I made my way down the elevator and noticed the re-arrival of Michiko. She had been on a ANBU credit mission, so I took a vested interest into it as I saw her return.

"I do hope you returned with your teammate otherwise the mission isn't quite so successful."

I said with a light laugh as I walked over to her and picked up the report that she had turned in. It appeared the mission was a success. I read over it briefly, examining their efforts and their work. I would ensure that it matched with their ANBU follower later on. I nodded toward the assistant who promptly provided 8,000 Ryo for her.

"Keep it up and you'll achieve the rank of ANBU in no time."

I said, wondering if she would have anything to say to me regarding it.

Shigeru would be lying if he said he wasn't overwhelmed by the impressiveness of Iwagakure's tower and Geology Centre. From the lack of windows, to the big elevator, to the utterly startling heights the genin had to reach just to enter the building, it seemed like something that belonged in a movie. As it was, the majority of the building was being used for geology. Or rock hunting. Wonderful.

Today, he was here for a mission. Ninja needed to eat, after all. Plus, he was feeling the need to stretch his wings. That was the main reason he had picked this particular mission; a chance to leave the country and embark on a journey outside the walls of Stone was not one he was about to pass up, and the slight tilt on the corners of his mouth may have betrayed his excitement as he placed the mission slip down on the secretary's desk.

"One mission, please." He glanced over to where a brunette girl seemed to be talking to the… was that the Tsuchikage? In that case, it wouldn't hurt to keep his manners in check, as stifling as the thought was. Shigeru resisted the urge to say something too lackadaisical. "Is, er… Xerxes free?"

With no response, I heard of another asking for a mission. Normally I wouldn't mind that but then I heard the word 'Xerxes' and my eyes shot over to the man who asked about it. I stepped away from Michiko over to Shigeru as he asked to go and meet with Xerxes.

"You are a brave man to wish to speak with Xerxes. He is one who does not like those who are weak. He might very well ask you to prove your might to him. Be on your guard. Do not worry. He will not kill you. But it is always best to be prepared. I give you full permission to head to the Land of Fang to meet with the mighty beast. Best of luck. I look forward to your report when you return."

I stated to him, hoping that he would make for a great follower for Xerxes. The black mark of Xerxes upon my back glowed beneath my cloak, showing he was quite pleased that one was coming for him.

Arriving at the front desk of the tower a Fairy Sprite would poof into existence holding a package and letter. WIl a smile and a wave they placed the package down and immediately poof away.

Within the little package several modified Vivre Tags were placed, they were blank with just two circles on them, one gold and one blue. The reasons why would be unclear without the letter.

The letter once opened would read:

Dear Lord / Lady Kage and Assistants,

We would like to extend our welcome out to you and your shinobi who wish to attend the upcoming chuunin exams. We have a portal hidden within the Land of Grass, a single door within a large field. All applicants MUST have one of the cards we have granted with them in order to enter.

A special technique has been placed upon them so that with a small application of chakra the golden circle will rise out of the card as a bubble with a small golden arrow inside to make sure they are going in the right direction. This is important as without the card no applicant will be able to find or enter into the exams. Once registration closes on the 10th these cards become useless and the technique wears off. Please dispose of any left over cards as appropriate.

We wish you and your applicants much luck in the upcoming exams.

Prove his might, eh? Shigeru wasn't sure how much might he had. It might be in his best interest to do some bulking up before he met this 'Lord Xerxes' fellow. He nodded to the Kage, giving a less-than-cordial grin but bowing low regardless.

As the black-haired teen exited the tower, he swore that from the corner of his eye there was a puff of smoke, or light, or shadow. He didn't stop walking- he had a mission, and whatever it was probably had nothing to do with him, anyway.

With Shigeru leaving, a fairy sprite appeared and left a message at the front desk. I turned to the assistant who had taken the package as she handed it directly over to me. Opening the package, I read over the letter and looked at its contents.

"Interesting... A sort of test to get to the main test. Figure out how to get to the exams. Set these cards out and leave the instructions for any who wish to attend. Make sure that all who wish to go to the exams knows how to go about it. Any who say they are intending to go to the Chuunin exams do not need further permission to go. Just ensure that they hurry. I would hate for someone to miss out on the chance to become Chuunin."

