Gazing up at the heavens above, Itaru’s mind wandered back to Chi, just pondering simply over what she could possibly be doing at this time. He shook his head and released the tension in his shoulders by drawing in a large inhale and slowly exhaling it out through his nostrils. Rat; Snake; Rat; Dragon; Snake; Rat. These were the hand signs to the Jutsu he almost had mastered, but not quite. His chakra surged into his hands at this point.
With his understanding that he needed shadows in the area in order for this technique to be successful, all Itaru needed now was a target. Still holding the final Rat hand seal, the young man glanced left and right in search of anything. Kokkan, a large she-wolf padded up to Itaru with a loud snarl shaking her esophagus. Itaru gazed downward at released the final Rat seal to place an open palm on her large cranium.
A snap of her jaws and Itaru jerked his arm away, sending a glare piercing into those glowing green hues of hers. Her tail ascended in her defiance, and Itaru began the lengthy series of hand signs. As soon as they were completed with accuracy, he placed his palms against the femme wolf’s chest, and released his charka as it surged through the animal. The shadows within the area appeared to be summoned to the she-wolf.
Kokkan didn’t retaliate against these shadows that slowly began to make a spherical shape around her massive body. Itaru jumped back to view the perfect dome that engulfed Kokkan’s figure. She gazed around prison, sniffing some at the blackness that confined her. It did not harm her in any way, and if it had, Itaru would never have made her a sacrifice. The shadow black barrier began to lower, and Itaru approached.
Itaru went over the same hand signs as before, his chakra creating a twisting journey to his hands, and his hands alone. That Rat seal was tightly grasped as he moved his opened palms towards the immense figure of Kokkan, who jumped back before Itaru could make connection. Itaru slowly stepped forward, noting that the wolf was clearly on alert mode. With the chakra still very much active within both hands, Itaru prepared himself.
The Chuunin pushed himself forward and slammed his palms against Kokkan’s vulnerable chest, of which was stained crimson red with the blood of her victims. Itaru’s chakra was pulled away from his hands and entered the body of Kokkan. As Itaru began to channel his chakra, he noticed the shadows being pulled away from where they originated and created a dome shape around Kokkan’s body, who growled some at Itaru’s actions.
Not the type to take any sort of crap from any creature, no matter how large, Itaru snatched her muzzle and made her look into his silvery eyes. She continued to growl and snap at Itaru, who used his free hand to lightly snack the top of her muzzle, but not so hard it would really harm her. All the while, his chakra would be filling the area around the large wolf. Itaru would release her muzzle roughly and allow the shadows to confine her.
Itaru glanced back, realizing that Ikiri decided to follow. Hopefully his recent injuries wouldn’t play on the minds of the Leaf ninja once they were in Konoha. Surely not… At least, that was what Itaru was led to believe. The shadows diminished around the large wolf and she stepped forward, as though tempted to try tearing apart the Stone Shinobi. Itaru would force the wolf to the ground within an instant, and it seemed she understood that very well too.
While the Chuunin turned his body around to head towards the direction of Grass, the mammal would follow a few feet behind him, her paws crashing onto the terrain with intense power. He couldn’t help but wonder how the Hokage would react to seeing Stone ninja in his village. Would he instantly send ANBU to attack, or would he be a bit more understanding? Not even Itaru could begin to imagine, but he was willing to wait and see what would happen.
