Seira, Raika, and Zakari woke up in against stone pillars in the center of a large room. There was one large pillar, and one smaller one.

The three participants no longer had any of their weapons or equipment. Their apparel was the only items in their possession.

Room 26 had irregularly shaped walls, but was mostly a round room. The stone walls and pillars had a minty green hue, but there were metallic strands mixed in with the green. From one wall to the opposite, 16 meters was the room’s diameter. The pillars were more or less at the center. Raika and Zakari woke up leaning against the large pillar. Seira woke up against the smaller one.

The ceiling was four meters high, give or take.

There was a single door in this room. A person who was able to understand the direction they faced knew that the door was towards the Southwest.

Raika faced the South, so he was the only person who saw the door as soon as he woke up.

Zakari was on the opposite side of the big pillar, so he had a clear view of the North end. Some type of mirror was embedded in the North wall. The mirror wasn’t right on the surface, but it was within arm’s reach in a crevice.

Seira faced the West wall as she woke. There was writing on the Western stone, a dried yellow paint of some kind that read “Ulricana de vous sa valla”.

As soon as the three participants returned to consciousness, a speaker went off. The voice almost sounded like it came from within the walls themselves.

"Welcome Examinees, let's play a game. As you have noticed you are somewhere not familiar to you. Your exams start now. You have one test, and one test only. Escape. If you cannot escape you have failed the exams. You can use whatever skill, and whatever item to your disposal. We will be waiting for you at the entrance."

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika began waking up, his eyes slowly opening. He was no longer in any kind of comfortable seat, instead he was up against a large pillar. This was the first thing he noticed, but definitely not the last. As the grogginess faded, Tatsu noticed a door on the wall he was facing. He looked around, coming to the realization that the room was rather circular and round.

Having been put to sleep, the next thought that raced through Raika's mind was his possessions. Quickly patting himself and reaching into several of his pouches, Tatsu quickly realized he had been stripped of all his equipment and items, including his sword.

"Well...I should have known...this is just going to ruin my day..." he said. However, a small bit of pressure and a slither, followed by a soft hiss, alerted Raika to his still present serpent, Nera, who was still wrapped around his torso. Tatsu nodded to her, then spoke to the snake in serpent tongue to remain hidden.

After a few seconds, speakers would seem to go off, and a person began speaking: "Welcome Examinees, let's play a game. As you have noticed you are somewhere not familiar to you. Your exams start now. You have one test, and one test only. Escape. If you cannot escape you have failed the exams. You can use whatever skill, and whatever item to your disposal. We will be waiting for you at the entrance."

Tatsu then whispered quietly to himself, "Examinees, huh? So I must not be alone. Hm, I guess that we'll have to figure out a way through that door...great..."

Tatsu began to lift himself off the ground, as he looked around the room. He didn't know any of the participants, so the only thing he was hoping for now was that whoever else he was with would not be hostile.

When Seira began to wake up, her eyes slowly fluttered open. A quick glance around as she stirred alerted her to the fact that she was no longer in that previous room. She also no longer had any of her equipment except for her apparel. She gave a small curse and continued her glance around. Before she could do much more, she heard a voice over a loudspeaker. She assumed they were still somewhere inside of the building they had entered to begin the exam.

"Welcome Examinees, let's play a game. As you have noticed you are somewhere not familiar to you. Your exams start now. You have one test, and one test only. Escape. If you cannot escape you have failed the exams. You can use whatever skill, and whatever item to your disposal. We will be waiting for you at the entrance."

So this was a game of escape the room. If they could pick up on any clues in the room they would be able to hopefully do it easily. The word Examinees told her there were others in the room, so she wasn't alone. Hopefully they would turn out to be allies and they could work through this exam together. She was a bit concerned what would happen if they did manage to never figure their way out of this room but pushed that thought aside and slowly stood up, inspecting the yellow words with a curious look. "Ulricana de vous sa valla. What in the world does that mean?" she mumbled.

She looked around again until she spotted any of the other examinees. She held no intention of attacking either of them unless they attacked first, and hoped that they would want to work together through this as well. "Well, I guess we're stuck with each other." she said with a small sigh. In a big room that meant their failure if they didn't escape. That was always fun.

If her Mind's Eye of the Kagura skills were still activated from where she had them on in the previous room, she would take glances around to try and see if they were alone, or if there were other chakra signatures anywhere in the room.

Also once the user sees an individual’s chakra signature once they will automatically recognize that persons chakra signature from then on.

Effect: The basic technique needed in order to learn all Sensor Techniques.

Drawback: The basic yet complex ability that allows Sensor's to find, sense, and track individuals over a vast range. This ability is done by the user closing their eyes and opening their mind's eye in order to see the advanced chakra systems around them. At A rank and above, Sensors no longer need to close their eyes in order to access their mind's eye. The user of this jutsu can only sense those up to the equivalent class rank of the rank they know. (i.e. If the user knows up to B rank in this jutsu they can sense characters of all the way from D to B rank. The basic range of this technique is ten meters.
Limit: Must fulfill all requirements to become Sensor in order to learn this technique.

Mind’s Eye Extension

Effect: A technique used to increase the range of Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.

Description: This technique is passively used to increase the distance of Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. At D rank this extends the maximum range of the technique to twenty-five. At every rank after D the distance will double until reaching a maximum range of two hundred meters.

"Fuck it! He took my pouch projector! Listen to me carefully, if I find a single scratch on my metal baby after I escape this place I don't care how strong you might be, I'ma punch you in the dick!"

Heartfelt words uttered from the mouth of the Kedoin, spoken to the relative silence of the room, to the Examiners who were no doubt watching and listening in on them through cameras and microphones they would have a hard time finding. Leaning against the pillar hadn't done wonders for his back and after waking up to find him devoid of any items, gadgets or weapons didn't do much to improve his mood. It was something he had expected that might happen so the shock didn't last long but only now, when he was separated from his Pouch Projector and goggles did he realize how much their loss affected him. After ranting to the room Zakari would stand up, stretching as he did so to limber up for what was to come.

