she had placed in it so that she would be able to make it flexible. It took a little while to do this, mostly since her attention was dragged away from training and to the environment which was around her at the moment, but Ishi couldn’t help that, this place was different to her usual training spot.

Back in the leaf, her training place consisted of a large puddle of rainwater, which, every time it rained it seemed to get a little bit bigger, thousands upon thousands of oak trees- And many other types, although oaks were the most common in her little clearing, and bushes, while the earth was mostly dry, but in some places damp. Her clearing wasn’t that interesting, but here, in the Sea country, it was well and truly beautiful, the wide and clear ocean replacing the musty and small pool of water which she used for her training, the warm sand and earth replacing the dry ground, and palm trees replacing the oak trees which were around her back home. She didn’t mind these changes though, as long as she had somewhere to train, she didn’t mind.

Although Ishi would be willing to train wherever she went, may it be on land or on top of a large mountain. As long as the area was safe, she would train, train, train away to her hearts content. Maybe I ca- her attention was grabbed by the rose, which seemed to droop a little bit in a dead-like manner. Ishi then begins to wave the plant about, as it also moves along with her hand, like a normal plant would, it wasn’t dead of course, just more flexible than it was before. It was still strong also, being able to guard her from attacks, if used carefully, since If she used it in the wrong manner, she might just end up stabbing herself instead of a foe. And that wouldn’t be really awesome.

Now that the rose was flexible, now would be the time to use the technique itself. She would need to begin by forcing the seeds into the stem, to push them into the thorns. This sounded easy enough, although Ishi wasn’t quite sure how to do this. Should she do it physically, pushing the bud down with its seeds? Or use her chakra, which was already filling the rose, to bring the seeds down to the thorns? To Ishi, the second idea made the most sense, since she couldn’t force them into the seeds simply by pushing them down. Sinec her chakra was already in the rose, if she could manipulate the seeds and make them travel down the plant, and into the thorns, that would make much, much more sense, and it would refrain Ishi from being hurt by the thorns themselves also, so that was all good.

But was it the correct way? She had never tried this before, and hadn’t seen it be used, but she had read up on it, and it really sounded like a great technique, although she had figured that it would be slightly confusing to try and learn it. She would learn it on a tree, of course, as she had chosen, which was the large palm tree infront of her, which held no coconuts, unfortunately for young Ishi, who really wanted to try some of the fruit- Or, whatever it was. To Ishi, fruits were sweet and had soft skin, like a banana or a melon or a strawberry.. But coconuts were a whole different thing. Were they a fruit? Or a vegetable? She had no clue at all as to what the answer was, but they were edible, and sweet.. They probably were a fruit, since they couldn’t be vegetables, right?

If a coconut was a vegetable.. that would just be bizarre, and wouldn’t really make any sense, since vegetables were usually well, savoury-tasting, although sometimes onions tasted a little bit sweet.. But that didn’t count, in fact, all of this thinking didn’t count, she needed to concentrate! Not ponder about whether coconuts were fruits or not. Shaking her head, she then, with the rose in her hand then begins to continue concentrating, as she then manipulates the seeds which were found inside the rose, and makes them travel down the stem, and into the thorns, which then, if made skin contact, they could be sent into the persons body- Or, the objects body, or plants body, it all depended what you were using it on.

In Ishi’s current situation, it was a tree. She would then need to stab the metal-like rose into the tree, to and make the thorns stab into the bark so that she could begin to make the rose garden which she aimed to create. She didn’t quite understand how she could make the roses grow quickly though, since she didn’t need the genesis technique to perform this one, maybe she should just send a boost of chakra in? To help them grow? Yes, that was probably it. But at the moment it wasn’t the time to think about that, it was the time to throw the rose into the tree. Taking a deep breath, Ishi does so, swiftly bringing her arm back, and throwing it into the tree skilfully, as it lands with a few thorns digging into the bark in a painful manner.

”Right.. now to begin..” she would murmur, as she then plans her next actions. She would, next, need to move the seeds around the earth, and pass them through to the tree, to go inside the bark, where she would then begin to sprout them. Would she just need to make them exiting through the thorns, like some sort of bridge? Probably, since that’s how she imagined the technique to be like. Sadly, she had no instructor of some sort of teach her this, so she would have to figure this out herself, with no help from anyone, but, she was perfectly fine with that, of course, even though she wished that someone could help her along with a few things, bits which she didn’t understand.

