The tricky part about Genjutsus was mainly aiming them. Sure, Tora already knew how to do that, but it was just when it came to looking at someone. The more chakra the target had the harder it was to turn it against him and disrupt it. It was east when it comes to the any other part of the body, but the heart was a different thing. Since most of the chakra originated there, it was a tough thing to do.
In any other case, aiming the Genjutsu would be simple and the same type of illusion would not take nearly as much chakra from Tora as this one. However, this was a different class of Genjutsu and it wasn't an easy feat to see and get the amount of chakra needed to disrupt it. Moreover, when dealing with an opponent with an enormous amount of chakra, it would be so much more difficult.
So, in order to perfect the Genjutsu, Tora had to use a bit more chakra than he used to earlier. Perhaps even dedicating himself to the technique so he could somehow understand it better. After all, the best way to learn is to overdo it, and then slowly let it adjust itself.
The Genin stopped in his place, his mind finally calm and relaxed. He was ready to begin his practice. Easy part out of the way, all that's left is to make it happen and test it, throw himself into the deep end and see how it goes. Luckily, he won't drown, because he won't be in any risk.
All that's left is to find a nice lab rat for him to use and try his technique. It would be nice to find a human walking by, but that was somewhat unlikely. At that point Tora would be grateful for a creature as small as an actual rat, just so that he could try it. At any rate, starting small was a good way to go anyways.
"Come out come out wherever you are…" He whispered as he looked around, searching for his next subject of torment.