First he would check whether the soldier pill in his throat pocket was still present, after all the Examiners couldn't have been THAT thorough could they? This he would do by contracting the wall of the pocket to check if the wad of tissue that closeted the pill was still there. After either confirming or denying this fact* he would bring his attention to the room he was in, ignoring the other ninjas for the time being. Round room, two pillars, one door, pretty straightforward eh? But this was not enough, he would try to ascertain more, any hidden clues, secret levers that might have escaped his gaze the first time (Observation check if able). After that he would face the other two.

"Okay I suggest we not turn on each other and work together because that would really ideal. So lets introduce ourselves, I mean we might be a bit pressed for time but it would be really beneficial for us to know a little more about each other and what we can do. I'll start, my name is Zakari, I'm from Leaf-" pointing at the headband which needlessly confirmed that fact- "My specialty lies in Earth Style, though I am better suited for Medical and Genjutsu. I can only heal up to minor wounds though, didn't really spend much time in the hospital heh. I have a bunch of Phantasm Perception techniques as well which is something. Last but not least..." Here he would pause for a moment, building suspension "... I can make a decent grilled cheese sandwich, 50 percent of the time. So what about you guys?"

Hopefully the other two were ninjas of the sensible kind, the kind not likely to stab him in the back just for a chance at a title. Right now the enemy in his eyes was the Examiner responsible for taking their stuff, and they could unite, escape this place and all punch him in the dick together.

Now we begin.

Keep up the posting order. IIC starting now is 48 hours. Examiner posts may take longer due to special circumstances, but the difference will not be much.

The contents of the Kedoin's throat pocket were untouched. The cut on his body was also still present.

Ulricana de vous sa valla.

A few seconds after Seira mumbled those words, the letters on the wall began to glow.

Yellow light sprouted from the wall, then took a physical shape.

Seira's sensor abilities were able to pick up a chakra level from whatever was being formed out of the light. It was a C Class creature.

A demon with dull yellow skin appeared in front of the three participants. It was humanoid, and had long arms like a gorilla. There was no hair on its head, but the demon's eyebrows looked like they were drawn in with clusters of red runes. Four straight horns extended out from its spine.

Seira was also able to sense one other C Class chakra level, located behind the North Wall's mirror.

[Raika Tatsu]

Tatsu watched as the other two shinobi made their presence known.

"I'm not here to fight, I would prefer we all made it out of here together, the whole exam if possible. I am Raika. If we're all in agreement, I think we can--" Raika's statements were interrupted as a demonic-looking creature appeared from behind the shinobi who had not yet introduced himself. It seemed that merely escaping was not the objective. It was escaping ALIVE.

"Looks like we won't have time to decide on what to do guys!" Raika's irises changed to red and tiny lightning flashed across his eyes as Tatsu activated his Ryuugan. He jumped back a couple of meters as he performed hand signs in order to put some space between himself and the creature. He didn't know what the creature would do, even if it would attack, but his appearance seemed to indicate that it would. However, Tatsu didn't want to possibly hurt those he was with either, so he decided on a more conservative approach, at least to start. As soon as his hand seals were done, a large number of glowing petals began to appear all around Raika, but away from everyone else in the room. He then began another set of handseals, quickly using the petals he just created. As he kept an eye on the creature, some of the petals formed two discs that were three and a half feet in diameter, both floating in the air on either side of Raika.

Nera also quickly realized what was happening and readied herself, poking out her head from inside the collar. At that point Tatsu watched the creature and his new companions.

Ryuugan (Dragon Eye)
Rank: "B"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The power of the Ryuugan Doujutsu is unleashed, allowing the user to see the elements of Lightning, Air, and Water up to a certain distance and increase general seeing distance of one's eyes.
Special: ---
Drawback: Cannot see out of natural line of sight, takes a negligible amount of Chakra to maintain. Cannot pierce Genjutsu.
Description: The second stage of the Kazeraikou Doujutsu forces a temporary change of the user's eyes. The iris and pupil of the eye become one and change to a color decided at the first awakening depending on their mood. The color is like a cloud and swirls around the user's eye when looking around. Small lines of white will flash across the eyes like lightning bolts and continually do so as long as the eye is active. Also a slight glow of the eyes illuminate in the dark at this point. With the second stage of the Ryuugan Doujutsu unleashed, it allows the user to see the elements of Lightning, Air, and Water up to one's viewing parameters. One's natural sight is also enhanced giving the capability of 4x zoom capabilities. The user sees the elements as three new, vibrant, and opaque colors that mesh perfectly with their normal vision, giving the user the ability to see the three elements without hindering their normal vision in the slightest. Of course normal vision can hinder this special sight, as the user cannot see through walls or other things as normal.
Limit: Must be a Kazeraikou, must have Raiton, Fuuton, Suiton releases. Must have Chibi Ryuugan.

Raiton: Sakurai, 雷光: 丹色 木 雷光, (Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning)
Rank: C
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user creates a mass of blue-white lightning petals.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: Not a complete technique, but a set-up for others.
Description: The user forms the hand seals, focusing chakra around them. They then mold the chakra into several hundred blue-white sakura petals of lightning in a three-meter radius around the user, like the Sand of a Saton user. These petals float gently around the user’s body. Each one gives out minor shocking, but together they can give strong shocks and burns akin to a C rank shock. The petals last until the user chooses to dispel them. The user can control these techniques in a fifteen meter radius around them.
Limit: Must have Raiton.


