But it did give him the where with all that this was a labyrinth of caves. It would be impossible to find where one was going should the try to explore this region. Maasaa had gotten into the village with no trouble he had wanted to visit the tower and see who was in charge. Unfortunately he never got close and wandered the streets of the strange village. By simply eavesdropping he was able to learn the name of this place. Maasaa had come across Iwagakure the village of stone. More information was learned as well, several wandering citizens were talking about an upcoming exam called the Chuunin exams. It wasn’t anything Maasaa had ever heard of but it did sound exciting. A chance to challenge others and see who was strongest. It could be a good test of his abilities.

He planned to continue wandering and to learn about the village but his stomach growled quite loud at him. It was time to eat. Stomach rumbling were not the only feelings he had as Maasaa neared the food district. A cold breeze flew by making his white cloak push backwards forcing a shiver throughout his body. He needed to get somewhere warm. Maasaa wrapped the open white cloak around his body to help block the wind. Inside the cloak was a world map and 5 stun grenades. Beneath his white cloak, he wore a black shirt and brown cargo pants. Around his waist was a utility belt which had quite the variety. Within it were 4 kunai, 30 hira-shuriken, 32 makibishi, 2 frag, 1 smoke, 2 goo, 1 incendiary, 2 stun grenades & 5 thermal capsules; and on his hip was a butt bag holding 15 knives.

Looking at the various restaurants on the street Maasaa noticed a small well lit ramen shop. Yet there were no customers within it. Perhaps he could use a little getaway from the busy streets. Moving through the crowds he entered the shop. Looking around he inspected the area it seemed like your regular store. Sitting at one of the seats Maasaa greeted the chef as he took a look at the menu. He was craving chicken today and politely asked for a chicken ramen. As he waited he wondered how much news the chef might hear from other patrons. ”I’m new in town, do you know anything about these chuunin exams I hear everyone talking about?”

The Chef looked at Maasaa. Nothing struck the chef that would say this was a spy or an informant. Seems some normal Joe off the streets. Asking about the Chuunin exams though "It is a function for Shinobis. It is an advancement exam for gaining rank." Looking Maasaa over again the chef wondered.

Going to a grill he started to cook up some vegies and chicken. As he did this the Chef asked, "Why are you interested?"...

Maasaa nodded listening to similar information he’d heard on the streets. What was different was the mention of advancement for gaining rank. Maasaa was quite ignorant when it came to the world of shinobi. He had no idea what the ranks were but assumed if successful you’d become a chuunin. A smile formed on his face as he heard the sizzling of the grill it also induced another grumble fom his stomach. Patting it lightly he had to be patient the food would be good.

The chef was tending to the grill but Maasaa was looking right at him as he worked. ”I would like to see what I’ve got.” He replied, ”I think it would be a good chance to see how much I’ve improved since I was with my late master.” Maasaa looked up trying to picture the events of what a chuunin exam might be. He could only think of battles between two people or possibly those hooded black messengers who’d proven quite strong. Whatever they were Maasaa wanted a piece. "How does someone gain entrance to these exams?"

The a small piece of the chicken jumped out from the pan and into the fire... Considering the words, the Chef thought for a second. He had noted that this person had potential, "Hmmm, to gain entrance into the Chuunin Exams, you must first be a Genin, or rather an official Shinobi of a Ninja Village. The road to this is tough in of itself. Hue Hue Hue... Must have loyalty to the village as well. Would you be willing to prove these things?"

The sizzle and smells coming from the cooking could be described as intoxicating to an already hungry indavidual. The soup broth steamed in its pot, and the food was nearly done...

The smells from the kitchen were almost distracting enough to miss the conversation he was in. However a quick shake of the head let him catch what the chef had said. Become an official ninja of the village. It wasn’t really something he’d thought of doing. His parents weren’t part of a village and he turned out okay. Maasaa paused thinking about his family, they had been nice but they were also how he ended up here. He’d been abandoned perhaps people of a village were less cruel than them. Maybe joining a ninja village would be a step in the right direction. There were still many things he was unsure of.

Maasaa fidgeted in his seat thinking about his answer. ”How does someone prove their loyalty?” He asked before rising form his seat to stand upon it. Leaning over the counter he tried to look very close at the back of the chef’s head intending for him to turn around. ”I’d like to try and prove those things if someone in this village can tell me what this is.” A small portion of his chakra moved into his eyes as their color changed from black to red. Two tomoe’s appeared around each tomoe. Maasaa had yet to learn what his eyes held or someone to tell him. Perhaps this place would be different.

