Battle of the Blood Dahlia
"How tragic."

	Battered and bloodied corpses lay scattered across this war-torn plain. Blood stained the now soiled dirt, and any signs of an active battle that might have been present was now obviously ruled out; there was only death in this land. It was a revolting sight; that was an obvious fact. And yet, despite this gruesome site, the young Ikebana ventured deeper and deeper into the heart of the matter. The truth was, Kusagakure was at war, and this particular site was a battlefield. It was hard to tell who won this battle; as far as he was concerned, there was no winner. Walking casually past fallen comrades and enemies alike, he didn't so much as bat an eye. "So..." he thought. "this is the aftermath of a war."
Toge took note of his surroundings. Eight meters to his south west stood rock formations that had obviously been blown down, but for his size, were still perfectly viable to use as a barricade of a sort to hide behind in the event he was to be attacked. Roughly twenty meters north east of that point was a river. And towards the east was a large cliff. The majority of the bodies were scattered around there. Some thirty meters where he had came from, the west, was a forested area, but it was too far back for him to enter now. On his person, he had his single tanto that was strapped to his back. Within his cloak, Toge carried his four kunai, sixty-three silene seeds and leaves, two rafflesia leaves, and his twenty leaves worth of Campion.

War is Pointless
"So many young lives lost."

	War…It was truly pointless. Yu looked around at the bodies around him, his white clothing splattered with droplets of blood from those he had killed. He stared out onto the battle field and saw just how many bodies there were. Snow and Grass at war, What a waste of something beautiful. He couldn’t help but think maybe the war could have been averted. He made his way toward the main battle field to check for any survivers. He had been out in the field and hour now and had found not a single one still alive. “Why must we die in such a pointless way.” He shook his head as he closed the eyes of both friend and enemy.
He soon was met on the battle field by the image of a Kusa nin standing not 20 meters from him. He didn’t advance. For he was a medic, and it wasn’t his purpose to fight. But to see that it was just him and the Kusa nin on the battle field the doctor couldn’t help but laugh. How many of the bodies here were his kills? His eyes watched the Kusa nin as they stood there, as though they were the last combatants on this blood stained earth. “You must be lucky to have survived the battles.” He said in a friendly manner. “Kusa or Yuki… This battle is pointless.” He sighed gently. “But I can tell by the way the world works, that even as a medic now. You are my enemy.” He sighed as he gently took hold of the clasp of the cloak he wore and unlocked it, letting the white fabric fall to the blood soaked ground. “Please Forgive me for what I must do…In a time like this I don’t have much choice but to obey orders.” He pulled out a senbon in each hand and waited, ready to move at a moments notice.

"You're misinformed, aren't you?"

	Toge didn't quite hear the man approaching, but he certainly knew there was somebody drawing near, which immediately caused Toge to tense up; reaching for his tanto as a precaution. The man made no advancement towards him quite yet, but Toge knew that this man was no ally. A fight was surely about to break out; that was an undeniable fact. The man rambled about how this war was pointless, how Toge was lucky to have survived this far. Toge responded with a statement of his own, as he pulled out a simple bag of seeds; tossing all of them onto the ground. There was twenty overall. However, Toge made no hostile approaches.
He was prepared to execute hand seals if needed, but he himself didn't launch an assault of any sort. Even then, he stared at the man, his expression not present upon his face in silence. This silence was soon broken, however. "Why would a medic be sent all the way to a battlefield decorated with corpses, void of any and all life? I doubt that word hadn't gotten through to your superiors. There is no work for you to do here. There is only one answer that comes to mind. So I ask of you. Turn back; I don't wish to kill you." Toge eyed the man to make sure he didn't go onto the offensive at any point. If he was to however interrupt him, Toge simply executed a set of seals, depending on how close the man managed to get to him in that twenty meter gap, or if he went to throw the senbon. If the man was within ten meters, Toge quickly wove a set of six seals while moving back to block the man temporarily. If the man was within thirteen meters, Toge set up a barricade worth eighteen seals, also moving back to close distance. However, whatever the result was, Toge made sure to add five meters more to the distance to execute eighteen more seals, heading south west. With that second technique done, the lifeless land soon blossomed with vivid colors; it was nearly impossible to tell that this was the the after math of a battle. This only went on for thirty meters, however.

Rank: "D" Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Causes a large number of flowers to bloom in the face of an incoming attack, moving in the opposite direction, which causes the attack to halt. Special: Handseals Drawback: C Rank and higher Ninjutsu techniques will burn through this attack like it was nothing. The ability is meant mostly to stop incoming projectiles or taijutsu users. The user must have flower seeds in order to perform this technique, although this drawback may be overcome by gaining mastery over the Ikebana Clan. Weak to fire. Description: An ability that is mostly meant to stop an opponent from attacking the user with a great number of projectiles. Performing the required hand seals, the user will gather seeds within the hand then throw them towards the incoming attacks. The seeds, infused with the user's chakra, will then begin to bloom rapidly, creating a wave of flowers. The flowers, hardened by the user's chakra, will then repel the incoming projectile attacks and leave the user hopefully unharmed. Limit: Must be in the Ikebana Clan. Must know Puranto Ninpou: Haeru.

Description: Having mastered the Ikebana clan arts, the user gains the penultimate ability of the clan; the power to create the Ikebana flowers without seeds. In order to do this, extra chakra must be expended. These can be used for any and all Ikebana jutsu. The range of flowers grown is dependent on how much chakra put into the skill.

Limit: Must be in the Ikebana Clan. Puranto Ninpou: Haeru. When the user gains 500 TP into Ikebana jutsu, this is gained automatically.

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates a wall of flowers no more than ten meters wide and ten meters tall which is used to block an incoming attack.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: The attack is only capable of blocking attacks that are of the same rank or lower as the user's Difficulty Class. Weak to fire.
Description: Sometimes, the absolute defense of the user or his or her allies becomes necessary. In those situations, the Ikebana will perform the required hand seals, channeling chakra into the flowers around them, causing them to rise up and rapidly create a wall of flowers that is imbued with the user's chakra. With the user's chakra within them, the flowers will be hardened and will resist attacks, allowing the wall to sustain an amount of damage equivalent to the user's Difficulty Class. If the user gains Mastery in the Ikebana Clan, then the amount of damage that their wall is capable of sustaining before crumbling is equal to their Difficulty Class + One Rank [Meaning if they were C Class, they could block a B Rank technique, or in the case of mastery and the user is S rank, S+D Rank]
