Robbers. Pitfalls. Snakes: all things Shigeru would have expected to get in the way during his trip through the Land of Fang; and all things he had planned for. He had not thought that the enough-for-one-and-a-half-people supply of food he'd packed running out being one of them, but as he sat on a stump in the middle of fang's foliage-rich forests, trying to untwist the knots in his stomach by angrily downing his third litre of water, he mentally added it to the list.
The trees around Shig looked like more like skulking shadows than trees, and the path next to him was freckled with what little moonlight managed to get through the dense canopy of leaves. It had gotten dark maybe two hours ago, maybe more- a fog of ice had passed through earlier, and until just now it had been near-impossible to see past his own hand. SoShig wasn't 100% sure what time it was now, or what time it had been when he'd clipped his bag on a passing branch, or what time it had been when he'd realised the fact- only that it was late enough that all the swearing in the word wouldn't bring his dinner back. So now he was trying to bask in the pleasant coolness of the forest and the water, ignoring the fact that all the trees and leaves looked like they were caked in powdered sugar and the gnawing in his stomach.
He pulled the canteen away from his mouth and squinted at the map next to him in the darkness. The trip to Xerxes- Lord Xerxes, whatever- was nearly through, if the checkpoints were any indication. He had maybe a few hours of walking left, and common sense told him that if he could tolerate just a few more hours of hunger then he could spare himself from trying to hunt at night. Just make camp, set some traps, and try to sleep off the hunger. He could buy something when he reached a town. Common sense. His stomach told him differently.
Shigeru pushed himself off the stump, collecting his map, compass, flint, and the rest of his supplies, waving his hand and adding more water to his now-empty canteen. This part of Fang seemed all but a ghost town, and the Kaishin took reassurance in the fact that he wouldn't be taking anyone important's heads off if he missed a shot or ten. Reaching into the pack on his belt, he caught hold of two of his kunai. He'd had time to adjust his grip when the first rustling in the quiet forest drew his immediate attention, and quickly as he could, he drew out the weapons and aimed. One knife whizzed through the air. Shigeru was made known of his miss by the fluttering of wings, and soon the crow had flown well out of sight, holding a dead lizard in its beak.
Preparing his next kunai, the teen looked up at the sky, just for a quick prayer. "Lord, ah, Xerxes? Yeah, If you give me an advance on that blessing, that'd be solid."

Suiton Soushi (Water Creation)
Rank: “D”, “C”, “B”, “A”, “S”
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: With this technique the user is able to create water from oxygen in the air for water techniques. When this water is created they can then manipulate the size and shape of the water, controlling it within their radius.
Special: This jutsu can be used as a source of Suiton jutsu without additional handseals.
Drawback: If the water is made for use outside specific jutsu or to manipulate the size/shape of water in their radius, then this jutsu requires handseals.
Description: By using their chakra a Kaishin member can manipulate the molecules in the air and allow them to take the shape and form of water. In doing so the user is capable of performing techniques that require a water source. The amount of water that can be made, as well as the radius depends on the rank of the jutsu. For D rank the user can create up to four cubic meters of water in a radius of four meters. At C rank eight cubic meters and a radius of eight meters. At B rank seventeen cubic meters of water in a radius of fifteen meters. At A rank thirty two cubic meters of water in a radius of twenty meters. At S rank fifty two cubic meters of water in a radius of thirty meters.
Limit: Must be of the Kaishin Bloodlimit. Must have Water Release.
