Whilst waiting in the elevator Sairo began to speak once more, though this time it was odd. He was a lot more complimentary, and he was impressed with his defence of the tower.  Ikiryo didn't really know what to say as the supposed Dick but never the less when a distinguished member of the Kage Council such as a dignified kage compliments you, you take it politely. Thank you Lord Rokudaime His tone was slightly bland and monotone but he never really was the type to know how to accept compliments anyway so this was a bit of a foreign concept.

After the conversing had completed the elevator door opened and ahead of him was a hall way, one he assumed would take them down to the council. Ikiryo would stay a single step behind Sairo so that way he made sure he would go to the correct area instead of walking past any potential doors he should have to walk through. He still didn't know what was going on, but the fact that he had been complimented for his work and was being bought to the council didn't leave many options. Was he being offered a jounin exam or what... he didn't know and there was still that bugging and nagging feeling in the back of his mind.

The receptionist behind the desk looked upon the pair who came in to turn in their mission. He had only just received back the report on the mission and was looking it over. Apparently they had done a good job worthy of receiving payment. Though the receptionist did raise an eyebrow when one of the two began to touch the other up while looking ready to run. Shaking his head a little he pulled up two bags of money to give them both 15k ryo each. I'm afraid I cannot grant you the scrolls yet, when the kage comes down he will decide if you can borrow them or not.

I wondered for a moment as to his bland and sort of forced response. I wasn't sure exactly what it meant, but there was something that I didn't fully understand about him. I decided to start paying closer attention to his words. I had significant training in the recognition of dialects when it came to the common language, so I would listen more to his words to determine where he came from and some of what he's done in the past.

However, for now I would lead him into the office where the three council members were standing in wait. I stood to the side, noting that Godric was no longer here. It was better that way. Didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

"Ikiryo... May I introduce the members of our village's council. Lord Ichiro, Lady Ophelia, and Lord Fuutei."

I stated, gesturing toward each of them. Their appearance matched the pictures that were on the back wall, those pictures being alongside Jimarai's picture, the Godaime, and my own.

"Ahhh... So this is Ikiryo Valkyria. I trust you've been a little unsure as to why we've summoned you here."

Lady Ophelia said. She seemed to be more prominent than the others, but each council member had their own skills. As much as they seemed old and frail, they were each still skilled in combat. It was necessary for those in a position of power to be as such.

"Ikiryo... May I introduce the members of our village's council. Lord Ichiro, Lady Ophelia, and Lord Fuutei."

Ikiryo gave a polite nod in their direction but kept his eyes passing over the three of them. He didn't like not knowing why the council summoned him but apparently the Lady Ophelia could already tell this about him.

"Ahhh... So this is Ikiryo Valkyria. I trust you've been a little unsure as to why we've summoned you here."

Indeed I am Lady Ophelia, and if I may speak honestly... I hate not knowing. So with respect could we cut to the chase? Ikiryo may have come across as rude to some people but he was trying to be polite considering the circumstances. He intentionally kept his body language open and not defensive to try and show that he wasn't being hostile towards the elders at all. He noticed they were on the wall alongside previous kage's so he knew they could defend themselves with ease should they need it.

I kept quiet at this point, allowing for the Council to speak to him. I knew what was going to happen. It was just a matter of letting things play out. Meanwhile, Lady Ophelia nodded and stepped forward a little.

"As you wish... After the attack on the tower, and the subsequent moving of the tower underground, the council has deemed Godric Hyuuga to be unfit for Tsuchikage. While his actions in saving the tower and us were valiant, we cannot condone the killing of that many children. As such, the village is in need of new leadership. We of the council have deemed you fit to be that leader, should you desire to take up that title. The choice is yours, Ikiryo... Will you take up the title of Tsuchikage?"

She stated, not beating around the bush any further. Now the ball was in his court.

