Shiki smiled. The man's interest was enticed by Shiki's wandering words. The man was right. If the guy had killed someone the guard would have noticed something. Besides the point, they wouldn't have let someone that dangerous do something for the queen would they? They were all hand picked and crafted and picked for a specific purpose so for him to be able to kill someone would not be likely. However there was a seed of doubt to his thoughts which was enough.

"Huh you are right. I mean the guards wouldn't have let him on the ship if he committed a crime right? Yah know. Unless of course they don't know about it. Which would mean the guy is seriously sneaky or something. What I am gonna do is make sure to stay away from him." Shiki said with a straight face but on the inside he was smiling. The guy was just a target of circumstance after all. The girl had just so happen to call out that he killed someone. Whether or not he did or if the girl had any proof of it whatsoever didn't even really matter did it. "I'm called a lot of things. But I call myself Nogitsune. You are?

I haply reached my destination; yet before I could, the girl had brought life into her armor. What powers were these? I had approached calmly, sure to have kept my composure in front of the humans. The woman would bring to speak to me in the foreign tongue, before quickly changing to that of some common. Her name had been an easy one to remember, as well as those of her two puppets. I could have feigned ignorance of knowing the language, but with her I did reply.

"Montaro," I said, the black cloth at my face keeping her from seeing my incisors. "Your friends.. they move -- how?" following my question, I would remain standing near her as the guards labored about.

The man whom she had approached introduced himself after her own introduction, a smile coming to the girl's face at the successful communication. Her smile faltered at the question he had posed to her, the movement of her companions. After several moments of struggling to find the words to explain what she believed to be how they moved, Karissa gave up. "Move like you, me. Alive!"

As if to emphasize her words the puppet she called Mr. Snuggles would give a slight bow to Montaro, a movement indicated only by a twitching of the left index finger at Karissa's side. As the construct straightened she would begin her questioning of the man who kept his face hidden, "Why M-Moo-tur-ao alone?" She stumbled over his name more slowly than the rest of her words, the pronunciation of it failing her, yet the genin tried her best.

WIth his mouthes still chewing Takydromus just stared over the outside of the boat. No one had come over and tried to make contact with him and as such he didn't do the same with any others. Looking over the side of the boat Takydromus noticed a small school of fish... with the licking of his lips the lizard man got a little hungry. Takydromus turned from the side of the boat and walked around until he found a guard or someone he could ask about acquiring some food...When he did find them he would politely request about having some food.

While waiting patiently for the boat to arrive its destination, Rahael broke out of her mold and let curiosity get the best of her. Without so much as flinching she went over towards the duo of Shiki and El Ninja, and planted her hands firmly on her waist. "Its always good to see a fellow soun Ninja when on a mission that calls you away from home." She said rather warmly, however none of that merriment penetrated even a centimeter below the surface. It was then she looked at Shiki without have to look at him. "And it is nice to see new faces and potential allies as well."

”What I am gonna do is make sure to stay away from him.” El Ninja grinned hearing him talk. It was probably a good idea to keep some distance from him. In the back of his mind he thought about the battle arena. There was a possibility they might have to fight that guy and it seemed he was powerful if he had killed someone. He turned his head towards Nogitsune when he heard his name. ”Nice to meet you, I’m El Ninja.” El Ninja smiled but soon another came, boy he was popular today. He was a bit surprised to meet another sound ninja on this mission. ”Good to be working together.” El Ninja was curious to find out more about his ally. Looking back out onto the water he groaned a little bit growing impatient, ”How much longer do you think this ride will take till we get there?”

The girl came. The same one that he had seen talking about the man who she accused of killing someone. This was taking a turn of events that he wasn't all to liking. She had hinted that she was glad to meet new faces and potential allies, and considering that she already knew the ninja with the crossbow she would apparently be talking about him. "Allies is a strong word don't you think? I prefer accomplices. It gives it a more......cynical vibe to it. Allies seems to bright and perky for situations like this. A develish smirk would come across his face, painted in an innocent yet unsettling kind of way. Speaking of which..... do we even know why we are here? He looked at both of them not paying attention to anyone else on the boat.

I was sure now that the small female had but a small grasp on the concept of common speech -- her words had been there, yet they lacked fluidity. Either way, I could understand what she meant by alive: as I assume, chakra caused the thing to move like herself and I, but I wasn't completely sure. My own suspicions grew even more so on themselves when her slight hand motion resulted in the thing bowing towards me. A steeled mind kept me from thinking that it would attack; other than that, this girl didn't even seem hostile.

"I am with the shadows," I said, now looking around to quickly glance at the others gathered on the ship. It seemed that three had made allegiance, while me and the girl stood with her puppets. That left only one more member of the Queen's audience, the other reptile. With a small nod to Karissa, I returned to the dark recess from which I came, my eyes now having full span of the crew before me.

As she stood trying to formulate the question she wished to pose to Montaro, one of the sailors spoke in common. She could not understand everything that was being said, but the puppeteer knew the word 'dinner' and followed. Into the ship they went until finally they passed through the doors to the Captain's Cabin and a man smiles and nodded as she entered. Smiling and waving back at him she counted the chairs, noticing that there was no seat for Mr. Snuggles she sat at the far end, with the puppet kneeling opposite the captain.

To anyone who was observing the chakra in the room would seek that the threads connecting her fingertips to the robotic looking puppet disappeared when she sat. The girl was wondering what kind of food they would be getting, if the breads and cheeses would be different in the land they were going to.

