ooc: Ninjutsu user Noe isn't in sight, Okuda. He's outside your cell room, somewhere twenty meters away from the exit door, in the unknown regions of the map provided. His presence is unknown to you if you do not have any form of sensory beyond the physical walls.

All actions after the first paragraph are voided. The first paragraph is fine for breaking down your cell's lock.

Also, gates only increase physical speed. They don't speed up your mind, fast things still look just as fast when gates are active.

Okuda was able to successfully break down the gates of his cell.

The guards with spears continued to start at the cell room door, their weapons aimed at the escaped shinobi.

The guard who was previously sleeping would take this time to run out the room, since he wasn't armed.

Noe's handseals continue.

Another pair of spear wielding guards could be seen standing outside the sword, and approaching.

Raika's ploy was a success. The chains broke from the first strike.

There was a bit misfortune, though.

The chain, when its metal was struck by a lightning technique, conducted the charge and shocked Raika. The effect was brief, being only a slight jolt. No noteworthy damage.

However, right after that, the chain snapped and made Raika fall back. The jolt effect would prevent a proper reaction. There was an unbalance in positioning due to the method Raika used to straighten out the chain.

Raika would land on his back, and the force of the fall snapped his head back to hit the ground.

Like the jolt, the fall didn't do much damage. It only stunned Raika for about two seconds. No guards were alerted, as they would be converging away from Raika's cell room.

After recovering from the unexpected stun, if Raika continued his actions as planned, he would find a ring of half a dozen keys on the dead guard's belt.

The serpent's plan had no issues. Soon the prisoner was wailing like a banshee, crying to be saved.

A guard, armed with only a knife attached to his belt, burst into the door, and looked towards the screaming prisoner with annoyance.

By Naota Okuda, stepping through the cell door now, stared at the two guards with the spears, unawares of the ninjutsu caster not too far away as of yet, he quickly moved, stepping in towards the nearest of the two spear holding guards. He would then attempt to get inside his weapon range and closer to eliminate the main threat of the spear. Knowing that it was mostly dangerous only where the tip was he wasn’t too afraid of the weapon. The guard, though not incompetent, wasn’t an experienced fighter like Okuda. The young red-haired man then attempted to grab the throat of the man, if he was successful he would attempt to slam him into the floor or a wall and proceed to punch him and knee him in the face and stomach respectively. Showing no mercy he would even allow his knee to drop a bit lower and aim for the man’s groin area. Should the other man have attempted to attack Okuda, the young man would have attempted to dodge and grab the man’s spear away from him, though he wasn’t experienced in the use of the spear he could probably figure out enough on the fly to be more than a terror for the foolish guards who sought to keep him held captive. [TL;DR - Okuda attempts to grab closest guard, if successful slams him into wall or floor and proceeds to beat the shit out of him in whatever way he can, if the other guard trys to attack him with the spear he has Okuda will try to grab it from him after dodging.] ((OOC: sorry for the shitty post, didn't know what to do lol))

Damn it...I should have known that would happen...

Raika got up after getting shocked and hitting his head, which had been come about due to an oversight in his thinking. He still went about using his tongue to bring the guard closer to him, and after searching for a bit Raika found a set of keys. He began to test each key first on his manacles, since he'd rather not have them on, making sure to keep them from falling to the ground. Regardless of whether any worked, Raika would then test each key on the door of the cell, as quietly as possible.

If Raika was able to open the cell, he'd grab Okuda's sword, and walk out, his Sakurai petals and second Razor disc following. He heard all the commotion outside his area, and looking around he would soon see the guards heading towards the commotion, which was no doubt caused by Okuda. The guards in Okuda's immediate vicinity would pose little threat, but Raika needed to get Okuda's sword back to it's owner. Raika could fight without a weapon, but that was a bit harder for Okuda, at least Raika assumed. He activated his Ryuugan to get a better picture of what was happening, but he kept quiet, staying within his particular area until he could either easily get to Okuda or he saw someone more dangerous. His Razor disc would be ready to strike at anyone Raika deemed particularly dangerous, but as he could not see the ninjutsu caster for example, he merely watched the commotion play out. He glanced back at Seishin, who looked alright at least, and figured that he'd have to try and take care of him. Katsu probably wouldn't be too thrilled if his feathery companion met his end here.

Nera watched as a guard hurried into the cell block, and she knew this would be her only chance. With great speed, the serpent slithered towards the guard and the open door. No doubt the guard would notice the serpent, but hopefully she could get up close before then. She stayed close to the very corner of the wall in order to help her get through. She'd aim for merely getting through the doorway, and deal with anything on the other side if she got there.

If the plan didn't work, such as if the guard saw her early and just closed the door to prevent her getting through, Nera would simply leave the cell block through one of the cell bars to the outside, and find another cell in another area/block, hopefully one with a way into the rest of the prison complex.

Although it was true that neither guard was that effective as an individual, they worked alongside one another long enough to know how to follow the other person's lead.

The man Okuda was aiming for first, Yu, acted first. Yu saw Okuda's approach, and decided to attack instead of wait. Before Okuda would have been able to reach melee range, Yu stepped to the right in order to begin a series of smooth movements. His polearm would spin, slashing diagonally towards Okuda's thighs in a way that created an illusion of motionless striking.