[/color] the young girl murmurs quietly, understanding what she needed to do. It was a simple task, really- Or, it sounded easier than it seemed, that was probably it. She would probably try, but find it difficult. Shrugging, she grins, and then begins to try, concentrating on the seeds which she had placed in the thorns of the rose, and also concentrating on the bark of the tree. She would need to use the thorn as some sort of bridge, to send the seeds into the trunk of the large palm tree which was near her, and which would be her victim. Poor trees, Ishi usually trained on them, them or dummies, but Ishi didd’nt have a dummy with her at the moment unfortunately, so she would have to wait until she would be back home to train on them again.

But trees were good enough for her at the moment, really, anything was good for her, as long as it wasn’t a human begin. To train on humans.. Ishi thought it was slightly.. Morbid. Of course, she would be using some techniques on her opponents while in the exams, so she figured that she’d be ever so slightly morbid anyway, very morbid if she was forced to use this technique on someone, but the chances of that would be low, unless her opponent would really be trying to kill her in the battle. She knew that she should expect the unexpected while fighting, because she knew almost nothing about these people. The best guess she could make would be to examine them quickly first to try and figure out their profession, for instance you could easily spot a taijutsu master or specialist due to the muscles they had. Ishi was a specialist, yes, and she had some muscle- But nothing weird and sick. She looked like a normal girl, just was quite strong.

Continuing to manipulate the seeds in the thorns, she would slowly send them into the bark, and then spread them about as much as she could, since the more seeds she could funnel into the tree, the better of effect it would create. Would the tree explode? Or would roses just grow up around it as if it was a pole? Ishi wasn’t quite sure what to expect in this situation, since she had only heard of what it could do on human beings, or on animals, if you would use them on them.. Although it would be horrible, she’d figured. She’d hate to fight a person with an animal companion, due to the fact that she’d have to hurt the animal too as well as the person. And the opponent would be able to use the animal to bite her or something. Eugh.

Ishi hadn’t really been bitten by anything in her life before- Maybe scratched quite a lot by cats and dogs, but she couldn’t remember being bitten- Ahah, maybe once or twice.. but none which she could remember in memory. She couldn’t remember most of her childhood, only a few pieces, but she figured that was best, since she didn’t really like to talk about it- Or think about it, since it almost always made her slightly teary, as much as she hated to cry. ”Continue..” she mutters, nodding, and then narrowing her eyes down at the tree, the last of the seeds held in the rose then exiting through the thorns, and entering the tree, who probably had no clue about what was going on. Poor tree.

”Now I just need to make the roses sprout into well, roses..” she murmurs, thinking of the process. Yep, it would probably be the same as the genesis technique, and she would need to perform handsigns too, just, she figured that these roses, being the seeds of roses which had been non-naturally grown, would probably be as strong as the rose which had been flung into the tree, and figured that it wouldn’t be very nice either, to have super-strong roses burrowing underneath your skin all the time. It wouldn’t be a very pleasant experience, not at all. ”Maybe I’ll learn another Shuunshin after this..” she ponders, thinking. She needed to learn another one since well, it was a useful technique and it would be great if she could learn as much as she could before the break ended.

”I almost have it..” she murmurs, and once the seeds were in the tree, begins to concentrate once more, thinking of what to do next. Next, of course she would need to well, sprout the seeds into a rose garden. Taking a deep breath, she looks at the beautiful palm tree, which secretly had the rose seeds hidden among the bark. She would then begin to weave the handseals for the technique- Well, not for the technique really, but it caused the seeds to sprout, and grow at quick rate. Once those were done, she murmurs a quiet; ”Sorry.” to the palm, who she figured was slightly confused. Poor little palm tree who probably didn’t know what was going on. Aw, Bless.

Creak.. the sound of the wood which the tree was made from seems to.. creak after she prepares the handseals, as then, out of the cracks along the palm tree, out come large strings of roses, which were probably dangerous. They exit through the cracks, and then seem to circle around the tree, like some sort of unorganized bush. The trunk of the tree seemed to grow a little bit also, probably due to all of the roses which were currently digging around it, moving in circles along and stabbing through it. Ishi would just watch in amazement as the technique worked its magic. Her eyes were open at this, as she imagined that the tree was a human being. Of course, being a human, you had softer skin than a tree, so the roses would probably pierce easier, unless you were wearing armour or something which could shield you, but armour would slow you down in battle, so most people usually just wore well, normal clothes.

