It because a little less terrifying when it was revealed that the creature was not immune to it's own poison, which meant that it was very powerful indeed. It was meant that the bear wouldn't try to bite it's victim to release it's poison unless it had them in a hug. It seemed that the creature was smart enough to know to be careful with it's attack. Yuri made her notes on the side of the picture she had drawn and labeled new sections of the bear when appropriate. These Creature were very aggressive in nature, but if she was one with a super deadly deadly poison, she suppose she would be to. They rip the flesh from bipedal animals, and will attack anything that isn't already bleeding.

Even while dying they can fight at full force for at least a couple of minutes longer, and sometimes these hordes would have treasurer on them from their last victims. The only yield that it had was it's poison, which was more than enough to go after this thing. A poison of instant death was very valuable.

Yuri had filled this page up with as much information ass she could about this poisonous bear, and it was a good thing that her teacher seemed to be finished with it. She erased the board as Yuri turned to a fresh page. She twirled her pen around her finger as she waited to see what would be discussed next. She didn't have to wait too long until there was a picture of a giant bird on the board. The teach called it a Boorbie. It was basically a giant stork. Yuri chuckled to herself as she drew her sketch and began to label the bird as she listened to her teacher talk about it. It had a 14 ft wingspan, that was... very big. Everything about this creature was long and exaggerated it seemed.

From it's wings span to it's long legs, it was made to just be huge. They were also immune to poison. Her teacher said it was because of their diet, which she wasn't quite clear on yet. But being Immune to poison meant they could be a good counter to those Poison bears.

They hunt a lone and like to stay close to their nests. They will track down anything that attempts to invade their nest with a 65% accuracy. They like to feed on all sorts of animals in the wetlands of the swap. Their most enjoy feeding on Giant... Man eating bullfrogs, well good for them. They also weren't worried about eating giant poisonous frog either. Should a thing would probably explain why they are immune to poison. Well they didn't seem to be all that bad really. That was of course until her teacher mentioned that they weren't above feeding on a nice plump man, woman or child for their food as well.

Yuri sighed, as of course that was the case. It seemed that human's were at the bottom of the food chain in most cases. Everything wanted to take a bite at them. She shook her head and just continued to take her notes. Fiding out that it didn't have much in the way of yields, not even it's meat could be eaten without getting you sick.

Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals and Vermin creatures. Identifying a Vermin or Animal Creature is dependent on the Difficulty check found in each creature. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.

Yuri turned to a new page just as her teacher began to clear off the board and pulled out another book. She looked over at the stacks of books that were left and it looked like they were almost done. Yuri let out a relived sigh as she looked back up at the board to see a grotesques creature staring back at her. She sighed as they were being talks about the Underworld and expected there to be talk about plenty of bugs. She just didn't want things to start so... aggressively. She shoo her head and just began to sketch out the picture of the creature that was presented to her. She quickly began to the sketch the picture as best she could.

In all honesty her drawings were getting better, but that wasn't really saying much considering where she started. This thing was known as a Worker Arakians. Great form the name she could already tell there was going to be more, she was just going to call it big ugly bug #1.

They were also known as Rak Workers for short. They and insectiod creature that shared a hive mind. Fanstastic, these gross little... no they weren't little, they seemed to be able to grow to the size of an adult human male on average, even larger in some cases. These large Insectiods shared a hize mind which meant they could communicate over lng ranges without making a sound, and to coordinate their actions with pin point perfection. they were just the worse kind of bugs, large semi intelligent and extremely organized. They aren't exactly powerful, but when you have a hive mind and thousand of brother and sisters you really didn't need to be did you.

She shook her head as she continued to write down her notes on these disturbing creatures. She also made sure to note that theses workers jobs was to dig miles of tunnels for the rest of the hive to travel through. This was important because they lived miles beneath the surface of the earth in complex tunnel systems.

She also noted that only 1 of of 5 workers actually had the ability to digest blood. So 20% of the workers were tasked with feeding the other workers by regurgitation. It was gross, and about everything you would expect form such gross things. Yuri shivered a bit and then prepared of for the next one. Thee next one on the docket was the warriors. These were similar to the workers only they seemed to be more powerful, and they din all the hunting for the hive. And of course, what did they hunt? Well of course humans. They would dig entrances to the hive tunnels in the poor parts of town to remain undected while the ambushed and slaughtered prey... lovely.

