Cool sands, misty air, and a rocky shore. Demens perched himself on a large solid boulder. The waves of th sea occasionally lapping up against the stone he sat on. Demens Morsus glances up at the sky, it was heavily cloudy, thick gray clouds masked the entire sky for miles around. At his back, about two hundred meters and a slight uphill trek, was a light wooded area, surely the perfect home for a bear or two, nothing that Demens worried about.
"And the dragon came across the boy, the boy was sacrificed to the dragon and the dragon devoured the boy. The dragon grew stronger but still was weak for the father nearly killed the dragon as he slept." Demens picked his head up and glanced around, certain he heard a noise. The voice also told him to come here, to meet someone, friend or foe, it was not clarified.
The young man stood up and stepped off the rock, dropped about one meter into the sandy earth below, where he landed without so much as a shiver of pain through his legs. Without any more time worth wasting, Demens crouched down and placed his hands on the cool sand. The young man slowly waved his hand over the surface of the beach, as if he was reading the very sandy grains themselves like it was Braille and he were blind.
Demens muttered something under his breath as he picked up a handful of sand in his closed fist, and watched as the grains slid out from between the cracks between fingers. It looked almost like a golden dry river pouring from a cliff. A waterfall. Demens closed his eyes again as he moved his hands under teh loose sandy soil, and lifted his hands once more. This time he did not grab and tighten his grip, but rather he let it settle as a pile in his open palm, and he saw that he held considerably more than when he tried to force it to keep in his hand. "Force the sand and you will lose the sand. Loosely embrace it and it will accept you."
It probably meant absolutely nothing to anybody else, but that's how he could explain it to himself, it was really the only way he could at the moment. Demens suddenly tilted his hand, pouring the sand back to the beach's outstanding collection, and once standing up he would begin the search for his chakra.
With eyes closed, Demens felt like he could quite literally see the chakra inside his own body. Each major point felt like a hot spot, and obvious strong point of chakra flow, like an artery in the blood veins of the human body. And once he began to manipulate it, the felt the chakra churning around in excellent motion, rhythm. The cadence was excellent, perfect. Demens was really the perfect creature. Without pausing from his self-satisfaction from realization of the beautiful flow of symmetry. No, instead he pushed his chakra out from his body and into the sand around him.
Demens felt the sand nearby vibrating at first, then the grains floating in the air, slowly circling around him like he was the of a tornado, or a dust devil in this case. The effects weren't much to begin with, but they grew rapidly. Soon the sand, in large portions, were gathering around his legs and climbing up his body, and only seconds after that did and enormous bulk of sand lift from the earth and begin to spin around the Kazeraikou man.
And Just as if it never happened, the sand storm stopped suddenly, dropping harmlessly to the ground on which he stood, leaving only Demens standing with a mischievous smile.