Indeed, Yu's arms didn't move beyond a budge, yet the polearm danced around him to strike at Okuda. Cleverly manipulated by his fingers. While doing so, Yu was in motion with a simultaneous speed step, which would move him around Okuda, thus away from the attempt to grab the neck.

Even with such augmented movements from an open gate, Okuda was using raw motions, lacking techniques. He was wasting an entire movement on each grab and strike, compared to Yu's technique, which allowed him to strike and dodge. There were two strikes, one towards each of Okuda's thighs.

Yu was attempting to divide Okuda's capabilities. His plan was to force the escaped prisoner to pick between preventing the slashes towards his thighs, or grabbing hold of Yu before he slipped around behind. Either decision would continue to eat away from movements.

The second guard with a spear, Ay, synchronized his movements to follow along with Yu.

As Yu stepped to the side and started spinning his spear, Ay kicked towards Okuda. His kick was aimed towards the diaphragm, above where Yu's attacks were aimed towards. While diagonal slashes spun towards Okuda's thighs, the kick would approach the upper stomach.

After the kicking motion, if it was successful, Ay would dash forth and strike towards Okuda's head with a pair of spear slashes, a threatening move to draw blood from vital areas.

Both motions were at around the same time, with Ay starting his movement a negligible time after Yu started his. All of these attacks took place within the space of one of their movements. Though slower than Okuda individually, together it was almost a wall of attacks being thrust forth, with both guards moving roughly three or four times in this instant.

After the kick the user will rush to the opponent and perform 2 successful North Wind: Bash strikes against the opponent. This technique takes up 1 movement.

Raika's plan regarding his cell block wasn't a big issue. He was able to unlock the cuff that remained on his wrist, then open his cell door.

It was going outside that put him in danger.

Raika was greeted with a large stone room, with a foundation pillar in the center, going from the floor to the ceiling. The foundation pillar was just thick enough to block the view of the other side, which included the entrance to Okuda's cell block.

If the life seeing eyes were activated, Raika would see seven guards near the sound of the commotion. Noe, the ninjutsu user from before, was directly behind the pillar, and still performing handseals while looking towards the door to Okuda's prison cell room.

But that wasn't the biggest threat.

A spiral staircase was towards Raika's left.

About a second after Raika had left his prison cell room, Cannel, the taijutsu bodyguard, stepped off the last staircase step, and caught sight of Raika.

The serpent wasn't noticed by the guard, strangely enough. The guard was visibly staggering, as if he were drunk or otherwise.

On the other side of the room, the serpent found itself in a cozy hallway, barely a meter and a half across, which stretched out in two separate directions. There was a corner at the end of the right, but the left side seemed to stretch out for a much further distance.

By Naota Leaping back suddenly, Okuda barely dodged the two attacks. The prison clothes he wore got slashed in the front, tearing a good slash through the outfit. As he landed a good meter and a half away from the opponents, he deactivated the first gate and placed a hand to his chest to make sure that neither of the two attacks had managed to cut into his skin, or at the very least that they didn’t cut deeply into his flesh. When he spared a fraction of a second to glance at his hand, he sighed knowing that he only saw a small amount of blood on his hand. His next order of business was trying to find a sword, any kind of sword at all. He would have preferred his Katana or his Wakizashi but right now he was without any kinds of weapons, and he glanced around making sure that he kept an eye on his opponents. As he did, he began to back away from them slowly, almost sliding backwards as he did. As he moved backwards, he moved towards Raika unknowingly. Okuda was running low on ideas of what to do, he still had a mission to do but he was faced with quite the dilemma of not knowing where his items were. He continued to slowly move back, his hands at the ready to try to intercept any kinds of attacks his opponents might be able to throw his way in case they chased after him. ((OOC: Sorry for the shit post, however right now I am quite literally useless and need a sword of some kind to be useful....SOMEONE GIVE ME A SWORD!))

[Raika Tatsu]

With his Ryuugan activated, Raika noticed the guards heading to the commotion hidden behind the central pillar. He concluded that Okuda had to be over there, but even if it wasn't him, anyone that was being held prisoner here and fighting back would be a useful friend. Of course, Tatsu didn't have long to ponder on what to do. A glance to his left revealed the taijutsu guard from before.

Awww....f*** me...

With a quick swing of the sword towards Cannel, Raika sent a burst of horizontal air pressure towards the guard, as well as his second razor disc right behind in a vertical manner. While this combo might not stop the guard, it would give Raika some time to get to whomever was on the other side of that pillar. He'd snatch up the sheathe of the sword--should it be with the guard's body, and then Tatsu shunshined along the right side of the pillar in an arc to get around it. He began to focus lightning chakra into his hands the moment he stopped, causing them to start glowing with the chakra. Once he reached the side of the pillar, he'd be able to see Okuda's cell door, as well as the guards, which prompted Raika to send all of his Sakurai petals towards the guards, which would cause minor shocks from each petal, but as they were basically engulfed by a cloud of such petals the shocks would be quite a bit more than just annoying. This was mainly meant to be a distraction, as petals flowed into the cell room and thus also hitting the guards that were fighting. A quick glance to his left would reveal the ninjutsu guard Noe, but Raika would have to deal with him after getting to whomever the guards were after.