Oh look at that, they could also shoot webbing and had poison. Of course, because they need more ways to kill and ensnare unsuspecting humans to be eaten, digested, and regurgitated for those hard working digging killer bugs. They also seemed to be hyper aggressive, attacking anything that crosses them that isn't another of their kind.

Well the upside was they could have their poison harvested, although that was a small consideration, as the poison itself wasn't at all that impressive to begin with. The webbing gland could also be removed, and that may have a little more use in the future, but still not nearly enough to risk sending in troops to attack an entire hive of these things. Yuri sighed as she was being to run out of room on this page. She turned the page over as her teacher began to erase the board herself. Yuri looked up and saw her beginning to draw another picture similar to the last two that she had just seen. Yuri sighed as she begin to make her sketch.

These thing were called the Brood Watchers. They were even bigger than the warriors, and it seemed that their main focus was to protect the eggs of the Queen. This would mean that they were probably the most formidable of the bunch so far. Yuri completed her sketch and waited to receive more info.

They have two razor sharp pinches, but unlike the warriors they rarely if ever leave the hive. They protect the Queen and her eggs, and like the Warriors they too can shoot webbing. The Brood Watchers coordinate everything for the protection of the Queen and her eggs. they can not carry eggs themselves but they direct the workers who can. They are also responsible for cocooning workers, warriors, and human victims/food, in case there is an emergency. In the event of battle that is not going well for the hive they will command the workers to cave in the tunnels to cut off the enemy for them and the Queen. Every attack that these things take is for the sake of the ultimate survival of the hive.

In a way Yuri could kind of respect the lengths they were willing to go through to keep the hive going. But they were still pretty freak'in gross, there was no getting around that. Yuri stuck out her tongue as her teacher erased the board in front of her. And began to draw once again. Yuri turned her page in anticipations.

Her teacher drew on the board a picture of the massive Arakian Queen. It was massive in size, so massive in fact that her teacher claims that it can not fight. However, it will command the action of the entire hive, and when it is near death, it will command the workers to gather the remaining eggs and flee. When a Queen dies, and there or at least to Brood Watchers the Hive will split into two forming 2 hives one following each brood watcher. because of the Queen the only reason these creatures have manage to stay hidden for so long is because only 50% of their eggs actually hatch. The other are used as food to feed the queen who need to constantly feed. It is said that the queens have treasure hordes that are on par with that of dragons.

The Queens main job to to lay eggs constantly, and it is because of this it needs to feed continuously. It insatiable hunger, and need for expansion have proven to be the true threat of these creatures. City of Orcs and troll have crumbled because of the miles of tunnels dug beneath their feet, by these creatures. Yuri made sure to take note of all of this. they where becoming more in need of extermination by the second.

The board was soon erased once again and Yuri smiled as she was more than happy to move on to something else. She turned the page in her notebook and waited for the next creature to show itself. It seemed like they were moving back to the beasts of legend. But what she got appeared to be nothing more than a common house cat. She raised an eyebrow as she just began to sketch the picture of the cat that was place in front of her. It was called a Dungeon cat. Yuri chuckled as she figured the next thing she was going to say was that it was actually 15 feet long and shot laser beams out of it's eyes. Fortunately, or unfortunately for Yuri, this time that was not the case.

It appeared that cat was not much bigger than your typical house hold cat. However, it did come with an assortment of abilities, yields that could be quite useful. Yuri hurriedly finish drawing her sketch of the creature into her notebook, as she waited to hear more about the cat.

The cat's fur was also darker in color compared to the average house hold cat, but it was not one to start a fight. No, in fact it would much rather just eat and nap the day away if it could. However, that did not mean it would not engage in violence if it was provoked and looking to defend itself. Its most impressive skills thought would have to be it's ability to detect gold anywhere within a 20 meter radius. though they are cats and very difficult to train so that ability becomes somewhat useless in the the grand scheme off things. But it did have another quite impressive set of skill up it's sleeves. It could move with almost unmatched stealth as well as completely hide itself in the shadows.

While they are interesting creatures with strange and maybe some useful abilities. They were wild cards at best, untrustworthy trouble makers at worse. Yuri looked up form her notes to make she she was paying attention to what the teacher was saying, because what it sounded like to her was that this cats were truly legendary for one reason.

