The newest crime against humanity was erased from the chalk board, and Yuri once again turned her page in anticipation of the next monster to be talked about. She tapped her pen against the page as she wanted to see what it would be. Once her teacher finished her work Yuri's eyebrow almost hit the clouds as see saw the creature that was on the board. It was a sheep... it was a god damn sheep. In what world was a sheep Mythical? Yuri's shoulders than slumped all the way to the ground, as she saw the name that her teacher put over the picture of the sheep. It was a carnivorous sheep. That had to be a joke right? probably not, the predatory rabbit was a thing. She sighed, as she asked repeatedly if that was real or not.

She was hoping that this was just an elaborate joke. She was going that the predatory rabbit was one too, and the was all just a goof by her teacher. Her teacher shook her head, and Yuri defeated, put her head down and began to to sketch a picture of the sheep for herself.

The damn thing looked exactly like a regular sheep in every way. Although apparently they grew to be several times larger than normal sheep in most cases. other than it's size of the fully grown sheep it was impossible to tell the difference between the two kinds until on attacked. it had rows of razor sharp teeth. Theses crafty little things by day blended in with regular sheep, but at night anything organic that wasn't a sheep. So in a since this thing could be the ultimate sheep protector against things like wolves, and poachers, but this thing wasn't exactly tamable. So getting it to do it the way she would want it to. A single bite from it could sever a person arms clean off. And it seemed that the monster liked to prey on begers and drunks.

This lend itself to believe that these things were fairly intelligent, to know who exactly to target to know that they would serve no threat into other figuring out what they were. If that was really the case, then having one around actually wouldn't be too bad. Which was a good thing because it didn't exactly give anything good in return.

Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. They had finished their lesson of the monsters of the rural region now it was time to talk about special animals. Yuri turned her notebook to a new page, as she hear her teacher talking to her about what was coming next. Apparently these next group of creatures weren't typically bound to a certain region, that they could only be found under special circumstances. Yuri nodded her head as she took down the notes, and was a bit excited, because she expected these creatures to all have some amazing yields giving the special circumstances in which they were found. Yuri looked up at the board as she waited for the first creature.

her teacher then began to draw on the chakra board. the creature that was drawn on the board didn't seem all that impressive at first glance, but by this point she had learned that it was better not the judge such things by their first appearances. Yuri began to sketch for herself as she waited for an explanation.

Yuri looked up after she had finished her sketch. She had a curious look on her face as she red the name beer lurker. She became a little squeamish at the thought of it, were these things just randomly swimming around in beers? They were also known as Suds Demons, and they were parasites the live in beer, and would feed on whatever host body that was unlucky enough to digest them... gross. They have rows of sharp teeth and are amber in color allowing them to blend in perfectly with the beer in question. Spotting the creatures even while sober was a difficult task thanks you their size and color. Once they are ingested, the worms would feed on the hosts organs.

This just sounded like an awful way to die, but for some reason she couldn't stop herself from being fascinated by what she was hearing. She put her head down as she continued to take her notes intently. She looked back up to hear what else she had to say about this tiny deadly thing.

Beer Lukers live in beer, but prefer warm bodies. Once inside of the body they will feast on the organs until the host is dead. Once they have killed the host they will vacant the body, and in most cases they will die a couple of hours later, if they don't find a host body. They will try to flee for the sewers to avoid being killed and eaten by scavengers. Those who are host of the beer luker will fill ill and pain in their abdomens within minutes after consuming them. By the second day victims will notice bleeding from orifices. Even then only a skilled Doctor will be able to tell what the person is suffering from, and they can only be removed with surgery, Disease cleansing, or a Miracle.

Yuri made sure to take down all of these notes. This creature was one of the more interesting of the creatures she had studied so far and she had been taught about a few rather odd and interesting things to be sure. After she made her notes she looked back up at the board to see what other nuggets of knowledge her teacher was sharing with her.

Apparently Beer lurkers reproduced asexually, and need the fermented gains to help in that practice. Because of that, they instinctively seek out places that hold large amounts of beer, like taverns or clubs. They usually find their way into the beer through the river and water lines. Victims who have been cured of the Beer lurkers, will take several weeks for them to completely recover for them. If they are poured out onto the ground they will die within a few seconds. They can also be killed by hot water apparently which was a little odd that hot water killed it since it enjoyed to warmth of the inside of a human body. Yuri shrugged her shoulders as she continued to take her notes.

