Being told the way and hurried along with a few words the white haired girl disembarked from the boat and stepped onto the pier. With the plate of food still in her one hand, lest it was wrested from her fingers, the woman headed towards the town. The worry and apprehension she felt about the whole situation melting away in an instant as the sight of festivities. Stumbling back as nearly walked into the dancers, she nearly toppled over the wagon she pulled along behind that had Mr. Snuggles within, helped inside by the sailors no doubt. When he was sleepy, Mr. Snuggles always needed help to move around, but he was so heavy that it was hard for her alone.

There was so much to see in this place, she wanted to stay and see it all, but the girl had been asked there and it wouldn't be nice if she didn't show up. Daddy wouldn't love her if she wasn't nice.

Takydromus was quickly ushered off the boat and onto the docks where his eyes would quickly begin to look around at all the people upon the docks. The lizard man would walk over to the girl who apparently only really spoke latin, he wouldn't get too close but he was close enough so he knew that he was in the right area. Would you like a hand with your wagon at all young lady? He tried to speak slowly and clearly so she understood, by the fact she had a translator at dinner he figured she couldn't speak common tongue very well.

For the duration of dinner Rahael kept her eyes deactivated, letting her chakra rest for awhile while she listened to the captain talk and the rest of the participants of the boat horded off. When she had finished her plate she kept a slice of bread for the pup, the little thing on her heels respectively as she trotted off the walking plank and onto the post. The fires in the distance were pleasant and it took some time for her land legs to come back. When they had though, she was quick to run into the town, watching the street vendors and other patrons enjoying themselves. Respectively, her kimono had no pockets, her ryo tucked within the confines near the chest and upper body.

Hey Katana, Kopis and Tanto bobbed at her back, the weight reassuring, keeping her gait an even stride.

El Ninja had spotted the girl he’d spoke with briefly from before (Rahael). He hoped she knew her way through this strange place. Walking at a slower pace through the town El Ninja kept her in sight as they traveled. His slowed pace allowed him to enjoy the shenangins going on within the town tonight. He wondered if this was a regular occurrence or if there was something being celebrated. The fires were all over the city and tons of people were dancing as well.

As he traveled at the steady pace El Ninja couldn't help but remember the lizard he'd spoken briefly with inside the ship.  He certainly seemed to be hiding something or was just not very talkative.  El Ninja was also trying to piece together what connection the girl had to him.  Many thoughts were racing through his head maybe once he reached the final destination he'd inquire further.

Upon returning to the upper deck on the water vessel, I noticed that we had arrived at our destination: Losiel, the hidden kingdom. I quickly departed from the large ship into the dock area, my guise still masked by my thick black robes. Fresh smells entered my nostrils and I licked my lips hungrily; was it the food or the smell of the humans that made my stomach ring out with empty pangs. The darkness helped mask what subtle movements I made as I approached the northen portion of the docks, headed towards the castle that loomed within the distance. At this point, I didn't care to look for or even think about the other Queen's participants.. not even the young Karissa seemed to cross my mind as I moved closer to where my objective lay. At the back of my mind, though, gnawing away at what composure I possessed had been the thoughts of the masked ninja that had followed me underneath the bowels of the ship and the female child with those cold and piercing eyes. These two.. I would be certain to get rid of them or avoid them entirely throughout my stay in this foreign environ.

Rahael and El Ninja would be in the thick of the harbor celebration. Subjected to calls to buy wares or luck charms. An elderly woman with a crystal ball before her seemed to call to no one. Yet as Rahael approached she pointed one long knobby finger towards the girl and gestured for her to come over, her clear blue eyes looking quite serious. A village woman gestured to El Ninja, pointing at the dying flames and burning embers. In Latin she spoke "Will you join me? For luck?" She asked.

The dark clad reptile was the only one not to draw attention thus far. A few careful glances brushed over him but let him by. He had an air about him that few cared to trouble with. He remained close to the docks for now, but where would he go from here?[/ul][/font]

The girl smiled at the young man when she was approached, maintaining her usual friendly and open air. Her smiled broadened even as she heard him speaking Latin just as she did, it was so rare at home that such a thing happened. Yet as he spoke and winked at the woman any implications made went straight over the puppeteer's head. "It would bring me great pleasure to bestow you with luck, kind sir, yet I am afraid I do not know how I could do such a thing. Perhaps you would be better off finding another with the knowledge and skill on how to do this." She was still smiling but felt a little sorrow that she could not help this man gain luck.

