Some would call me foolish. And they would be right.

I'm applying for Assistant with the hopes that my passion and desire to serve will be the leading force in acceptance. With a new outlook on integrity, respect for my superiors, and humility, it is my 100% guarantee that I am ready to assume a position and be the Staff Member that people once knew could come through and perform the tasks ahead.

I've been browsing every Support thread and Character Submission. But unfortunately, nothing new turned up for me to help with outside of what staff has already confirmed. I've posted everywhere I knew I was capable. I've also combed the dates of Character Submissions. That section could use a cleanup, but I'm not staff; I can't issue archive posts. I refrained from doing so, but will help with that on a regular basis if given an opportunity.

With that being said, I hope that my willingness to support and listen to the desires of those I will be working with will serve in the place of threads that I can't help in at the moment. I also have the desire to reword/rewrite some of the jutsu that may need to be reworked. Things like the Suiton No Jutsu section and various other techniques that may need to be cleaned up for clarity's sake. All in all, I want to be a team player. I want to help make people's bios come to life. I want to show that my heart is in it.

PMs? I'll read them all. Dice rolls? All day long when I'm not at work. Whatever you need? I'll help to the best of my ability. TP counts? I'll ensure that even the 3,000-5,000 point bios get a look. I'll fill any role desired of me by my Head Staff and Admin. No questions asked. No arguments.

I know I am posting this quickly but Atsu asked me about him applying a little while ago giving me time to think about it.

I understand that heated debates have occurred in the past with atsu and some other members of staff - myself included but I feel that his attitude has come a lot more in check recently. I know he has the knowledge and if he was applying for mod it would be different but for assistant I am happy to give him my mark.

Like he, I have messed up and come back hopefully just as good if not better than before and I want to give atsu a chance to do it. Even if I have to get the leash and collar out for him

I am extremely cautious in my thought process of this all and not just for the events that transpired and lead to a sabbatical. Mostly because I believe it did you a lot of good and really set your focus and perspectives on the right track when they were being skewed for whatever reasons may have been.

Though I have absolutely no doubt in your skills as a staff I am wary because 'People never change, they merely adapt'. Learning, though, is a great way to adapt and learn more about yourself the more you dig and with that...I want to say...1/2 but I want to hear some sort of reassurance.

Not because you are incapable, far from, but that you are still moving, you have been making a life yourself and doing so good, even taking in a spot as assistant can be a subtle 'shift' in perspectives and self appointed priorities. I DEFINITELY want you to come back and staff, but preferably when you have settled into your new place, felt it out, let that new move vibe wear off and you know...you settle in.

I am very pained and still shaky about it, but if you can absolutely convince me I will stamp a 2/3 on your forehead and wait anxiously.

I have to say...your post made me smile. I've always loved having intelligent conversations with you. You also know how to put me on the spot. And for that, you know I've always been grateful.

I once believed that my arrogance was justified. I once thought that I should have been handed things just for the simple fact that it was "Atsu". But the fires that were set beneath me quickly tore down and destroyed the walls that I had built up around my own character, conduct, and commitment. The time alone between these walls, combined with the fact that my fiance' absolutely refused to be engaged to a man who loved himself more than he should have, required that I come to terms with what I was and what I truly needed to be. I said required and not forced. Forced would have implied that I was unwilling. To be required means that I recognized the necessity.

The moving phase is officially over. I've put together my income, allowed myself time to rest, and thought long and hard about the responsibilities of being an Assistant. With these things in mind, I will not be a hindrance to productivity. The "New Move" feel wore off when I spent my first night here at the apartment. There was peace. There was joy. There was even a sense of fulfillment. You have my word that there is no adaptation here. There truly is change, the likes of which bringing about an excitement for RP and advancement here on NFRP.

I thank you. Truly. Your words are hard-hitting. But they're also enlightening, as I have always found them to be. If given this chance, I will ensure that your grace and mercy will not have been misplaced.

Mmnnn...even if you were to get denied, I dont feel it would serve any purpose but to merely have you trying again on a week basis, which is not something you deserve, I feel. Your RL factors finally caught up to you at least and I am happy to see that, there has been an air of calm in your presence that has given many others more incentive to advance their characters.

I will say okay, and say it with a stern tone. No one can predict the future so keep your eyes forward, if you feel yourself slipping at all take the time to address it Atsu. It would break my heart to see things go down the way they did before. Don't let my trust be misplaced in you <3

Sorry going to say no. We may get along from time to time as member and staff however when both are staff there is too much bad blood.

There is too much bad blood with other staff members as well.

I do not feel comfortable with having you as a staff member. Last time you were staff and we had an argument it got so heated we lost 3 other staff members right before a major site update, so instead of having a situation like that happen again I rather not deal with it. I rather not deal with the prospect of losing multiple staff members because of our arguments. You're a nice guy but we butt heads too often and too violently.

I cannot in good conscious say yes to staff. Kage is fine, maybe Game Master, but not staff.

I understand the impact of my actions. I also understand the magnitude of what I've done. I wanted to have a clean slate with everyone - no bad blood at ALL. But if you're wary of that, then I can't and won't argue it. You're absolutely right.

I suppose I want to ask if this just means I'll never be staff again.

I could guarantee you that such things would never happen again and that if I have any type of issue that I'd at least discuss it with you first (Communication instead of just butting heads), but I also understand and respect your authority. If time and my effort show and prove, would you consider it in the future?