Following the guards gesture Takydromus would make his way to the dining are where he would be greeted by a captain. With a polite bow Takydromus offered a hello greeting Hello sir, am I right to assume you are the captain? Once greetings were complete the lizard would go and make his way over towards his seat and wait until everyone began to seat before he himself sat down,

Time would pass and when the guard came to announce that dinnertime was indeed ready, she fell in tandem with the others, taking a right seat by the captain and nodding her head politely. She wouldn't bombard him with questions like she was sure the others would. He was simply following orders, and if he was meant to tell them something, he would in due time. She was curious of him however, her Byakugan sweeping over him for a moment, scanning, looking into him for any special blood, weapons, deformities.

El Ninja had begun to zone out as he stared out towards the blue water. Although he met new people El Ninja was bored easily and there really wasn’t anything going on. That would soon change, El Ninja’s head would turn when he heard the Captain’s Cabin had been set with food. A smile formed on his face as he looked at his stomach. He hadn’t eaten before the trip so some food was quite a nice treat for him. Hunger was not an ally of a shinobi.

Following the man who had spoken El Ninja found himself within the cabin easily. His eyes scanned the various maps but he wasn’t familiar with most. The man had quite a collection of items that he put on his walls. The man who must have been the “captain” stood by a chair but he didn’t quite feel like meeting this man yet. Looking at the various chairs El Ninja moved to one that would put him in the middle of the group of people. There were still others on the ship he didn’t know and that would have to change.

These people were not fun. They all had boring personalities and so far Shiki's only source of enjoyment was the petty accusations. However that would change as they were invited to the captains cabins for dinner. Walking along with the rest of the group he would approach the cabin and find a seat right next to the girl that he had came across during the deck. Shiki would get a quick glance at her face and see that she had a strange thing with her eyes. That would prove to be very interesting. Sitting down Shiki would await for something to happen. Anything at all.

The deck of the ship would be where I remained as the other five participants filled the Captain's Quarters to dine with he and the crew. I remained tucked away in the shadows, but I was certain that a few guards remained stationed on the outside of the vessel, since I chose to linger around in the depths of night. My green eyes scanned the ship deck once more, searching for any sign of loot-able items...

Confusion wracked the girl as she listened to the Captain speaking, barely able to comprehend every other word. Thankfully a female murmured into her ear a translation of what was being said. Turning to look the woman in the eyes she smiled broadly, "Thank you for helping me, will you translate when I try to speak with them as well, please?"  Upon receiving an affirmative to her words the girl would continue in Latin to the group with her new friend to translate her words into common for her. "Thank you for your hospitality, Captain Starsworn, I find myself fascinated with the ocean. It still seems so surreal that there could be such a vast expanse of water in the world."

Takydromus took his seat at the table looking around at the others. He wasn't a huge fan of eating around people he didn't know but it is something he knew he had to get over. The boat is lovely sir though I must say I don't always travel so well by sea.

"Thank you for your hospitality, Captain Starsworn, I find myself fascinated with the ocean. It still seems so surreal that there could be such a vast expanse of water in the world."

Takydromus nodded as the girl spoke of the oceans beauty, it was truly a beautiful thing but it still could make him feel queasy at the times.

The room began to bustle with activity as Rahael continued to listen to the captain. His greeting was warm and light-hearted, though she could see the frown on his face when he returned to his seat. Was something the matter? Hopefully nothing that would derail the mission or the sailing of the boat. She worried not about that though, instead casting her eye around the table, her Byakugan going active one more. Her all seeing eye encompassing the entirety of the room. The one, Reptile, she had considered accusing of killing earlier seemed content to not join them but that didn't stop her for looking around the room for the slippery little snake. The others were content though, none speaking to her as of late, to which she would seek out her own answers with her eyes.

It was a simple task to check everyone's chakra signatures, Starting with Karissa, then El Ninja who had a very powerful chakra signature. It flowed harder and some of his Tenketsu glowed brighter than others. Interesting. The one known as Takydromus had high concentrations of chakra Tenketsu in his hands, maybe a Nin master? A harder look, and X-ray vision, would reveal the normal bones within the hands, and teeth. Teeth that worked on something though she was unable to discern what it could possibly be.

Strange people here on this boat, special int heir own ways, maybe special like her. For now though....she would bide her time. "I have never had Loseilian before." She chimed in towards the captain.

Description: Picture An Eye jutsu for the Hyūga Clan. When activating the user's eyes dilate in the same white color as veins bulge out of the corner of the eyes. The user can activate this technique as a "C" Rank technique taking up handseals. The user is able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The user may concentrate for an amount of Handseals equal to a "C" Rank Technique while their Byakugan is active to gain the See Chakra and See Through Chakra effects for as long as the user concentrates and their Byakugan remains active. Deactivating this Ability takes up no movements. When the user learns this technique the 1st 2 times they train it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. When the user learns this technique the 2nd 2 times they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +10 Training Points. When the user learns this technique the last time they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +20 Training Points.

Effect: The user is able to see much further than normal and access an X-Ray ability.

Drawback: Must have the Byakugan active. May learn up to ∞ times.
Description: When concentrating to See Through Chakra, the character can also spend time equal to Handseals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters the user trains an additional +10 Training Points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to Observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) Telescopic Eye is reduced by 50%. Future learning also reduces distance by 50%.

Description: Picture Taking the time of a "B" Rank Technique in Handseals the user may activate this technique. By activating this ability the Byakugan gives the user a near 360° field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertabra. The distance of this vision is 1/5th of the user's knowledge in Telescopic Eye (Maximum Distance 40 Meters). Please note that the further the user may see, the larger the blind spot becomes. User is still subject to eye attacks.
