The door to the tower slides open slowly as a cloaked figure steps in softly. Closing the door behind her Michiko moves over to the waiting room chair and takes a seat slowly, gently pushing the cloak around enough to allow her to sit comfortably. She had the feeling she'd forgotten something. Not sure what it was Michiko decided it would be best to wait nearby and retrace her steps mentally. She was in no real rush but something was off. Lifting back the hood slowly she gazes around hesitantly. Michiko didn't go without her AnBu initiate mask very often, but she was sure she didn't need it in this situation. Leaning back in the chair Michiko closed her eyes and tried to rest for a moment, mentally retracing her steps. If only she could remember what she'd forgotten.

Shenjie wandered into the tower with his usual sense of zeal and excitement. He felt the vibrations of the Pedestrians as he walked along the cool stone floor. His bare feet stomped confidently along the ground as he approached what felt like a land mass that reached up like a desk of sorts that might house somebody to help him out. His black headband was securely wrapped over his useless eyes as he approached the desk with his sleeveless gi upon his body. He wore an empty butt bag securely on his back fixed to his black belt that hung around his waist. "I've been summonsed...or so I have been told, can't really read so I would appreciate an invoice next time." He said jokingly as he placed down the letter that had been sent to summon him to be part of a delegation to the leaf village. His physical physique and listening prowess probably was not the reason for being asked to attend however it would be nice to spend some time with the Tsuchikage.

As he spoke and awaited a response, Shenjie utilized the sound vibrations to analyze the room around him. His vivid memory allowed him to hold onto what the room looked like as he noticed how everything was shaped, including the figure that was opposite him. Once he got to know some of these individuals, he was sure that he could begin to memorize their hight, and physical features so that he could identify them like every other person in the world could. He was excited for his first expedition outside of the village.

It took some time getting things figured out. I read over the note given to me by the Kazekage a few times before getting my own letter typed out. It was time to send my own letter to the Hokage. I knew I'd be taking a group of Shinobi with me when I went, if only to provide them the chance to see another area. But I had to wonder who I would take. I chuckled to myself, thinking I'd just take the next three people that entered the tower, if they'd go. Regardless, I wrote out my own letter before sending it off. An owl from the village took off in flight, bound for the tower of the Hokage.

[Just waiting for the final person to enter the tower, then we can get this mission on the road. Please keep in mind that there are going to be the four of us, and it looks like four from Leaf there at the same time, so please be patient whilst there.]

Godric came into the tower. He had overslept and just got word how long it had been. Six months is a long time to oversleep but for a 10,000 year old immortal this was a possibility. Looking around he spied a few faces he recognized, this was at least a good thing. Not too much has changed, sometimes he found entire lineages have swapped power structures when he wakes...

Although the thought had hit him, the village was without a Tsuchikage for a time. There was no way that he would have kept the title. Such a shame that he could not achieve some of his goals, but this fact would not deter Godric from continuing his course. Closing his eyes he tried to make a connection to the assistant with the telepathic communication network that he had set up.

Letting an invisable thought bubble of chakra flow from himself to the one known as Brian Sankuchi. This was the first assistant in the tower "I am sorry I have been gone for so long, I can assume the tower power structure has switched hands, may I speak with the Tsuchikage..." The words of course would be without sound or even moving of lips. Simply a transfer of thought to another...

"Sir. There are a couple of messages for you."

Said an ANBU who had just entered my office. I looked up and wondered what they could be. I expected a response from the Leaf village, but it appeared that was not the case.

"Shenjie Shitakuma has said that they were summoned here. I don't recall an order for his summoning, but those were his words. Furthermore, former Tsuchikage Godric Hyuuga is in the lobby as well asking to speak with you."

I was surprised to hear that Godric had been downstairs, but realized this might be of use. I knew that I had not summoned Shenjie, but it was possible that a miscommunication was made in his arrival. I wanted one more though...

"Are there any other Shinobi in the lobby?"

I asked him. He nodded before giving his response.

"Yes, Milord. Michiko Hyuuga came in a few moments before Shenjie and Godric but has not approached the desk. She merely sat down and stayed silent."

I thought of his response before deciding to give my own.

"Very well. Inform them all that I want them up in my office at once. And... Collect Michiko's information first. It appears she is not on my roster. Clearly with the civil war and the riots some information was lost. I wish to make my roster current. The three of them as well as myself will be taking a trip to Konohagakure, so start prepping their paperwork for departure but do not inform them of this."

I explained. He saluted before heading out the door. It took moments to make his way down the elevator. The assistant had merely told Godric and Shenjie to hold for a bit. But as he entered, he called out to the three Shinobi in the lobby.

