"CALM DOWN!? I'll calm down when you lot are out of my sight! Away with you! Go bother someone else!" roared the man while he walked closer to the younger man.
Minoru backed away so he did not get hit with that hammer. He made sure to maintain a distance of ten feet between the duo. A part of him wanted to attack, but he was here for an investigation. The guy knew he had to be professional. "Bye then" muttered the Chuunin as he walked away from the cooper.
He did not turn his back until he was twenty feet away. 'Jeez. Someone's forgotten to take their pills today' concluded the male while he walked towards his partner.
"Well, that didn't help much. But I am a little suspicious about that guy" muttered the black-haired guy when they were out of his ear shot.
"I never told him that I was investigating a murder. But rumour may be running fast in this village. I think we should use Toshio-kun or our doujutsu to search through his house later on.
We have one more house to look through. Maybe we can do a quick check there before we continue. What do you say?" inquired the guy while he looked at Kyodai.
His animal companion was a bit more skittish than usual. Toshio was not used to humans roaring while flailing something that could easily halve his size. His other animal companion was flying above them like a white ghost of some sort.
She had seen the whole commotion, but had decided not to react. It seemed like the humans were handling things fine.

Jutsus and skills used [Minoru]:
Byakugan. Has learned the jutsu four times.
Rank: “C” Rank (special, see description).
Skill: Ninjutsu.
Effect: An jutsu when activating allows the user the ability to constantly see chakra.
Special: ---
Drawback: May learn at a maximum of 5 times.
Description: An eye jutsu for the Hyūga clan. When activating the user's eyes dilate in the same white colour as veins bulge out of the corner of the eyes. The user can activate this technique as a “C” Rank technique taking up hand seals. The user is able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The user may concentrate for an amount of hand seals equal to a “C” Rank technique while their byakugan is active to gain the see chakra and see through chakra effects for as long as the user concentrates and their byakugan remains active. Deactivating this ability takes up no movements. When the user learns this technique the first two times, they train it as a regular “C” Rank jutsu. When the user learns this technique the second two times, they train it as a “C” Rank jutsu +10 training points. When the user learns this technique the last time, they train it as a “C” Rank jutsu +20 training points.
Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan.
Telescopic eye. Range: 50 meters.
Rank: “C” Rank (special, see description).
Skill: Supplementary.
Effect: The user is able to see much further than normal and access an X-Ray ability.
Special: ---
Drawback: Must have the byakugan active. May learn up to ∞ times.
Description: When concentrating to see through chakra, the character can also spend time equal to hand seals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular “C” Rank jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters, the user trains an additional +10 training points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) telescopic eye is reduced by 50%. Future learning also reduces distance by 50%.
Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. Must know byakugan.
All-seeing eye. Range: 10 meters.
Rank: “B” Rank.
Skill: Supplementary.
Effect: The user sees all that is around them and nothing can escape their all-seeing eye.
Special: ---
Drawback: User gains a small blind spot located at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra.
Description: Taking the time of a “B” Rank technique in hand seals, the user may activate this technique. By activating this ability, the byakugan gives the user a near 360° field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebrae. The distance of this vision is 1/5th of the user's knowledge in telescopic eye (maximum distance 40 meters). Please note that the further the user may see, the larger the blind spot becomes. User is still subject to eye attacks.
Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan.
Improved uncanny dodge.
Rank: “A” Rank.
Skill: Supplementary.
Effect: The user can no longer be flanked.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: This defense denies an opponent the ability to sneak attack the character by flanking them, unless the opponent has at least 4 more class points than the target does. class points is the invisible number found in between class levels.
* 5,500 to infinite training points: There is 1 class point every 800 training points.
* Total for Minoru [7140 TP]: 9 class points.
Example: User has improved uncanny dodge with 535 training points. An opponent with 900 training points can still perform sneak attacks while flanking the user.
Example: User has improved uncanny dodge with 1,660 training points. An opponent with 2,100 training points cannot perform sneak attacks while flanking the user.
Limit: Must learn from a master of burēdono kenseijin. Must know uncanny dodge.
Sense motive. Level: Advanced [63/125].
Rank: “E” Rank.
Skill: Skill.
