“One Sake.” Scowled Zuruel as the bartender filled the clay cup full of intoxicating and expensive liquid. With a sigh, the teen then slid the cup towards the man next to him. With a cheeky grin, the man proceeded to gulp down the drink before finishing with a satisfied belch. “Your turn now. You will keep your promise right?” In response to the teens words, the man would simply scoff before tossing the cup into the large pile he had drank from over the last few hours. “A deals a deal kiddo, I'll teach you the art of killing.” Said the man that had been formally introduced as Imagawa Yoshimoto.
As per the masters instructions, Zuruel would draw his katana before gripping just below the handle with his dominant right hand. Looking down at his feet, Zuruel would then position himself correctly by placing his feet shoulder width apart before bringing his right foot forwards and his left slightly backwards. “Like this?” Questioned the teen, the act of which causing the master to laugh in his seat. “Higher!” He shouted before pointing at Zuruels blade.
In response to this, Zuruel would bring his hands up higher until his weapon was level with his midsection. After holding the position for a few moments, Zuruel would notice a slight bit of discomfort forming within his wrists due to the angle he was holding his blade at. Sensing that this would quickly lead to fatigue in the battle field, he would correct his position by tilting the blade at a forty-five degree angle.
“Good!” Shouted the master, the act of which filling Zuruel's nostrils with the unpleasant scent of alcohol. Rather than succumbing to the nauseating sensations however, the teen straightened his posture which was beginning to slouch a little before freezing in place. Now being in the optimal stance, Zuruel held this position for a good ten minutes or so in order to allow his body to get used to it.