Raika would shunshin close to the guards then slide, throwing the sheathe of the blade to the face of and lunging with his blade straight towards the closest guard to the doorway. If successful, the guard would be stricken by the blade about midsection, and a powerful 7-meter shockwave would be emitted from the strike, likely knocking down all the guards. Raika would look into the cell that the guards were heading towards, and would see Okuda within.

First, however, he needed to make sure he could get to him. As he pulled the sword from the body of the guard--should he have been successful of course--Raika would twist around quickly. His next action would depend on whether or not Cannel was coming up behind him or not. If he was, Raika would use the force of his twist to swing the sword and send a wall of air pressure towards the taijutsu user. The wall of pressure could travel about 20 meters, and it would stop Cannel and likely push him back. If Cannel wasn't there, Raika would send the wall of force towards Noe.

Finishing his twisting, Raika would leap towards Okuda, stabbing any guard in his way through the heart if possible. If he managed to get to his teammate, he'd hand him the sword and sheathe would have picked up after attacking Cannel or Noe. If all went according to plan, he'd begin making handseals, and he'd whisper quickly to Okuda.

"Okuda, close your eyes when I say."

Nera reached the hallway without much issue, and after going deeper into it to keep from being seen, he began flicking his tongue in an attempt to get any trace of Raika or Okuda's scent, be it from their actual person or from any of their belongings. If she couldn't grab any scent, he'd decide to go to the right.

Effect: This technique is a range technique that sends a force wave attack in a line at far off distances to cut those far away.

When first learned the technique's strength is the force of a bat. When the user learns the "A" Rank, the air pressure is as strong as the blade of the sword. When the user learns the "S" rank" the air pressure is strong enough to cut through Overview objects.. Depending on the user's class level depends on the strength of the technique.

Effect: After activating the Ryuugan, the user will be able to channel lightning, water, or wind chakra into each hand.

Drawback: Wastes a D Rank amount of chakra each turn.
Description: By learning to channel their unique chakra into a normal Raiton, Suiton, or Fuuton jutsu the user is capable of controlling where it begins. After completing the handseals used for the jutsu the user channels one element of chakra to each hand. (IE: Lightning and Water; Water and Water.) Others are able to see the element from each hand because they exude the element given to them. This is used for the other jutsu of the clan and simply having this jutsu active wastes chakra each turn. To learn the clans techniques they must have the corresponding rank of this jutsu. An additional B Rank training can be done any time after the B Rank version of this technique to remove the handseals needed. Though the same amount of time applies to get the channeling to succeed.

Genkai Ryuu: Suteingā (Stinger)

Effect: A high speed lunge attack towards the enemy that skewers them through the center.

Description: A simple lunging attack where the user lunges forward while sliding on the ground. The user attacks and skewers the opponent along the center of the body. The force of the attack is greatly strong, creating a shock wave from the attack. Depending on the user's Class Level depends on the user's capability of creating the sheer power of the shock wave. When the user is first a "D" Class Character the shock wave pushes off into a few meters (3). When the user becomes a "C" Class the user is capable of producing a shock wave of 5 meters. This increases by 2 meters every Class Level that is higher than "C".

Gosei Ryuu: Ka-ryūsen (Air Dragon Strike)

Effect: A technique used to impede opponents at a distance.

Drawback: ---
Description: Another form concept of forcing energy by a single swing. Instead of cutting, the user can swing their blade into more of a force like blow. This technique is shot out in a wave, but expanded into a wall. This wall momentarily slows an opponent down by giving them the push. When the user first learns this technique as a “D” Class ninja the user is able to send a shock wave of sheer force in the distance of 10 meters capable of giving a knock back of 5 meters away from the 10 meter region. For every class level the user may be higher than that of “D” Class the technique increases at a distance of 5 meters giving it a total of 30 meters, with a knock back of 15 meters past the initial shockwave point. This technique is able to counter against thrown and other projectile weapons, as well as running opponents.

...And it would seem that again Seishin would have little he could actually do at this point in time. From his position inside the jailroom he had shared with Raika he had seen Cannel enter the floor they were all on, and then spot Raika. Seishin was far from interested in getting attacked by anyone; especially without being able to fly with his left wing useless. Nope, for now Seishin was grounded, and simply hid behind Raika, edging back into the room behind him to stay out of sight. The poor creature wasn't going to be of much use in a Taijutsu fight, and figured hiding was probably the best option.

Seishin gave a very soft hoot of worry, staying behind the door and glancing into the room where all the fighting was going on. It'd be nice to just be able to leave...

The spear guards didn't chase after Okuda. They were confident with their narrow positioning at the door, since it was the only viable escape route, so they stepped back and held their spear at the ready.

Likely moments later, water would rise up from the other side of the door, blocking the exit with a wall of dense liquid.

Due to their respective locations, Okuda's retreat away from the door moved him away from Raika's general whereabouts.

Cannel faced Raika, and saw both attacks coming towards him. He immediately sprinted and ducked towards his right, away from Raika, to avoid the attacks while the stone prison walls soaked them up.

The sheath of the sword wasn't with the guard. It was only a bare katana.