"Shenjie, Godric... The Rokudaime has requested your presence in his office. Please head up the elevator at once. Michiko, the Rokudaime has also requested your presence but asks you to first log your Shinobi information for the village's roster before joining the other two. Please make your way to the desk to do so."

He then stepped to the side to allow them to pass. In the meantime, I had a mission to write up. The four of us would all receive credit for what could very well be quite the dangerous mission or not. I wasn't sure where it would lead, but I knew I'd be doing my best to keep things as diplomatic as possible.

[Michiko, feel free to just post in the Shinobi Roster before making your post to head up to the office.]

"Alright...I will make my way there" Shenjie said making a stiff bow before he began to analyze the vibrations created by some fellow who obviously carried the title of Godric, according to the clerk, and who was also requested in the office of the lord Tsuchikage. Shenjie sighed as he utilized his bare feet to feel his way around the tower, notably looking for the elevator of sorts that would take them up the the Kage's office. Taking in a deep breath, he worked on pure memorization as he made his way forward presumably with Godric who was giving off a creepy vibe. Shenjie tried to keep his heart steady however as he stepped onto the metal elevator, his muscles were tense with apprehension as he prepared for whatever it was that the Tsuchikage desired of the trio.

OCC: sorry it's short, but I'm just trying to move things along.

Godric followed suit. He knew where the office was, knew where the elevator was, and knew about many other secrets within the tower. But for now it was to go to the kage's office. He was pleased that at least the Rokudaime took up the mantel of Tsuchikage.

Making his way to the elevator with Shenjie and perhaps Michiko. The door closing, the bell tolling, it would eventually raise to the floor of the office of course. His eye's spying the new face of Shenjie. Once the elevator took its course, he stepped off and came to the door of the kage office, and with a knock....

Snapping to attention and pulling herself out of her daze after hearing her name Michiko pops to a standing position. Fill out paperwork? Did she not already do this? Shaking her head slightly as if to knock the dust out she gives a slight shrug and glides over to the desk. After a few minutes of filling out paperwork she hands the clipboard and pen back to the secretary and scoots off behind Godric. She'd had dealings with him on occasion in the past and some light interaction with the current kage. The other shinobi however was new to her, she'd not met this “Shenjie” before. No matter. Remaining silent but leaving her hood dropped back to keep her head/face exposed and appearing non-agressive she simply follows the two shinobi towards the elevator and rides it up with them saying nothing but giving a cursory nod upon eye contact. Once reaching the Kage's floor Michiko followed the group out but maintained alertness by paying attention to her surroundings. You never know when the kage is going to change his mind and decide to eat your face. But maybe that was just residual tension from Godric's reign as kage. (OOC: Planning a wedding is hectic. Having almost 3 weeks before the event is also hectic. My appologies)

I waited patiently for the three to arrive. They would find no resistance in getting to the office, and as the knock on the door happened, a vine would extend from my finger to open the door. The door gently opened and they would find me sitting behind my desk, awaiting their arrival. Three chairs sat in front of my near circular desk.

"Please. Have a seat. I have some important information to discuss with you all."

I said, waiting for them to enter and either take a seat or refuse it. Regardless of their choice, I would look toward the three of them and explain why they were here.

"Recently I had a visit from the Kazekage of Sunagakure. As you might know, Sunagakure has been an ally of ours for quite some time. Apparently, the Kage had a recent run-in with shinobi from Konohagakure, another of our allies. Being the one who initially set up the alliance with Konohagakure, this bothered me greatly. It would not do well for our own village if two of our allied villages were at odds with one another. Which would mean either getting the two to ally, or breaking the alliance with one. I have chosen to hear Konohagakure out. But I will not be going there alone. That is where you come in."

I then handed a piece of paper to each of them, detailing the mission itself. I would also explain the mission, so they would hear it in my words rather than just being written on paper.

"This mission is simply an escort mission at face value. However, you must be cautious as things could turn to a much more deadly outcome quickly. If discussions with the Hokage do not end peacefully, you must be prepared to fight. There is no doubt in my mind that the Hokage will be attending this meeting alone. It is likely that he has assembled a group of his own Shinobi to guard him. We will also be on their turf, giving them the field advantage. I intend to do everything I can to maintain both alliances. Konohagakure and Sunagakure are our only allied villages, and as it is now, I do not want that to end. But the choice is yours. If you choose to attend this mission, I shall aid in the purchasing of any equipment that you might need, within reason. If you come with a bill for 300,000 Ryo, I'd expect you to foot half of the bill. Aside from that... Will you accept this mission and join me to the embassy of Konohagakure?"

