Setting: The backyard of Iko's, Takius' Shaman Trainer, hut. It has a nice grassy layout with a zen garden of sand, a pond full of clear water and a small pile of hot coals.

Doton - Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)

Effect: A technique where the user hides within the ground for a brief moment to surprise attack the opponent from under ground.

Drawback: ---
Description: The user takes the time to push into the ground by using their Earth Release. The user pushes into the ground quickly so that to be used against the opponent later on. The user at this point cannot necessarily move within the ground at this moment, but the user does know by feel of when an opponent is right above. When an opponent is right under the user reaches up to take the opponent and drag them back down to the ground in one fell swoop without movement or notice. The opponent is unable to move for one post and the user is capable of slamming out of the ground with one movement.

Takius would enter the ground which she called home. Iko was waiting for her, meditating in the backyard which he made into an elemental training ground for the young shaman. “My child, today you learn how to be one with the earth. The Earth is defensive in nature and becoming one with it could save your life. Today you will learn Shinjuu Zanshu no Justu.” Takius smirked, she knew Iko would have training for her to do, she would need to learn a lot more then just one simple justu to complete her mission for the village. “Alright, let’s begin master!” said Takius with a determined flip in her voice. “Alright, first, my young shaman, you must concentrate your charka into the earth. Mold it, form it to your will and push yourself into the ground. Don’t try to move around if you get into the ground. That will be the next step. To clarify there will be three different steps for three different justu. Come get me when you are done this first step. You know The Earth, you do not need me to watch every step.”

As Iko went inside the small cottage Takius knew it was time to get to work. She unhooked her cloak and laid it on a boulder in the garden. She centered herself and whispered “Mother Earth, guide me.” With this she clapped her hands together and took a deep breath in. Takius then focused her charka, centering herself and pushing her charka into her feet and through them, into the earth herself. As her charka seeped into the hard soil beneath her like water draining into a tree’s roots she felt the earth directly below her. Letting her charka become enfused with the soil she started to apply pressure with it, trying to push it down. Takius felt the earth crack put it wasn’t enough to push it.

‘Again!’ She thought to herself as she pushed her charka into the earth again. This time, however, Takius didn’t apply pressure with her charka but mixed it into the soil. She pictured her chakra swirling into the soil like an ingredient added into the mix for a cake. With this she could feel the earth becoming softer and her feet swiftly dropped into the ground. “Shit!” Takius said as her feet were stuck in the ground unable to move. “Well there is only one way out now..” she said with a slight giggle.

The young shaman then centered herself once again as she was stuck in the earth and let her charka flow both to her feet and her hands. The chakra in her feet, which were still in the ground, flowed deeper into the ground and swirled into it. As she felt the ability to move her toes in the ground she released a flurry of hand signs and then pressed her hands on the ground. With this a burst of charka released from her hands into the immediate ground around her. This clashed with the chakra already in the soil and the girl swiftly dropped into the earth as it closed just above her. She felt swallowed in the darkness but could feel pressure from above. It wasn’t heavy or damanging but more sensory.

‘Focus.’ She thought as she now let the chakra pulse from her whole body. With this she could swiggle around in the earth and she opened up some moving room above her. ‘Now!’ With this room she pushed her hands up and the earth opened up. Takius was able to release herself and mimed the act of pulling someone else into the earth. She then watched as the earth closed up in a blink of an eye. “Iko, come out her!” The girl cheered herself as she thought she was ready for the next step.

Doton - Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection)

Effect: By using the similarity of Doton - Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) the user is capable of moving through the earth and all around.
Special: "Handseals" before performing
Drawback: Technique cannot be used through Sand
Description: The user uses the basic Doton - Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) as they slam down into the ground. Doing so the user is capable of moving about within the ground capable of rising, singing and capable of pushing through the very ground in multiple types of ways. This type of attack may be used so then the user may move away from the very opponent and attack at the moment's notice.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release, Must have knowledge of the Doton - Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)

“Iko, I was able to complete the first step!” Takius said as she watched the old sage slowly walk out of the cottage into the backyard. “Ha-ha, well done my child. I can see that from the cracked earth around you. Now, the second step is moving through the earth.” Takius smiled “I have already done that, I was able to wig- Iko laughed "I mean flow, almost swim through it at fast speeds, like a shark. Dochuu Eigyo… Once you able to swim, move and jump in and out of the earth like water itself, come find me again. Now back to my nap ha-ha.” The old Iko bellowed as he went into the hut again. “Lazy fool…” Takius mummered to herself as she sighed. ‘Alright, step two you are mine.’

The young shaman was now alone in the backyard and it was time to get back to work. ’So if step two is really another justu then I should just be able to learn it on its own right?’ With this Takius thought she would be in the clear and would get this done with ease. She clapped her hands together and started to let her chakra dance around her, not wildly as that is unfocused and chaotic like the elements when they roam free. No, Takius’ charka danced with passion and precision, swirling around her gathering towards her center. With a small grunt she would push her chakra into her feet and let is seep into the earth below. A smirk appeared across the girl’s face and she lashed out a flurry of hand signs pushing off the ground into almost a swan dive. Thinking that the mechanics of Shinjuu Zanshu no Justu would apply here she would just swim into the ground.

She was wrong.

With the swan dive Takius basically face planted into the ground and just laid there for a second. Her fist pounded into soil in frustration with herself. ’Ok… so if the same principle doesn’t work what am I missing..’ Then Takius remembered Iko’s words, this was the second step in earth movement. He called it a step because it needs to BUILD on the first one. Takius would need to be in Shinjuu Zanshu no Justu to learn Dochuu Eigyo. The earth shaman got back on her feet and thought this through. ”So with Shinjuu Zanshu no Justu I gathered my chakra and merged it with the earth, for Dochuu Eigyo I have to like it constantly mush with the earth, allowing my charka to constantly push it out of the way ever so slightly. In theory… by doing this I should be able to swim through it!” Excited that she may have cracked something like a secret code to her Takius centered herself once again.

The girl’s charka started to build up within her. She would let it dance again but unlike last time her dance would just be for her but for the earth as well. Her chakra would surge into a symphony of beauty as it swirled with the charka living within the earth. Clinging to earth she felt the connection, the connection that al shamans want to feel with the earth. This connect was simply her chakra not mixing but blending into the soil. As she felt her body slowly fade into the ground she picked herself up. A string of hand signs occurred and she slammed her hands into the ground. With this she disappeared into the earth.
The feeling was… interesting to say the least. It was dark but at the same time it was like she could see everything above her. Now the final step, movement.

Her chakra flow needed to be constant and consistent. Too much and she would lose control, not enough and she would be stuck in one place, basically just using Shinjuu Zanshu no Justu. She pictured her chakra as if it were water molding into the soil. After all she was swimming through the earth, so what better idea that making the earth feel like water. She would then propel herself slowly at first through the earth. The movements were basic at first, like a child learning to swim. As she felt more at home in the ground she wouldn’t even need to kick or use her hands to push. She would just keep a thin layer of charka around her body and feel like a bullet traveling through the air. Takius’ last move would be a burst of chakra to shoot her out of the ground and land safely on land. ”Iko-sensei, get out here!!!” She would wait for her master for what was next.
