Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: In order to go into the tecniques the user must know the right Meridian in which the pressure point is located within. There are a plethora of Meridians that a user must know. This technique must be learned multiple times as it allows the user to memorize the location of one Meridian each time learned. The Meridians are The Lung Meridian, The Colon Meridian, The Stomach Meridian, The Spleen Meridian, The Heart Meridian, The Small Intestine Meridian, The Bladder Meridian, The Kidney Meridian, The Pericardium Meridian, Triple Heater Meridian, The Gall Bladder Meridian, The Liver Meridian, The Conceptor Meridian, The Governing Vessel, and Extra Points. User must know all Meridians before going into Extra Points and The Governing Vessel. Limit: Must learn from a master of Dian Xue Shu. Must know all Hand and finger strengthening technique.
From the stomach to the spleen was not a big leap for Kyodai. As a trained medical professional he knew everything was connected in some fashion. But learning the specific points that affected the spleen again was surprising. He didn't know why he was surprised anymore but he was. So many details he missed in regular medical school and then medical shinobi track at the academy.
Dian Xue Shu went into so much greater detail it was almost frightening. So little he had learned in comparison made him feel slightly inadequate. He thought he was pretty good being a medic and having as fine of control as any main branch Hyuuga. But it seemed in his pride he had missed the humility of there beings something just as precise as Hyuuga taijutsu but could heal.
This made Kyodai more determined to pay attention to his studies. He needed to know everything he could possibly learn about the human body. No point too small or too irrelevant. It may not be the most popular method of healing because of the work involved, but he was going to try it. He was going to use what he was studying and use it in actual medicine.

Kyodai continued his research into the various medians of the human body. Though this would work on other anatomy as well. But the placement of certain nerves would be different. It would require a in depth study of a creature's anatomy for similar techniques to work. But moving in his studies he came to a great muscle that ran an entire system of the human body. The human heart is one of the strongest and weakest parts of the body.
The studies that Kyodai was reading about on the human heart had nothing to do with emotional or philosophical debates on it. No this was a serious factual accounts of when and where certain nerves interact with that muscle. Most of these meridian points in actually are an in depth study of the nervous systems interaction with other organs and systems. And the heart was one that could be greatly affected.
Kyodai also realized the great potential of death in a subject if wrongly applied pressure that affected the heart. He would have to be very careful of how he applied his knowledge unless the wrong effect happens. Kyodai though was always very precise in anything he did. As he was reading the assignment his master gave he realized some of this knowledge could apply to his surgeries as well. This was making him a much better physician and fighter.

12/20 It was still fascinating the book that was still in his hands. The words and actions of Kyodai went to the background as the foreign languages of the devils incited him ever more. The mannerisms that the devils portrayed seemed like it heavily influenced the language a bit. Their lawful hierarchy led to four ways the language developed. The four barriers that were in the language varied based on the hierarchy the devils were in. Minor devils, Lesser Devils, Greater Devil and Archdevils were the four castes of their realm. It made since, if the position of their caste indicated how well they were respected, their language would also reflect that.
The Minor devils based their language on quick synonymous grunts and shouting to get their message across, mainly used in battlefields, small groups and skirmishes. Their actions did not seem to follow with the lawful path most devils pursued, but it was more mischievous and them using their quick wit to get about. The Lesser devils, compared to the minor, was like humans to apes. Their tongue was that of more complexity and pronunciations, much like the average intelligent human would use. But their tongue still held attributes of gravely grunts and not so much of elegance to it.
The Greater Devils form of the language is what Rael enjoyed the most. It held a melody to the language and commanded respect. If he were to compare them to humans, it would be that of a noble. Both beings seemed to be haughty in nature, but not to be dismissed entirely. A silver tongue is dangerous in the right places. A lesson Rael was too familiar with. Rael frowned at the fourth caste. There wasn't much on it, except that if mortals were to hear an archdevil speak in such a manner, their beings would be driven to despair and hatred.

With a final thought, he closed the book he was reading and went back inside the library to put the book back to its proper place. The thought of regeneration was high on his mind. But he would have to have an extensive knowledge on medical ninjutsu to get anywhere close to that. RAel sighed and headed to the hospital for remedial training.