While Raika moved towards the commotion, Cannel was able to clearly see which direction the cloud shinobi moved to, since the electric petals didn't shunshin with him, and had to follow manually. A beacon of direction.

Noe noticed Raika as he appeared following the arc shunshin. Especially due to the lightning petals that followed, as well as the glow of electricity around the cloud shinobi's hand.

Similarly, the other guards noticed light coming from behind them as the countless lightning petals descended on their position.

Before any petals landed on the guards, Noe's handseals were complete.

Water formed out of thin air, materializing on the stone floor beneath Raika, as well as all the guards. Essentially, water appeared on the floor of the entire sector in front of Raika. The only unaffected spot was a few centimeters radius away from Noe.

A moment after the water appeared, it would rise up and fill the entire area. The edge of the water would miss Noe's skin by two or three centimeters at most. Everyone else who stayed in the area would be consumed by a dense water prison, which would prevent them from moving their limbs more than a few centimeters. If Raika advanced, he would likely find himself trapped inside.

The advanced water prison didn't extend into Okuda's cell block, though the guards standing at the door would likely physically block a breakthrough attempt.

Should the advance water prison form without hindrance, Noe would be surrounded by walls of dense liquid as he held the handseal required to maintain the technique. From outside, more than a dozen meters of liquid protected him from all around.

Cannel would run up from behind where Raika stood. Cannel's eyes were focused mostly on the cloud shinobi's feet, for any more signs of instantaneous motion.

While his eyes focused, Cannel's body gathered its strength and energy.

Suiton: Koushou Suiro no Jutsu (Advanced Water Prison)

Type: Ninjutsu
Effect: Traps the opponent within the Suiro no Jutsu without the needed effect of having one’s hands stuck within the technique.
Special: Handseals
Description: The user creates a large amount of water around the opponent’s feet that spreads upwards rapidly. The movement upwards is so rapid that escaping from it is next to impossible. Once trapped inside the water, the same rules of Suiro no Jutsu applies to the one trapped- the user is unable to move beyond a few centimeters inside of the water. The user must hold the Tiger seal for the prison to stay intact- however, they are capable of moving around and doing anything that doesn’t break the seal.

The serpent didn't find any scents, but there was a loud thump that vibrated through the walls.

The sound and vibration came from Raika's attacks striking against stone walls, though the serpent wouldn't know that.

Around the corner, there were three guards. One was stationed in front of a silver metal door, while two were patrolling the hallway. One of the patrolling guards faced the serpent's direction, while the other was walking away. The nearest guard was walking towards the corner, current at about twenty meters away. The one guarding the metallic door was twenty-three meters away. The final guard, moving away from the serpent's direction, was more than thirty-seven meters away.

By Naota Okuda, watching as his teammate suddenly appeared almost out of thin air, was nearly trapped within a bubble of water; Okuda was still trapped by the two guards, something he didn’t like Damn it, if only I had a sword and sheathe this fight would be over already and I could move on to the real threats here! were the thoughts of the young samurai, though he had been training himself in hand to hand fighting of late he hadn’t gotten enough skill with it as of yet to be truly good in a fight. Maybe…Maybe if I can bring them into a brawl I can get lucky and they won’t be all that good without their spears… Okuda allowed himself a small smirk before lowering himself into a strong looking stance. His left arm folded behind his back and his right hand extended outwards, his body rotated to show a slender profile to the two spearmen. His right hand was open and pointed towards the two guards his thumb pressed against the palm of his hand. His feet were spread to be about shoulder length apart, once he were settled in this position the words came from him like ones that no one had heard from him before “Only cowards would seek to use weapons against an unarmed opponent, one who lacks the ability to use Jutsu, be real men and honorable! Fight me with only your fists, prove your worth or hand me a Katana and see who is the true victor in our fight!” An obvious taunt, however the words were seeded with hatred like those that none had heard before. If Raika could hear Okuda’s voice, even he wouldn’t recognize it, the voice was somewhat deeper than his normal talking voice, even a bit louder though that would be hard to determine since Okuda barely ever spoke. The young man watched the two spearmen, waiting to see what their reactions to his taunt were. Special: --- Drawback: The user is only capable of predicting movements¡¯ one rank below then what they have learned. The user is only capable of predicting movements that are TaiJutsu Based. Any other type of movements cannot be predicted. Description: The way this technique works is that the user observes certain points of areas of the opponent's body such as the shoulders, thighs, and hips. Since attacks are focused on these points they are capable of making educational guesses towards points of contact that may occur within these certain points. This type of technique is a study where the user is capable of watching an opponent's movements for a brief moment of time predicting TaiJutsu techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are capable of predicting techniques of "D" Rank capability. When the user learns the "B" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "C" Rank capability. When the user learns the "A" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "B" Rank capability. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "A" Rank capability. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class. Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the User is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher. [Raika Tatsu]

Tatsu noticed the water wall forming in front of him, his eyes giving him clear warning as the water chakra through the air caused water to form. He quickly brought his Sakurai petals back towards his own back, saving them from the watery prison. Raika stopped in his tracks as the wall of water came up in front of him. The ninjutsu user was going to be a pain again, especially now that he was basically safe within the water prison, but the taijutsu fighter was going to be worse. The problem: Raika wasn't so sure he could take him on. Still, he had to try.

