Dravocn sighed to himself as he looked to the water at the reflection of himself, a small growl under his breath before focusing on the imagery he wanted to form. Imagining Kuroki's rumored form behind him and solidifying it using his chakra to bring his imagination to life. The practice he was attempting was the art of phantasms, creating spectres of shadow or horror with the mind. His target was himself, he closed his eyes, imagining a shadowy figure with silver toned eyes, a skeletal arm hidden under the pitch black cloak. It seemed that the boy was more or less imagining a wraith and trying to create it from scratch rather than Kuroki. 

He opened his eyes to see his reflection and saw a faint image behind him, it wasn't believable and he rolled his eyes at his lack of skill. He growled lowly and then the image began to growl. Considering his target was himself, he was the only one who could see or hear it. He sighed and closed his eyes again to clear his mind of his emotions, specifically his anger as he had assumed that was what was distracting his chakra. He opened them and focused on the image again, creating a smaller version of the wraith he had been trying to make before. 

A small and infant-like radius and ulna without muscle, seeing straight through the center of the forearm, he focused solely on the arm first, starting with the color of the bone. A pearly white arm slowly dissolved into a yellowed and frayed outer skeletal bone. He took a deep breath and moved to the emptiness of the shadowy figure, a constantly shifting cloak of darkness coated the skeleton, as if the shadow had physical form. The piercing white eyes from within the decrepit skull were simply bright white lights.... though the image was still incomplete and it once again angered the boy that he wasn't instantly capable of using the abilities of a ninja.

"Calm young one. Genin patience and time are the ways of Genjutsu. Instant will only gain you failure. " The shadowed figure stayed near a tombstone leaning against it, watching his 'pupil'. The young one had some talent but no discipline it seemed. But that came with time and experience so it was of little matter. His eyes glowed from the darkness full of his soul filled powers.

He heard the genin spectre's words, he sighed and nodded as he stared into his reflection. He then he growled again, giving the wraith a low growl and a husky shrieking voice. It actually began to feel like it was the real thing, and the environment only helped create the proper ambiance for this creature. The black cloak grew darker, about as dark as an obsidian stone, and shifted as if it was cloth. It reached toward him with a decayed skeletal hand, it moved unnaturally still however... which wasn't exactly what he was aiming for if he wanted to believe it was real. 

He cracked his neck and the sound of his neck popping was given to the bones of the wraith for the sound of it's movement. He sighed to himself and with that added a second sound to the husky sounding cry of the wraith. The skull formed within the shadow cloak and the spine that held the head up slowly vanished into the cloak. The ribs and the rest of the skeleton seemed to be non-existent, the boy smiled at his creation and gave the skull a menacing and empty grin. Upon that the wraith gently placed its long fingers on his shoulder as it grew to full size and he focused more so that it would give him the illusion to feel the monster. He took a deep breath and gently put his hand on the wraith's hand which was placed on his shoulder, hoping to feel it as well as see and hear it.

"Yes, young one that is better. Now show me what you really can do. " His dark whispery voice was enough to send shivers down grown men's backs. How was this genin taking the scary mentor only time would tell. It seemed though the kid did have some potential, maybe more than the Spectre. His glowing eyes watching the young man carefully to see just what he could do.

The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. The phantasmal force has the same movements as the user while it deals "D" Rank of subdual damage on each successful attack. Note that because the phantasm is inside the creature's mind the phantasm can always make a full round attack of 3 movements per round. If disbelieved or if the creature leaves the user's line of sight the phantasmal force immediately dissipates.

Dravocn took a deep breath and smiled when his Wraith was finished. He stared at the Wraith and it vanished. He began to restart from the beginning. He turned around and looked to the Genin, the Spectre of the Falls, Kuroki. He stared at the man-made ghost and tried to focus, sending his chakra through the Genin to his mind to show him the Wraith he had made.

He concentrated on the cloak of the creature he'd made first. The shadowy blackness that was the essence hiding the bones of the haunting being. The decayed and decrepit skeletal hands of the creature began to fade in and out of the cloak as the ever-shifting shadow fluttered around it's wearer. The empty skull with eyes of a shining bright white light began to appear with an iron crown wrapped around the cranium. The light and raspy voice of the being made itself known as it opened its jaw, pitch black from the inside. The rest of the skeleton was slowly developed and then hidden within the shadowy cloak.

Despite the slow development and creation of the Wraith, he'd hoped he wasn't offending the Genin and ally by showing him the creation. He was called the Spectre of the Falls... and his looks showed proof of such. Though he'd also hoped that the looks of the Wraith would also symbolize that it wasn't an offense toward the being.