She sighed a bit as she saw that the deadly little thing didn't have any yields. Although honestly it shouldn't be that surprising, it was rather small, there wouldn't be much she could get from it's tiny body if anything at all. She finish the last bit of the notes on this one and waited for the next.

The beer lurkers where erased from the board in front of her, and and started to draw something else on it. Yuri turned the page of her notebook to prepare for what was coming next. She looked up to see that it was a dog of sorts though it seemed a bite different than normal dogs. She began to draw her sketch of the creature as she had done so many times before, with a smile on her face. It was short and broad, but according to her teacher they possessed great power and stamina. They weren't able to run partically fast but they could fit into the narrowest of places that otherwise would remain hidden. They will trot along side of their master untiringly making them reliable partners.

They have short coats ranging in color from coal black to a reddish-gold and have large, golden eyes. They appear to be highly intelligent, and miners often use the dogs to sniff out veins of ore deep within the mountains. Yuri was happy, this was a rather nice doggy, and she wouldn't mind having one fore herself.

They have a loud echoing bark that can be heard for miles. This makes them a very valuable watch dog among the other perks that this creature seem to have. The dog arent' very fond of being away from tight spaces or dim lightning. So they are never really seen much in the outside wilds, unless they are acting as a watchdog for some rick lord or lady. They are fearless and loyal to a fault, afraid of absolutely nothing, and willing to attack anything for the sake of their master. Regardless of how large nothing will stop their attack but death. Their bark is worse than they bite but that is. it's bark can cause confusion and disorientation to anyone near it.

If that wasn't enough, it will bark for the entirety that it is fighting. This made the dog a very valuable alley in the mist of battle, especially with a potent amount of training behind it. Yuri smiled a bit at the thought of having such a powerful loyal ally at her side all the time. She would have to give some thought in to getting one for herself.

Yuri flipped the page of her notes book as she began to the focus on the next bit of region they were going to go over. HEr teacher erased the board and then began draw a new creature onto the chalk board. Yuri was quite this time around, because by this point she had pretty much seen everything, and nothing was going to surprise her much at this point. She sighed as she began to sketch out a picture of the alligator that her teacher had shown on the chalk board in front of her. It didn't look to out of the ordinary, but she knew that wasn't going to be the case when she saw the name.

It was designated as a Giant Alligator. This wasn't too surprising at all. In fact she was more surprised that it wasn't given some other dumb ass name, or some body just didn't slap a Behemoth title to the front of it. She finished making her sketch, and looked back up at her teacher.

Yuri listend to everything her teacher had to say and there was a lot there. It would seem she was wrong, it was more than just a larger version of the typical Alligator. She began to label every thing about the creature as she would with everything else. She labeled it's powerful jaws, she made sure to make mention of it's substantial size. it's size was truly something to behold and was only one of the few things that actually match the name. This thing was colossal in size. It towered over a regular alligator, and could possible devour a full grown man whole. She made her labels and then then made sure to pay attention to it's tail.

It's tail was some how poisonous. She wasn't going to ask how that was possible, or what purpose that would serve, because she was sure she was going to get her answer, or get an answer that was frustrating, and annoying, and she'd want to throw into a pit of fire, because it would make no sense.

She didn't seem to talk much about what the tail actually did other than it was used to attack. That really didn't help her much in the way of understand why. It was already huge so she didn't see the need of it having a poisonous tail. She shrugged her shoulders as she just continued to take her notes, and write down what she was being told. The creature had a thick and powerful hide, which she could have figured out herself. What was fascination was that it was a bit more aggressive than a regular alligator. It would attack anything that it made eye contact with. That also included ships that traveled by.

It attacking a ship wasn't shocking, it was well big enough to eat one, it was just shocking to see the disregard for itself and everything around it. Although it seemed it wouldn't waste it's time with a single human, that wouldn't be enough for a proper snack she assumed. That was kind of good to hear she guessed.