To state being taken back would be the understatement of the year.. in his life at least. Ikiryo would open his mouth to answer and close it a few times thinking it through to truly make sure he gave his best answer. I know I am not as strong as Godric but I shall do my best to lead the village as Tsuchikage. Ikiryo had made up his mind, power was sexy and to be offered the title of Tsuchikage was definitely an honour, so few people to ever live would be offered said title.  Ikiryo gave a polite nod of his head in their direction. I guess this was important enough to pull me out of my mission he gave a cheeky grin and slight smirk. In truth he would be really excited about it, internally it would almost be as if his mind was leaping all over the place while he kept his face and body in check, apart from the grin it was professional and ready for action.

As soon as Junko's hand entered Michiko's robe her arm twitched, she paused and as soon as the girl grabbed her breast searching desperately for a nipple that thanks to her entire body being replaced with metal no longer existed, she quickly brought her hand to her chest gently pinning Junko's hand to her solid steel breast. For a brief second Junko's hand was pinned , but not painfully, between two steel objects. But with the blink of an eye she felt as the solid steel body softened rapidly. It quickly took on a human softness that felt like a slightly cold but otherwise human skin. " Im not sure what you're searching for , but much was sacrificed for this body of mine. Including some of the more “pleasurable” features it once contained. Im sorry if it disappoints you, but later when there is more time I would gladly show you that while I have exchanged something precious for power, I can still just as easily give you something you'll never forget." Michiko cocked her head towards the groper and whispered loud enough for Junko to hear but soft enough to normal prying ears away. " On a different topic." She stated turnning back to the receptionist, but not taking her hand away from junko's which now both parties are clasping Michiko's breast. " I still require a "specific" type of mission." These bugs have the ability to drain chakra through physical contact with the enemy (and possibly consume a fraction of the host's chakra as well.) THe receptionist looked upon Michiko and Junko's...interation with curiosity but quickly shrugged it off. I have one mission available for you to do, not as dangerous as the last one but still give you credit for AnBu. He presented her the slip and smiled politely. We will be supplying an AnBu Cat member to assess your progress as you go, they will be in the shadow but they will make up the final member of your team. YOu are to lead the mission and they will do as they are told, if they feel like they have to take over as the mission will fail then you do not get the credit. Okay?

To be honest; it wasn't as appealing at first. It was plain metal against her finger tips. It was odd but, she had other worries to deal with. Of course Michiko was quick to react to Junko's...physical experiment. It put her on the defense since her hand was pinned now. It was so quick Junko had no idea how to respond anymore. Yet things took a very unexpect turn.

First off her fingers were still in one piece. What once felt like solid metal, now felt like soft human skin. It was a little cold but, still. Junko was speechless. Either way it wss alot more fun to grab onto now. It wasn't the tip of the iceberg though. Michiko's words sent a spine tingly chill just be hearing it. It made her blush as well; isn't that something exciting. Before she could respond the conversation before was continued as it should.

Junko simply stood there and, listened to the details. More blood shed huh? No problem. Everything was pretty straight forward really. Once again Michiko would lead and, once again a random anbu would join. With that in mind Junko finally released Michiko's breast and, did the favor in accepting the mission. "All seems fair then. It shouldn't take long. Or at least as long as last time." Junko gave her signiture little smile towards the receptionist before turning and, getting ready to leave the tower. Yet before she went towards the door she leaned towards Michiko's ear and, whispered. "I'll be looking forward to whatever you wish to show me. At a later time like you said." After that she would walk out ready to tackle another mission.

She simply nodded, took the information and headed out with Junko to begin their mission. It seemed that the doors of the elevator didn’t close as Sairo spoke of halting the interrogation until further notice. Stepping out of the elevator alongside a very irritated Dusk, I nod toward the Tsuchikage and give Godric a shy smile. “Yes, do call me when the time comes, my Lord.” I said to Sairo, shooting Godric a knowing glance before the doors of the elevator closed. Leaving me once again in the tower, Sairo moved off to address another couple of shinobi that had entered the tower.

Flustered, I glance toward the exit, wondering what to do from here. Dusk gave out a snarl and began pacing the floor restlessly. She had had enough time inside this building and was in need of some air and grass to run on. Poor girl, sometimes I really tested her patience. Seeing Sairo enter another elevator with another shinobi, I moved away in search for the receptionist. Upon finding them, I place my smile back on, hiding the irritation I too, felt. “I have yet to be paid for my mission.” I said, folding my arms across my chest. Spotting the other two shinobi leaving the tower, I turn toward the receptionist and await for an answer.

