He rose. He left the dojo behind, left behind those vices that would have otherwise kept him tied to Snow Country and the chill cold he'd grown accustomed to. He moved with purpose, along ice covered encampments betraying hidden paths along the tops of caves leading to the harbor. He spent no ryo to board the ship; it had no passengers save for himself. It had been sent for him specifically by the one he called master, paid for in advance, steered true on unruly waves that propelled him for quite some time through the winding passageway that lead to Moon Country.

He sailed, indulged in alcohol and thin clove cigarillos, thought of last kill, and moved closer and closer to the oddly shaped isle.

Again in the boat. Again on the waves that towed him effortlessly away from the compound he'd helped create. He cared not for what he'd left behind, he answered only the call of his master.

He headed painfully, slowly, towards the Land of Claw.