Raika twisted around quickly, using the force of his turn to swing the blade--which was held in his right hand--horizontally, using the Air Dragon Strike technique to send a wall of air pressure towards the incoming Cannel. At the same time, Raika brought his left hand up slightly, manipulating the Sakurai petals at his disposal to create a wall, about 3 meters wide, right behind to moving wall of air (so that it wouldn't be affected) and between himself and Cannel. While this wall of petals would not be able to stop anything or anyone--except for some powerful shocks should someone try to go right through it--they would obscure Cannel's vision of Raika. He twisted his right hand slightly and dropped the sword, counteracting his own centrifugal force so that the sword would fall to the ground. His hands came together quickly, creating handseals for his next jutsu. Once finished, Tatsu would hold the Bird seal, and 20 large ravens made of electricity would form in front of him, covering a wide area from ceiling to floor in front of the genin.

With his eyes, Raika's own techniques would not affect his vision, which would come in handy. He sent 15 of the birds towards Cannel, who would likely be close by now. This large wall of lightning ravens would be difficult to dodge as they flew in a staggered way with no room between them, but Raika wasn't extremely confident in his ability to strike down Cannel. He kept five of the birds flying around him slowly, as well as his remaining Sakurai petals.

Nera did not want a confrontation yet, so she backed up from the corner as soon as she saw the 3 guards. She decided to wait and see what the guards did, such as if they followed any pattern, before going ahead.

Description: User forms needed handseals and hold the Bird Handseal. User creates an amount of birds (User's Choice, Mostly Ravens) and shoots them at the opponent. Each bird is created from pure electricity, discharge into a shock of electricity when striking an object while having a 2 foot wingspan. Each individual bird has a "D" Rank equivalent amount of power when hitting. Depending on the Rank the user knows depends on the amount of birds the user is able to create, how many times they must learn the same rank before going into the next rank, how much power it takes to create the birds, and how well each bird can fly.

"C" Rank - When first learned the user is able to create 5 birds each time the technique is performed. User is able to learn this rank 10 times. Each time learned user is able to create 5 additional birds each time technique is performed, creating a maximum of 50 birds if learned 10 times. Every 10 birds uses the amount of energy equal to 1 "C" Rank Technique. Each bird has the flight capability of Poor: The creature flies as well as a very large bird.

"B" Rank - After learning the "C" Rank 10 times, user must then learn the "B" Rank version. Each time learned the user is able to create 5 additional birds on top of the 50. Both spearmen looked questioningly at Okuda as the taunt was spoken. Ay shot a quick glance at Yu, before he replied.

"Didn't you break out of a metal prison while unarmed?" asked Ay, "I can't do that, so I think I'll stick with my spear."

Yu didn't stop staring at Okuda, his face was still as serious as ever, but Ay was somewhere between seriousness and confusion.

The water wall behind the guards collapsed soon after, causing water to rush into the room. The torrent of rushing water temporarily dividing the two spearmen by filling the space in between them.

Though they were hard to see, five water-fish came in with the torrent.

Cannel stood firm in the stance of the boxer. In the time it took for Raika to start up his first attack, his first chakra gate would have been unlocked, which dramatically boosted his physical capabilities.

As the Air Dragon Strike attempted to blow him away, Cannel held his stance. As a result, the wall of force hit him, then passed by him. With the strength of Cannel's stance, he was only pushed back by about a meter.

Noe realized his water prison didn't catch any enemies, to his disappointment. Thus, he released the seal, which caused all the water to collapse from their held forms. Due to Raika's proximity, if he didn't move, the oncoming water would likely overwhelm him, then push him forward. Right into his own wall of electric petals, if he wasn't quick to react.

The collapse likely took place during the moment Raika dropped his sword, so the sword itself would be washed away with the current if it wasn't retrieved.

Similarly, the lightning petals might be overrun by the liquid if they weren't moved.

If Raika didn't turn around while the water prison broke down, none of the Cloud ninja would see as Noe flashed his open right palm towards Cannel.

Cannel, seeing the signal, would leap back and create some additional distance between himself and Raika. Raika's initial attack already pushed him back by a meter, so he had a head start. He dashed backwards, so that he wouldn't be attacked with his back turned to the enemies.

The guards were released from the water prison, and after spending a movement being disorientated, two of them rushed towards Raika with their fists raised.

Cannel ran to the south wall, and, upon reaching it, would latch onto the stone with chakra upon the soles of his feet. This kept Cannel away from whatever Noe attempted, while also keeping him dry from the oncoming rapids.

Noe immediately followed the signal with a small set of handseals. His seal forming speed was, at the moment, likely the fastest in the entire building. While the water prison water was still overflowing the area, ten liquid fish formed at his feet.

The fish moved with the ongoing current, and divided themselves into two groups. Each group contained five separate fish. Five of them swam towards Raika, while the other five swam towards the prison cell room Okuda was in.

Out of the group heading towards Raika, four fish stayed behind, while a single one would attempt to approach. The lone fish would attempt to swim under the enemy shinobi, assuming his feet were either submerged or on top of the water. If that condition was met, and the fish found itself at or beneath Raika, it would detonate into an explosion worthy of two separate explosive tags.