Upon showing him the ally the wraith he'd created, he decided he'd continue his training as he apologized. He took a breath and focused his chakra into his vocal cords as he continued sending his chakra to the Spectre's mind. He looked to the Spectre and began using his chakra to vibrate his vocal cords to send chakra infused sound waves toward the Taki ninja, while also dampening the effects of the aggressive part of the brain, the reptilian brain. 

"I apologize if I had offended you or if you had felt any aggression being made at you for my transference of the Phantasmal image from my mind to yours. I simply wished to show you what I had created. I would also like to apologize again for trespassing on your property, I hadn't known that you owned this place. I simply came to train, and if you could assist in informing me on how I'm doing, that would be greatly appreciated." he said, continuing to maintain his chakra on his voice, vocal cords and the receptors of the other person's brain. "Perhaps, you could tell me if my attempts are successful or if you can see them, but really any and all assistance would be appreciated, please and thank you." he finished with a smile.

He continued to keep hold of the receptors and spread his chakra to the receptors of the Spectre's brain and hoped he'd been even in the slightest bit successful. He tried to imagine what his next words would be should his chakra concentration and manipulation not be enough. He sighed to himself in silence as he waited for further input.

Dravocn thought to himself as he waited 'If I combine the two chakras, would it be better? It could involve be like releases, needing air and earth chakra to make sand... so... perhaps this would be the same thing.' he thought, his eyes lighting up at the theory and a grin grew on his face as he cracked his neck. He took a deep breath, still waiting as he tried focus on the abilities he had learned. The creation of the wraith was made by instilling his imagination into another and adding his chakra to the imagery. The tantalizing words made by the pattern perception was from the vocals. 'Perhaps if I try, rather than putting my chakra into the minds of others, I put my request into my chakra and into the world... like rune-crafting?' he thought, not entirely sure how to apply his theory. 

Dravocn stared at the spectre, still waiting for a response. He tried instilling the ally with a bit of general power. Nothing big, he wasn't exactly powerful enough just yet. He tried merging his chakra into the mind of his ally again. He tried sending the chakra from his vocals through the mind to make him minorly and generally more powerful. Holding onto the the chakra, he could feel his failure of an attempt. He frowned at himself and took a deep breath.

Spectre's voice suddenly came to life as the young man used him for his experiments into the spells of the mind. Spectre specialized in such spells even though he didn't use them often. For they relied on the person to be unaware and susceptible to the spells in question. But he could feel the kid improving. " Better and much like crafting runes if that is your reference. No offense taken, for your spells would have little effect on a prepared mind. But I can sense and feel the chakra energies you manipulate. Skillful you are becoming, a ways you yet have to go. "

Dravocn nodded in response to his ally "Genjutsu does tend to have that problem yes." he said with a chuckle and sighed as he stared at his hands, a flicker of his medical ninjutsu chakra made itself known before he cracked his neck and looked to the Spectre. "Though I'm only starting out, I have no real ability yet." he said as he took another breath and closed his eyes, separating his chakra within himself and tried changing one half into a pattern aspect, and the other into a phantasm aspect. His lack of progress bothered him but he wasn't one to give up so easily, after all, his goals would require quite a lot of chakra anyway.

He figured his current struggle was based on possible confusion on what makes up his goal. So he decided to define the nature of each type of chakra before trying to mix it. He looked down, his eyes still closed 'Pattern chakra is to capture the attention of a target. The variable uses of the Pattern type is fairly limited as it is merely a distraction or chaotic inducing chakra... almost completely pure in that aspect, how you use it is still sort of a dice roll.' He thought, changing one half of his chakra into Pattern chakra.

'Phantasm chakra is more controlled, dealing in fears for the most part. Ruled by disbelief and curiosity, fear and the mind. The voice in the wind, the monster under your bed. Typically aspects such as that. The Phantasm chakra is based on delving into the mind of the target and bringing their worst fears to life through their mind. The uses of this chakra are many and take an inventive mind to truly use it to its full potential... avid users of the Phantasm should be revered and commended for their minds... and feared for their ability to rend your mind asunder.' he chuckled at his own description, he understood the descriptions were bias, though the uses were still appreciated.

Kaitou rested by the haunted doomsday land he had been led to. "What's with this town? It used to be all waterfalls and trees...now it's covered in X-Files vibe." The Masamune had fallen into a deep meditation. The last few weeks had been spent developing his combat techniques further. His weaknesses rested in defensive strategies. As a genin, his offense was something to be feared. He needed to suppress his love for combat. He often times became overtaken by a spirit of war obsessed with injuring the opponent as much as possible.

