Seira, you may post in room 25 with your soul scout once that room is posted.

The moment Zakari touched the door in his attempt to scrub the surface, he found himself stuck.

The finger he used felt like it was suddenly glued to the door.

Thankfully, with the earth shield up, Zakari's actual skin wasn't stuck to the door.

The hand Zakari had on the doorknob was also stuck.

"Forgive me for messing up you name, Zakari, seems the short fight messed up my recollection a bit." As Tatsu looked at the door and found nothing that seemed like a lock he might be able to pick, Zakari got his hands stuck onto the door. "Well, well, looks like it's a good thing I didn't try to touch the door with my bare hands. Fortunately, you used this earth armor jutsu, otherwise you might be in a lot of trouble. We have to be careful, this is likely to not be the only trap in this place. Also, Seira, thank you for the warning. it would be a good idea, in my opinion, to leave that mirror alone for now, unless we cannot open this door."

Tatsu gave up looking at the door as Seira used her soul jutsu. "I don't have any way of opening this door, if it can even be opened. The lightning petals I have left through this room won't help in this situation. Zakari, do you know of any technique that might might be able to break down the door? I don't know what techniques you know, but anything could help."

Raika kept the his Sakurai petals close by, but several feet away from each of his new companions. Nera kept an eye on the mirror, ready to warn the others should anything happen. He also kept his Ryuugan active for now, though it wasn't much help currently. One thing was clear: if he made it out of this whole thing alive, he was going to figure out a way to be able to access his items and gear in the event that he was made unconscious, like in this scenario. He did not like having all of his preparations go to waste like this.

Since Seira has not posted here, but has posted in room 25, it is assumed that she uses soul scout for the entire duration of her post, which means her body here is unable to move.

Seira, for future reference, at least post that you don't move your body, since you are still physically present in this thread.

"DAMNIT!"

Not many things got under his skin. He would shrug off annoyances, minor and major alike without so much as a blink. But right now, at this moment, stripped off all his gear, equipment, weapons, having narrowly dodged death by demon and now with both of his hands stuck to this door he wasn't in the mindset to not bitch about it. Was it glue? Or was it some kind of jutsu? Either way it was kinda juvenile in his opinion. On the other hand though it was also kind of original and the Kedoin couldn't help but start laughing at his unnecessary anger towards such a well placed, almost prank like move.

"Just give me a second," the Genin would remark as he would first attempt to separate his hands from the door without dispelling the Earth Armor technique. Pulling back and placing all his weight in his shoulders and upper body, he would try to rip his hands away with sheer brute force. Should this prove to be useless Zakari would sigh in defeat and send out a wave of chakra from his body, washing over the armor and cancelling it out, dispelling it and any contact he may have had with the surface of the door.

"Okay now where were we?" Turning to Raika, patting himself down casually. "Well I might be able to use my Earth techniques to travel through the stone UNDER the door, eliminating the need to force it open. Or I could pull out a REALLY BIG rock from the ground and throw it at the door but I don't think that would be a good idea. Lets just wait for a bit, let me gather my thoughts abou- Oh wait I forgot."

Turning his head away from the other day the Kedoin would contract the muscles in this throat pocket, lowering his head so the wad of tissue would fall out of his mouth and into his outstretched hand. It wouldn't do him any good to keep this in his throat pocket for any longer, what if one of them needed it in a pinch? Best to have it close by. Turning back and picking the wad apart he would hold out the soldier pill, showing it off to the others, triumphant smile on his face, basking in the knowledge that he had pulled one over the Examiners.

"Those Examiners couldn't separate this soldier pill from me! Its only one though but I'm sure it can come in handy. If you guys need a pick me up be sure to tell me and I'll toss it over if we can get some help out of it." Words said he would tuck the pill into one of his inner cloak pockets. Hopefully they wouldn't dwell on the how he got the pill inside the Exams. The little showcase he did with the gagging would probably eliminate any desire to ask.

[[ooc: Decided that after the long wait, the best course of action was to post, especially with how my next few days are shaping up irl. I figure the Examiner hadn't posted after this time because there wasn't much to add. Sorry either way.]]


Raika pondered about what Zakari proposed. For one, he feared what might happen if the shinobi was caught in something alone. Their best chances for success was for all three to work together, which meant if one of them was taken out somehow, it could prove disastrous for all of them. Still, there wasn't much they could do otherwise. The door on this side wasn't very cooperative due to the adhesive on it, and the mirror likely hid another menacing creature ready to tear them apart. Perhaps Zakari could open the door from the other side, maybe even find something of use.