The other group of fish fish made their way into the cell block, but the water didn't go for enough for them to attack anything.

The serpent watched as the guards continued with their current walking pace. For the next six seconds, there wasn't a big change. Each moving person's position only advanced by about ten meters. They weren't walking very fast while on patrol.

Cannel:

First Gate— Mūlādhāra [Open/Initial]

Effect: The body can only go 20% of it's limits naturally, with all the gates on. With each gate, however, the body can go an extra 10% for each gate broken. The Initial Gate enables the user to push forth to 30%. When a user takes the time to break this gate, they become capable of moving .5 times faster than normal. This means that a user who is capable of performing 4 movements would be capable of performing an amount of 6 movements in total. (4 base movements + 2 movements for the ×.5)
Special: The user must concentrate within their inner body for one brief moment in order to bring forth the gate.
Drawback: Simply put, the Hachimontonkou work on a 100% scale. Unlocking the Initial Gate expends 10% of the aforementioned one hundred each round it remains open. What this means is that if you were to perform under the Initial Gate's influence for two rounds, you would have used 20% out of the allotted one hundred. BUT, the moment a user goes over this 100%, their entire musculature will begin tearing apart, resulting in short stints of temporary paralysis accompanied by shocking pains. Repairing this damage requires medical attention with a success rate of 90%.
Description: Located in the region between the genitals and the anus, the Inital Gate is the first of the Hachimontonkou. It's not rare for a shinobi who uses a good deal of taijutsu to know how to unlock this gate. This gate is usually broken in order to perform a needed devastating attack or for a temporary boost to get out of a sticky situation. However, keeping this gate unlocked for an extended period of time can put a lot of strain on the user's muscles.
The rank of any Taijutsu Attack is increased by One Rank.

Description: This technique was devised against knock back techniques. The great fighters of olden times thought that being knocked away from an opponent would be considered very dangerous and for that created a technique in which the user brings down their center of gravity locking them down into place against the earth they stand on. Doing so they would propel their leg muscles forward holding themselves into place reducing knock back attacks. When the user first learns this technique knock back is quickly reduced by eighteen percent. This means that if a user is knocked back twenty meters initially they are really knocked back for only sixteen meters. When the user learns the "C" rank version of this technique knock back is reduced by thirty six percent. When the user learns the "B" rank version of this technique knock back is reduced by fifty four percent. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this technique knock back is reduced by seventy two percent. Then finally when the user learns the "S" rank version of this technique knock back is reduced by ninety percent. However if a user is knocked up into the air, or their footing is lose then they are no longer able to perform this technique.

Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed. Allows a user to learn up to "C" Rank Chakra related Techniques.

Description: The user, when standing very near or upon a body of water, gains the ability to create a small number of fish below them. The user must form handseals and send his or her chakra into the water to form the fish, once that is done the user has control of the fish for no more than three posts before they dissipate back into regular water. The user, once the fish have been created, is able to control the fish and cause them to swim toward a target and leap from the water. At "D" Rank the user can create up to three fish, and each of the Fish have the same explosive power as an Exploding Tag. At "C" Rank the user can create up to six fish, and each of the Fish have the same explosive power as an Exploding Tag. At "B" Rank the user can create up to ten fish, and each of the Fish have the same explosive power as two Exploding Tags. At "A" Rank the user can create up to fifteen fish, and each of the Fish have the same explosive power as two Exploding Tags. Description: Paper that is 2 inches by 6 inches in size and 0.039" (1 mil) thick. These papers are exploding tags that are able to harm and kill opponents or just simply explode within a certain radius. They can be placed on targets, wrap around a weapon, or even thrown at opponents. Tags have a killing diameter of 1 meter, and a wounding diameter of 2 meters. Tags can be activated to explode within 6 seconds, or by a simple technique. May be attached to 3 items without taking up room in a single slot.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 12,000 Ryo per Slot, or 150 Ryo Each.

By Naota Okuda, taking a few small steps backwards so that his feet were no longer directly in the water ,as he listened to the guard basically toss his bluff aside. An idea struck him, even if he wasn’t actually there the pure bluff could work making a sort of face that showed he saw something he hadn’t been expecting the young samurai quickly shouted “RAIKA! THANK GOD YOU’RE HERE! HELP ME DEAL WITH THESE COWARDLY SPEAR-USERS!” Most likely this would be a bluff, but regardless if the real Raika heard him or not, Okuda had one goal right now to distract the two spear users so that he could make them turn around and lose their attention on him. Keeping the look on his face, he also kept an eye on the two spearmen, wondering if it would work or if he would continue to be up a certain creek without a paddle… ((OOC: Sorry for the shortness, I got nothing…))

[Raika Tatsu]

The moment Raika began hearing the crash of the water, he knew his plans were in peril. Without even looking back, he concluded that the water prison was coming down, and it would sweep him away quickly if he didn't act. With a quick kick up of his right leg, he bounced the blade he had let go of back up, catching it in his hands as he squatted down. He then jumped forward, motioning his petals to follow suit, making them flow forward and up around him, saving all but a tiny fraction. As the petals settled on the roof, Raika landed several meters away, but as the water came, he jumped up once more, this time using chakra under his feet to help propel him up quickly onto the roof, flipping in mid-air slightly so that his feet would hit the roof, attaching with the use of chakra. At the same time in the air, Raika placed the blade in his mouth, balanced with about equal weight on both sides, which--while difficult to hold for long due to no training--would still be possible for short lengths of time.