Raiton: Tsuika Sakurai, 雷光: 追加桜, (Lightning Style: Extra Cherry Blossom)
Rank: C, C
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Increases the number of sakurai petal created to almost double the original amount.
Special: Hand seals
Drawback: Takes an additional 50% of time if it is not relearned a second time. After relearning the jutsu a second time no additional petals can be created. All that’s happened after learning the second version of this jutsu is that the time constraint drawback is removed. Field of vision is also blurred if field control is not learnt due to the incredible amount of sakurai petals.
Description: With additional training with the sakurai no jutsu the user is able to increase the amount of sakurai petals they can create upon casting the Sakurai no Jutsu to almost double what they were able to create upon first learning the jutsu. These additional petals allow for the Cherry Blossom Swirl Technique to withstand up to four C rank hits, allows the Sword Technique to create a weapon of Great Sword size, two Katana’s or ten weapons of kunai size or lesser, increases the range of the Lightning Constraints technique to twenty meters however it does not affect Sakurai techniques of A rank and above or the Lightning Razor technique.

Raiton: Sakurai Fīrudo no Seigyo, 雷光: 桜野牛耳る, (Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Field Control)
Rank: C, B
Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: Increases the range that the user can manipulate the sakurai petals.
Special: Passive jutsu once the Sakurai technique is cast.
Drawback: The sakurai petals can be stretched too thin if one doesn't have the extra sakurai technique.
Description: This technique allows the user to increase the range in which they control the Sakurai Technique allowing for the jutsu to be more battle ready. At C rank the user can increase the range of this jutsu by an additional fifteen meters allowing them to control the sakurai petals for a distance of thirty meters. At B rank they are able to once again increase the techniques range an additional fifteen meters allowing for control of the Sakurai Petals within forty-five meters. The B rank version of this can be re learned to a maximum distance of one-hundred fifty meters.
Limit: Lightning Release, Raiton: Sakurai, Must be C rank to learn the C rank version of this technique, must be B rank to learn the B rank version of this technique.

Raiton: Sakurai Kami sori disuku, 雷光: 桜剃刀円盤, (Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Razor Discs)
Rank: B, A, S
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates discs of lightning energy out of the Sakurai petals capable not only of cutting or breaking shields of B rank or lower but that also gives off static electricity that’s capable of being felt within five feet of the disc. The static electricity does nothing other than raise the hair of an opponent however and does nothing of value beyond that.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: The user can control the discs within their range of manipulation however if the disc move out of the users range for any reason they will continue on in the direction they were going. Difficult to manipulate multiple discs.
Description: The User forms hand seal and focuses their chakra into the Sakurai petals around them, holding the final seal. After this a selection of the petals then begin to swirl around in two specific spots, identified by the user, and form two disc of energy, three and a half feet in diameter and an inch in width, that rotates like a car wheel or a tornado, getting faster and faster. These discs are then able to be motioned the same way the user is able to manipulate the petals of the Sakurai jutsu however they now move with the speed of a Taijutsu specialist of the Users rank. The Discs are also only capable of being manipulated within the range the user is capable of manipulating the Sakurai petals though still exist outside of this range so they can launched from within the users field of manipulation to attack enemies at a distance. The B rank version of this technique takes about twenty percent of the Sakurai petals (not including additional petals from the Sakurai Extra). At A rank the amount of discs capable of being created is five and the amount of Sakurai petals used is approximately fifty percent. At S rank ten discs are capable of being created however all of the Sakurai petals are used.

Seira was greatly relieved that the other two seemed to want to work together, and she was also more than happy to share any information that she could about her own abilities that might readily help the situation. If they at least knew the basics about each other, then they'd be able to formulate plans better, correct? Which was something they would definitely need to put their minds together towards if they were to escape here. And that was something that she certainly wanted to do. She did not want to get into a fight with these two at all, especially if they would just be stuck here. They had a better chance together, and she'd rather not get into any needless fights. She listened intently to Zakari, and was happy to hear he was a GenJutsu user to boot. She even gave a small giggle at his grilled cheese comment. Unfortunately, when Raika was speaking, something began to react to the words she had recited earlier, she sensed it forming, as well as sensed another form behind the northern wall, something she would have to mention to the other two when she got the chance. Well... oops, that was not her intention at all! What would people say if they heard she had summoned a demon?!

She thought that thing was a demon at least.

It was a strange looking thing. Humanoid with long, ape-like arms and strange yellow fur. Red runed eyebrows with a spiny back. She chewed on her lower lip a bit in thought. It didn't seem like a significantly strong creature, though that was no reason to be unwary of it. She instantly jumped back further away from the creature, casting it a wary eye before preparing herself as well. She didn't want to hestiate with this thing, there was a very small chance it wasn't a hostile creature and she wasn't about to take her chances. Like or not, something might happen if they defeated it, as there may have been a different purpose to the words written on the wall other than to just be a mindless piece of the puzzle.

Water jutsu were out of the question unless she found some sort of water source nearby which she doubted at this point. She really needed to start carrying around a water bottle or something similar for the smaller techniques until she learned more, but it wouldn't have mattered at this point anyway since she had lost her equipement. She thought fast and in a matter of seconds was preparing a technique. With a few hand seals, she preformed one of her Enchantment techniques, something that would show the creature a "Vision of Heaven". Seeing as this thing was a demon, or at least didn't have the appearance of anything of a good nature, she was hoping that this would work to put it into some kind of daze. She hoped to give it some kind of pause so that perhaps the other two could effect it with any of their skills. After that she would perform several more hand seals, deciding to test if the stone of the ground or walls could be used for any earth ninjutsu at all. If so, then five birds would form from their rock, which would then fly towards the creature to inflict some sort of damage. A makeshift way to make up for not having any of her kunai on hand. Right now she found this the best course of action.

OOC: Would like to know if the floors are made out of stone, and if I can use these for appropriate rock/stone based earth techniques.

