How much TP for old account?

Simple suggestion.

I see threads going up about every week asking how much TP they have available for their old account, and variations on that theme.

I would like to suggest that a staff member make a simple post in support and sticky it, putting in all of the dates that TP was given, and the requirements for getting it. I think you should be able to reduce the support threads on that subject considerably.

Naw I really don't want to do that mainly because then anyone can see it. Then you'll have people coming in with exact numbers of "Oh this account has this much TP" without truly verifying if the account is indeed theirs. I like it when people ask because then we got some kind of record.

Staff actually has a thread that tracks this I believe. (At least I have a spreadsheet somewhere.) - Its quick enough for us to check, but as Heero said, it is important that we get to verify people are who they say they are. There has been prior incidents of "identity theft."