Able learner: 7 total dice. Eidect memory +1 to die rolls.
Lore, Animal/Vermin (Coastal) Rank: "E" Skill: Skill Effect: This skill enables a character to observe the actions or habitat of an animal or vermin and interpret what is going on as well as identifying said animal or vermin. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals and Vermin creatures. Identifying a Vermin or Animal Creature is dependent on the Difficulty check found in each creature. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill. Limit: --- The shift at the hospital was grueling. He knew his next trial there was healing serious wounds and then eventually regrowing limbs. Oh how Rael hated healing others. But in due time he will be able to have a greater medical understanding. Rael found himself in the library once more. Creatures were fascinating once you got to know how they functioned, or what propertied were useful in rituals and alchemy. There were well over sixteen books on the subjects. The first one he grabbed was on the coastal regions that a few countries had.
Opening the book to a random page, there was a picture of a sea harker. It was a massive fish, capable of sinking ships and causing whirlpools with just its body. The entry on the beast said it possessed low intelligence, but being able to attempt another strike a different way seemed that it would hold a higher scale for intelligence. But Rael could be wrong. A chuckle escaped his lips reading that it was only good for eating. Quite a rare delicacy if there haven’t been any accounts of killing such a beast.

With a turn of a page, and image of an almost intangible looking jelly fish was present. It was some vermin of the sea. A sea wasp. Apparently, it was claimed as the most venomous sea creature in the world. An impressive number was listed in the entry. Sixty humans in less than three minutes was an impressive feat, but not as impressive as the length it held and the number of tentacles it held. Bigger than most humans, and almost being invisible to the naked eye made it a fearsome foe if one delved into the sea. It was almost ironic at what the venom was capable of once it was diluted and mixed with other matter. A serum that helped negate even supernatural occurrences indicated it is a quite potent antivenom.
The venom itself was one that would be useful in the future possible. It was an almost untraceable poison that mimicked a heart attack. Rael would have to pay someone to find and kill such a beast of the sea. After all, he was not strong enough to do such deeds, especially in the ocean. Turning a few pages over, there was an entry for a rather tame beast, common too. A giant seahorse. Shy beast, never looking for trouble. There was nothing of use in this creature. So, Rael skimmed through the entry and went to the next sea counter.

A feral seal, a name that was misleading. Apparently to the druids who managed to talk to such animal, said they were rather friendly and admirable, before the seal would ripe a limb from their body. They held similar personalities with a shark, wanting the prey to be bleeding or thrashing about. The usage for such a beast was rather laughable. Quite a bit of work just to make leather clothing just to farm. Still an ironic animal. Misjudged and labeled. It was no use to Rael, so he simply ignored the seal and went to the next animal, a greater seawolf, mythical beasts of the sea. It was a legit mix of a seal and a wolf.
The Sea-wolf had the fearsome fangs, snout and head of a wolf, but the fins and sleek tail that belonged to the seal. Since both mammals wore fur it only made sense that the combination of the two would have fur as well. They held the same pack dynamic as wolves, with the strongest as their leader. But it was funny that it was only males that were the leaders of the pack. It was quite sad that the seawolves held no parental skills, abandoning their pup to fend for themselves. It was no wonder that they were a rare creature to find. Rael was getting bored of sea creatures, but he suffered through and continued reading the book.

Turning the page was a giant manta ray, with its long barbed tail that held paralytic serum that would stun its prey. Apparently, they had quite an appetite, allowing them to swallow things whole. With almost no intelligence in the fish, they held no remorse or care for what the swallowed. There was more generic information on rays in general, but Rael quickly turned the next page, seeing a picture of a.. camel?
What stuck out the most was the immense size this beast held. It was titan! Rael was sure that there were more creatures in the dark depths of the sea. How could it fit so many creatures this size? Let alone allow it to thrive! Rael kept on reading, seeing that it was indeed an herbivore, feeding on kelp as it swam through the ocean. It was a great feat of breathing underwater for an entire year without the need to resurface for air. But the Sea Camal had to resurface once a year to allow air into their humps. Druids have tried to speak with them. They are harmless beings, but they do not understand the significance of land dwellers. Their size are also capable of smashing and destroying a castle to rubble. Rael’s brows were raised. Such an impressive creature. One he did not hope to meet in combat.

The sea was a weird place. The amalgamations of creatures was just baffling, especially this sea prowler. A gigantic catfish looking beast that..well.. prowls shallow waters. Rael was confused on how such a fish would be able to such form to inhabit the shallows. But the fish enjoyed any depth to prowl on their prey. The things they eat, which was pretty much anything, ranging from young giants, to anything else that is about 12 feet in height or so. Another creature of the deep that Rael did not want to be seen with.
Towards the end of the book was a cute picture of an aquatic sea wolf. The picture was of a cub swimming on the surface of the water. The entry stated that it was able to breathe perfectly fine under water as well as on land in the air. These wolves were able to be domesticated by proper trainers who delt with such thing. Rael shrugged of such notion. After all, why would he need a pet?