The cat's are completely unreliable and untrustworthy. They will follow you just as long as they are feed. Once they are hungry or feel as if you have not feed them enough they will abandon you and seek the presence of someone else that will feed them. All the while they will whine loudly attracting the attention of nearby monster and creatures in the area. It as if that is a final giant middle finger to the person that had owned it up till that point. The were originally made by alchemist to handle a rodent problem in their dungeons. However, the cats soon killed the rats and because the problem themselves. If one could somehow convince one to cooperate they would make great companions.

Yuri wasn't really buying that last part. How would one even go about gaining the loyalty of such a thing. it wasn't exactly dangerous, but it still seemed like far more trouble that it was worth. She was sure there was someone out there with the patience to try, but she was not one of them in the slightest.

Yuri was finally done learning about the bitch cat. That wasn't it's name but that was exactly what thee little shit acted like. She sighed as she turned her notebook over to a new fresh page, just as her teacher began to write on the board. She looked up at the the broad and began to draw the best sketch she could of the creature that she was now looking at. She it looked like a frog, nothing seemed to be all to special about this creature. However, like with everything else, there was more to this frog than meets the eyes. It was big for a toad, and it had striking red and purple warts all over it's body. Yuri made sure to take note of this was this was going to be the tell-tell way of identifying this thing.

It could only be found and dry regions, like the underworld and wastelands lands which made a certain bit of sense, but she still was quite sure what made this thing special enough to be considered mythical, other than being a weird color and a little hard to find. Yuri looked back down at her notebook as she added more notes.

It didn't take long for her to find out what made them so special. The little things could shot out fire balls. They were completely immune to fire and could shot out fire that could deal about 40ap of damage. That was a lot of punch inside the tiny body of that toad. The blast radius of it's fire was 2 meters wide and it shot out to over 10 meters. In comparison to it's small size that range and power was crazy. She made sure to write this down and even went out of her way to make little animations of the thing spit hot fire towards the bottom of the page. This was a tiny little thing but it could be quite dangerous if one wasn't careful.

Luckily, it seemed that firetoads only had about a 20% chance of attacking unproved, with was good to know. You didn't want a creature that was a walking flamethrower to be too jittery. Yuri snickered to herself as she imagined herself keeping one as a pet, and it burning down the house because her shadow startled it.

The Fire toad didn't seem to be much of a fan of water. which she understood that because of it's nature, but didn't quiet understand that scientifically. If it didn't like the water and actively tried to avoid it. Then how was it even around? Yes it's mythical being, but wouldn't it need to be a tadpole first? It is a frog, does water actually hurt it? If so did that mean it spent the first period of it's life and agonizing pain? She would have to applaud the creature if that was the case because how anyone could go through that and not be a little murder after that was a mystery. To get rid of a Firetoad just toss water on them and they'll flee if they can.

According to her teacher, fire toad can make excellent guard dogs. Yuri was inclined to agree as they were small and could fit into plenty of small spots. However, unless you lived somewhere native to these frogs, they were 5 times more expensive to keep feed than dogs.

Yuri looked down at the notebook in front of her and sighed as a she turned her page to give herself a fresh page to use. As she turned her page her teacher erased the chalk board. She soon began the draw up a picture on the board and when she finished Yuri groaned as it was something that she hated more than bugs. It was a large rat staring at her on the chalk board, and the title over it's head was giant rat. She sighed and began to draw the picture of the disgusting beast as beast she could. She stuck out her tongue a she finished off her sketch by drawing the long gross tail, that really freaked her out the most.

She looked back up at the board to get one more reference and began labeling the damn thing. It was apparently called Giant because it was several times larger that a normal rat, it wasn't quite as large as a dog, but being about the size of a cate was still way to big for this thing.

Thee damn thing like to live near sewers and water. These creatures were obviously very good swimmers. That was a shame she would have knock drowning them off of her list of ways to kill these damn things. They liked to make nests and they usually surrounded them with shiny objects. Yuri sighed as she continued to take her notes about the giant rat. They can fit into spaces much smaller than they are by dislocating their bones and pushing their bodies through. The more she learned about them the more disgusting they became it was really starting to get a bit un-nerving to say the least. She labeled the parts of the rats and made special note to mark the the areas about the bones

Rats were carries of disease, but usually they weren't very aggressive.But that was not the case with these rats. They were far more aggressive than normal rats, and she wasn't sure if that was because of their size or the fact that they enlarge from regular rats when they come into contact with evil chakra.