Doton: Ba-di-Kawaii no Jutsu (Earth Release: Art of the Pretty Birdies)
Rank: "D" Rank
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates up to five birds made out of earth that fly towards the opponent and attempt to inflict damage equivalent to kunai.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: The technique must be relearned a number of times in order to make a large amount of birdies. The technique is fairly easy to dodge.
Description: After performing the required handseals, the user is then capable of channeling chakra into the earth. For each time that the user has learned this technique, they become capable of creating up to five birds of the user's choice, made out of stone. These birds have sharpened beaks and are used to attack the opponent, moving at the same speed as the normally thrown kunai as well as dealing approximately the same amount of damage. The technique is only capable of being learned up to a maximum of ten times.
Limit: Must know Doton no Jutsu.

Vision of Heaven
Rank: "D"
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: User's words allow the target creature the merest glimpse of the blessed joy of the Seven Heavens, spurring the target to a moment of regret for its evil deeds.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ---
Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects anyone 1 creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 1 round. This technique may be negated. For 1 round, the target is dazed. In addition, the creature is more susceptible to future redemption. For the next 24 hours, the creature takes a -1 penalty on all saves related to redemption.
Limit: Must know the Enchantment Perception.

Looks like everyone was in favor of sticking together and riding out these Exams together. Excellent, now they could plow through on their mission to crotch attack the asshole Examiners! His Pouch Release would soon be back in his possession and the thought of their imminent joyous reunion was now driving his actions. Another piece of good news struck the Kedoin, the soldier pill in his throat pocket had remained untouched. For now he would keep this information to himself, though that did not mean he wouldn't give it up to one of the other contestants should the necessity arise. For all he knew their chakra reserves were greater than his. On the downside he had just realized that his left palm was still wounded from his attempt to stay awake in the lobby. Good thing he had some healing technique in his pocket.

The male participant began to speak as well. His name was Raika and looks like he had the same idea he did. The girl also looked like she wanted to join in on the team action, though she hadn't spoken as much. Suddenly a strange yellow glow began to emanate from the wall of the pillar near the girl. Watching as it began to take a physical shape Zakari would spring behind the larger pillar, the one he'd woken up leaning against. Peering out the left side he would obseve as the demon like entity came into being. No way this thing was going to be friendly, they would have to battle it into submission before anything else. But his injured palm might interfere with his ability to cast handseals. Cupping his right hand around his left he would begin channeling chakra of the healing kind to seal up the cut and stop any bleeding. Once that was dealt with his mind would get to work analyzing what actions to take next.

Should everything happen as he would attempt, then instantly Zakari would begin weaving handseals for another technique, a Genjutsu to weaken the physical prowess of the demon should it take any offensive measures. Demonic Illusion: Jellyfish was its name and if successful the demon entity would find it hard to move and control his limbs as well as slowing him down enough for him and his allies to get more hits in. While weaving the handseals he would yell out to the others: "Lets incapacitate it or knock it out guys. The objective is to escape, not waste time fighting."

Effect: A Healer gains the ability to heal Minor Wounds within an amount of time.

Description: When laying the hand upon a living creature, the user channels positive energy that cures Minor wounds within the amount of time performing a "D" Rank technique in handseals. While curing Minor wounds this technique brings higher wound levels down by 1 step. Since undead are powered by negative energy, this Jutsu deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds.
Limit: Must be a Medical Doctor.

Demonic Illusion: Jellyfish 
Rank: "C"
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: Makes the target's arms and legs shake and feel like Jelly.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ---
Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 target. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. The target hit by this jutsu feels their legs and arms become jelly like. This makes their ability to strike weaker than normal reducing striking attacks by 2 ranks. This Jutsu also reduces the user's movements by 2.
Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception.

S'ska the Demon began to perform handseals as soon as it finished forming from the light.

Before S'ska finished its handseals, it was struck by the chakra of Seira's genjutsu.

S'ska resisted the genjutsu entirely, and saw no vision of heaven. It finished its own set of healseals.

Just as Zakari healed his wound, S'ska attacked.

The demon brought one of its long arms up to its mouth, then breathed out. A serpent dragon burst out from the mouth the demon, and flew towards the pillars at the center of the room.

As soon as the dragon collided with the pillar, it exploded into a mass of outpouring flames.

The room wasn't too big. An explosion was sure to fill most of it.

Seira made birds out of the green stone without a problem, though it was likely for the birds to be caught in the explosion. The same went for Raika's newly-formed lightning petals.

However, the demon intended to blow up its targets before they could mount their attacks.

The thing is, the explosion from the dragon was going to consume the demon as well. If its attack succeeded, it was going to be knocked back to the wall by the blast.

Katon - Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)

Effect: The user quickly performs a large creation of blinding fire into the form of a large Dragon form. The Dragon must be used in the same concept as the Goukakyuu no Jutsu in which must be thrown by placing a hand in a circle form over the mouth of the user.

Drawback: This type of technique is better used if the opponent is bonded down and unable to be moved.
Description: A Large creation is created as the user performs the necessary handseals for the technique. As the user does so they raise their hand up over their mouth. By taking in a deep, breathe the user fills their lungs with chakra to in, which ignites the moment they blow out air. As the user blows out the creation of fire is made taking the form of a giant dragon like creature. The Dragon is quickly hurled towards the opponent as the dragon swivels and swerves moving like that of a Chinese Dragon. When first learned the Dragon does not explode forth but the very flames oozes out spreading out in all directions that would wrap around the opponent in a blaze of glory. When the user learns the "B" Rank version the user is capable of pushing so much power into the technique to where when it touches the target it is needed it is ignited in a mass blaze of glory, creating a grand explosion.

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika took no time to hesitate. As soon as he saw the creature begin making handsigns, he stopped everything else he was doing and simply reacted. It was almost reflexive. He had been able to create his petals, but he abandoned his plans to create the discs. No, he had no time to think. He needed to stop the demon. So he merely acted.

Tatsu pointed his left hand toward the creature, as quickly as possible. He had only enough time to ensure that the other shinobi would not be hurt. At the angle he was standing, the woman would barely be out of the way, while the other one was able to get out of the way completely. Raika's fingers all pointed to the demon. And then...