Effect: User is skilled at detecting falsehoods and true intentions.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A successful check lets you avoid being bluffed (see the acting skill). The user can also use this skill to determine when "something is up" (that is, something odd is going on) or to assess someone's trustworthiness. Sense motive does not, however, allow a character to determine whether a given statement is a lie. In addition, a character can use this skill to make an assessment of a social situation. With a successful check (very difficult difficulty), the character can get the feeling from another's behaviour that something is wrong. Also, the character can get the feeling that someone is trustworthy and honourable. A sense motive check may be made as a reaction to another character's acting check. Try again: No, though user may make a sense motive check for each acting check made against the user. Look in task skills thread found in the skills and traits index for more information. If user has 25 or more ranks in evidence analysis user gains a synergy bonus +10 to sense motive. If user has 25 or more ranks in cultures user gains a synergy bonus +10 to sense motive when interacting with someone of said culture. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Acting. Level: Expert [76/125].
Rank: “E” Rank (5 TP at all times).
Skill: Skill.
Effect: Acting enables a character to skilfully portray various roles.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Acting is most often used as a form of entertainment, though it can also be useful in aiding a disguise or pulling a scam. A skilled actor knows how to research their role in order to provide a realistic portrayal to include mannerisms, speech patterns, dialect or jargon. The acting skill also confers a cumulative 5% bonus (per level above unskilled) to disguise skill check rolls. The list below gives examples of mastery and what the character can do.
• Expert: Can independently 'invent' a role such as a lord, member of a cult, wealthy merchant, etc., and can dress and act the part with such skill that he can pass as that person.
Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Jutsus and skills used [Toshio]:
Scent.
Rank: “D”, “C” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: This extraordinary special quality allows a creature to detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The creature can detect opponents within 10-meters by sense of smell. If the opponent is upwind, the range increases to 20-meters; if downwind, it drops to 5-meters. Strong scents, such as smoke or rotting garbage, can be detected at x2 the ranges noted above. Overpowering scents, such as skunk musk, can be detected at x3 normal range. When a creature detects a scent, the exact location of the source is not revealed—only its presence somewhere within range. The creature can take a movement to note the direction of the scent. Whenever the creature comes within two meters of the source, the creature pinpoints the source’s location. When finding herbs and animals (random), scent may improve searching for them (must have Scent of object previously before searching). Learning “D” Rank allows the user to search for common things, while “S” Rank for nearly impossible. Each rank user learns increases chance of finding by 2% for the rank of herb, and increases per rank thereafter. Example: At “S” Rank, user gains 10% increase chance in finding common herbs and animals, but only 2% increase for nearly impossible herbs and animals.
Limit: Must be an animal, fey, monster or vermin. Innate animal jutsu.
Detect evil.
Rank: “C” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: A technique where an animal companion is able to sense if there is evil in a person by using their animal instincts.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: An animal has a keen sense that no other person has. With this type of keen sense it can read one's body type, feel the intentions emitting from the body, as well as get an understanding of everything. It doesn't matter what a person does, the way they stand, how calm they are, how much they move, how they walk, or even the heartbeat of the person, an animal is able to sense the type of person they are. With this technique the animal is capable of figuring out of the person is perhaps an evil intentioned character. This will help the animal feel threatened or feel more at eased, or to perhaps not even care or feel if one is perhaps suspicious in some way.
Limit: Must have an animal companion.
Sekondo nen (Second sense) [10 + 20].
Rank: “D”, “C” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: The brawler depending on the rank of the technique the user is capable of reacting through subconscious mind against attacks against the user in different manners such as being flanked, and from behind. This technique makes the brawler incapable of being surprise attacked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the “C” Rank version they must be “C” Class, if they wish to learn the “B” Rank version they must be “B” Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the brawler is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. If an opponent comes to a brawler at a bar, and attacks with a sword, or a club, the brawler gains the urge to dodge to the left, or to the right, where they are capable of reacting before the action is completed. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a “D” Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is “C” Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a brawler.
Prepared in case of emergency:
Hakkeshou: Daikaiten (Hands of the eight divination: Great whirl).
Rank: “B” Rank.
Skill: Taijutsu.
Effect: An advanced version of hakkeshou: kaiten, the user releases a greater amount of chakra from their tenketsu while spinning like a top, creating a defensive chakra dome of a greater size.
Special: --
Drawback: --
Description: The user begins to spin like a top, excreting chakra from their tenketsu at a much higher level than the hakkeshou: kaiten. This creates a dome of spinning chakra that will repel or stop taijutsu, projectiles, and ninjutsu of “B” rank or less. The radius of the giant dome is ten meters, and is capable of blowing opponents backward up to fifteen meters.
Limit: Must learn from a jyuuken teacher or at the Hyuuga mansion. Must be a Hyuuga. Must know hakkeshou: kaiten and jyuuken advanced stance. Main house only.
Byakugan. Has learned the jutsu four times.
Rank: “C” Rank (special, see description).
Skill: Ninjutsu.