I then finished, allowing each one in turn to give their response. I needed to know who was to be a part of this mission and who was not. If I needed to find another on short notice, I would do so. But I had to be quick. I had already sent my letter to Konohagakure. I would need to get going soon.

Description: After receiving a letter from the Kazekage, the Rokudaime wishes to speak with the Hokage to discuss some troubling matters. Due to the nature of traveling across country lines, the Rokudaime has asked to have others accompany him in order to reach the embassy of Konohagakure safely. Should negotiations fail and things turn to aggressive matters, fighting will likely include being against the guards of the embassy, the Hokage, and what will likely be an envoy of Konohagakure shinobi accompanying the Hokage.
Restrictions: Until given the word from the Tsuchikage, all Iwagakure shinobi are to remain peaceful and civil. Any threatening acts during this unless the word has been given will result in immediate mission failure.
Reward: 40,000 Ryo
GM Required: No

Godric indeed took a seat in front of the desk. It was good to see the Rokudaime once again. The Rokudaime had earned a sense of respect from Godric a while ago. One does not simply get the title of a dignified kage and return to the seat on a whim. But his posture switched as he had realized the last six months must have been a bit stressful for the Rokudaime. And from what it sounded like, age old alliances were starting to crack...

This does not bode well for Godric's stomach. If something were to happen with the relationship between Iwagakure and Konoha then his own tie to the Hyuuga Mansion could be at jeopardy. Within deep thought Godric though about the proposal. No matter how he seen it, a body guard was indeed needed. Not knowing who the Hokage is or their escort was always a risk. Taking a look at the other two, Godric decided that it would be best if he accompanied the Rokudaime.

With a nod, "I will accept the mission. If you deem it worthy, I would like to scout ahead to the embassy to make sure it isn't a trap. Michiko here is connected to my telepathic network, so if you three have any trouble making it there, I can be contacted instantly. And..." Godric paused.

There was something hanging on the end of his tongue but he was unsure. Closing his eyes and pressing his index and thumb against his forehead he thought for a bit. Shaking his head he waved the thought away, "Nevermind, I'll be prepared shortly." Standing up he headed for the door, "If there will be anything else?" and if there was not, Godric would be out the door, down the elevator, out the tower, and through the G.R.I. a few things were needed for this trip...

Shenjie sighed as he noticed a metallic presence and Godric enter the room. Following suit, Shenjie decided to also enter and take the offered seat in a polite gesture. "Thank you." He said in a very enunciated fashion as he rigidly sat down and listens to the whole overview of their mission. Protecting the Tsuchikage sounded as noble as any other mission he could take. Briskly standing up, Shenjie clasped his hands so that they were about at his center of mass and bowed politely.

"I would be honored to accept this mission, it is a noble goal to better village relations, and to accompany you in doing so." Shenjie said as he utilized the tremors in the ground to visualize the room as best he could. Being blind could be a disadvantage, yet his gift of heightened senses gave him the ability to fight as any other shinobi could. As he returned to a standing posture, he swiftly turned and began to face the elevator he had recently gotten out of. "If there is nothing else lord Tsuchikage, I will go and prepare..." Shenjie said sternly as he awaited to see if the Tsuchikage had anything new else to say before he departed or if there was anything more to talk about. Shenjie however didn't have any questions as of yet and would gladly do as his Kage requested.

If the Tsuchikage deemed it acceptable for him to take his leave, Shenjie would make his way down to the first floor where he would simply address the clerk. "Hello, I would like to accept this "C" ranked mission please." He said knowing that he could effectively use all of his time and complete the mission before their departure...not to mention the Shitakuma was short on Ryo. All the same Shenjie awaited the clerks response so that he could leave to not only prepare for their big mission, but also Prepare in a general sense that would make him a stronger Shinobi.