I told the assistant as I handed the cards back over to her. From there, I made my way out of the tower and further into the GRI. I knew there were training rooms there and intended to make use of them. It was high time I worked on a few new techniques and skills as.... once I was done with that, I intended to travel around a little. There were some Kages that I had wanted to meet. I also needed to re-solidify the alliance I set up long ago with Leaf.

Amira entered the building with an air of pure amazement. She had never been to another village before, and truly appreciated how wonderful the village itself was. "Wow..." She muttered quietly as she walked along the cold stone and metal floor of the first floor of the Iwagakure tower. She suddenly began to realize that she had no clue where to look for the Tsuchikage that she so desperately needed to speak with. Looking around for anyone who might be able to assist her and her companion that was surely hurrying along after her, Amira quickly muttered. "Excuse me, but does anyone around here know where to find the Tsuchikage's office?" She asked looking around at the staff in an officiate tone. She was not demanding anything, but awaited some response as the search for the office continued.

She quietly adjusted her tactical vest and her type one butt bag that housed a total of 14 slots of kunai knives, 3 slots of bo shuriken, her now updated world map, 77 explosive tags, a picture of her squad, and binoculars. Her tied back black hair and slowly become a bit longer as well as their travels had taken quite a while to achieve. Her sleeveless torso exposed her bare arms with nothing but sleeveless netting under the padded tactical vest. Amira's leg wrappings that covered her legs under her skirt and Sunagakure armband helped give her the appearance of a true desert shinobi. "Please don't keep the Kazekage waiting." She said in annoyance as she awaited Kusanagi's entrance and her audience with one of her fellow great shadows.

After entering the village they went straight to the tower. He was amazed by what he saw inside the big building. So, this is why they call it the stone village? he thought, examining the stone walls and paintings on the walls. He had never seen anything like it before, whoever designed this building must have been real talented. This tower was sure different from the one back home. "I wonder how these people survive winter," he spoke, observing the metallic floor his feet were walking on. It felt so cold to walk on, and he guessed that it would be a lot more cold during winter. He wasn't paying much attention to what the Kazekage was Kazekage, but heard name 'Tsuchikage' come out her lips. Are we here to see the Tsuchikage? he thought.

The thought of meeting the Tsuchikage made him feel uncomfortable. All his excitement had vanished, and that was left was nervousness. He had never met any Kage, aside from his funny, small Kazekage. He only hoped that the Tsuchikage was as funny and kind as the Kazekage. The young Sankuchi quickly tried to make himself look formal and presentable. He made sure that his Sunagakure forehead protector was well positioned, and clearly visible. He readjusted his clay pouch and tried to figure how many slots of clay he had left. He wasn't sure how much was left, but guessed it was over 50, and that was more than enough. He stood aside Amira waiting for something to happen.

Amira gritted her teeth as her footsteps echoed along the ground of the metallic tower. "I really don't know, it's cold enough now." Amira said with a shiver as she slowly began to feel more at ease even in the tower of another Kage. She felt heartless chill that seemed to be housed within the Iwagakure tower as Amira took the first steps forward. "Whatever happens, it will be alright ." Amira said looking back at Kusanagi with a sly smile. She knew that he could handle himself; however the friendly reassurance probably wouldn't hurt. She slowly let her face return to its Taunt expression as she turned and approached the front desk with Kusanagi probably in tow.

"Excuse me, but do you know where we might find the lord Tsuchikage?" Amira said calmly addressing whichever staff member happened to be attending the desk at the moment. "Please let him know that the lady Kazekage is here seeking an audience as well as a deliver." The young Kazekage said pulling the letter from her butt bag. She made sure to quietly lace her unoccupied hand with Kusanagi's as she awaited the response. The pure anxiety of what the much older Kage would think of a thirteen year old Kazekage at his doorstep. Would he laugh? Or perhaps feel that this meant the village was weakened? Either way she need a bit of comfort as the moment of truth approached, as well as their mission's completion.

With minor training completed, I made my way toward the tower to see how things were progressing. All seemed to go as normal. The riots still took hold in the city's streets, but they were becoming less frequent. Iwagakure was moving toward a time of greatness once more, but they needed to be on their toes to get to that point.

