An Interaction

[The Maker]

I rode my horse, Brigadier, through the city streets of Uneri. It was a nice place to ride, and I knew I would be home before dark readily, which was an excellent place to be. I smiled at the people I saw as I went, slowly making my way. The city was not huge, but it seemed to bustle especially on this summer's afternoon. There was not a cloud to be seen, but the sea breeze kept the elevated city at a pleasant temperature which I would not mind spending some time in, but I had no purpose, so I continued. I wore a nice jacket of a blue colour, and my tan equestrian pants, along with a dress hat on my combed hair, and my black leather boots were which just appropriate enough for riding.

It would be interesting if anything, or anyone, would stand out to me.

Mifune had since parted ways with the man of Ochi once they arrived in the town Uneri. With his blade swinging lightly at his side, Tsugahara broke into a careful stride, unsure of were to travel in this island. He had decided to stroll near the shops of the place and along the street way, he had seen a man riding a magnificent horse, who sported a blue jacket that caught the foreigner's attention. Like a deer in the head lights, Tsugahara watched his approach. Given his beautiful and flowing white hair, he would have probably appeared as a woman to this horse-riding man, who had been lost in awe to the sight of him and his horse.

As I rode, I spotted a young person, not far from my age, albeit, they were of an indiscriminate gender. They seemed slender, but they're face, it had an element of masculinity beneath all of that hair. No, I could not quite say whether it was a feminine man before me, or a slightly masculine woman. Yet, this one seemed not to be of the usual bustle of the city, as they stared at me, and I had become a rather common sight, almost a local here.

"Hale. May I help you?" I would say, brining Brigadier to a halt. My jacket would flap slightly, as I made eye contact with the one before me.

Tsugahara studied the man a bit longer as he approached him on his steed. The Saxum native looked up towards the black haired man and a smile formed on his face.

"H-hello.. I currently have no place to reside. Perhaps you can offer work for me and allow me to rest at your estate? I have traveled with a friend here and we have since parted ways." His white eyes stared into the horse rider's own, unwavering. "I am Ochi Tsugahara," he said bowing. The black katana at his side moved in tandem with his body, perhaps allowing the rider to see that he was a swordsman.

[The Maker]

The stranger would speak to me, with his face forming a smile. He would stutter slightly, and be very respectful as he bowed to me. He was armed, and quite polite in his request for food and lodging.

"Indeed, Ochi Tsugahara. You are free to come with me to my home and spend some time there. I expect nothing in return. Come, I live on the island of Kòlga. It is a few hours from this place, and I haven't a horse to offer you. But, make the walk and you may stay there for as long as you desire." I would smile at him, and offer him my hand best as I could from my mounted position. A stranger come to my house would be a great pleasure.

Tsugahara took the rider's hand and shook it firmly as he smiled again. "It is nice of you to allow me to stay at your abode. Perhaps there are some things that I can assist you with around your estate.." After a while, the two began to move towards the island which the horse-rider mentioned. Tsuga moved with a steady gait, sure to keep up with the man and his steed as they crossed through plains and city-streets.

"Do you practice the art of Ninja?" Tsugahara asked the man. While he himself was a mere traveler, he knew of some chakra-related arts. He wondered if this man did also.

The man would seem to have no problem walking beside me. Promises of future helpfulness would certainly come to his mind as he spoke to me. I had no real need for any help, but I would put the man to work. Perhaps he can help me further my goals, help me create a nicer place for free men to assemble and speak. He can, certainly, help me search for herbs in the forest. Or maybe he can cook a little bit, or even tidy up. Who knows what knowledge this man possesses. Whatever that knowledge is, I would like to tap it.

"I've begun a venture into the body arts, but I'm no master of chakra. I've been told I have the aptitude, but I've never particularly taken an interest. Although, I've got a training facility in my manor which would serve most excellently for the practice of the ninja way, if that's your interest. As to aid around the place, I'm sure I might find a few things which I require aid for. But, consider yourself, in most ways, an honored guest at my estate. What skills do you possess?" I would say, speaking as we went, making the journey to my home.

Tsuagahara had been further interested in the estate of this man once he had made mention of his training facility. Although he preferred body over ninja arts, this man must have possessed chakra.. or at least that's what Tsugahara thought.

"I am a swordsman," he said, stepping over a puddle while his sheathed blade knocked at his side, "yet I have just begun my training on elemental ninjutsu.. I currently possess knowledge of only Doton, or Earth Style, techniques." Now, they had approached a quiet and clear area, where Tsuga lifted his head towards the sky and inhaled.

"I have a certain way that I wish to learn the five basic elements, but I must travel a lot to do so. Suiton would naturally be my next element..." the man of Ochi's voice trailed off as he thought about things for a second.

"..uh, hey. I never caught your name. Sorry." his head turned towards the rider, and he smiled weakly.

I continued my walk with this young swordsman as he told me his talent. He was just that; a man of the sword, whose primary focus was the arts of the body, but he was learning elemental techniques which he had some specific method to. He would be an interesting one to have around no doubt. It would not be long before we arrived at my house, for we were both vigorous young people, and walked quickly. He stated that he had never caught my name. So I obliged him, as he smiled his bleak and slight smile.

"Ah, yes. I am Mr. John Faber. It shouldn't be long now until we arrive at my home." I would say, at a pleasant volume after a long pause.

With the grand estate well within view, Tsugahara had become increasingly amiable; his smile, it was directed towards the rider called John Faber, in an attempt to win him over with his dashing looks. Not evil-spirited, this warm hearted action would cost him his life, however, as he soon slipped upon a rather wet section of stone. Without knowledge of the water walking technique, the poor man of Ochi fell off the set course, well away from the reaching arm of Faber had he tried quickly enough to safe the youthful foreigner. His neck would be broken and forthwith, his spirit was called out of his corporeal body. Now an ethereal being, the soul of Tsugahara wafted off in the distance.. perhaps back home to the lands of Stone.
