If you are not on the above list, you cannot participate in the Snowball Fight. The reason for this is that these people will be choosing who they throw their snowballs to! If you didn't sign up, you aren't on the list, and people don't know they can throw the snowballs at you. Make sense? Good!
Now then! For those who have signed up, the rules are as follows...
- This will be a Submission event now. This means that you'll be submitting the people being hit by the snowballs to Gift Giver.
- Each of the participants can throw as many snowballs as they'd like. But the point values of the snowballs are determined by you.
- Each person has 1000 points. There are two ways to lose points, as stated below.
- 1) The most obvious way to lose points is getting hit by snowballs. The point values of the snowballs are determined by the thrower, and therefore, whatever they throw, you lose that many points.
- 2) The other way to lose points is by throwing snowballs. Yes, you get to determine the point values, but those points are deducted from your score. So if you throw a snowball worth 30 points, you lose 30 points, and the person hit will lose 30 points.
- Every snowball has a chance to be a critical hit. This means that the point value will be doubled. You'll only lose what you chose to put in, but the person hit will be hit for double. There is a 10% chance to be hit by these. So some could be lucky, some could not.
- Every snowball also has a separate 10% chance to not take any points from the thrower.
- Dice rolls would be on a 100 side scale. 1-10 would be Critical Hit, 91-100 Would be Free throws.
- The point values can only range from 25 to 100. This is to prevent sending out snowballs that are worth all points to knock out another person.
- Everyone has 24 hours to throw their snowballs. Once you've PMed me, you cannot change the amounts or the people they are going to unless there is a mistake. (As in you listed a point value but not a name, and vice versa).
- The names of who hit who will be posted up UNLESS You specifically ask for them to remain anonymous. You can't, however, choose certain people. Either all will remain anonymous or all will be made public. If you don't tell me one way or another, then it will be assumed that the names can be posted.
- You can only launch one snowball per person. This means that the maximum amount of snowballs able to be thrown is Eighteen (18). {There's 19 participants, can't hit yourself, so 18 possible snowballs}
- Finally, you MUST throw at least Three (3) snowballs. The choice of how many points these are worth is up to you, but you must at least throw three. Failure to throw three snowballs will cause you to lose credit for this event.
And lastly... The prize for this will be Ryo, as it is the easiest to give in this state. It will be your point totals multiplied by 100. This means, if you were to not lose any points (Which would require you to be extremely lucky), the maximum amount of Ryo is 100,000 Ryo! And the person with the highest number of points will have their ryo amount doubled. The lowest amount of points you can have is 50. You cannot go below that point. Which means everyone will win at least 5,000 Ryo. This is all about strategizing and luck. You can spend all of your points throwing snowballs, or you can try to conserve them, hoping that you won't get hit. After at least 24 hours, I will be posting up the results. The exception to this? If I receive all 19 PMs back before the 24 hour mark hits, there's no point in continuing the event as no one else can participate. In which case, then I could end the event early. But that will all depend on you.
As stated in the first post, you will all receive credit for this event toward the 24 event run as well as an entry into the 5 Grand Prize Packages but only if you throw at least three snowballs and send in the PM within the time limit. Signing up alone will not give you credit for the event. So get out there and let the Snowball Fight BEGIN!