Upon my body, my cloak covered all. Beneath the cloak, black pants were worn with no shirt. Holes were strewn along my body, holding the vines of the Zassou. A katana rested on my left side, a great sword on my back along with a Hira Shuriken that had greatly increased in size. Also on my back rested a large gourd filled with water. A large flagon was on my right, holding leaves for various techniques. My pouch filled with 6 Kunai, 12 Exploding Tags, 15 Hira Shuriken, 8 Exploding Pouches and 7 incendiary pouches rested on my right side as well. Special shoes were worn, designed with holes corresponding to the three on the bottom of my feet. It was an attire that many would recognize, except for maybe the two individuals from the Sand who had arrived and were seeking an audience with me.

I heard one mention that they were the Kazekage. She seemed young, but I knew that I had heard of younger becoming Kage. Her age, from what she appeared, did not concern me regarding her abilities. I nodded toward the front desk assistant who was about to respond before she noticed me standing there.

"You both can follow me. I'll take you up to the Tsuchikage's office."

I stated. It was unlikely they would know what the kage of Stone looked like. Furthermore, with my black cloak, I easily matched the appearance of a maskless ANBU. I was curious about them and figured I would be revealed soon enough. After all, my picture was hanging within my office alongside the three council members and another still living Dignified Tsuchikage. But to hear that the Kazekage had come to my village without sending a message first was strange. We still held an alliance with one another, though it had not been spoken of or renewed in any way recently. But with the gates open to all, they were allowed to be here nonetheless.

My footsteps led me and hopefully the two sand shinobi to the elevator. Provided no questions followed, I would go to the correct floor in silence before leading them down the hallway and to the office. The door would be opened with ease as I stepped inside. After closing the door behind them, their eyes likely taking note of the pictures on the back wall, I made my way behind the mostly circular desk and sat down in the chair in the middle of the wooden surface. The hood of my cloak was removed as I rest my elbows upon my desk and linked my fingers together.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Kazekage. I am Sairo Zassou, Rokudaime Tsuchikage. I wonder... What brings you to my fair village today?"

So this fellow must be someone important Amira thought as the hooded figure with a bulky greatsword upon his back. The hooded figure addressed her which was no surprise at all. She released Kusanagi's hand and began to follow the figure as he had requested of them. They were in their home and it would be proper of them to do as they asked. "Thank you, we will gladly follow you sir:" Amira said politely as she nodded to Kusanagi to follow. She slowly followed in silence as she awaited her meeting with the Tsuchikage.

As they rode in the elevator quietly of Kusanagi didn't speak up, they would suddenly notice the office that opened up before them. She followed the fellow forward as he brought them to the desk that the now hood less figure suddenly sat at. Could this fellow be the Tsuchikage? Amira asked herself this as the fellow introduced himself.

"Amira Nara, current Kazekage, and the pleasure is all mine lord Tsuchikage." The young Kazekage said extending her hand out across the desk to attempt a civilized hand shake. Wether the handshake was returned or not, Amira would swiftly place the sealed letter that housed the wax Sunagakure symbol on the seal. Amira slowly placed the letter upon the desk before the Rokudaime Tsuchikage as she slowly began to explain. "I'm here because of two simple facts, for a reaffirming of our allies status, and for the delivery of these documents." Amira said crossing her arms as she awaited the Tsuchikage to look over the document. "Inside involve some of the intelligence gathered on Konohagakure that Sunagakure feels obligated to share with the stone village." Amira said looking down at the sitting Kage who was eye level to her short 13 year old standing stature. "I myself was personally assaulted by the chief of police of said village." She said averting her eyes to the side of the room for an instant as the sting of the harsh defeat still burned upon her less the quelled ego. "Just read and have a response for me when your comfortable with answering." Amira finished as she looked at the Tsuchikage with a respectful sense of understanding, Kage to Kage.

"Is there anything you would like to speak of or ask of us while we are here j. Your lovely village?" Amira asked as her mind was slowly wandering back to the deserts of her home land.

As he was busy observing the Iwagakure tower, a hooded man entered the tower and request the sand two to follow him to the Tsuchikage's office. Kusanagi silently followed his leader and the hooded man. He was really amazed by this tower. He had never seen any tower with elevators. As the elevator was making its way to the Tsuchikage's floor, his mind was busy trying to come up with a good way to act around the Tsuchikage. It didn't take long before they were out of the elevator, and tiptoeing their way through the hallway and into the Tsuchikage's office.