Flash...

A two meter wide bolt of lightning shot forward from Raika's fingers and towards the creature, before the demon could finish its handseals. It would be difficult for the creature to dodge at this range, but at the very least Raika could interrupt the demon's handseals and give them all more time. A direct hit would be the best case, likely putting down the creature, perhaps even kill it.

However, if he failed, Tatsu would not hesitate. He'd shunshin in an arc around the largest of the two pillars towards the the exact opposite side of the pillar from the side which the creature was facing. With his back to the pillar, Tatsu quickly began a new set of handseals, attempting to form the lightning petal discs he had planned to create earlier, forming them on either side of his body in a vertical position. As soon as that was done, Tatsu would begin to concentrate chakra into his lungs as he began to breathe in deeply, readying another technique in order to be ready.

If successful on his initial attack, Tatsu would forgo the shunshin and go straight to the handseals for the discs, and then send one towards the midsection of the creature.

As soon as Seira noticed that her GenJutsu was ineffective on this thing, and that the creature was making handseals, she would react. She didn't care what it was he was doing - okay yes she did, but the most important thing was stopping it first. She didn't want to spend the time attempting to figure out what it was that it was doing. She made hand seals of her own quickly, jumping back further as she did so. There was no time to waste, this creature was definitely hostile. The Jutsu she was performing was another kind of GenJutsu. She wasn't entirely positive this one would work since the other didn't, but it was a better shot then not doing anything. If it did succeed, it would break the concentration of the demon and interrupt whatever Jutsu it was that he was performing.

If it succeeded, then that should be enough to buy them some time and deal with the situation properly and hopefully without injury. However, if it didn't succeed, than she would immediately proceed to the next step, not quite willing to risk being injured or possibly even killed. 

She would use a shunshin as well without hesitation. She used this to quickly move in an arc to the opposite side of the creature, and hopefully put more of a distance between her and it. Once that was complete, she would perform another set of handseals to create what she hoped was some kind of defensive barrier for her against this explosion. Using the power of her Soul Caster abilities, she adapted her soul to the heat of this room. While she wasn't sure if this fire would be under 140 degrees, she was at least hoping it would cause some kind of buffer against the damage, as well as help protect what equipment she did have. After this, she would do one more thing, something that she hoped would help if nothing else had. Another Soul Caster technique.

She didn't expect it to do a load of damage, but what she was hoping was that it would at least create a distraction to the thing and buy them more time. She was positive it would reach the demon, since she could reach up to fifteen meters with it, and she was almost positive the room wasn't much bigger than that. She quickly pointed her arm in the direction of the demon, shooting a soft blue light towards it. If successfully, it would assault the insides of the demon, causing pain and internal damage. She had no idea how the demon would react to it, but if all else had failed, she was hoping this was their perfect distraction.

This attack hits the insides of the user, affects their very life force. At first it doesn't cause much damage however the higher the more the user learns the deadlier the technique becomes. The attack leaves no physical damage, but creates internal damage against the user's life line. People said it feels like having a heart attack while having lost of breathe. Each time learned the user is capable of shooting this technique 5 meters extra. Technique may travel 10 meters per second plus 5 meters per Class Level.

• After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.

The cut on his hand disappeared, vanishing without a trace, allowing him to perform handseals without delay. However his plans to cripple the demon with his Genjutsu went out the metaphorical window as he saw that the demon had finished its own set of handseals and was raising one of its arms to its mouth. Whatever was going to come next was most likely gonna hurt. Probably a lot. 

He would spring back to create some distance before the demon could unleash its technique, having already finished its handseals. The moment he felt the solid wall of the room (unsure about the distance from my position to the room wall) the Kedoin would form the two handseals required to cover the soles of his feet/shoes with chakra, as well as the rest of the body, which would allow him to slip into the ground quick enough to avoid the demons attack. An additional two handseals would be woven as well which would make it so Zakari could move about in the earth and not be restricted to just one spot. The floor he would be standing on would part as the Kedoin sank into the earth, at least two feet from the floor of the room. At this depth Zakari would feel at ease, in the comfort of the knowledge that he was most likely save from what was going on above. Leaving his other companions to deal with the demon though was kind of a dick move. Hopefully they would understand his caution.

However that was not all. Wading through the Earth like water the Genin would make his way to the other end of the room, around 13 meters or so, so that when he would re-emerge from the ground his position would be directly behind the demon. Cautiously the Kedoin would emerge, head sinking out of the floor slowly to gauge the situation in the room. Should he determine it worthy to emerge would be seen...

Description: The user takes the time to push into the ground by using their Earth Release. The user pushes into the ground quickly so that to be used against the opponent later on. The user at this point cannot necessarily move within the ground at this moment, but the user does know by feel of when an opponent is right above. When an opponent is right under the user reaches up to take the opponent and drag them back down to the ground in one fell swoop without movement or notice. The opponent is unable to move for one post and the user is capable of slamming out of the ground with one movement.

Seira's second attempt at genjutsu succeeded.

Although having a ninmaster handseal speed allowed the demon to outpace every participant in the room at performing techniques, the demon's first actions were a bit too slow from having been freshly summoned.

Due to this dull start, Seira's genjutsu broke S'ska's concentration. The dragon of fire was not released.

Raika's bolt struck S'ska right in the torso, but had no damaging effect. Instead, the sparks radiated around the demon's body, then got absorbed into the creature's yellow skin.

The demon's chakra was replenished.

S'ska performed another set of handseals, while also charging at Raika.

For now, Zakari was somewhere underground.

Since Seira's genjutsu succeeded, she may have remained in the center instead of dashing in an arc. If she was still near the center of the room, then S'ska was charging at her too.

After the demon's handseals were completed, its yellow skin lit up with the power of yellow sparks.