Description: Throughout Iwagakure, the influence of the Shooting Stars still stands strong. Various groups of protesters can still be found throughout the streets, rioting and hurting others. We need people to control them as calmly as possible. We aren't looking for people to die here.
Restrictions: Reward reduced by 1,000 Ryo for every protester killed. There are 5 groups of protesters to be dealt with.
Reward: 8,000 Ryo (3,250 Ryo to Treasury)
GM Required: Yes (Tsuchikage or GM/Staff)

As the door opens and the kage greets them Michiko's eyes dart around taking in the surroundings. Upon entering she watched Godric take his seat and thus she followed suit taking the seat next to him. Listening intently to the tsuchikage, Michiko nods along and accepts the paper handed to her glancing it over as he spoke. Setting the paper on the corner of the Kage's desk Michiko continued to listen along as the explanation was brought to a finish. The kage needed a body guard, or apparently three. This was to be a peaceful mission but did have potential to contain less diplomatic means if the situation came to it. The mission was not presented as an outright kill order, but Michiko could see through the outer layer of this mission like damp rice paper. The kage needed to get close to the Hokage. Probably to kill him or her. A devious grin spread across Michiko's face at this thought and she simply nodded along giving the “I understand” expression with her eyes. It appeared Godric also understood the truth behind this mission as well. The fact the Tsuchikage kept referencing the possible battle setup and emphasized “peace” on the mission simply oozed with subtext. Obviously this mission was designed as a “peaceful” one simply as a ruse, we were going to kill the Hokage. Michiko was ok with this. " It would be my honor to assist in this mission. I am ready when ever you are ." She stated with a grin. She didnt have any need for any real supplies at the moment, she had all she needed. Copious amounts of explosive tags, her insects, and herself. When godric left Michiko watched. When the new shinobi she'd never met before left she took note of his posture, and the way he walked. Something was different about him, but to be fair something was different about everyone in this day and age. Michiko was last to leave as she prepared herself for the battle. She planned on meeting everyone at the designated spot once the Kage was ready.

Shenjie returned with a sense of zeal as he looked for a new mission to take on. Feeling his body was ready to be put to the test, the blind Shitakuma entered the tower happily looking for someone who could help him read the missions board. Being blind made reading quite difficult for most Shitakuma who had not spent time specifically in utilizing their unique chakra to read. Being that as it may, Shenjie quietly awaited someone to help him. "Excuse me? Is there anyone out there who wouldn't mind helping a blind fellow read the missions board...or binder...or whatever they put
The missions into. Having a good idea of what it was that he wanted to do, he hoped that there would be a mission that peaked his fancy. "Anyone?" He asked hoping for someone to come along and assist him.

Having been sitting against the edge of the buildin near the doorway for a while contemplating what next to do Ishiko rubbed her fingers together absentmindedly grinding bits of sand gently against one another creating a tingling vibration in the sand that composed her fingertips. Almost ready to give up and just go home for the day as she'd felt she'd accomplished nothing a shoeless shinobi strode into the building past her with his eyes closed. Having nothing better to do Ishiko shrugged and slinked in behind him to watch, she was bored and the commoners walking around outside were even more boring than she'd hoped for and this one might be fun to watch for a bit. The man was asking for help reading and called himself blind. Ironically Ishiko's eyes popped open with realization. That was why his eyes were closed. But it didnt explain the shoeless nature. But this fellow was asking for help with missions! Finally! Something to do! ANd besides, just because she was composed completely of sand didnt mean she was completely heartless.... per-say. "You poor thing! I would be glad to help." Ishiko stated in a completely non-sarcastic tone as she bound towards the man. Anyone simply watching her move would think nothing of the movements as she bounded gracefully along, but anyone paying attention to the sound made as she moved might pick up on the fact she sounds like a large sand-bag impacting the ground with each hop. The visual and the audio appearances did not match by any normal means unless one was familiar with the anatomy of the Sadojin. Reaching the man in no time she peeked over to the board and began spouting some various missions off reading them to him so he could choose. Once he'd chosen Ishiko would offer to join him on the mission.

[The Blind Beast]

Shenjie heard someone speak in his general direction which was kind enough seeing as he had just been asking for help moments ago. Opening his pale white eyes the blind Shitakuma was suddenly met with a strange grinding like sound that would have been negligible to the normal human auditory system, however his birthright made that scenario quite different. In fact the constant grinding sound painted a picture of a person that consisted of a bunch of what looked like tiny particles. That confused Shenjie as he slowly turned to face the direction that the sounds originated from.

"Thanks...uh...ma'am...I think." He said unsure of both the consistency of the fellows body and it's gender as he allowed her foot steps to create vibrations that would normally paint a more vivid picture for him as she approached. This however was folly as the vibration appeared fuzzy, even with his expertise on tremor sense. This person was obviously not normal, and even more so not completely human. Being as it was Shenjie still appreciated the kind gesture as she began to read off missions for him. "Hmm lets see." He said carefully listening to each mission she listed off carefully. All of them Seemed fairly tempting, but which one to choose? He thought to himself as he heard something interesting. "Wait? Something about riots?" Shenjie asked as he mentally memorized the mission's title with his edict memory. He thought for a moment before nodding his head in approval. He was definitely in for beating some sense into some fools any day of the week, Shenjie thought as he chose the mission he wanted.