She was still a bit confused about how it's poisonous tail actually poisoned anything. But it didn't take her long to get her answer. She smiled and as she heard that it could swing it's tail like a club. She found it funny that someone who falls prey to the poison would be stunned. they basically meant that the damn thing didn't do anything at all. If anyone was hit by that massive tail, begin stunned would be the least of their worries. It could cleave a boat in two with a swipe off it's tail. It was a powerful creature and the poison didn't really didn't do much to add to it's power. She supposed it could help against creatures bigger than it, but such creatures were extraordinarily rare.

Regardless, she would mark the tip of the tail, and began to write down exactly what it was capable of doing. If someone was hardy enough to survive getting hit by that, it would suck to be stunned by the afterward, to make yourself easy picking for the beast.

She was a little curious to find out that not everything devoured by this monster, would be instantly crushed, by it's massive jaws. It didn't seem to chew but swallow it's food whole. So if someone managed to escape it's clapping jaws, then you could survive to see yourself swallowed into the depths of this beasts stomach. However, it really didn't seem like that was much of a victory. You would be subject to it's powerful stomach acids that would threaten to dissolve you the entire time that you were trapped inside of the beast. However, there was a little bit a good new to go along with this massive suck salad.

It seemed that while it's extreme size was the cause of most of it's danger, it also would help against avoiding it. It dwell in rivers and swamps, but it would not wander into places that could not accommodate it's massive size. So the smaller swamps and rivers would be clear of these things.

It would appear that these giant Alligator were there own separate race off alligators. They were actual just a 1 in 10,000 mutation that happened withing the genone of the regular alligator. the lucky beast would be born with a poison tail, as well as the ability to grow larger than most rivers and swamps could accommodate. They grow at accelerated rates, and will decimate they local food supply, this would then send to out to constantly search for food. They can not be charmed, as they only thing that will be on it's mind when they encounter humans is to feed on them.

Giant Alligator meat can be eaten, and is considered a delicacy. The Hide can be used to create armor. The teeth is used to create jewelry. The Poison in the tail may be removed. All of this was useful in one way or the other and it wasn't all THAT dangerous. A skilled fighter should bee about to handle themselves.

After she had finished taking her notes on the the Giant Alligator the teach would wipe the picture off of the board, and the notes that went along with it. As she did so Yuri turned her page to give herself a fresh page to write down the next few nuggets of knowledge. The teacher began to drawn a picture of a bear on the board. Which was rather odd because she thought they were going to get into more mythical of the animals now. She began to write down her sketch with a smile on her face. As she finished her initial sketch she looked up to see the name of this animal.

The name off this monster was called the poisonous bear. She made a curious sound as she didn't know that bears could even be poisonous. Although she didn't know a Alligator could grow to be the size of building and have a poison tail. She looked back down at her writings and added the name of the creature.

As she finished up her sketch she looked back up at the board and began to label her sketch as best she could. She sighed as this thing wasn't much different for the run of the mill bear in appearance anyway. Like most bears it had a thick fur coat, and powerful claws. It didn't seem to get much bigger than you're average grizzly, if at all. However it wasn't long before the difference were made rather obvious. The thick fur that it possesses, was of a greenish tint to it. Their jaws were much larger than regular bear, and it had very large fangs. As she labeled and draw the fangs larger on her sketch, she heard her teacher say that the fangs dripped with poison.

She smiled at this because this was actually made sense. It made a lot more sense then a giant Alligator having a tail. Although it was still a bit odd to be sure. She hadn't hear of any mammals that had access to poison, but of course she didn't know much about anything but music before she started this class.

Yuri looked backed up as she continued to add on to her notes. It seemed that on average these things grew to be about 2000 lbs, and their heads where the size of a horse's head.That was probably to accommodate the large poisonous fangs that the creature had popping out of it's mouth. To add on to all of that it's eyes are glazed over an yellow. If she meet this thing in person it was sure to be a terrifying sight. Just the mental image of it, made it seem, like a walking corpse of sorts. They dwell exclusively in swaps it would seem and their claws could deal quite a bit of damage, from a causal swipe, which wasn't all too surprising given it's size.

Of course with poisonous fangs the creature would attempt to bite a target at even given chance. Each bite had the capability of poisoning an individual. However... unlike the poison from the Giant Alligator, the poison form this bear could lead to instant death. It was terrifying indeed.