The receptionist looked over the mission report with a polite nod withdrawing the funds from a bag sealed via sealing jutsu beneath the counter. THe coins withdrawn were placed in a smaller bag and placed on the coutner There you go, thank you

Finally I stepped forward. I had my own words for the new Tsuchikage.

"It is not always about just how strong you are. It is about how you can care for your village and put the needs of the villagers above yourself. It can be a difficult task but... You seem like a headstrong individual. I have no doubts that you can do what is required of you in the position of Tsuchikage."

I said, hoping to bolster his own confidence. I didn't have that when I became Kage. When my time came, I started off with a burial of the previous Kage, and an annoying kid that felt best to talk bad about me. I hoped that his time as Kage would be more suitable.

"What you choose to do as Tsuchikage is up to you. However, as you know, the villagers recently rioted toward us and are still rioting on the streets above. It was why the tower was taken down into the depths of the GRI."

Lord Ichiro spoke up.

"I'd suggest finding a way to quell their riots and bring peace back to the village before the village burns down to the ground."

Lord Fuutei added on.

"Patience, fellow council members... One step at a time is necessary. Allow Ikiryo to get into his new position and plan out his own plan. If you need us at all, let us know. Now then, if you gentlemen will excuse us..."

Lady Ophelia finished as the three left the room, leaving me alone with Ikiryo. I was curious as to what he would say now.

Ikiryo listened politely as the council members spoke, he was still a bit taken back by the fact that he had been announced as the new kage. As each individual elder spoke, including the former Tsuchikage he would turn his focus to them taking in all that he said but as the Tsuchikage mentioned that Ikiryo was head strong mentally he would take it as being called stubborn. Stubborn to him being quite a child like insult and trait to have at times. As the council members left he gave a nod in their direction out of respect before turning back to 

I am a little 'head strong' at times I will admit it. he gave some slight air quotation marks around head strong showing his slight agitation at the remark. I am going to go out into the land for the day, do some training and just get my head fully around this all. After wards I will come back and see where I begin.  Ikiryo had made his mind up about what he was planning ond oing. He wasn't asking permission just waiting to see if the Rokudaime had anything to say before he would leave

Once the receptionist finally noticed me, Dusk was in a right mood. Her snarls were audible and her tail was flick in agitation. It took less than a few minutes for my payment to be rewarded but that was not going to please my upset Jaguar. Sigh. “Thank you.” I said, picking up the envelope with my Ryo in it before approaching the stand where mission slips were located. An impatient growl from Dusk told me swiftly to hurry up before I plucked a slip out of its slot.

Placing it upon the desk, my smile returned to my lips. “I’ll take this one.” I then said, falling silent long enough for the receptionist to stamp the OK or give further orders.

Description: Follow the shooting stars(aka dragons) at night back to their nests and steal a offspring from the nests and bring it back to Stone alive. They seen heading back towards the east where the Land of Water resides. It is unknown where the nests or resting places of the animals are. It is also helpful if one speaks the dragon tongue, but its not required.

THe assistant looked over the slip handed to him with a nod and marked his approval upon it. Bring us back a dragonling

"Do what you will. You are the Tsuchikage now."

I said with a laugh as I turned to leave the office. But I had a final remark to give to him. After his little air quotes thing around head strong, I knew that I had to say at least one last thing.

"Though I have one final thing to say.... Try not to take offense to everything that people say. You won't last long as Kage that way."

I said before leaving the office. A vine escaped my back to wrap around the handle of the door and close it. I had other business to attend to anyway. I made my way down the elevator and out of the tower. I had spent too much time in here anyway.

Now this was a bit better. The slip was stamped in less than ten seconds before being handed back to me. With a polite smile and a slight bow, both Dusk and I would leave the tower quietly.

I know I can do as I wish, though I do understand you are a dignified kage and I respect the title. Though Ikiryo respected the title of Sairo the last comments he made irked him again, which was a bit ironic as it was exactly what the comment was about. Once ikiryo knew Sairo would no longer be there he would make his own way to the elevator and leave.

