[The Bearer of Bad News]

Upgrading Schatzi ( The Bearer of Bad News )'s Boomerang, Average (Overview) from thanksgiving twice to Boomerang, Average (Superior) with +1/4 to Range Increment and +2 against Automatic Destruction Techniques. The Bearer of Bad News will also be getting the event credit.

Close to my hometown stands a detached church tower, surrounded by a graveyard. It is an ancient place. A church and graveyard had been there since 1005 and the detached tower you see is from somewhere around 1300. For 1009 years the graves have been stacked here on top of other graves. Layer upon layer of the dead. The church lost its function over time and a part of it was demolished, leaving only the tower and the graveyard. Despite the nearest urban area being only five minutes away and the tower being visible from the highway nearby, once you are there it is impossible not to feel detached from civilization. It is surrounded on all sides by trees, that somehow manage to drain away all the sound from the road nearby.

Of course the place was believed to be haunted as a result of the desecration of the church and I used to believe that too. Witte Wieven (White women) , would rise from the grave if one disturbed them at night. They would rise from the grave and drag you underground, literally to an early grave. Apparently they really had something against men and they are especially the kind of people not to go there at night.* On Christmas they would also rise from the grave to dance among the tombstones. The prime time to stay away as far as possible.

I now know that these ghosts are benevolent and like men, or at least me since I survived being there at night several times so far. I must have been around eleven years old when we were dropped off here during summer camp with the task to get back on our own. Not much later we were assaulted by one of the camp leaders under a white sheet. Rather than fleeing however we jumped on her and wrestled him, as it turned out to be, to the ground. Do I still believe in the ghosts? Perhaps. Perhaps not. I am not sure. But what I do know is that they are not going to drag me underground. And that is at least one fear gone. Oh and yes, the picture is the actual place.

I have a rather odd story to tell. Mine isn't holiday related in any way though it does involve family. I must have been about 8 years old when my brother first told me I was left on the door step by gypsies. We were going around the house when he told me and I had always noticed there was more of my brothers work on the walls etc than mine and he used this as an advantage. For the next month or two I would begin acting out, I was told by my brother that if I asked mum and dad that they had to give me up for adoption again.

Over the two months I was acting out I slowly got worse and worse even to the point where I would hide the wooden spoons and metal spatulas they used to punish me with. Of course now days what I done as messing up then wad nothing too bad like calling my family names etc but by those standards I was a rebel.

It wasn't until one day that my family decided to talk to me about me out bursts and I began crying while telling them its because I was left on the door steps by gypsies, and that's why you love Freddie (my brother) more. Continuing my crying I told them I'm sorry and that I will get a bag as I had to leave now I knew... of course this was complete shit seeing that I'm almost a mimirror image of my dad.

After the conversation they began pointing out that half the work up was mine and that Freddie just said he done it all etc and when they found out what he had said to me I remember laughing till I cried at all the trouble he was in and all the bonuses and treats I got in re assurance of them telling me that I was actually their son.




Could the event credit go on here please and I don't want an item upgrade bud, don't use them enough

In my family and many others its considered a little rude to be yawning with ones mouth open. So a story has been passed down from parents to their children, I learned it from my brother, but I do not know from where he learned about it.

The story goes likes this.

Whenever a person opens up his mouth to yawn, the mouth is a possible enterance for evil spirit that wishes to corrupt you. So unless you protect your mouth using your palm of your hand, the evil spirits in the area will fly into the mouth and make you slightly more evil every time.

So when I was about four years old and had both my hands occupied by toys while yawning, I freaked out. At first I just covered my mouth. But as I thought on the evil spirit, I realized that it might not be able to come out if I held my hand there. So I opened my mouth wide open and began to realize that it is in fact harmless to do, just not pleasant for onlookers.

Let me think here.

I was in Elementary school at the time. My parents were still married. At the time I believed in Santa Claus and had good reason for it. My family tradition for Christmas was to go see my Grandma where the 40 members gather around which I told before in another event. Well, whenever I got home Santa came by and placed all the presents underneath the tree. I thought it was magical, beautiful. I always wondered how this was possible. My mom and dad never left, hell it took a 30 minute drive just to get to my Grandmother's house so it would have taken an hour and my mom and dad were always there and never gone.

Well years passed by and my parents Divorced. I was still in Elementary school and sadly my mom just told me Santa wasn't real. It shattered my childhood honestly but mainly it was because my mom was just lazy to continue the tradition I guess.

Years later however I figured out how those presents showed up underneath the tree when we were gone. My father would always tell me to wait for them in the car as they were right behind me. I would do that. I go to the car, wait for them for maybe 2 minutes and then they would come right out. After that we would drive off. During that time they would take out the presents, and place them underneath the tree. It was a good thing I didn't come back in. I was a good kid back then.

I believed that there was a santa when I was younger. Mom would always send me to bed early on Christmas Eve and force me to remain there until morning. Although I was very young at the time, Dad had left and was married to my mom’s best friend, but Nana always came to stay for Christmas anyway. But one night, Mom sent me to bed as she normally did and went back to watch TV or whatever. However, I did go to sleep, yes but not before I set an alarm. It was quiet enough so I could hear it (hiding it under the pillow XD) and when it went off at midnight, I crept down the hall only to find mom and nana placing the presents under the tree and whispering.

I was shocked and actually started crying if I remember correctly. I even went out there and demanded to know where Santa was. Mom looked angry but told me that he dropped the presents off and couldn’t stay. “He left a few minutes ago.. now why are you out of bed this late?!” she said. I ran to the window and looked out to try and catch a glimpse of Santa but he wasn’t even in view. Nana shook her head and told mom to give it up. So they both told me Santa wasn’t real. I actually took to it immediately since I had my own suspicions but the blow still hurt.

Now when I think about it, I feel like a total moron lol. But yeah, that’s my story XD And I'll take the event credit on this account. But what do you mean about upgrading weapons?

Upgrade only applies along the column of your item type.

So, a superior weapon will get (+10 Striking or 1/4 Range Inc Increase) plus (+2 vs break or 1/4 Range Inc Increase)
