The Chuunin Exams.[/font]
Youko had known for the past few weeks about the exams; unfortunately, she had not considered herself strong enough to enter along with the others of her village. It wasn't very upsetting, for she was not one to fight anyway, but.. she wanted to see what the Exams were about anyway. That was her reasoning for traveling this day, to the Moon Country where the Chuunins were being held. At the least, the Kaishin could cheer on her comrades and the other participants.
There were many port towns on the island that made up the Water Country; it wasn't hard to find one with a boat that would take her directly to the Moon Country. It would be a long journey on a boat, but she was willing to deal with that this time. Arriving at the port near the southern end of the country, she smiled at the ferryman and handed over the ryo necessary to take the boat. He grinned a toothless grin and allowed her to pass; it was time to get started.