If Raika still attacked with his lightning discs, those would be absorbed into chakra with the demon's mastered affinity for lightning.

If Seira still attacked with her soul ray, it would inflict some soul damage on the demon, but not enough to stop it from advancing.

Description: The user's body's chakra is ready at anytime the user need it to. When hit by any lightning the user is able to absorb the lightning as their own for chakra. When the user is hit by any form of lightning (Includes Jutsu or Natural) the user is able to absorb the lightning as their own, they can transfer the lightning they absorb into more chakra for them or may have the option to combine that with a jutsu they have that have the same principles of what they absorb to increase the strength of the rank. By doing this the user is unharmed by any damage that it was suppose to be done to them when they where hit with the lightning.
Limit: Lightning Release Skill (Raiton no Jutsu), Must have 500 TP in Raiton no Jutsu. Once you obtain 500 TP in Raiton no Jutsu, this is automatically learned

Armor of lightning

Effect: The user becomes charged with electrons, shocking those that come in contact with him or her.
Special: Snake, Horse, Dragon
Drawback: This jutsu will no matter what last for 5 posts, it cannot be dispelled, for it is self sustaining and after its performed, no more chakra is put into it. It does not discriminate between friend or foe, this means if you are injured a medical ninja will not be able to help you without getting shocked. This also makes the user glow with electricity giving away stealth. If a water based jutsu comes in contact with the user, then the armour of lightning jutsu will backfire, and the water AS WELL AS the lightning will hit the user.
Description: After performing the handsign, a few random sparks and shocks of electricity, usually yellow or bright blue will begin to emit from the user. Any things that comes in contact or very close to contact (a few inches from touching) the user will receive a shock. This may not stop the person from making contact with you, but will definitely slow them down a bit, or even leave a slight paralysis on wherever was touched.

[Raika Tatsu]

Watching the demonic creature, Tatsu realized a rather scary thing. The being had absorbed his lightning, likely turning it into chakra. Tatsu was very educated in this technique, being a master lightning user himself. Tatsu himself even knew the technique that the creature likely used. This was a big problem A phenomenally huge problem. Most of Raika's ninjutsu was lightning based, making most of his techniques useless. This meant his petals were basically useless, as was any technique borne of them. Fortunately, Tatsu still had a few other jutsus he could use.

The creature seemed to at least get distracted completely by what seemed like genjutsu used by the female shinobi. However, now the creature was charging right at Tatsu. Thus, Raika had to work fast. Tatsu kept his hands hidden under his cloak as he concentrated chakra along his left arm. At the same time, he turned around and ran away from the creature, moving around the largest pillar in the center. However, just as he began to move, he hissed slightly, telling Nera to look behind him. The serpent popped her head out from under Raika's collar, watching the creature if he chased Raika.

The moment his jutsu was ready, Tatsu hissed, and Nera gave him confirmation on where the creature was using serpent speak. At that point, Tatsu spun around towards his left, using the momentum to swing his left arm towards the creature in a slightly diagonal line, sending a sickle-shaped gust of wind towards the creature, hoping that it would cut through the creature's lightning armor and cut through it. However, he had to plan for failure. Thus, if it didn't stop the creature, Tatsu would shunshin backwards around the pillar, likely escaping the creature. His hands would then take on the energy of water on his left hand and wind on his right. He then began a new set of hand seals, holding the final one to better react against the creature with the right element.

Effect: Using a weapon or ones hand, the user slash's the air creating a sickle shaped gust of wind mixed with chakra that speeds out cutting anything in its way before eventually dissapitating.

Drawback: Accuracy counts and as the gust keep moving, they can damage anything in the area.
Description: Not to be confused with Temari's Kamaitachi no Jutsu which requires a fan. The user gathers chakra to there hands or weapon and slash the air, diagonally in front of them with much force as a sickle shaped gust of wind blows out incredibly fast. It can cut down opponents, inflicting a moderate amount of damage and chop down trees. It has even been known to cut through rock when used with enough force. Can also repel weapons and even sound waves.
Limit: Must have Wind Release

Arashi no Kiero (Channeling of the Tempest)

Effect: After activating the Ryuugan, the user will be able to channel lightning, water, or wind chakra into each hand.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: Wastes a D Rank amount of chakra each turn.
Description: By learning to channel their unique chakra into a normal Raiton, Suiton, or Fuuton jutsu the user is capable of controlling where it begins. After completing the handseals used for the jutsu the user channels one element of chakra to each hand. (IE: Lightning and Water; Water and Water.) Others are able to see the element from each hand because they exude the element given to them. This is used for the other jutsu of the clan and simply having this jutsu active wastes chakra each turn. To learn the clans techniques they must have the corresponding rank of this jutsu. An additional B Rank training can be done any time after the B Rank version of this technique to remove the handseals needed. Though the same amount of time applies to get the channeling to succeed.

There would be a pause between Seira's actions once her GenJutsu took effect, but once the demon got struck by the lightning and its chakra was replenished, that's when she would continue with the rest of those moves. Having already shunshin'd behind the demon, she let out a small sigh. At least they had stopped the fire dragon. That was a step in the right direction. But by this point it was obvious he was skilled in NinJutsu despite being C-Class. They'd have to do something or this demon was going to take them out, it didn't seem content to stop in the slightest. She took a few seconds to briefly ponder her next moves now that she was out of the way.

Since Zakari had succeeded in moving underground, she assumed the ground was capable of being used for earth techniques. She was pretty positive he had used an earth jutsu since that was a jutsu she knew as well, and since he did mention having specialized in earth. So she would go that course as well. She would use earth techniques and hope they worked. Watching Raika's movements, she waited to act. Hoping that his techniques at least proved a distraction to slow down the demon enough for her own techniques to entrap him, or to at least be able to predict his general position and be able to entrap him that way.