In front of him rested a diagram of the chakras present in a human body. He had spent the day focusing his chakra into the base of his spine. The Gate of Opening. The gates were well known to Taijutsu practitioners around the world. Kaitou had no intention of using them in combat but mastered them to develop his discipline. Complete mastery of the body, he figured, would cause complete mastery of the mind.

"... And, open."

His body became invigorated in courage and energy all at once. It was not overwhelming but instead felt like the second wind one experiences in battle. He clenched his fist together. The danger of the technique became obvious from the get-go. His fear and reservations had been suppressed entirely. The opposite of self-control. He had become too fearless.

Balancing this Chakra gives energy to the physical body, controls fear, increases overall health and helps in grounding.

Dravocn smiled to himself, thinking he had a good idea of what he wanted to do now. He looked to his hands. The chakra control he had to be a medic ninja proved itself as he visualized the two chakras in each hand, one type in each hand. The ever shifting and mesmerizing Pattern chakra in his left, distorting the image of his hand, and the grey imagery coating his right hand was the Phantasm chakra. 

He smiled at the two and cracked his neck, focusing his chakras in his hands, watching them before bringing his hands together slowly to symbolize the melding of the chakras. The Pattern and Phantasm hands connected creating something of a misty smoke that drew the eyes for whomever cared. He chuckled to himself as he brought himself to trying to merge the chakras, it took a lot to meld chakras, it wasn't a wonder why it took years of training to become a good enough ninja to accomplish gaining these sorts of chakras, not to mention that genjutsu takes a lot of chakra control as is. 

The boy stared at the chakras and mentally and slowly connected strands of each chakra to the other like a living glue. The pattern chakra drifted slowly toward the phantasm hand, like a breath in the wind, small illusory chimes ringing as it moved. The phantasm chakra whipped chalky glob-like tentacles toward the pattern hand, miniscule skulls with wide open mouths emitting screams in each tentacle.

The boy stared at the chakras, his hands slowly being engulfed in the chakras, causing his grin to grow wider. He chuckled at himself and shook his head before pulling his palms away from each other, the chakras creating long strings from the connections they made to the opposite hands. He watched the strings thin and lengthen before quickly clapping once, clasping his hands together as the chakras burst from his hands, reforming back to his hands like elastic and fought for dominance of the new space they were given between his palms. 

He closed his eyes and focused on his chakra. The melding of the chakras was his base focus at this point, connecting his chakras together slowly. He brought his hands to his chest and squeezed them together, having made his chakras nearly a physical at this point. His determination began actually running through his chakra rather than the anger of his lack of progress. He could see a shimmer in his mind what the combination could create. He could see subconscious minds obeying him, the ability to assist his allies by granting inspiration.

Kaitou rested, the gate of opening remained open. The surge of power coursing through his body was something he could get used to. His normal map of veins had been bulging out even more so than usual. He loved it. His eyes descended once more to the diagram of charka that lay before him. The next, the gate of healing, was in his lower abdominal. He took off his free-flowing robe and returned to the lotus position. His body was covered with puncture wounds that had sealed over.

He looked around him before proceeding. Another individual had joined him to train on this lovely day. It felt like genjutsu from afar. Interesting. For a moment, he took in the "wonderful" atmosphere of his training enviorment before continuing.

Suddenly, he forced his chakra into his lower abdominal region. At first glance, it seemed to work. Some of the holes healed, steam floating off and disappearing into the sky as they healed. Then, the power seemed to fall off. His mind envisioned an actual gate slamming closed, unconvinced of the approaching visitor. He sighed.

His mind formed an illusory map of his own anatomy. He could see, from a bird eye view, his broad physique and each muscle cell. He liked to think. The gate of opening had been easy to open, maybe it came with the title. He wasn't sure why it had been such an easy success.

"This is the gate I actually WANT. What kind of Zen bullshit is it for me to be denied something I've sought all day?"

The diagram discussed that the gate was associated with pleasure. "Wow, I have none of that." However, it can also be blocked by guilt. "Oh, I got LOTS of that." Kaitou's mind went back to his childhood. He formed a mirror of satetsu and held it at such an angle to see his back. The skin was flayed and covered with scars. Whips weren't the best option for skin health. For a long time, he blamed himself for being too weak to fight back. Too weak to save his actual parents. To master the second gate, he would have to release his inhibitions and live without guilt.