With his hands free, Raika made some quick hand seals. Cannel and Noe were still in sight, which would make them susceptible to what came next, as well as the now charging guards. Tatsu closed his eyes for a moment as he held the final Rat seal, then opened them quickly, releasing multiple flashes of blinding light that would affect most of the room, save for the small cell block where Okuda was. This light would last for 7 seconds if uninterrupted, and would likely blind everyone around Raika within the cell block.

Hearing Okuda's voice within the cell after a couple of seconds, and seeing Noe staying in place, he decided to try not attacking the ninjutsu user head on, knowing he was likely holding something back to protect him. Raika shunshined along the roof towards the cell door in which Okuda resided, and, without going in, grabbed the blade and tossed it between the now parted spearmen. Raika then began another set of handseal. This time, his petals followed him as he began the seals, and as soon as they were suspended in front of him and his seals were done, he sent 10 petals towards Noe, aimed right at his midsection and arms. Here was hoping they could all catch a break.

Nera kept waiting and watching, though she felt vibrations from the water crashing. Due to her serpent senses, she was able to better pinpoint this particular set of vibrations, which were more sustained and likely closer. Such vibrations likely meant action, attacks, which likely meant it came from her master. Still, she couldn't afford to mess up now, she needed to be patient.

Upon hearing Okuda's shout, Ay's eyes went wide, and he turned around to see what was happening past the torrent of water.

Yu thought that Okuda's shout went on a bit too long, and didn't believe it, so he remained with his eyes forward.

The fish had enough time to reach Raika during the time period where the cloud shinobi placed the sword in his mouth, on account of all the movements used by Raika.

Since Raika was on the ceiling instead of the floor, as Noe's fish reached the location, it jumped out of the water, and detonated with the force of a couple explosive tags. Sometime during Raika's handseal performance for his blinding technique.

Following the first fish, if Raika evaded the first blast, two more swam to the cloud shinobi's new location. The other two fish jumped out to detonate about half a second after the first fish's explosion, assuming Raika was still above the water where they swam.

The guards continued as they did.

Water could be heard rushing somewhere underground, but no exact location could be detected due to how the water was rushing all over the floor below.

There was a sound of colliding metal coming from the door being guarded.

By Naota Taking his opportunity that the newly turned guard presented him, the young red haired samurai suddenly disappeared. Leaving nothing to show he had once stood where he was save a small puff of white smoke that for a few moments would obscure and hopefully confuse the spearman who did not turn around at Okuda’s bluff. As he moved, the young man moved in an arc moving faster than the eye could travel until he was suddenly right next to the distracted guard, the one who had turned around on the left hand side of the door. Left hand side from Okuda’s original perspective that is, the young red head then quickly made an attempt to grab at the spear with both of his hands. If he were to be successful at this, he would then try to kick the man’s legs out from under him, first with a kick similar to a sweep and should that fail a swift and strong kick to the side of the knee. If the first kick were the successful one, he would leverage the man into his ally at the same time attempting to force the blade of the spear into Yu if he was unsuccessful at liberating it from Ay. If the first kick failed and the second succeeded, the young man would attempt to again force Ay into Yu’s path, this time trying to make sure that one of them stabbed the other, at the same time trying to break the grip that Ay had on his spear. If neither were successful, Okuda would simply attempt to break Ay’s grip or repeat the prior two actions as well as making sure that Ay was in between him and Yu so that Yu would be less likely to attack. SPOILER: Click to show Shunshin no Jutsu - Ko (Body Flicker Technique - Arc) Rank: "D" Skill: NinJutsu/TaiJutsu Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush in an arc in almost instantaneous speed. Allows the user to avoid the opponent's attack and gaze. Special: --- Drawback: Takes away the number of usages Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push). Same distance applications apply. Same drawbacks apply when over using. Description: User is able to move in an arc along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. User may move forward, or backwards if they know Tweh version of Shunshin. This Jutsu is used to get around and behind an opponent without sacrificing multiple Shunshins. Raika had failed to see the ninjutsu fish coming after him, but he did not fail to see the first fish jump up from the water. Knowing that nothing good could come from it, Raika shunshined forward on the ceiling in the general direction of Noe but not right towards him, causing the fish to detonate behind him without a hit. This shunshin put Raika between the two groups of explosive fish and within 9 meters of Noe, and since he had used shunshin, this gave him just enough time to use his eyes to track most of the fish, as they were all composed of water and chakra. The other two fish would only now be reaching him, since they would have to swim to him once Noe caught Raika's whereabouts on the ceiling. As soon as they jumped up, Raika shunshined again, this time ending up above Noe, but just behind his field of vision with his legs bent as if ready to jump, at which point Raika grabbed his sword hilt with both hands, and he jumped down sword first with the blade aimed straight at Noe's neck.

