The Jab
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A quick, straight punch thrown with the lead hand from the guard position.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Picture Stand with your feet hip distance apart. Step your right foot back 18-24 inches with the weight of your right leg on the ball of your foot (right heel is somewhat elevated and the knees are slightly bent). Bring your right fist close to your right cheek bone and your left fist slightly in front of it about jaw height. Pull your elbows in towards your ribs so that they line up somewhat below your fists. Push off of the ball of the right foot, bend the left knee slightly and start to extend the left hand in a pushing type motion (there should be a subtle rotation as your left hand goes forward your right shoulder moves back). You may also rotate the fist so that when it reaches the desired destination your left palm will be facing down. Retract the left hand as fast as you extended it and return to the original position. Remember before punching relax the hand, snap it forward and clinch before making contact. Do your best to strike with the first two knuckles and keep your wrist in neutral position upon impact. Aim six to eight inches beyond your target. Extend the arm only about 90-95 percent. Keep your chin tucked down toward your chest--this protects your jaw from exposure to being hit. Bring your hand back as fast as you throw it. Move your head on an angle as you throw the punch.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch

Saito walked through many mud filled rice fields to find some kind of refuge some the heavy rain that hit his back and drenched his body. This storm came out of nowhere on one of the sunniest days of the month. It blackened the sky to the point where you couldn't tell when the day ended and the night began. What made things worse was that it was getting chilly and Saito barely wore clothes as it is. Soon enough the ground beneath him hardened into cement, something Saito hadn't felt in a very long time...ever since he escaped that medical facility performing mental tests on him ever since he was young. The feeling he got wasn't a pleasant one; it made him sick to his stomach.
The city seemed empty...and quite...too quiet for even Saito's liking. The forest and fields had birds chirping, bugs buzzing and other disgusting sounds. Even the wind made some kind of noise, but here...nothing. Maybe every so often you would hear a something rustle in the allies lining the buildings in the city but other then that nothing else...unless you count the many shadows that seem to fill the corner of Saito's vision. Very weird. After wandering around the city for a little Saito finally heard somethign that sounded very familiar....WAM! "Again Major!" came a voice from a nearby building. The sound of a fist hitting the a heavy sand filled punching bag has been a relieving sound ever since Saito met the old man he now considers his adoptive father and mental savior.
The gym seemed very raw, no real decorations such as posters of old legends of city, it was also very grimy. Spit and sweat spilled across the floor as boxers all over the place were either sparring, exercising, or punching a sand bag. The disgusting feeling under Saito's feet was just a reminder of his past, the good part. No one seemed to mind Saito as he entered the gym and went close to a free punching bag. Looking around Saito saw another boxer practicing his jabs, it was somewhat different then the way Saito learned it, it was cleaner...more precise. It didn't hurt to learn something different, god knows when it would help in a fight. Adjusting his body to the usual boxer stance Saito through out a simple yet effective jab towards the bag, totally expecting it to bounce away Saito put all his weight into the jab; in a instant that would not be such a good idea. Upon impact Saito's fist crumpled under the hard surface of the bag and pain shot up his entire arm and to it into shock. His arm went dead in seconds.
What the bloody hell just happened? Why did the bag not only refuse to budge, why did it feel like he was hitting cement? Saito held his fist in his left hand trying to relieve the pain he felt and to get it to move again. A trainer came over and told Saito in a very low voice that he was hitting the champion of the gyms bag; he also gave him a fun fact. "The Champion Breaks those bags after one punch..." Saito's eyes widened and couldn't meet the trainers eyes. Saito was left alone to his own devices. What kind of monster could break these kind of bags in one punch...A chill went up Saito's spine but then there was a spark in his eye...something that if missed you would regret it later. tightening the ropes on his right fist Saito closed it once he got feeling back into it and began to randomly jab the cement filled bag lightly. Soon those light jabs turn to semi light then a moderate job...then a one holy jab after another.
The blood poured down Saito's arm but he didnt let that stop him from at least trying to crack the cement bag in front of him. A few more times of relentless punching, Saito finally noticed that dust started to fall out from little crevices in the bag. finally...he broke some of the bag with a bit more practice he could probably master the jab. Too bad he wouldnt have time to work on that. A boxer came over and for no real reason other then to be a testosterone filled asshole, he shoved Saito and tried to punch him. Saito easily passed by his gloves and immediately back away, also jabbing the enemy in the face as he backed away. The idiotic boxer must have been too stupid to understand pain cuz he kept coming.
For the next few mins the battle between Saito and the other boxer was a flurry of jabs and crosses. Saito's speed gave him the advantage in this fight; if he didnt have that speed it was no contest that the other boxer would have beaten his ass and kicked him out of the gym. Others looked on, waiting for a victor. Saito waited for a opening to show itself, so that he could start jabbing the mans nose until it broke. ....THERE! Saito jumped foward and jabbed at least 3 times in a row directly in the nose of the enemy, crushing it after the 2nd hit. Then driving it into his face with a few more jabs. for such a easy tech, it has some deadly accuracy.