Shortly afterwards, the blue person arrived and spoke to the woman in the common tongue and sadly she understood very little. She looked quizzically at him and then at her own hands and then his hands, not understanding why they were brought up at all. "Hands?" It was the only thing she said to him, very confused about everything.

So everyone was scattering out...no good. How would they be of any use if they were scattered all around a city they didnt understand? As if sensing her unease a gypsy like woman coaxed her forward around her table, her look one of strong determination. Rahael deactivated her eyes and obliged that beckoning, standing opposite of the older woman. "You were motioning to me, yes?" She had her eyes narrowed, curious, wondering just how much she was willing to invest time wise with a fortune teller. the festival like activity continued around them and Rahael lost sight of just about everyone. Great.

The rain shinobi traversed along, utilizing the directions that were provided to him by the knight Algar. Heading south and west were the directions and through that his compass came in good handy nature while moving along. He took the time also to recount along all the gear he possessed. The katana at his hip matched by the flagon of sake on his other, all while along his mid section was the knife holster filled with kunai. Gratefully it was hidden from view by the shihakushō he wore that held a compass and map, though the map was useless at this current time. Along with these were the senbon he carries to help with surgery if necessary and the two wireless radios he had as well. The mono-goggle also in the folds of the robe that carries the gear elusively.

Moving along, dressed in the black shihakushō garments with the matching hakama pants to boot, a faintly dirtied white sash wrapping along his waist as well while his headband was also put into the folds of his robes, no need for unnecessary conflict in this land if he could help it. With a moving body though, he stepped along with a gazing eye, looking about while his compass was out and he traveled southbound and through the land. Perhaps a better direction to explain was south-south-west, at least until there was a certainty of some kind that could let him know to travel due west completely.

Nothing noteworthy caught my eye as I continued to press through the jubilant crowd gathered in the dock area of Losiel. I moved quickly, bumping into people who had chosen not to move out of my way if necessary as I made my way towards the central area of the marketplace. As I moved to this region of the foreign land, I made sure to continue to the east, sure to reach the castle of the Queen without any interruptions on my behalf.. if they could be avoided, that is.

The woman looked at her strangely for a moment. Her face was weathered and heavily lined yet her eyes were a clear crystal blue. A gaze that could travel straight through a person. She cleared her throat before speaking. "Common?" She asked, a heavy accent marking her speech. "Sit." She gestured for the girl to take a seat on the upturned crate before the table. "This see... I tell." Her hands waved over the crystal ball which began to fill with whirling clouds.

Soon Suke would find himself in the midst of the Beltane celebration. Raucous laughter and calls filled the air just as dying bonfires filled the streets. He would notice what they all did. Nearly everyone was speaking Latin. Jugglers passed before him, throwing lit sticks end over end making a fire wreath. The castle was still to the west and south from his location, separate from all the others.

The reptilian man would quickly find himself in the heart of the market. Vendors hawked their wares and women jumped over fires with men. Most avoided him. A few whispers passed but nothing more. One woman, a beautiful thing with corkscrewing brown hair and rosy cheeks approached him. Her green eyes were framed with long lashes. She smiled at him shyly. "Hello." She murmured in demure Latin.[/ul][/font]

Reaching over, the young woman placed her hand within the man's outstretched hand, a little bit nervous about the ordeal, yet she did her best not to show it. He hand taking hold of her own reassured the woman-child, and she held onto his. Following the man's lead Karissa ran towards the embers and jumped over them with him, smiling at the enjoyment she got from the act. Laughing a little bit she beamed up at the kind man, wondering if there was anything else to this spell. "Is there something else we need to bring you luck, kind sir?" She had not released his hand and would not until her own was released first.

This one in particular was....evasive and quiet. Rahael obliged her anyways though, pulling herself out a chair and sitting across from the Gypsi woman. She made mentioning that she could see her fortune, her something at least, with this crystal ball. When she moved her hands the cloud within swirled rapidly, as if stirred into a tempest by her very fingers. "U-uhm...sure." Could that actually happen? Who knew? But Rahael was curious enough to try it now. While she sat and her eyes rested, she wondered where everyone had scattered to.

