After a few days of rest and finally getting some food and drink, as well as other recent preparations, Raika got ready to head off to the Chuunin Exams. While part of him wasn’t exactly excited to get back into action so soon after escaping a foreign prison, he could not pass up this chance. Nera wrapped around Raika’s torso under his new cloak, which held 6 hidden belts with 5 pouches each for items. These pouches held Raika’s assortment of offensive pouches, which include two slots each of smoke and flash pouches, as well as one slot each of lightning and ice pouches.
The young shinobi donned his normal mission outfit, a black, sleek kimono and hakama meant for fluid motion and hard activity, with inconspicuous slits tailored onto the back. The hood covered his head, hiding Raika’s face a bit. Below the kimono was a tactical vest with his goggles, a spring razor, 154 lightning tags, and 4 smoke grenades, all easily accessible through the openings of his kimono. On his waist was his thread wire shock katana, as well as his utility belt--which held 16 kunai, 45 shuriken, a slot of thermal capsules, 64 explosive tags, 8 lightning tags, 2 flash pouches, and 8 smoke bombs--and on his right leg a triple utility pouch, which held 12 kunai, half wrapped with explosive tags, the rest wrapped with lightning tags.
Tatsu reached the docks and bought a ticket to go to the Haha Island of Umi no Kuni, the Sea Country. Tatsu boarded and waited for the ferry to sail.