What if her foe, who was planning to kill her probably, had sleeves like Ishi herself did? She could rip the sleeves off, or, the roses, being strong and all they would probably be able to break through the clothing and the skin, it all depended what type of fabric it was. Ishi’s clothes were quite thick, nice in the winter, but hell in the summer, although she could just roll up her sleeves, or take off her kimono top and just wear the tank top and net shirt with her boyish trousers. Sure, it made her immune to bug bites and everything, since her sleeves no longer protected her arms, but still, it was nicer than boiling herself alive in her clothes- Although.. summers in the Leaf are usually nice, since they aren’t too warm due to the trees covering the land, shading them.

She would continue to watch as the roses slowly butchered the tree, clawing it inside and out, causing it to bend in a slightly weird manner, as if lots of weight had been put on it. Of course, quite a few rose seeds were sent into the tree, so no wonder, with the large garden which was now around it. The palm tree was now practically no longer a palm tree.. but a rosebush. Of course, it still stood tall, but roses covered the lower portion of it, the flowers in bloom. It looked almost.. innocent, although Ishi knew that the flowers had probably just eaten all of the trees minerals it needed to live, or the water in the earth. Poor little tree. She felt bad for killing it in order for her to train, but she figured that’s how the world went. Things died, and things went on, in a circle.

Shaking her head, Ishi would then stretch her neck a little bit, bringing her arms back down to her side after training the technique. Would she need to do it again? She looks at the rose which she could just make out faintly through the large bush of roses which she had created, and smiles to it simply, it was the one which had created all of the mess, and had sent the seeds into the bark, causing the tree to be partly killed. Ah well, there would be enough water and minerals around, right? Ishi shrugs lightly at her question, not knowing the answer herself, and then continues to look at the rosebush, unsure if she should continue training this or move on to the Shunshin which she needed to train.

Shunshin no Jutsu, 瞬身の術, (Body Flicker Technique)

Ishi then, once she had learned that technique, walks towards the sands. She could train her Shunshin technique here, since it was nice and warm and well, Ishi really wanted to go on the beach after having waited long learning that technique but not being able to rest her feet on the sands, the nice feeling of sinking into the ground as your toes got coated in nice, crumbly sand. It was a nice feeling, especially if the sand was nice and dry, not wet from the sea. And you could have sand fights with people, throwing sand at eachother for fun- Although it could get in your eyes, and that wouldn’t be very nice, but still. Being at the beach was fun, fun, fun.

”Some people can manipulate sand..” she murmurs, thinking for a little while as she looks at the grains which were under her feet. She then smiles slightly to herself, and begins to train. Once more, she would need to go as quick as she could, running across the sands. She chose to train it here, on the beach for the reasons that 1. She liked beaches, and 2. The sand would hopefully weigh her down a little bit, making her work harder to reach her goal of learning this technique once more. At the moment, she was able to use this four times per day, but Ishi wanted to learn it further, and wanted atleast 10. Hahaha. Using ten of them would be awesome; you could practically fly about if you could do that, unseen.

Ishi was sure that some people in the world would be able to do that, she was pretty sure that the Hokage could, since she had heard rumors about that he could use a bunch of them, but she wasn’t quite sure, and she couldn’t really go up to him and ask him that, it would be rude and all. But the idea of being able to use a lot of the body flicker technique per day was interesting. Was there a limit as to how many you could learn? Ishi had no clue, and dreamed of being able to use a thousand of them. That would be quite funny, she would probably be called; Ishi ‘body flicker’ Kishiko or something then, but still, the chances of her learning it a thousand times were well, tremendously slim to nil.

She would then begin to run across the sand, just running normally to warm herself up, and then speeding up as time went by. ”I need to learn this..” she murmurs to herself as she continues to run across the sand, kicking up grins as she does so, but she ignored that, and kept on running quickly, continuing to speed up her pace until she was seemingly teleporting across the sands. She knew well about why this was limited as to how many times you learned how to use the technique, it was obviously because it placed strain on the joints, due to the user moving so fast.

But this would make her wonder as to if some normal people went this fast in real life, would it not put strain on their muscles then? That’s what made her think, but, nonetheless, she doesn’t space out this time, miraculously enough, and continues to rush about at a practically blindingly fast pace. This was of course the body flicker technique, where it would allow the user to run about at a fast pace, as if they had teleported around, they were so quick. It was quite awesome, really, to be able to do that, it was like.. really teleporting! She had heard that people could kick up leaves or make puffs of smoke using chakra to make it appear as if the user has really teleported, but Ishi didn’t know that- Unless she could just make poufs of smoke when she would teleport..