El Ninja’s eyes scanned though the large amount of people thee was even one woman who gestured to him pointing at the flames. At first her signal drew him close but after she spoke in Latin, El Ninja, he had no idea what she asked and didn’t have the time to stay for the festivities going on in the town. He had been hired here for a reason. Shaking his head from side to side he spoke, ”Sorry but no.” Turning away El Ninja continued to move on his original path through the city. He hoped to reach the castle quickly there was work to be done.

The venator had gazing eyes while looking around this village of sorts, the many intriguing shops and parties that filled the streets. His eyes looking along at the written word and spoken voice among this field of visage thinking. It brought about an odd contextual view of what he could or could not understand when it came to this place. Some of it was of the medical tongue, and only was it those medical words could he recognize such as the apothecary but anything else was completely done for him. His knowledge of such a place only led him to understanding far less of this place that filtered his eyes and rung in his ears.

The words that were spoken, his eyes analyzing the culture as well while having his feet stopped in the midst of this place. The relative differences were there and his head felt as though he were possessing a searing headache in the midst of this place that rummaged his mind. With a good grasp on what this reality held however he only managed to start hearing a repeat of the words while watching some of these individuals party. Their sufficiently awkward symbols and language berating on his mind as he could do only a small fortune of thoughtful association in such a time manner. Moving through the avid graces once more he traversed with little mind on who was around for a moment.

That was until he began to analyze the individuals that passed by him including the jugglers that seemed oh so very harmless. They all speaking in some customary language was just as awkward to him as the purpose of medicine would be to a drug addict. The references he could host only diluted and cast away from his very judgment as he could not understand what she was saying. One such beauty in the midst of them did little but hinder that concentration though while he hosted some thought process. A process on understanding just what was this person trying to host some avid thought in the middle of learning what this language was.

Though while looking at his compass and then around in the directions he surmised he was still a ways off from actually seeing this queen that had sent for him. The ideas that such matter hosted for him only led on to understanding that perhaps knowing a little more of what the common word could hold. The holding for him could give insight to what he needed to understand while riddling off the latin medical terms he knew in his mind. Making sense of this though, that was the hard part and as he did so, he continued to pass by the many individuals that passed him by. One such couple in this party he gave a bow to in a butler formality while soon passing by of his own. Heading southward while keeping some eye on what was going on around here.

It was rare for a human to appeal to my eyes.. but this one had. She had remarkable eyes---almost as green as my own and possessed curling hair reminiscent to tree shavings. From three meters, I felt her gaze lock into mine; her peachy flesh looked tantalizing, almost so tantalizing to peel it from her bone in the middle of the market place and consume it. Yet I remained composed as she approached.

It wasn't odd that she spoke to me in a tongue similar to the girl Karissa's as almost everyone within this alien land had the same speech mannerism. Granted that I had no knowledge of the language, yet given her body language and approach, I assumed that she was introducing herself. A 'hello,' perhaps.. she didn't seem turned off by my hidden guise like the others, but that was no concern to me, regardless. Behind black cloths, I riposted in my own native tongue of Aklo.

"Hello," it came from my throat with a low vibration. Hopefully she wouldn't scream out from being talked to in the foreign tongue; I already had enough people watching out for me as it was...

The old gypsy watched carefully as the clouds shifted within the ord. "I see... bad... dark clouds..." It was evident her common was not the best. "Far north... death... anarchy... our land... ruined!" She broke the trance and grabbed Rahael's wrists. "You! You must stop! Save us!" She exclaimed in a terrified whisper, imploring the girl to save them.

The crowds thinned and the castle came into view. Here was an area of quiet. As if the castle were frozen in time. What he would see was clearly not the main entrance. A smaller gate perhaps for deliverers, yet still guarded. As good a gate as any perhaps.

Her green eyes widened at the odd speech. She struggled for a moment, wondering what to do. "Do you know common?" She asked, switching out from her native tongue in hopes of finding a common language. Her eyes swept over him appreciatively. It was clear she wanted to make a connection with this man.[/ul]