Heavy footsteps carried me within the tower once more. I grumbled slightly as I had been asked to return to the tower. It seemed to be a regular trek for me, though I was not prepared for what was to come.

Upon my body, my cloak covered all. Beneath the cloak, black pants were worn with no shirt. Holes were strewn along my body, holding the vines of the Zassou. A katana rested on my left side, a great sword on my back along with a Hira Shuriken that had greatly increased in size. Also on my back rested a large gourd filled with water. A large flagon was on my right, holding leaves for various techniques. My pouch filled with 6 Kunai, 12 Exploding Tags, 15 Hira Shuriken, 8 Exploding Pouches and 7 incendiary pouches rested on my right side as well. Special shoes were worn, designed with holes corresponding to the three on the bottom of my feet. It was an attire that many would recognize.

My personal assistant, Kurai, was waiting for me when I had arrived and she accompanied me to the elevator. She was strangely silent as we moved up to the office of the Tsuchikage. And as I entered, there were the three council members, waiting for me as they had numerous times.

"I trust that I'm not here simply to say hello...."

I stated, showing a slight annoyance at the many times I had been called here.

"First Saara Yuki stepped down from the title to tend to her new family. Then Godric Hyuuga had the title stripped from him for his actions against several children. Now we find ourselves without Ikiryo Valkyria. He has seemed to disappear. This is certainly a troubling time."

Lord Fuutei stated. I sighed as I heard this. Tsuchikages were dropping left and right. It was almost the same as it had been when I had become Kage.

"We find our village without a leader once more, and we're left wondering what to do. The village is still in decline from the protests that have come prior."

Lord Ichiro said. Classic speaking... One council member after another. My eyes shifted to Lady Ophelia before she even spoke, knowing it was her turn to do so.

"We called you here to see if you might have an idea of who could next lead this village. We've come to trust you insight in the matter."

She said, the three now looking to me for guidance. It was quite humorous actually. The council who were supposed to make some of the most important decisions were here asking me for advice.

"I'm surprised the answer isn't as clear to you as it is to me. In this state of decline, what this village needs isn't a leader that none seem to know of. No... This village needs a familiar leader. One who has proven that they can bring this village into better times. With or without your permission, I hereby re-invoke my title as Rokudaime Tsuchikage. If the previous Kages disappeared for one reason or another, perhaps it is time for me to lead this village like I had once before."

I stated. They were a little shocked, but that was an effect that I'd had on them a few times in the past.

"Well... I hadn't expected you to wish to take the head as Kage once more. But you have our permission regardless. I just hope you know what you are doing."

Lady Ophelia said as she and the others walked away. I turned toward Kurai who had been there, now looking rather excited.

"Kurai... Please pass on the message that I have taken the lead as Tsuchikage once more. It is time for this village to return to greatness."

I told her. She nodded before walking away. From my coat I pulled forth the shard of the Gods. Seven portals surrounded me as the images of the Gods appeared through them.

"My lieges... It brings me great pleasure to announce that I am once again leading Iwagakure. This village has fallen into great disarray and it is my job to reclaim it. Your word will continue to be spread. I promise. Until then... Know that Iwagakure stands by you once more."

Sounds of approval came from the Gods before the portal disappeared. I was in charge once more, and I intended to turn things around....