Moving forward, she quickly made a few handseals, focusing her chakra so that the earth of the ground would raise up around the demon in a circular shape. If successful, it would essentially create an earth prison of about three meters around the creature, reaching up to approximately ten feet in height. As soon as this would happen, she would prepare another set of handseals, knowing the top of this prison was open and unsecured. This would seal up the top of the prison by causing the top of it to form the shape of bars, stretching over the top and sealing it so it couldn't easily be climbed out of. She also knew that her ranking of this technique wasn't the strongest, so additional strength would definitely be beneficial. Several more handseals and a technique would hopefully fix this. 

Reaching the perimeter of the earth prison, she would then place her hand on the sides and channel her chakra through this earth. To further restrict the demon's movement, bars would begin to grow out of the inner walls of the prison, trying to connect to others and provide further stability. If nothing else, if successful, it would at least hopefully give them a moment to react, since the creature would have to break through the bars and the outside of the prison, in which case a quick shunshin would get her out of harm's way.

If yet again, none of this was successful, and neither Raika or Zakari's skills worked, she would ponder the use of a stronger genjutsu.

Daichi Kangoku No Jutsu (Earth Prison Technique)

Rank: "D","C","B"

Skill: Ninjutsu

Effect: Raises Earth in a circle radius around the person of the user's choice. It can have a maximum base diameter of 3 meters.

Special: Hanseals, Hold Rabbit

Drawback: The earth prison is not closed at the top, so it is possible for the victim to escape.

Description: Earth rises up around the targeted person quickly to a maximum height of 10 feet, trapping them inside. At D rank this technique is little more then a distraction or simple defense, only able to absorb a simple "D" ranked attack before it crumbles. Only the part that is attacked will collapse, unless the structural integrity of the entire prison is compromised. At C rank it becomes much harder and resists attacks better, but with persistence victim can break free (1 C rank). At B rank the prison is extremely hard and thick, made of solid rock. It is very difficult to break and will reflect most ninjutsu techniques back upon the victim. Although this attack is only B ranked, its is extremely tough and will stand up to most jutsu, including all B ranked techniques. Piercing jutsu will be most effective in breaking the wall.

Kangoku Nobebou (Prison Bars)

Effect: Prison bars seal the top opening of the earth prison.

Special: "Handseals"

Drawback: Can only be used on an existing earth prison after it has been created.

Description: In order to seal an opponent into an earth prison, you must bar up the escape hole. These bars grow out of the existing walls right at the top opening of the prison and do not appear instantly. They are made out of the same strength material as the rest of the prison that has already been created.

Limit: Earth Release, must know Daichi Kangoku.



Ijou Nobebou Ochiiru (Surrounding Bars of Entrapment)

Rank: "D" "C"

Skill: Ninjutsu

Effect: Bars of earth will grow out of the walls inside of an earth prison, further trapping the enemy and hindering movement.

Special: "Handseals", place your hand on the outside of the prison.

Drawback: You must keep your hand pressed against the outside of the prison so that they jutsu will be accurate and successful.

Description: In order to seal the movements of an opponent that has been trapped by the earth prison it is possible to create bars inside the prison that will restrict movement and prevent escape. You must press your hand against the side after performing the handseals and multiple bars of earth will grow at once, each attempting to complete a solid connection between walls that would provide less space for the enemy to move and with enough bars could completely restrict their movement. These bars each grow at about half the speed of a thrown kunai. Multiple bars are created at once and more can continue to be created until the user is satisfied that the enemy's movement has been properly restricted. At D rank the bars can only withstand the force of one D ranked attack before breaking. At C rank the durability improves to one C ranked attack before breaking, and the bars grow a bit faster.

By this time the Genin should have found himself on the South end of the room, slowly emerging from the ground headfirst, checking out the occurrences that had gone on while he had been underground. The lack of dust, debris and damage was not something he was hoping for but happy to find all the same. Yet the demon was still standing and now charging at Raika. Forming handseals as it did so. Less than ideal for him, hopefully it would keep his attention on him so Zakari could find a way out of here unencumbered. Waiting for the opportune moment when the demon was facing away or otherwise distracted, the Leaf shinobi would fully emerge from the ground and make his way to the door on his right, at the South-West of the room.

Reaching out to grasp the doorknob he would hesitate. Could it really be that easy? No doubt it was locked or trapped or even both locked AND trapped. These were the Chuunin Exams were they not? He would give the door and knob a once over (Observation check) for any visible indication of the presence of any traps. If he found nothing then the Kedoin would form the 12 Handseals needed to cover himself with a layer of earth, weighing him down a bit but also making it easier to grab hold of the doorknob and attempt to turn it, clockwise, counterclockwise, pushing in and pulling out, in an attempt to open the door. If the door did not yield to his prying and prodding then his attention and energies would have to turn towards the elephant in the room, specifically the demon, which would have to be incapacitated before anything else could be done.

Effect: A Thin like layer of earth is used to surround the user as a protection against on coming like attacks. The stronger the user is the stronger the technique becomes means the stronger the defense is to help the user.

Drawback: This Technique is ineffective against Lighting Techniques. The user becomes weighed down and is unable to perform fast movements such as the After Image technique.
Description: A thing layer of earth is used as a protection around the user. The layer makes the user seem a little darker then usual but this type of technique takes up a lot of concentration, chakra and understanding. When attacked by certain attacks such as TaiJutsu attacks the feel of the attack seems less then that of normal. This technique is capable of protecting the user against two "D" Rank like attacks before the shield begins to break. For every Difficulty class the user increases the technique increases in strength allowing the user to withstand more. When the user becomes a C Rank difficulty class the user can withstand Two “C” Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty of "B" then the user is capable of withstanding One "B" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty class of "A" Rank the user is capable of withstanding One "A" Rank of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. The somewhat unintentional teamwork of Raika and Seira succeeded. Raika inflicted a deep slashing wound in the demon, which disabled its right arm. Seira was then able to seal the demon in a hard prison created from the cavern stone.