"We seem to be out of options at the moment, so perhaps, Zakari-san, your idea holds the best course of action. Go under the door and right to the other side of the door, and see if perhaps you can open it from the other side. I doubt there is a trap for the door on that side, considering it was meant to keep us trapped in here on this side, but be careful regardless. Seira is still using whatever jutsu she used it seems, so maybe she will get back to us soon with some info, but we can't waste any more time. We need to move on. If you can't open the door, perhaps see if you can find anything else of use, maybe weapons of some sort. Just be aware of any potential traps or enemies. The best chance we all have as individuals is for us to succeed as a team. So, you know, be careful." Raika had trouble showing concern, especially for strangers from another village. But with these fellow genin being so cooperative, he would prefer that his potential future allies stay alive. A shinobi could always use a friend.

Tatsu had nothing he himself could contribute for now. This was the second time since he left Kumo for a mission that he had found himself trapped or imprisoned in a large room without any equipment and no options for escape himself. When he got out out of here, his next priority would be training techniques that could help him with such scenarios, perhaps earth release jutsu...

Raika kept on eye of Seira and the mirror on the other side of the room, ready in case whatever was behind it got triggered to come out and attack.

"Yes, I suppose that is the best option. I'll be careful and won't take any unnecessary risks. Just a...heads up. If you hear me screaming in there or something could you please ram the door down and save my ass? That's all I ask."

Having said all that needed to be said the Kedoin tentatively approached the door, hesitating for a second before performing the Underground Fish Projection technique, sinking into the stone floor. Now hopefully he would be able to swim through the stone underneath the door and come out the other side unless the Examiners had done something to prevent that. Should nothing prevent him from carrying out his actions his head would slowly sink out of the ground on the other side of the door, making a customary observation (Skill check here but might not be necessary) to search for any imminent dangers in the room. Should he find any he would quickly retreat and tell Raika the situation. Should he find none then he would rise up, out of the ground and check to see if there was a way for him to open up the door from this side.

If there was a way to do so, perhaps in the form of the door handle or a lever, then remembering the trick with the sticky door he would recast the Earth Armor technique upon himself and cautiously open the door. If there was no way to do then he would retreat back to the other room. If the door opened then he would usher his companions inside, before whatever lay behind the mirror suddenly felt like making an appearance.

Description: Can be learned by an Animal. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill. If you are Schooled in Anthropology you gain a +10% synergy bonus with Observation checks that involve noticing disguise checks.

Effect: A technique where the user hides within the ground for a brief moment to surprise attack the opponent from under ground.

Drawback: ---
Description: The user takes the time to push into the ground by using their Earth Release. The user pushes into the ground quickly so that to be used against the opponent later on. The user at this point cannot necessarily move within the ground at this moment, but the user does know by feel of when an opponent is right above. When an opponent is right under the user reaches up to take the opponent and drag them back down to the ground in one fell swoop without movement or notice. The opponent is unable to move for one post and the user is capable of slamming out of the ground with one movement.

Doton no Yoroi (Shield of Earth) (20 TP)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A Thin like layer of earth is used to surround the user as a protection against on coming like attacks. The stronger the user is the stronger the technique becomes means the stronger the defense is to help the user.
Special: ---
Drawback: This Technique is ineffective against Lighting Techniques. The user becomes weighed down and is unable to perform fast movements such as the After Image technique.
Description: A thing layer of earth is used as a protection around the user. The layer makes the user seem a little darker then usual but this type of technique takes up a lot of concentration, chakra and understanding. When attacked by certain attacks such as TaiJutsu attacks the feel of the attack seems less then that of normal. This technique is capable of protecting the user against two "D" Rank like attacks before the shield begins to break. For every Difficulty class the user increases the technique increases in strength allowing the user to withstand more. When the user becomes a C Rank difficulty class the user can withstand Two “C” Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty of "B" then the user is capable of withstanding One "B" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty class of "A" Rank the user is capable of withstanding One "A" Rank of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes "S" Difficulty class the user is capable of withstanding Two "A" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user

Zakari opened the door successfully on the other side. His elemental armor kept his body from sticking to the surface, though it needed to be dispelled again afterward if the genin intended to be free.