Pushing the doors open slowly Michiko shuffled in with a slow walk. She was a little tired but mostly it was only mentally. The past few days had been draining on her patience and things just weren't going the way she wanted them to anymore. She was successful in her missions as of late but that brought her no solace as the end goal still seemed so far away. Her cloak billowed around her but held tightly closed preventing any from seeing her steel colored torso under its protection. The ground clicked as she beat one steel foot after another across it along her way to the counter. To others it should have only sounded like solid steal boots but to any who'd known of her clan it was obvious the way the vibrations hit almost like a real foot but not quite. Upon reaching the desk she awaited the secretary's attention, “This job has GOT to suck worse than trying to accomplish her current goals” she thought to herself as she handed the report of her and Junko's completed mission. The report shows both and the futakongo twin junsk/fumiko's detailed account of what happened during the mission. With this in mind she looks around to check if Junko has actually caught up yet or not, she did get a little single minded in her trip this way and its possible she left her in the dust by accident. Special: --- Drawback: Cannot gain any other Ancestry Traits. Description: Some human bloodlines trace their linage back to a grendle, an offspring born of troll and human parentage. Living humans with this racial trait are immune to bleeding out. If they are also "C" Class they heal Minor damage per 15 rounds. If they "A" Class and they lose a limb, an organ, or any other body part, once per day the user's severed body members (fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms, legs, tails, broken bones, and ruined organs grow back. The physical regeneration is complete in 1 round if the severed members are present and touching the creature. It takes 15 rounds otherwise. Regenerate also heals Serious Damage within 15 rounds, and rids the subject of exhaustion and/or fatigue. It has no effect on nonliving creatures (including undead). This trait replaces 2 of the 5 Freebies. Limit: Must start with Character; 2 Freebies.. =========================================== Koutetsu no Karada (Steel Body) -[90TP] Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary in Weapon Form. Effect: Determines the durability of the user's Steel Body. Special: "Hand Seals", supplementary in Weapon Form. Drawback: The more durable the body is, the less speed that the user has. The speed is of the user is reduced by one Difficulty Class from their current Difficulty Class for every Rank of the technique that the user has active. If at any point the user's Difficulty Class for movements reduces below "D" Rank, they will be considered to have zero movements per turn, unless they are performing the required handseals to obtain a lower Durability. Description: The Koutestu no Karada, or the Steel Body, is the understanding of just how powerful the user's steel has become. The Steel of the body is capable of resisting up to one strike of the same Rank as it before becoming injured. This technique, while not in weapon form, can be modified around, due to the fact that the lower the ranking, the faster that the user is capable of moving with less training. When the user has transformed into Weapon Form, they will automatically take the highest rank of this ability in order to state their durability. Limit: Must have Koutetsu Katansei of the same rank. =========================================== Karada Sumiyaka (Body Speed) -[90TP] Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: Supplementary Effect: Allows the user to learn to move at speeds equivalent to their Difficulty Class. Special: --- Drawback: Must learn the technique for every rank of Koutetsu no Karada or else the user will suffer from movement penalties. Description: This specialized form of training is given to those individuals within the Seitetsu Clan. Upon becoming an individual with the Steel Body technique, the user's own speeds will dramatically suffer. This training allows the user to act as if they were unaffected by the steel transitions within the body, allowing them to fight normally. Each Rank of this technique reduces the Difficulty Class Movement Penalty imposed by the Steel Body technique by one Difficulty Class, meaning that if the user only has the "D" Rank of this technique but switches to "B" Rank Steel Body, then they will have their movements reduced to the point that they would move as if they were two Difficulty Classes lower than they were, instead of three. If they have the "C" Rank Steel Body, then they will suffer only a singular class deduction with the "B" Rank Steel Body, and the "B" Rank of this technique would allow for no Difficulty Class Movement Penalty for the "B" Rank Steel Body. Limit: Must have the corresponding rank of Koutetsu no Karada. =========================================== Know Their Pain Rank: "B" Skill: NinJutsu Effect: Get an understanding of how much life a target has. Special: --- Drawback: This does not work on undead. Description: The user looks over another creature and can discern how close it is to releasing its soul. There are no hand movements, no actions, the user simply looks at the target and can simply know how much more life the target has before the soul finally leaves the body. This does not work on undead. This is normally used for NPC purposes. Opponent's cannot state how much life a PC character will have unless they are at the verge of death. Limit: Must be a Soulcaster. =========================================== Kikaichu no Jutsu (Destruction Bug Host Technique) -[10TP] Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Allows the user to control the kikaichu given to him by the Kikaichu Ishoku ritual. Special: N/A Drawback: The kikaichu feed from the shinobis chakra. Description: This allows the user the control the kikaichu in the use for their techniques. he bugs feed and live off the Chakra which the body stores and in return the Ninja gets to control and command the bugs, using them as their primary fighting technique. These bugs have the ability to drain chakra through physical contact with the enemy (and possibly consume a fraction of the host's chakra as well.)
