I was on the prowl, with a bit of rope, my axe and a telescope. I brought only a day's rations, for a I knew my station would allow me to demand food from any hamlet, and they would oblige. All knew the might of Yukigakure, or at least suspected it. It had been a long time since we demonstrated real power, but they saw that as a sign of prosperity, not as the sign of weakness that it truly was. Regardless of that fact, I marched through the tundra, where it was warm, and the wild grasses were growing again. It was the ideal day for some animal searching, and I was just happy to be out of that stuffy old castle, staring at those bland old tapestries prophesying war. I was ready to make war, and make it a personal act. But a man can hardly go to war without aid of a beast. I stood on the top of the cold hill, and removed my explorer's scope from my bag, holding it up to my eye, I looked around in all directions, for I knew I was in the area in which the legendary horse Tundra lived. With any luck I would find him soon.

Description: Picture A large 4 legged animal primarily used for riding, racing, and carrying loads. Speed and sleekness would be sacrificed for rugged strength and endurance. Another major factor in the creation and use of heavy draft horses was the introduction of the shoulder collar, or yoke, into European carting. The heavier weight of the horse added a great amount to the force of impact in the knight’s lance, both in warfare and in the tournament. A heavy horse, commonly called a “destrier,” weighed twice as much as a normal riding horse; and when the knight struck a conventionally mounted opponent, the impact could be devastating.