The hooded man entered the office, sat behind a desk and revealed to the sand duo that he was the Tsuchikage. Kusa was relieved that the Tsuchikage was not as scary as he imagined he would be. Without anything to say, the young Sankuchi stood next to his leader observing the pictures on the wall.

I listened to the Kazekage's words, taking the letter within my hands. But as she ended her piece asking if I had any questions for her, I nodded, simply opening the letter right then and there.

"If you don't mind, I'd prefer to open this letter now and read what it entails. Rather than sending you back to your village, I would like to discuss this in person while we have the chance."

I explained as I pulled out the contents and looked them over. It was strange to see that Konohagakure would do such a thing, but it was also likely that they were not allied with each other as my village and Konoha were. I knew it had been some time since I had reaffirmed the alliance with Konohagakure, but hearing this made things quite troubling indeed. After reading over everything carefully, I set the documents down and clasped my fingers together once more.

"This is all troubling information. Iwagakure and Konohagakure are also allied, similarly to the alliance between our two villages. It was one that I enacted a few years back but hadn't been able to reaffirm. I suppose I should take a trip to go and meet with the Hokage and see how the village is going. Do not worry... No information such as this will be passed to them. Sunagakure and Iwagakure have been allies for much longer and I intend to, if a decision is needed to be made, continue our alliance even if it means going to war with Konohagakure. In the meantime, I'd appreciate any and all further information you can give me on this matter. Anything that might allow me to better speak with the Hokage will be of great importance."

I explained, hoping that the Kazekage understood my words. Sunagakure and Iwagakure had been allied for many many years. This was not the same with Konohagakure. Still, everything was not going as I had wished for it to do. First the Kazekage drops by unannounced and then I find that one of my allied villages just attacked another of mine. I hoped the Kazekage could give more information. Once complete, I intended to leave for Konohagakure at once.

"I find that wise, if you could ask about the attack to clarity the intentions I would greatly appreciate it." She said understanding the need to hear what Konoha had to say about the attack. All the same, Amira was pleased that the Tsuchikage had been so understanding. "We thank you lord Tsuchikage, you have my thanks." Amira said bowing her head respectfully as she spoke. "Our alliance with Iwagakure is assured." She said looking up now ready to return to her home village to handle the internal affairs and paperwork that must be running rampant with her absence."if you meet the Konoha's police chief on your visit please say hello for me." Amira said jokingly as she remembered her opponent from not so long ago. "If you ever need assistance we are only a letter away" Amira said with a wink.

With that being said Amira nodded once again. "Thank you for your time." She ended before heading towards the elevator. If she was able to continue to it without any protest from the Tsuchikage or Kusanagi, she would go down the elevator and proceed to the towers exit. She was ready to return home to a brand new day. A day now enforcing their alliance with the stone village.

Kusanagi listened carefully but didn't understand what the Kazekage and Tsuchikage were on about. It didn't take long before it was time to head back home. He had expected them to seat down and have a cup of tea, but none of that happened. He felt glad to know that their mission had come to an end. All that was left was to return back to wonderland. He took one last good look at the Tsuchikage, storing his image in his head so he could describe it to his family when he gets home. He took a half bow before the leader of Iwagakure, as a way of saying goodbye, then followed his leader into the elevator and out of the tower.

"It is my pleasure. Safe travels back to the sand. And thank you for your continued assistance."

I stated, bowing my own head toward her. After she and the other had left, I sighed a little, knowing that this could lead my village to a war shortly after the civil war we recently had. And considering riots were still occurring within my village, this made it all the more troublesome. I would need to find some to accompany me to the Leaf. But they would have to be chosen specifically for a mission such as this...