A cackling noise disrupted the silence of the clear night. Moon hidden from the gaze of humanity, a fire was the only source of light and warmth around Rael. The thoughts of his parents death emerged constantly to his mind, keeping him in a morose mood. 'Breath in, breath out.' Was the mantra Rael played in his mind. With each exhale and inhale, the shadows around him expanded and contorted with each cycle. This was now a practice in Rael's nightly routine that he often never realizes he is doing such a thing. The shadows, the hungered for his chakra. Rael crouched down, left arm resting on his knees, right arm dangled freely off the other arm. Chakra was molding into his hands, feeding the shadows as they whispered and withered onto his hands.
In his absence of mind, Rael did not cut the feed between his chakra and the greed the shadows had. Eventually, the shadow slowly raised from the ground, still connected to the stretched out limb. The shadow began to take form. Starting with the connection, a sickly grey hand grasped Rael's own pale hand. The shadow morphed into shape, taking on a keen resemblance to himself. Lastly, the head of the morphed shadow grew a Cheshire grin and just stared with vacant, silent eyes. Without thought and emotion, Rael lifted his head and gazed and the chakra creation. His own shadow showed no remorse for what they, no, he did. The shadows, the beckoned for Rael to use them, they yearned to provoke others.
The shadow puppet in front of him, Rael knew, would cause no harm to others. It was merely an image of himself. Rael fed the puppet a bit more of his chakra, almost begging his shadow to make him feel again. The shadow happily obliged. There was a quick slap and a stunned Rael. The slap was real and it hurt! A feral grin was now present, allowing more chakra into the shadow, who, in return, stood up and kicked him in the gut. The shadow puppet was silently mocking him to fight back. Its body gestured as if it was laughing, but the silence was ever present.

Titana had been walking through the dark world, lit up only by the light of the moon, and found herself searching for something unknown. The air seemed to be filled with the aura of something dark, but she pushed onward. A medic often found herself moving through darkness, and often trying to provide some sort of light. Eventually, Titana did pull out a flashlight so as to help her see from her medical pack. Inside of her pack was not only the flashlight, but also her goggles with underwater and x-ray vision lenses as well as three kunai. Her waterbottle belt was slung around her waist, over her tactical outfit and far below her white scarf which covered her mouth, and held two medium-sized water bottles. Additionally, Titana had her flute in her hand in case anything were to happen.
As she walked, Titana was manipulating the water throughout her body and taking occasional sips from her water bottles. It made her feel good to be on the move again, and eventually the heard the sound of someone in the distance. She peered through the area with her flashlight and came upon a man who was doing some sort of training. There also appeared to be some sort of shadow figure in front of him, although with the light of the flashlight she didn't know if it would stay. Titana would react with a bit of fright, but attempt to shine the light on it to disband it. Meanwhile, she would be rushing water throughout the cells of her body and to her back, where she concentrated the most of her energy.
Soon, tiny streams of water were trickling down her back and trying to make up tentacles. She had once seen a master of the Hozuki arts do something similar, and wished to give herself enough defense to deal with the person and the shadow that stood before her. Was it possible that this was a member of some secret cult? Or a demon even? She had heard stories of such ferocious enemies and was, admittedly, a little excited to meet one in person. The small streams were beginning to take on some sort of shape, and over her tactial clothing on her back water would be forming into four distinct patches. Titana held the flashlight tight in one hand, flute in the other, and shouted at the man, "Are you alright?"

12/70 Rael didn’t hear another person approach his little camp fire, but he did see the flashlight’s beam bounce onto his shadow. She would see that it looked exactly like him, except everything about the shadow puppet would be more of a sickly grey in color compared to the waxen complexion Rael held. Just losing that focus for that second made the shadow slowly melt back into position in front of him. Rael gazed towards the new comer, and could faintly see that there was a young girl before him. Rael couldn’t see what she was doing with the water, and cackled a bit. He brushed off himself a bit before responding to the girl.
“I am more than alright, my dear!” Rael laxed his hands onto his hip, arms jutting out slightly. He cocked his head slightly and leered towards the girl. “But girly, I must say, do not sneak up on people in the dead of night. You might not like what you see.” She seemed crass, but not stupid. Rael wanted to see what she would do. Going through the handseals once more, the shadows instantly devoured the energy he gave them, and the shadow puppet flared to life once more. Rael knew this was just the puppet he had used before. Rael placed his right hand on the shadows shoulder and pumped more of his chakra into the shadow creation. A whisper of a command of ‘frighten her’ was given to the construct, who in returned held a sadistic smile.
The limitations of the creation were unknown to Rael, and this was a great example of what it could do. Knowing only the rudimentary style of fighting, the shadow got in a sloppy stance and charged the woman. Rael also wanted to see how fast the shadow would disperse, and form back to him from a distance. If the girl would allow the shadow to approach her, Rael would give a command of ‘Vanish’ before it would strike or even touch the girl. He would then observe the shadow vanish into the night. His gaze went down for a second, enough to see that his shadow came back to him almost instantly.
