Lyn walked into the large temple like structure in the capital of the village of Kusa. She had always wanted to learn to use a sword and now this was a opportunity. It was said that in this old temple a master of one of the strongest blade fighting styles resided, Lyn wanted to meet the man badly because it was said that he was an old hermit who was knowledgeable beyond many others. Too her surprise when she reached the temple a young man was sitting on a carpet in the middle of the large fighting dojo. Lyn was shocked and got on both knees and said "Please let me train as your student in the Gyakusatsu fighting style. I want to be stronger, my name is Lyn Runi and I am said to be one of the strongest genin level ninja in the Grass Village so please train me." Lyn looked as the young man in a kimono just watched her and said "Well my name is O-ishi Kuranosuke and before I train you I must get to know you so please sit and have tea with me." Lyn was caught off guard by the man's relaxed posture and somewhat lazy attitude but Lyn did as he asked and went through a hour and a half tea session. Once done she felt the man might have asked her everything about herself and said "Sure I'll train you but you should know I need a nap first and just call me master." Lyn couldn't believe how the man just feel back and went to sleep. She didn't have time for this so she got up and looked around, slightly disappointed about how lazy her master was. Though there was nothing she could do, she then noticed that she had lost her sword and was lost in the temple.
She sighed, as she wondered aimlessly and then found a room with six scrolls. She went in and saw a bokken and picked it up as she picked up one scroll it held a stance and she read through it. It told of a stance of balance. She read through it and saw that there were pictures depicting how to do the stance. She began to follow the scroll on how to do the stance. She took the bokken at her middle section that was on a 45 degree angle, her dominant hand on the apex which was her right hand. She then placed her right foot in front. She continued practicing fighting with the stance for another 15 minutes. Till she felt she had it down, she smiled it was fun to fight with a sword. She did the stance again and felt the balance between her self. She felt as if she could go anywhere with this stance as a base for what she would be doing. Though she had this down and wanted to learn more stances and see what was in the scrolls.
