(( Normal battle rules apply. Cannot start within 100 meters of my Kunoichi. ))
The snow was pouring down wildly, as was custom for this time of year, making it hard to actually see anything. The snow was however gentle rather than biting from the complete lack of wind. The roads were mostly empty, and the sands of time were running towards twilight at a rapid pace. The temperature were far below freezing point, but warmer than in the harshest time of winter.
Travelling these dark and abandoned roads was a young female, dressed in a long black robe with sleeves that would drop further down than her hands, making her seem somewhat clumsy. Strapped tightly around both of her wrists on the outside of the robes were two bandages. The hood of the robe had been pulled over her head, barely hiding the forehead protector which graced her appearance, knotted tightly around her forehead, with a deep metallic cut through the symbol of Yukigakure. The forehead protector was keeping the carmen-colored hair out of her eyes. The two sword sheathes at her side were tightened carefully, and a series of bruises on the skin that was visible showed signs of battle. Even so, they weren't fresh, and she was mostly in a fit condition. The remaining exploding tags had been placed all around her different containers, still allowing easy access from any position. The grenades she carried of different kinds all had their own area. Especially the Goo grenade had caught her attention as being a useful tool.
The boots had been strapped up a slight bit, suited more for travelling than fighting. A minor purse secured in her belt carried her current medical supplies, which mainly consisted of cloth at current point. The business she had been doing had dried up most of her blood and soldier pills, meaning she was in a relative vulnerable state, carrying only about a handful of each. The two katanas were freshly sharpened to the point where they were reflecting light off of their edge. The girl had done a practice swing, which almost made the blades sing in the air around her.
The scarlet-crimson eyes scouted the road ahead of her as she continued walking. Walking in half-frozen mud was quite annoying on a long travel, and she'd have probably been better off taking a rest. There was one thing which wouldn't allow her to do so however. Yoshinee had promised her new companions to return as quickly as possible if she'd survive the whole ordeal. Longing to see the greeting smile on their faces, her pace was steady and constant. Guiding herself with the stars above, she was quite certain this was the correct direction towards Kawa no Kuni. Not expecting to meet anyone, she wasn't all too careful about where she was walking either. Who'd assault someone appearing as a poor child, afterall.
Stopping upon a wooden bridge, the area around here was mostly open. A few rocky hills were covering the landscape, providing cover if one needed to seek it. Likewise, a few trees here and there, and smaller bushes with, seemingly, tasty frozen berries. The bridge which she was standing upon stretched over a 15 meter wide river, and was quite near the surface of the water. Every snowflake created its own set of rings on the surface. With a smile, the young kunoichi imagined different images being drawn in the water by the rings. It was almost as if they came alive...
