Heaven: Blocking Technique (Point Up/Point Down)
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: User learns the basic blocks to be used in Ten Ryuu (Heaven Method).
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: User must learn to block with all 3 swords. They must learn to use any of the 3 swords at hand at any time. The user will block using the 5 blocks of Point Up and Point Down (10 in all) with any grip (With both grips, the amount of blocks should equal to 20), with just the tip of the blade while pointing it either up, or down. 4 of the blocks cover the 4 gates of Martial Arts (top left of the body, top right, bottom left, and bottom right), while the 5th is a parry for stabs. All 5 blocks are necessary for the most demanding of situations.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Tensora (天空 Heavenly Sky), Must know Heaven: Ready Stance.
Kisume traverses the blazing desert of Hino no Kuni with his sword dangling from his waist. Kisume throws his scarf over his face to keep the sand out of his face. He grabs the handle of his long sword slowly pulling it from its scabard. as he makes his way through the desert he starts to motion the 10 blocks, he shifts to the side pulling his sword up. He pulls the sword down and reversing his grip, putting the sword into an upright position. he bends to the right to block an imaginary attack on the right, then He blocks to the left bending the sword towards his face. He runs his fingers across the blade pulling it back into a fencing position, he parries an imaginary attack. he takes the blade in one hand and makes it perpendicular to his body and he takes his other hand to brace the blade for another attack.
Kisume slows down to a stop and tries to remember what his father said about this blocking technique."Son, now remember there are twenty points of blocking with your sword, you can use your blade and your hilt if you're smart." Kisume puts his long sword in its scabbard. He continues to walk but instead of blocking with the blade he uses the scabbard to launch the sword into a position to block an attack coming from the upper left. Kisume grabs the handle and extends it to the right and up blocking the imaginary attack he does the same for the lower left, bending the sword down instead of up. He pulls the sword out of its scabbard and he blocks an attack on the right.