Slipping unnoticed into the building keeping her cloak drawn tight and hood covering her face Michiko makes her way to the desk and hands a request to the secretary. "I require some documents from the towers official library. These require specific permission, could you please get a message to the kage?" She stated softly. She'd already made a request once but the kage was too busy to grant her request. She'd been asked to wait and then nothing ever came of it. Hopefully this time there would be a few moments to approve the borrowing of these training scrolls. The request was for 3 training scrolls that were Stone Village only. A fairly simple request but one that needed to go through the proper channels.  SPOILER: Click to show Below are the scroll techs in question. I originally asked on the first page of this thread and then was told to wait for the kage. I looked through but didn't see an approval or denial, but with all the going in/out from everyone I figured I should ask again. Doton: Ryuukiba [Earth Release: Rising Fang] Rank: "C" Rank Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive Effect: Creates a sharp pointed pillar that rapidly attempts to strike the opponent. Special: "Hand Seals" Drawback: If used too closely to the user, they can be injured. Beyond that, the opponent can potentially notice the attack and dodge it by moving away, as the ground will rumble for a moment before the fang rises upwards. Description: After quickly performing the needed seals for the technique, the user will release their chakra into the ground. There, the chakra will travel to the location where the opponent is currently at and then spring that ground upwards, creating a sharp, piercing fang that is capable of penetrating through most "C" Rank defenses in one shot. The fang can reach, at maximum, four feet in height. The technique may be learned an additional time to add spinning to the fang, making it a drilling attack that causes more injury. Limit: Must have Doton no Jutsu, must learn from Iwagakure no Sato. With a large tug while the user is facing the opponent, the user will tug out a large amount of dirt, creating a giant boulder that will roll towards the opponent. Its speed is greater than that of most earth-based jutsu, but is still slow enough to dodge. At "B" rank, the user is capable of performing the Ram handseal after sending the boulder rolling, which will cause the boulder to explode with the force of ten exploding tags, creating a large wave of shrapnel that is capable of injuring the opponent more or striking an opponent who believes that they have dodged the attack. Special: Snake, Dragon, Horse, Boar Drawback: None. Description: The user forms the hand seals, forcing chakra into the nearby earth. They then convert the soil and stone into razor sharp razors of earth, shooting them out from all sides of the ground. They are as powerful and fast as kunai. The user can form five razors the first time this technique is trained. The user can take additional C rank training to add five more razors, to a limit of twenty, plus ten for every difficulty rank above D the user is. [Sorry for the delay. This was put in the day before my vacation and I forgot to get back to you. Whoops!]

The assistant at the desk looked over the request. She looked up the information on the one asking for the scrolls. Based off of her rank and what she had been working on, she was cleared for access to the scrolls.

"Just give me one moment to get them out to you."

She said before contacting another in the building. It took a few minutes, but someone finally stepped through the door behind the desk and handed over the three small scrolls. The assistant took them before turning them over to the one who had asked for them.

"Here you are! There is only one stipulation with these scrolls. During your time that you have them, you are unable to leave the village. Once you have finished studying and training with them, you can bring them back here and that stipulation will be removed. If you do leave the village while still in possession of the scrolls, you will be labeled as a missing shinobi from Iwagakure, and a bounty will placed upon you. Just sign this form here stating that you've acknowledged what I just told you."

As she said the end of that, she pulled out a form that Michiko would need to sign. It stated everything she just said as well as a summary of what Michiko was taking. It even had all the personal information of Michiko to verify. Once signed, the shinobi would be allowed to leave the tower with the scrolls.

Shifting her stance slightly to the right michiko waited patently. The assistant had just looked over the request, she was digging through some paperwork at the time so Michiko was sure she wasnt really paying that much attention but sure enough she was told to give her a moment and the woman began conversing with yet a differen tperson. She would probably be told to wait even longer, its not the first time. It wasnt more than a few minutes and Michiko's mind had'nt the time to wander too far when another preson arrived with three seperate scrolls, each of varying age, tucked firmly yet carefuly under their arm. The stale air in the room was beginning to feel less annoying as the other person approached with what looked like the scrolls she'd requested. Success! She'd finally be getting somewhere now. The person behind the desk went over the formalities and Michiko nodded along with earnst as if it meant something to her. If she wanted to leave she'd do it anyway, but thankfully there was no need to as she'd have no where to be, and playing nice managed to work better this time. Michiko reached her steel hand out from under the cloak, the light reflecting dully gave her hand the appearance of almost a slightly tarnished gauntlet or semi-shiny glove. The debris and dirt from the previous mission apparently not completely removed she'd have to remember to wash yet again to try and remove it. Signing her name on the forms she claims the scrolls and gently stowes them away her cloak. "Oh. Also. I would like to make a donation to the village coffers. I know its not much but please add it to the treasury." She states as she hands over a stipend of ryo. (OOC: Donation to Iwagakure. Donation total 230,500. Leaving me with 3,000 remaining... you know... incase i need dinner or something. And [exit] if money is accepted with no interaction required by me)

The assistant looked on in confusion but accepted the money regardless, wondering why someone would willingly give up so much to the village.
