Learning: 0/5 | +2 Die Rolls; Able Learning = 7 rolls total
0/125sp
Lore, Monster (Forest)
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: Players with this skill have accumulated a great deal of knowledge regarding the myriad of foul creatures that prowl the world.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Whether acquired from the "fairy tales" of youth, "tall tales" related in various ale houses, weird stories told by travelers or knowledge gained from books, the character has devoured any information he could regarding monsters and their habitats strengths, and weaknesses. If a character makes their skill check, the user will know all information pertaining to that creature. This roll should be made secretly for if the character fails by less than 20, a Game Master should relate false (and preferably dangerously misleading) information. If the Character fails by 20 or more, they cannot recall anything about the subject. Identifying a Creature is dependent on the Difficulty check found in each creature. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Yuri finished her sketch which came out pretty good this time. Although in all honesty there wasn't much here for her to sketch this time around. She shrugged her shoulders and took the victory for what it was. This thing The Burrowing Basilisk, was... gross. It dug itself into the flesh of victims and releases liquid from it's body that petrified the victim, but why though? It didn't make much sense to her. Did it eat stone or something? Or did it just get it's kicks from it. Not only was the petrification unstoppable it was extremely painful. It was a small but highly dangerous creature. However, the yields that it possessed were just as deadly
Only some one skill could remove the full gland of a Monster, that gland could be used to make potions of petrifications. And that could be highly useful and very valuable to the Hidden grass. Yuri would mark a star next to the creature. It was dangerous but was easy enough to handle, and it's rewards out weighed it's risks.
