Coup D'état: The Foundations
S-rank
Sunagakure
A movement is starting the bloody sands of Sunagakure; headed by a Shinobi of ill repute, yet remarkable charm. With the current Kazekage missing; the council is up in arms and trying to figure out what should be done with the village, as there has been a distinct lack of reliable leadership as of late. In regards to this, as the village has waned in political power recently, an elect was decided upon by the seven elders of the Sunagakure council. The woman chosen is a sharp, tactical and ambitious woman who believes in her own version of justice with absolute faith. Known to all of the villagers as Gallows, her plans are to perform in depth background checks and detain all those with unclean pasts in order to create a village free from criminals. The council, and much of the village agrees and welcomes these changes; but there are those that care not for the rules and restrictions being imposed on them, and are planning greater things for the village.
Diomed Rakhsha; a native of the desert; a shinobi of Sunagakure. This is one man who cannot stand the thought of his being oppressed by his own leaders, and has come to a decision. He wants to take over. Having never been one for rules and regulations; plans of taking over the village are forming in his mind, and he plans on acquiring some other people who share the same ambition as he possesses. Preliminary observation is of course needed, and he plans on beginning everything the day of the official inauguration of Gallows, and location like minded shinobi who are interested in seizing power for themselves. Word has been moving among the ranks, and has eventually reached his ears about the date; which is just after Christmas. Shinobi are being recruited for basic body guard duty; nothing of great importance, but it allows access to the tower, where research can be done.
Already well known in the underbelly of the city; Diomed has many ears listening out for him in the streets, and any Shinobi that have show interest in anarchy will be found. Through his sources, any who show interest will find themselves 'discovered' by him and recruited. Once he has the four other apostates who are willing and able to fulfil his goals; then he can begin his rise to the top, bringing the faithful with him, and casting those who try to stop him aside. The gathering of his companions is the first step towards reaching his goal of ousting the council and the temporary Kazekage.

The Plan
- An investor for the village has come from the Land of Bird with many riches that are ripe for the plucking. Naturally, his guard is not one that is easily broken. The riches need to be seized so they can be used to afford the group surveillance equipment.
- When the equipment is in their hands, the four are to gain entrance into the locked Kazekage tower during the inauguration. Once within the tower, the four of them are to split up to acquire four different pieces of information.
- Once the information is acquired, the guillotine falls upon the necks of the village leaders with Diomed sitting on the throne.

The NPCs
Gallows
S
Gallows is a straight-forward, practical woman who despises corruption in all of its flavours. Ideally she is the prime candidate as Kazekage, under her charge the village would undergo brilliant revitalization and growth. Her authority is indomitable; and those who hear her speak are often swayed by her righteous vigour and her promises. Although she cannot stand those who are dishonest, her knowledge of the Shinobi world and the need for discretion has called for a 'transparent' Sunagakure, that shows a more moral side of the Shinobi world. A mere distraction for those who do not wish to believe their village involves itself in the darker side. In fact, under Gallows; the Falcon and Cat ANBU have more freedom than ever when it comes to their hunts and interrogation. The Kunoichi is not someone who should be messed with, and if there is even the hint of some sort of aggression towards her village, her powers come down like the fist of god.

Geed Roch
Rich Noble
Useless
Geed is a pile of garbage of a man. With no skills or abilities of his own, he squanders his riches on silly things, and has an army of slaves to his name. With money beyond the wildest dreams of most, he buys anything with a price, even those who do not know their prices are shocked by the money he offers, often buying the help of those wishing to rob him. Of course then he has his faithful kill the new recruits to save on money, giving them bonuses. Essentially he is a rat of a man who is unable to protect himself. At all times there are four guards, each B-rank in skill, one of every branch of the ninja arts, and a concubine who is also a medic.

A
The Iron Wall
Meroch is a monster of a man, standing at seven and a half feet and weighing in at ten pounds shy of five hundred, and he is not aware of his size at all. Suffering from Somatoparaphrenia, he is not in complete control of his body, and no matter who says, he is convinced that his arms are not his. This has proven to be a difficult thing to overcome to battle, but it has lead to some amusing results, such as often getting in fights with his arms and being unable to fight them. Luckily he is incredibly strong, hailing from the Kamyuja clan, and is capable of giving and receiving massive damage. Although he is quite rough around the edges, he often can be found telling tall tales to his favourite member of the group, the small yet gullible Heather. In lieu of of horses or animals, Meroch pulls the carriage for his boss.

Helga Simpelry
B
Flower in the Wind
A girl with her head in the clouds at all times. Although she is self described as a dreamer, most people just call her what she really is. An idiot. Often she tries to finish the sentence of others, and usually just makes a complete fool of herself, but she often goes about it in the worst way possible, and even among her small team, she is quite unable to predict what any of her companions are going to say next. Loud and brazen though, her skills are not a joke, and she is capable of impressive feats, especially when using her favoured Fuuton release. She follows Geed because she thinks he is cute, which has never failed to surprise anyone she has told. Often she can be found travelling in the carriage that Geed rides in, flirting with him and failing at gathering his affections.

Heather Pennyfeather
B
A mind is a terrible thing to waste
The smartest member of the crew by a great length, Heather hangs around because she views her boss and the team she works with as amazing psychological studies. Because of her great interest with the human mind, she is exemplary when it comes to Genjutsu techniques, and has a plethora of jutsu primed to cause as much mental stress as she can, simply to see how different people react to different terror stimuli. For all of her intelligence though, she is very naive and easy to control, believing a lot about what people say and loves to hear stories where everyone dies. Her favourite member of the team is Meroch, to whom she clings to and asks to tell her stories.

Gregory Gregory
B
I know I have two first names
Every group has one member that they really all despise. Gregory Gregory happens to be that one. Although he is quite smart, he believes his ideas and words are superior to the rest of the group, and believes himself to be the leader of the group, often interjecting ideas and claiming that they were his own and that the team should be happy he thought of them. Although he skilled in a variety of techniques from clans around the world, he still is shockingly racist and impetuous when it comes to people who are not from where he is from, and will never mask these traits. The others in the group don't talk to him other than when they have to, so he is often found sitting on the top of the carriage reading propaganda.