Description: Sharingan (写輪眼 "Copy Wheel Eye,") 2nd Tomoe The eyes of the user turns red in color with a black pupil in the middle. Two Tomoe (Comma) appears along the opposite ends of the eyes. Each eye gains two Tomoe.
Able to see through "B" Rank and lower GenJutsus.
Able to predict 3 movements per opponent.
Able to copy a technique to learn. Every Training Point User earns they get an Additional Point to learn the technique.
Additional Point does Not go into User's Class, nor Mastery.
Additional Point takes away from learning Capacity such as universal technique points and non mastery points.
May only copy Releases (If you know Release first), Perceptions (If you know Perception first), and Basic non Chakra Related Fighting Styles and TaiJutsu Techniques.
May copy Technique Trees if user learns the first technique that starts the Technique Tree.
Does not Copy Multi Ranked Techniques, except the first initial technique.
Does not Copy Selfish Techniques

Must watch technique being performed at all times whether it is Playable Character or Non Playable Character. Must not take eyes off of person performing said technique.

The Chef came back with a bowl of Roman. It was filled with meats, and vegetables along with the noodles and broth. It steamed as the Chef placed it down along with the chopsticks. He then seen the eye change. "Well I am not to knowledgeable, but it appears you have some clan genealogy within your blood. The higher ups would know a thing or two but they really don't interact with strangers...hue hue hue... He said as he turned and went into the back room.

The Chef dipped into the back room for a while. Nothing much could be heard. Ambient noises from the streets. It took a good fifteen minutes before the chef emerged once again. With a huge stack of forms he set upon the table with a pen. "Fill these out. With this you can be a shinobi, but you will be on probation. You must complete a trial of loyalty and I think the Chuunin Exams would be an excellent trial. You only requirement is to come back alive..." This should speak to how difficult the Exams were. But aside from that the forms were extensive. Any knowledge of ones past, what food one likes, what kind of skills one has, what are they specialized in, names, contacts, family members, anything and everything about themselves. "Please done lie on these forms, the higher ups look down on that sort of thing...Oh oh oh, where are my manners, fill them out after you have done eating please." The chef noted.

Maasaa looked down at the bowl with a smile before reverting back to his original seating position. A small “tch” noise could be heard from Maasaa as he still didn’t learn much. It helped to know he was born with something but perhaps the higher ups could help him. This chef was very secretive about the village for having so much information. It seems like he stumbled upon the right restaurant.

The chef disappeared for a little bit. Maasaa took this opportunity to give the ramen a nice long slow inhale enjoying its smell to the fullest. It had been a while since he had a meal that looked this appetizing. Maasaa first used his spoon to taste the broth before breaking apart his chopsticks. The soup tasted great and he was sure the rest would as well. Before he’d gotten too involved in his meal the chef came back with a huge stack of forms and a pen. Maasaa was certainly surprised at the amount of forms. What he was more interested in was this trial of loyalty, how could they test a newcomer practically a stranger to the village.

Maasaa continued to eat his food as he looked over the first paper from the stack. It seemed like fairly basic stuff. He wouldn’t lie on the forms but he probably wouldn’t include everything about himself. There were still things he didn’t know and had to find out. However at about halfway through his noodles he put the chopsticks down. Picking up the pen Maasaa began to write down answers and fill out his information on the many sheets. It went much faster than he had thought when first seeing the stack. With most of his information written down he pushed the papers to the side placing the pen on top of them. ”These should be all done and make those guys happy I think.” Maasaa said as he went to finish off what was left of his ramen.

The chef looked them over and nodded. Disappearing once again to the back room. He came back and presented Maasaa with an Iwagakure Headband under a kitchen towerl. "This is probationary. If you survive the exams, then we accept you as a Shinobi of Iwagakure..." he said quietly. Thus the beginning of a grand journey was sure to ensue for the estranged Uchiha...

Surprise was certainly one of the things on his face when the headband was revealed. The look of surprise quickly turned into a smile as he took the headband from the chef. The bowl of ramen next to him was empty not one noodle remained in the bowl. ”Thanks mister.” Maasaa said happily just then realizing he didn’t even know the chef’s name. Reaching into his money pouch he wasn’t really sure how much he owed the man so he pulled out a bunch around 1,500 ryo. After being fed so well and given a little bit of information he was feeling generous. On top of that he was going to be headed to the chuunin exams! He’d only been a genin for like 30 seconds but still it was exciting! Whatever was extra the chef could keep for all he cared. ”The food was great! You’ll be seeing me again.” Maasaa smiled as he stood from his chair headband still in hand and left the little restaurant to see to get prepared for the exams.
