People was walking through the streets quite fast, talking to each other and looking through the windows on the local stores as the rain started to pour heavier and flashes lit up the dark sky. Emi crossed the road and walked into one of the smaller alleys, he didn't want to be seen before he had found his mark, so he made sure the shadows covered him completely as his eyes wandered between the different people walking by. The shop in which he and the merchant would meet was dark and appeared to be locked, so he pulled the cloak tighter around his body as he would start to endure the cold rain. The environment and shops in the surrounding area made Emi believe that the business for the merchant probably was greater than he had expected. Everything seemed to be overpriced, and there were beautiful statues and plants on a numerous places around the shops. Most of the people walking by had some common rainclothing with something expensive underneath. The value of each person was probably exceeding what Emi had gained throughout his entire life. He was however not interested in the money, but that made him realize what kind of employer he would need to work with.
Emi said to his companion when he suddenly noticed someone that was standing out from the rest. The middle-aged man wore a torn robe with some metal pieces attached to it, they didn't appear to be there for anything else but appearance. But the roughness made Emi hesitate a little, if the man was there without anyone else noticing, thieves could very easily walk around there with scraps as clothing. To make sure the man wasn't any threat towards the shop or any of the civilians, Emi quickly looked for any kind of weapons or suspicious containers. But the only thing the man carried that resembled anything capable of hiding weapons was the robe, and it seemed to be too torn to hide anything useful in a fight.
His inner eye would give him a great field of vision, but he knew that it was too many ninjas around and the amount of people would just make it hard to concentrate on a specific area or person. So he instead gathered some chakra unto his feet and rushed up on the building he had been standing next to and crouched on the ceiling. Emi had his cloak spread out in the wind so he would blend in better with the black sky. It was a long time since he had any problems seeing in the dark, but the distance down to the people forced him to focus on a smaller area to see any details on the persons. To make sure that he didn't miss when the merchant arrived, Emi had his eyes wander across the entrance to the store. When he remembered that his friend hadn't been able to follow him up, he turned and looked down on the big beast which had started to growled in frustration on not being able to climb. Emi showed Zetsubô that he should be quiet, which the beast accepted complaining.
Emi whispered to himself as he pulled out a small piece of meat and threw it down to Zetsubô. He could hear some happy chewing after that before he turned his entire focus back down to the store. Surprisingly the scenario had changed, less people were walking on the streets, and the store-door was open. The rain calmed down and the lightning had stopped, something didn't seem right as Emi stood up on the roof and glanced at the store. It was still dark in there and it wasn't just one shadow moving on the inside.

Do you notice how few of them actually have their eyes low enough to meet anyone elses eyes?

I think we should get a better field of vision Zets.

That's my Zetsubô.