Once learning her body flicker technique once more, Ishi begins to learn a few more wood techniques, fitting in as much as she could before she would depart to the cafe. She was just hoping that this wasn’t the last time she would train. She then steps off the sands, and into the rims of the jungle, where there was soft, earthy ground, instead of sand. Looking back at the lovely beach which she had been in, as if she was missing something, she then sighs, and shakes her head, figuring that it was best if she would just continue to train, without having to stop. Of course, having fun was all well and good, but having fun while training was.. well, she did have fun, but not as much as she could be having if she was running around the beach.

Shaking her head, she begins to train once more. She would be learning a technique where you would create a pitfall underneath someone’s feet, which then, underneath there would be spikes in which they could be used to help impale someone- Well, they probably weren’t big enough to impale, but they would sure hurt, and it would take a while to get out of the pit, therefore making the opponent vulnerable for that time, then Ishi could strike. Grinning at her idea, Ishi then shakes her head once more, and begins to work, performing the handseals which she needed to use for the technique to be used correctly.

”So, this sounds easy..” she murmurs, once she would learn this, along with maybe one other technique, she would then make her way back to the café. Smiling at her idea, she nods, and uses the handseals. Tiger, Ram, Monkey, Snake. the forms were made, and then she begins to work on using her chakra to cut through the ground, manipulating the earth in order to cut a large hole in it. Where her target was- Which was simply a blank square of earth, Ishi could see her chakra cutting through, the blue aura flowing around the sides of it, glowing. It was interesting how you could see chakra, or, Ishi thought that anyway. Ehehe.

”I need to make my chakra implode..” she murmurs, looking at the blank square of earth once more, where there was a noticeable blue glow where her chakra was. Taking a deep breath, she would then attempt to burst her chakra, and make the earth go away- If that was possible. She would narrow her eyes down at it, as she begins to concentrate. This technique was slightly confusing to learn, but she really wanted to learn it, mostly due to the thing that it could do. If her opponent was tied down, she could easily use this to make them fall, and then just trap them in the earth. That would be a good idea, but would she be able to use it in battle to her advantage? She would have to wait and see.

The earth then suddenly seems to collapse on herself, leaving a gaping hole where the earth once was. Ishi slowly walks towards it, and looks down, to see that, at the bottom, where the pit ended- It seemed to be about.. four feet tall in height? She wasn’t quit sure, but it looked like that. Anyway, at the bottom, there were wooden spikes which she had made from her knowledge of wood release. These would easily hurt an opponent, due to the sharp tips on the heads of the spikes. Grinning at her achievement, Ishi then spin around happily- Making sure not to fall into the pit, and takes a deep breath afterwards, glad that she had understood how to use it. It seemed like a pretty useful technique- But that’s what she said with all of the techniques she had learned. Continuing to grin, she then stretches her arms, and takes a deep breath, inhaling through her well, nose, and exhaling through her mouth.

She then, after having a one minute break, begins to try once more, just, faster this time. Ishi turns swiftly to the side, towards a blank space of earth which hadn’t been well, cut up yet. She would concentrate on the earth, attempting to make her chakra manipulate a sort of circle of earth around the spot which she has chosen for her ‘target’ to be, which, of course was just air. And if there really was someone there, they would maybe run away or something, but that didn’t matter at the moment, she was just concentrating on training this technique so that she’d be able to use it for later on. Smiling once more, she then yawns lightly, and performs the handseals which she needed once more. Tiger, Ram, Monkey, Snake. they were done, as the young girl’s gloved hands speed about, making symbols.

She then concentrates on the earth, using both her chakra and knowledge she held which were related to Earth release, and Wood release. She needed these two for the technique to succeed, and thankfully, she did know these techniques, so hopefully it would be easier than the last time and quicker too. With a slight ’Bash’ sound, her chakra imploded the earth, causing it to fall in on itself once more, revealing a hole, big enough for a person to fall in, and tall enough for someone to possibly have quite a struggle of getting out. She would then quickly make the spikes which were at the bottom, since she had made them slowly, as they then shoot out of the ground in a dangerous manner, towards the sky.. Although they stop at just about one foot in height. Ah well, they could still do some good damage.