"Thank you kind stranger, you have helped me greatly." Shenjie said with a slight bow. "My name is Shenjie by the way, Shenjie Shitakuma." He said tacking on his clan's title so that she understood his blind proposition. Shenjie thought of the daunting task ahead of him and sighed before quickly processing what it was that this stranger might offer. "Say, would you like to go on this mission with me?" Shenjie asked trying his best to keep his face in the fellow's general direction by utilizing the sound waves of his voice to see where the fellow was standings. "It would be good to have some company after all." He finished rubbing the back of his neck with a hardy laugh as he awaited the response of the kind stranger.

"Ma'am? Im not THAT OLD." Ishiko stated with laughter in her voice as she chuckled slightly to herself afterward. "But yes. I identify as female. I'm Ishiko Ippanteki nice to meet you."She confirmed sweetly. The blind man seem'd to be intrigued by the riot mission, and Ishiko was perfectly fine with that one as well as it would give her a chance to flex her muscles , figuratively speaking. When the man introduced himself and bowed Ishiko in kind bowed slightly, more out of habit than pure courtesy. Though remembering he was blind she straightened her stance with a slight headshake. He'd put emphasis on his last name as if it were to mean something though to Ishiko the name was foreign but she nodded along politely anyway. He did in fact want her to come along this was good, she was making friends! "Of course. Lets squash some protestors!" She stated energetically. Should the man head out to start the mission Ishiko would follow very closely behind. As the man towerd nearly 7 full inches above her in height , she might appear to be the younger sister or daughter of the man as they move along. At least by the bouncing mannerisms Ishiko showed when simply haphazardly following the stranger along.

So he was speaking to a woman, Shenjie thought to himself as he began to make out a fuzzy frame that was surely more feminine than masculine. He took note of the hight difference between them as best a blind fellow could as he brought himself back to an erect body stance from his bow. "Ishiko, that is a nice name, I'll do my best to remember it." He said in an enunciated fashion as he flashed a firm thumbs-up like gesture with his lead right hand. Making sure to move with precision, Shenjie allowed his body to continue to utilize the vibrations of the other Pedestrians so that when he started walking towards the desk, it was of course not something stupid like a wall opposed to the clerk. "Anyway, I suppose it would be best if we spoke with the clerk now the we have our mission." He said letting his tone deescalate a little bit as he hoped that Ishiko would follow him as he approached what was hopefully the clerk's front desk.

"Pardon me sir or ma'am, but could I request this mission please." He said holding out the sheet that he could not read in the general direction of the clerk. "My friend, Ishiko, and I are hoping to do the village justice by serving her and her people." Shenjie said even though the mission's ironic purpose was to suppress the said people who were requesting justice. However Shenjie believed that protesting was not the solution, but having a sure fire determination that results in lawful change. As the blind Shenjie awaited a response, he also listened for Ishiko's input if she had any. Today was definitely bound to be interesting.

I listened as all three accepted the mission as it was. I smiled a little with a nod as all three of them seemed eager to get going. Godric had requested to travel separately, stating that he could use his telepathic network to contact Michiko. I nodded toward his words before speaking myself.

"That is fine, Godric. As for Shenjie and Michiko, I will meet you outside the gates momentarily. We must get going immediately. You are all dismissed."

I said to them all, awaiting them to leave. Once they had left, I sent yet another letter to the Hokage, informing them that I was to be headed there shortly. It was time to either strengthen my alliance with Konohagakure, or destroy it.

The assistant up front heard the two accepting the mission and smiled, marking both people down. In the process, however, he noticed something strange.

"This mission is cleared for the both of you, however... Ishiko, it appears as though we don't have record of you in our shinobi list. Would you mind filling out this short form before leaving?"

He asked, handing a small form to Ishiko. Once it was filled out, the two would be allowed to leave.

[Ishiko just needs to fill out the Shinobi Roster before the mission can begin. The mission also requires a GM. You can either find a GM or Staff member to GM it for you, or ask me to. Either way is fine.]

Ishiko had no current input and stood politely awaiting the mission while subconsciously shifting the sand that composed her legs from a tightly packed compression to a looser more flexible mass, having the same overall effect as flexing her legs causing the girl to sway backa nd forth gently in eagerness. Once the mission was approved she was asked to fill out paperwork. Slightly confused she shrugged and filled it out to the best of her abilities. Afterwards she remained quiet and exited the building with Shenjie when he left.
