Fighting Stance
Rank: "E"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: Take this stance when preparing for confrontation. The description assumes you are right handed; if you are left-handed, simply substitute "right" for "left"
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Stand with your feet high-width apart and take a comfortable step forward with your left foot. Keep your weight on the balls of your feet. The Toes of both feet should generally point forward, but the forward foot may turn slightly inward for better balance. Keep your hands relaxed, hold them above your chin height and a comfortable distance away from the face. Make sure your elbows are in and fairly close to your body, and your shoulders are relatively squared to an opponent.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Krav Maga.

Gothalk tightened the bandages he wore across his face as he walked into the dimly lit Dojo. In front of him stood a small collection of ninja, and villagers alike each practicing the art of Krav Maga. In the back of the room sat a grizzled old man whose grey beard lightly tapped the floor as he barked at his students form and technique. “Master Norrey, I have returned to resume my lessons.” Gothalk said, his voice slightly muffled by his bandages. The oldtimer nodded and waved his hand, “Yes yes another beginner student, Gorath, If I remember the name” The old man barley waited a moment before slamming his fist into the ground and yelling, “Hurry up already and enter into your stance, and don’t you bloody take out those knives you have again, basics first, BASIC BASICS!”
Grinding his teeth in suppressed anger, Gothalk, did as he was instructed and pushed his feet to either side of himself entering into what was known as the neutral stance. The Dojo master stroked his beard and nodded, “Good good, now, next stance, FIGHTING STANCE, GO!” Gothalk blinked at the man in minor annoyance and replied, “You have yet to teach mean anything beyond this ~master~.” The last bit came out with strong sarcasm but Norrey refused to notice it, being preoccupied with standing up, and grabbing his walking stick. Before uttering a word the local Krav Maga master slammed his stick into the back of Gothalk’s calf pushing it forward about a steps length. “Hmph” the old man grunted with the effort as Gothalk returned to grinding his teeth in frustration. “Hm… Hm now back to neutral and back to fighting again!” Norrey demanded and he began encircling his student eyeing his stance.
Gothalk held in his agitated comment and did as requested, sliding his left foot back to be equal distance from his right, before taking a step forward again, only to have his elbow slapped by the stick once more, “ELBOWS IN! HANDS UP!” demanded Norrey, as Gothalk once again returned to his neutral stance and making the single forward moment again, this time ensuring he kept his hands a few inches from his face, with his elbows tucked inside. This process continued for some time, Gothalk earning slaps of the stick whenever his technique became lazy. Eventually Gothalk spoke up, “Is this how I am to encroach upon my opponent. “ The Krav Maga teacher took a step back shaking his head with utter frustration, “NO! This is a stance, fighting stance, from this stance you attack. Aggressive, unlike neutral which is neither aggressive nor defensive, it’s in the name Gorblacheck.” With a loud snort the old man began to walk away attending another student, leaving Gothalk steaming with anger.