Without the ability to perform handseals, the demon didn't have a way to break free from the earth prison.

Seconds after the demon was trapped, a yellow light emitted through the bars at the top, signalling that the creature had disappeared.

Over at the southern end of the prison, Zakari noticed something about the door. There was a lot of dust sticking to every part of the door. There was practically a small layer of fuzz and dust.

[Raika Tatsu]

Watching his technique succeed against the creature gave Raika back some of the confidence he was beginning to lose, and trapping the creature was the icing on the proverbial cake. Tatsu began walking towards the earth prison, perhaps out of curiosity, but more from a sense of temporary victory. Then a light started shining above the prison, seemingly signaling the creature's departure. Tatsu let out a short sigh, glad to have one problem out of the way, but still keeping on high alert. After all, they were still stuck in this room, and they could have to deal with another dangerous threat at any time.

Raika walked towards the female shinobi, looking around as he did to make sure nothing else was coming for now, as well as to find Zaraki.

The Kumo-nin began to speaking to the female ninja, wanting to know more about who he was imprisoned with. "Well, that was exciting. Due to the distraction, I don't believe I caught your name, miss. You don't have to tell us, but it would help to have to something to address you by in case something happens again." As he waited for the female to respond, Tatsu see Zaraki at the door, looking at it carefully with his hand on the knob. No luck, it seems...thought Raika, as he watched the shinobi. After the female responded to him, Raika would look generally around the room. He noticed the mirror at one end, but he was unwilling to explore it further for now lest he release some kind of other creature to deal with. "We need to try and figure out that door. It might be a long shot, but perhaps that is the only way out. Unlikely, but sometimes the simplest answer is the right one." Tatsu walked up to Zaraki and the door, nodding to him before deciding to take a look for himself. Nera looked around as well, flicking her tongue to get a sense of the room, sticking her body out a few more centimeters for a little more mobility.

"Zaraki,found out anything of use about the door, or anything else for that matter from around the room?" Tatsu would look at the door himself, carefully observing every part of it, but specifically looking for a lock. It there was a lock, perhaps he could fashion some kind of makeshift lockpick and use his skills to break it. His new companions might even be able to help with that, if a lock held the door in place. Here was hoping things were less stressful from then on. Sadly, the chances of that were slim.

Seira was extremely relieved to see the unplanned teamwork had succeeded. Raika's atack struck and her earth prison was able to encase the demon because of it. When the flash of yellow signaled it's departure, Seira pulled away from the prison with a relieved sigh. That was one problem out of the way. Moral of the story: Never speak strange words written on the wall. Yup, she'd have to remember that. At least they were able to take it down. When Raika walked towards her, she put on a gentle smile. She was more than willing to share her name, they had done the same and they were companions for now, so there was no harm done.

"Well, we already got a bit of action." she said with a small chuckle. "My name is Seira, and I'm sure you already know my specialties." Since well, she had used them. She hoped they could find some source of water however, despite it being unlikely, since she would have more techniques at her disposal. At least she could use the earth of this room. When she noticed him look towards the mirror she frowned and spoke up. They needed to know. "Be careful if you go over there. I sensed another chakra signature behind it of the same strength as that demon. I don't know what it is, but we should be careful."

They needed to find a way out of this room, and from the looks of it the door was their best bet. Yet with all the other objects in the room, such as that mirror, she wondered if they had to do something to unlock it. She really hoped not, however. She followed Raika over towards the door, scanning it over for anything either of them might have missed. She wanted to know what was behind this door and if it were even worth their time. But first, something possibly helpful as well. To gain low-light vision so she could see better in this room, and possibly see anything invisible that was hiding from them. Using her Eyes of the Planes from her Soulcasting, she made several handseals and took another look around. After this, she would stand still and perform another set of handsigns.

She would split her soul from her body, to send it forth to the other side of the wall. She could extend her soul a total of fifteen meters, so since she was so close to the wall, she should be able to send it over and scout for a bit, to at least get a sense of what was on the other side, and even observe the opposite side of the door as the other two, to see if she could find anything helpful on that side.

User gains the ability of low-light vision and can see auras of invisible creatures (issuing invisible creatures only a 20% concealment). User also sees lingering auras where living creatures have touched solid objects much like a footprint. These lingering auras only last for 2 rounds and fade away.
Limit: Must be a Soulcaster.

Description: Target is personal. Range is the range of Searing Soul. Duration is 5 hours per Class Level. User lets the leash on their soul out some so it can explore and tell the user about what is out there. User can send their soul out in a range of Searing Soul. When the user uses this ability, the user is unable to move or make any movements. User's soul uses the same movements as the user. User knows what each other is doing and seeing. User is able to only take movements when the user reconnects with their soul ending this effect. Soul Scout cannot perform Jutsus. If a creature has Chakra Sight, True Seeing, they can see the user's soul as it moves about.

"Its Zakari, not Zaraki. Good job with the demon though guys, sorry I couldn't be much help heh. This was my first time in an actual battle situation, not as fun as I thought it would be when your life is on the line."

The Kedoin would rub a finger against the surface of the door he was examining. It was dusty and fuzzy and needed a good scrubbing. What information was there to be gained from this fact? Other than the fact that this door looked like it hadn't been used since the day it had been installed. Well that would mean that he and the others hadn't been deposited here through this way. So the door was most likely NOT the way out of this room. But...what if this was a bluff? What if the door WAS the only way out the room available to only them. Him and the others could have been deposited here via another secret entrance in the room but this door was the only way out. 

"This door may or may not lead out of this room. Let me check."

Still covered in the Earth Shield from a few moments ago he would attempt to open the door. In the case nothing happened he would turn to the only other way out the room, the mirror. The girl who had introduced herself as Seira said that there was a chakra signature behind the mirror. Behind? "The mirror. It may not be a mirror if there is a chakra signature behind it. We should check it out. What do you guys say?"
