His understanding was slowly growing. Upon expiriencing it himself, Tora was able to finally realize what it is that was missing in his technique. He could form seals perfectly fine. His chakra control was wonderful, and he could focus and concentrate on the right thing like no other. The one thing missing aside from constant practice was some minor sensorry ability Tora would have to develop.
In order to make a Genjutsu perfect, one would need to know both his and the target's chakra pattern well enough to disrupt the chakra flow and turn it into a defferent kind of pattern, thus affecting the target's mind. Now, of course the handseals do a lot of work to aim the caster into the right direction, but he'd have to do the extra few steps himself, and without that, it just won't work.
Taking in a deep breath, Tora focused on his enviorment. Eyes staring forward and his ears almost seemed to perk up, listening to anything around him. Anyone had chakra. The world was built on this foundation, and in order to read the chakra patterns around him, he'd just need to listen, see, feel and basically use all his senses. Be it in the sound of the whisteling wind, or the smell of the grass, or perhaps even the sight of the moving leaves, all he had to do was focus on it, and it was alright.
Lips curving into a half crecent, the Genin smiled as he decided to have a little excersise. Kneeling down, placing his palm on the grass, the Genin felt it, slowly moving his hand over it, listening to the sound it made and feeling how his own chakra shifted the moment he touched it, and the moment he took the hand away. Anything was in fact changing, the senses affected by the chakra. So, in order to affect sight, he'd need to understand how chakra shifts when seeing something, and that way understand just how he'd need to lock it in order to affect it.
So, closing his eyes, Tora moved his eyes, seeing nothing and yet noticing something else. His eyes always worked. The idea was to simply notice how they react and pass that information to his brain. The information passed on by the electrical current in his body, that was affected by his chakra. So, by affecting the current, the information flowing in would deffinatly be false - fooling the mind into seeing something that isn't there.
Now, once the basics are over, Tora could finally begin to master the jutsu, to fully understand it's limits and to turn himself into a powerful foe to anyone who'd come his way.
