[Raika Tatsu]

[[@takeuchi: Just wanted to make sure you knew that it is Raika, the one that didn't laugh, who has the sword. From your post it sounded like you though Zakari had it. Just wanted to clarify.]]

Tatsu was glad to see Seira conscious again, and it seemed he was right her scouting using her abilities, whatever they might be. He then looked at the man as he spoke, then offered to trade for his sword.

Raika looked down at the sword he held and then smirked at the man who had just came in. He could tell the man was mocking them about the creature in the other room, but Tatsu was not in the mood to call the man out on it. Raika himself had wanted to avoid it if at all possible so as to not waste energy or chakra unnecessarily, but if this man wanted to deal with it single-handedly, he was welcome to. However, the offer to trade the sword was a little tougher. Tatsu could use the blade, but since it wasn't a katana, a lot of his technique would be all but useless. He was also a bit worried about the possibility of it swiveling randomly, since he could not find any sign of a way to control the blade should it decide to move, which seemed to be possible from the look of it. After a short moment, he decided to relinquish the blade to the other contestant.

"Alright, you can have the sword. Be careful with it, however, it has a weird design, as well as a swivel like screw in the handle. It seems like the blade itself can move, but I did not find what might cause that to happen. Here." Tatsu handed the blade to the man and took the hatchet from him.

"You never gave us a name. It would be helpful to have something to call you by." Tatsu would then begin heading towards the direction of the other room, taking his lightning petals with him. "We should hurry back, and deal with the mirror quickly. The faster we figure out this maze of rooms, the faster we can move on."

[Chuunin Examiner]

A loud gong echoed through the areas around. It vibrated against the walls. Loud clicks and clanks could be heard as if something was triggered but everyone was safe and sound. Lights would appear along the walls as Chakra forms of Light. Then a bell would ring as a voice could be heard right after.

"The time is over, exams are over. Those who have not exited please follow light, and exit, there you will find your previous weaponry. Thank you and we hope you enjoyed the Exams."

(Basically you all can exit, do a little post saying you followed the light, and then leave. You can interact with each other if you like but once you exit. Basically you were stuck in a giant Tomb with each other. You were able to interact with each other. There are two levels, most if not all are on the 1st level below ground, and then you would have gotten to the ground floor. From there you can find multiple exits out of this area.

We will notify at a later date who is eligible to become a Chunin. The exams was stopped short due to some issues at hand.)

(Awwww... I just got back! Lol)

It seemed their exams had come to an early end. Would they pass? She had been looking forward to the rest of the challenge but it seemed to be for naught. With a small sigh, she glanced at the others and shrugged. Well nothing to do other than leave, and see how things went for them. So she would follow the lights that came on and leave, picking up her equipment on the way.

"For real? And here I was thinking we were gonna be fighting more demons." The Kedoin ran his fingers through his long hair, a small frown visible on his lips. It felt like it was not so long ago that he had woken up against a pillar, his weapons and equipment stripped from him and then facing off against a demon. And they hadn't progressed much from that point on, only making it to the next room. The other contestants couldn't have escaped in such short a time either, could they? Either way that couldn't change the fact that the Exams were over, time to retrieve his precious Dual Release Pouch Projector and make his way back home, to the Village. 

"Well, this was quite an experience. I look forward to our paths crossing again someday. Bye."

And with those final words the Leaf ninja made his way out of the maze, following the lights, taking Franceska in tow for good measure.... After a vague turn of events the Kedoin emerged with all his equipment in tow, Franceska presumably still on him. Whether or not anyone had been punched in the dick was anyone's guess. For now it was time to return home...

As Raika was about to hand the sword over, a voice came over the intercoms, signaling for the attendants that the exams were over.

"Well, that's unfortunate. Just when we were figuring out certain things. It seems there is no need to give up this sword now, so I'll see if they'll let me keep it. It was nice meeting you all, and I hope to see you guys again at some other time."

Tatsu deactivated all of his jutsu, and with the sword in hand and Nera's head on his shoulder, he followed the light to the exit, finding all of his gear intact. After re-equipping himself, he left, hoping good news followed later. Now it was time to make his way back to his village. He had been away for much too long...

Well, that ended rather abruptly. Following the directions he made his way out of the building and gather up his equipment and turned in what he had picked up. As he was about to leave those running the exams informed him of his passing. Well, it looked like he had the rank of Chuunin now.