If successful, Noe would be dead and his jutsu would go with him, giving the Cloud shinobi an opening. On that same note, if successful, Raika would flow his petals--which had not moved from where they were at Raika's original position (though only about half remained due to the first explosion)--towards the guards. Leaving the sword down, Raika would begin a string of hand signs, using the Raiton – Raiu Karasu (Thunderstorm Raven) technique he had planned to use earlier, proceeding to use it in much the same fashion as he had planned to before, but this time 4 of the birds would attack each of the guards--one for each--giving Okuda an opening as well. Four would stay behind with Raika, while the other twelve spread out slightly and went after Cannel.

The shinobi, Okuda, had neglected the water torrent that was still present around the spearmen, even though he made sure to step away from the approaching water the first time it began to pour through the door of the prison cell room.

Having decided not to use any method or technique to assist against the water, Okuda tripped during this attempted arc shunshin. The water collided with his feet, suddenly slowing the speed of his lower body while the momentum of his upper body carried him forth. Thus, the cloud shinobi tripped headfirst into the liquid.

The water upon the stone floor cushioned the damage enough to prevent an outright death, but the excessive force was enough to stagger Okuda.

A staggered creature takes a single movement each round. A creature who has taken too much non-lethal damage will become staggered.

Yu saw as Okuda disappeared with a puff of smoke, then immediately heard a loud splash nearby.

The water thrown up by the failed shunshin was enough to hinder Yu for a movement. After that, the spearman advanced as he saw Okuda in the waters.

Ay's attention was draw away as he also heard the loud splash.

Water was still rushing into the prison cell room through the single door, but it was at a low enough intensity at this point for Ay to jump over it and follow after Yu.

The spearmen were not experienced with fighting in water, so their movements were fairly hindered, enough to halve their usual capabilities.

Once he reached Okuda, Yu lunged. He pushed his spear forth from the blunt end, so that the metal tip shot down towards the shinobi's neck. Should the first thrust fail, Yu could follow up with another thrust immediately afterward.

When Ay arrived a second later, he followed Yu's speed stabs with a power strike. Ay concentrated his strength into his spear, then swiped it at Okuda with enough force to cut through metal weapons with ease.

Effect: A more dangerous version of Heaven Dragonfly: Dismemberment (Air and Ground), however the user does not have to learn that version.

Drawback: This technique only works on overview weapons.
Description: The user concentrates on their strength within a single strike. The user slices through all materials with their polearm in a single swipe. When used on an opponent this technique will bash through the opponent as well in a single swipe, cutting, or bludgeoning through the opponent's flesh and bone cleanly.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Tensora (天空 Heavenly Sky), Must know North Wind: Disarm (Counter).

Cannel had a clear view of Noe and Raika, and could tell that Raika was attempting to approach Noe based on the direction of the shunshin.

Concerned, Cannel jumped off the wall and onto the waters below. He switched to a use of chakra in his feet that allowed him to walk upon the waters.

Right before Raika jumped down from the ceiling, there was a loud splash in the prison cell room he had yet to enter, though he knew Okuda was in there based on an earlier shout. If his eyes were capable of seeing through solid walls, and he chose to look in the direction of the splash instead of attacking, then he would see that his comrade had flopped harshly into the waters.

Cannel dashed forward with his specialized boxer's shunshin, avoiding the obstacles of lightning petals and prison guards by turning away as needed. One shunshin was used to reach the gathering of petals and to turn several meters away from it. A second one was used to advance further, then turn away from the gathering of guards. He paid to attention to the splashing sound due to his rush.

Noe also heard the loud splash, and was adequately distracted by it. Thus, if Raika ignored the splash, he would fall to Raika's blade. The combination of the falling force and the strength of Raika would cut deep into the ninjutsu master's skin. It wasn't enough to kill immediately, but heavy blood loss began, requiring appropriate medical attention.

Should Cannel see his ally fall, he would watch Raika's lower body for any further movements, while his hand would be cocked back in preparation to release bloodlust. The moment Raika was within melee range, the threat of Cannel's presence would likely force a person into a blocking position for a couple movements.

Unlike Shunshin no Jutsu - Ko where it becomes an arc, the user may dramatically change to the left, right, or even back. May only be used within the distance of 10 meters even while making the dramatic change in direction.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing). Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch. Must know The 5 Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique).

Effect: A fear tactic technique used to have an opponent drops their guard for a counter, or allows the user time to recover or leave.

Description: Picture Sakki is the technique of adding rage or bloodlust to a feint punch to fool the opponent into guarding or attacking so that the user can land a counter or buy some recovery time. This kind of feint punch is not a normal feint punch as it is put soul into the technique. There is nothing more frightening than a punch that you know is coming that never comes. The opponent will treat it as if it is a real punch. When the user throws the punches they throw a feint, however what the opponent sees is a punch that never comes. The user attacks with such ferociousness and intent to hit that the opponent feels and sees the hit but no hit comes. When the user performs this technique it stops and makes an opponent block for a feint for an amount of two moments, which is long enough time to allow the user to attack with stronger attacks. When the user first learns this technique the user is able to pull this off twice in a single battle before the opponent catches on. Each time the user learns this technique they become more skilled in this technique and is able to perform this technique an extra time per battle.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics.
