Kaitou remembered an old technique devised by a pseudo-Zen master that had butchered the philosophy behind the practice. Zazen was rooted in careful attention to one's own thoughts. This guy, instead, went with the mindfulness approached favored by snake oil salesman. He had his followers "ball up" their emotions and guilt into a mental ball and throw it away. Simple as pie.
Having spent hours in the lotus position, the traditional Zen meditation had done little to bring the Masamune closer to his goal. He tried out cobra oil. He envisioned his mind as a blackhole that would suck in his negative thoughts, emotions, and guilt into its core. He created a fun-to-look at image of his thoughts attempting to escape the vacuum of the orb. Soon after, a massive ball of metaphorical garbage rested in front of his mind's eye.
"Here's the fun part."
Kaitou then "entered" his own mind. He grabbed the ball with one hand and threw it miles away. He even imagined using his bloodline to power up the throw.

Description: Picture Located in the lower abdomen, genitals, womb, its function is desire, sexuality, pleasure, procreation. Its inner state is tears, its color is orange. Its stones are: Coral and Carnelian. This Chakra is the Water Chakra; it deals with Pleasure and is blocked by Guilt. Balancing this Chakra is associated with sexual vitality, physical power, and fertility.
Takes 2 Movements to Activate.
+4 Pain Threshold Bonus to Will.
User becomes immune to Bleed Out. User heals Minor Wounds every 2 rounds.
User ignores Fatigue and Exhaustion for duration of technique.
Heals Ability Drain/Damage to TaiJutsu Damage and Movements for duration of technique.
When technique ends Fatigue, Exhaustion and Negative points return. Unless the user wishes otherwise, the technique ends at the end of an Encounter. Each round the technique is maintained, the user suffers 3 points of Gate Point Damage. Mastery: Each time learned the amount of healing per round is increased by 1 Armour Point. Learning this technique a 2nd time, the user can activate this gate without sacrificing movements for the purpose of using a more powerful gate, without actually performing this Technique or gaining any of the penalties. User cannot otherwise perform the Technique without sacrificing movements. Learning the technique a 3rd time, the user only suffers 2 Gate Point Damage.
Limit: Must be a practitioner of The Eight Celestial Gates. Must know (1) Gate of Opening - Root.
